Marine Le Pen on the Great Helicopter Escape

A few days ago a culture-enriching celebrity criminal named Rédoine Faïd made a daring escape by helicopter from a high-security prison in France. Mr. Faïd’s CV includes armed robbery, murder, and other traditional criminal activities; it’s not clear at this point whether there have been any instances of deliberate jihad among his escapades.

The following clip is the first part of an interview with Marine Le Pen from the French radio service RTL. In this excerpt Ms. Le Pen, the leader of Rassemblement National (formerly the Front National), discusses the fact that the Justice Ministry had been warned in advance that Rédoine Faïd was up to no good, and needed to be moved from the prison.

Many thanks to Ava Lon for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

Below are excerpts from two Breitbart articles about Rédoine Faïd’s escape.

Manhunt After Notorious Inmate Escapes From French Prison By Helicopter | Breitbart

PARIS (AP) — France’s justice minister says investigators believe that drones seen months ago buzzing above a prison may be linked to the brazen escape of a notorious French criminal.

Justice Minister Nicole Belloubet said authorities are urgently looking for gaps in the security system that would have allowed heavily armed men to land a helicopter in the prison yard and fly away with Redoine Faid, whose brother was visiting him.

The helicopter was found torched in a field. French media reported that the three men took the pilot hostage and later freed him. Faid’s brother has been detained.

When The New York Times Was Prescient About Donald Trump

A long essay from 1984 on Donald Trump from The New York Times, no less.

There are so many possible things one could extract from the meandering piece, but on this Fourth of July the following [edited for clarity and spelling] snip seemed most appropriate:

…“The football thing is cute, Trump Tower and the piano and all of that, it’s all cute, but what does it mean?” he says, sounding what borders on a note of uncharacteristic despair.

Asked to explain, he adds: “What does it all mean when some wacko over in Syria can end the world with nuclear weapons?”

He says that his concern for [a] nuclear holocaust is not one that popped into his mind during any recent made-of-television movie. He says that it has been troubling him since his uncle, a nuclear physicist, began talking to him about it 15 years ago.

His greatest dream is to personally do something about the problem and, characteristically, Donald Trump thinks he has an answer to nuclear armament: Let him negotiate arms agreements — he who can talk people into selling $100 million properties to him for $13 million. “Negotiation is an art”, he says, “and I have a gift for it.”

The idea that he would ever be allowed to go into a room alone and negotiate for the United States, let alone be successful in disarming the world, seems the naive musing of an optimistic, deluded young man who has never lost at anything he has tried. But he believes that through years of making his views known and through supporting candidates who share his views, it could someday happen.

He is constantly asked about his interest in running for elective office. Absolutely not, he answers. All of the false smiles and the red tape. It is too difficult to really do anything.

He dislikes meetings and paperwork and is in the enviable position of being able to avoid both.

Well, it took more than thirty years before The Donald changed his mind, rolled up his sleeves, and decided it wasn’t too difficult after all. Now it’s “President Trump”, if you don’t mind… and I don’t. As he transformed New York real estate in that period, perhaps he will transform Washington politics, finally beginning the overdue change of the socialist skyline and the swamp begun under FDR. We can only hope he’ll have enough time.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to lead in crucial domestic areas: his executive orders (a practice his predecessor used to move our country leftward) have, for instance, made it easier to fire incompetent civil servants, and harder for immigrants from terrorist countries to gain entrance (not all of those countries are majority-Islam, despite what the news says).

And then there is his appointment of federal judges. You can see from the wiki that many of those appointments languish in the bowels of our legislative branch. Makes you wonder what they will do to his eventual second choice for the Supreme Court. Have no doubt: it will be brutal.

There’s a great deal to ponder in this, the 242nd year of our independence. To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin’s harried answer a woman’s inquiry at the time they were hammering out the details: “it’s a republic, madam, if you can keep it.”

Happy Fourth of July, y’all.

Mutti Goes Down While Denmark Gets Tough

Dr. Turley’s wrap-up of the too-little-too-late EU Conference last weekend makes his usual salient points:

And the icing on that cake of crow Merkel must eat? Besides Norway’s crackdown, look at Denmark’s amazing new acculturation rules for immigrants. This is tough stuff:

A new set of laws governing life in 25 low-income, heavily Muslim enclaves in Denmark – officially labeled as “ghettos” – is the latest salvo as Europe grapples with integrating an influx of migrants.

Beginning at the age of 1, “ghetto children” must be separated from their “ghetto parents” for 25 hours per week for mandatory instruction in so-called “Danish values,” which includes learning about the language and the traditions of Christmas and Easter, The New York Times reported.

Families that don’t comply with the rules could see their welfare payments cut off. Danish citizens outside of these areas are able to choose whether to enroll children in preschool up to age 6.

The integration of immigrants has been challenging for Denmark, a country known for having a small, rather homogeneous population, the vast majority of which are ethnic Danes. Lawmakers have focused on neighborhoods where immigrants, some placed in these areas by the government, live in dense concentrations and sometimes suffer from higher rates of unemployment and violence.

During a New Year’s speech, Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen reportedly warned ghettos could “reach out their tentacles onto the streets” by spreading violence, and that, because of ghettos, “cracks have appeared on the map of Denmark.”

Other measures are also being considered, including one that would double the punishment for certain crimes if they are committed in one of the 25 enclaves. Another would impose a four-year prison sentence on immigrant parents who force their children to make extended trips to their country of origin.

Justice Minister Soren Pape Poulsen told the Times these measures are not anti-Muslim.

“That’s nonsense and rubbish,” Poulsen said. “To me this is about, no matter who lives in these areas and who they believe in, they have to profess to the values required to have a good life in Denmark.”

Queen Margrethe said the same thing in her autobiography a few years ago when she claimed that Danes (herself included) had been “lazy” about making sure the new people became full-fledged Danes.

The rest is of that report is here.

And the good news keeps on coming…of course, the B says that when this crackdown comes in Denmark and the immigrants realize government is serious, they’ll all flee to Germany and Sweden. Places where you don’t have to work so hard.

The Poor Are Always With Us…

Our Israeli correspondent MC sends these thoughts on the cultural (and moral) foundations of wealth-creation.

The poor are always with us…

…But it is the arrogant who are the real enemy

by MC

Most Islamic countries are poor. They are poor because their religion is a religion of poverty, based as it is on a system where every nuance of a person’s life is dictated by somebody else, thus imprisoning a person’s free will. Even Saudi Arabia with all its wealth in the cities has a real problem with poverty outside the cities.

Most communist countries are riddled with poverty, too. Communism does not encourage wealth-creation except as graft and exploitation amongst its elites. Communism, too, imprisons free will.

Innovation is a prime product of free will, and it is the ability to innovate that generates wealth and civilization. Countries can create their own essences of civilization and export them, others can be gross importers of civilization if, and only if, they have the ability to buy into civilization, otherwise they too are poor and backwards.

Gaza, for example, buys into limited civilization by exporting and exploiting a victimhood culture which plays on the heartstrings of the West to such an extent that the West then exports the bounty of its own civilization to expiate a ‘guilt’ that it perceives when duped by the illusions of abject poverty and victimhood portrayed by the media’s white-guilt propaganda.

But guilt money does not relieve the cause of any of the poverty, especially when the cause of that poverty is Islam or socialism.

The Gulf states have oil. So do the USA and Russia, but the Gulf stuff is cheap and plentiful. So Islam has a rich uncle who can buy influence. Saudi Arabia is like a spider sitting at the centre of a web of intrigue: Islamic intrigue, the intrigue of the wealthy barbarian.

If the West has a vulnerability, it is its denial of its own culture; its denial that the Judeo-Christian basis of the West is superior because it allows the individual the free will to innovate. When one denies the cultural basis of the West’s success, one becomes vulnerable to having one’s behaviour coerced, and in the case in question, coerced by bribery. Saudi Arabia has found that it can use its oil revenue to buy a place in the West’s cultural sunshine. Not only that, it can use its wealth to have the civilization upon which it depends slaughtered as unbelievers — as Islam demands.

Western cultural nuances are ubiquitous across the world, and many have adopted the products of Western culture: phones, bicycles, televisions, tee-shirts, shoes, cars, buses; the list is endless. This is amazing flattery if, we would just be humble enough to stop and think about it. No other culture has contributed anything close to it.

But Marxism has effectively destroyed Christianity. When one can see a Pope actively working a communist manifesto, then one must assume that Christianity is in its death throes. Whether or not the revolutionary theology that the current Pope has brought with him from South America is KGB-inspired is difficult to determine, and the truth may only come out when it is ancient history.

The Cultural Significance of the BurkaBag

Thus, your early access…it’s only four minutes long, not enough to dissuade me from watching. Besides, there is something about a French woman speaking English; she brings a certain je ne sais quoi to the conversation, non?

The speaker, Céline Pina, outlines the choices of costume facing Islamic women in the West. In other words, choices that wouldn’t confront them had their families stayed in their country of origin. For these bagged women, they might as well have not bothered traveling westward.

Twelve Characters Searching for Character

JLH weighs in on the Culture Wars, particularly as they pertain to the leftist hysteria about Donald Trump.

Twelve Characters Searching for Character

by JLH

Twelve familiar fictional figures speak out on recent comments by their even better-known flesh-and-blood portrayers. They claim parity with other fictional narratives like the (fake) news media, and therefore an equal right to speak about Trump Derangement Syndrome — in this case, some recent comments on Donald Trump by their real-life personas. Alphabetically by (first) name.

*   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *

BARBARELLA (From the film of the same name) to her real life persona: Hi, remember me? I’m the galactic secret agent who went looking for the inventor of a new weapon, to prevent his passing it on to some malign force. I sort of bumbled from one place to another, and at the end of each adventure, I found a new way to be sexually stimulated. The climax came (pardon the double-entendre) when the villain trapped me in his notorious love machine, from which no woman had emerged alive. Fortunately, my superior sexual stamina outlasted the machine, which was destroyed in the process. So stop worrying about things you don’t understand, Jane, and go back to being your true self — air-headed and oversexed.

(Jane Fonda said, “I won’t call President Donald Trump by his name. I call him the predator-in-chief.”)

*   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *

CONRAD BREAN: You’ve played a lot of parts, Bob, but none was quite so prescient as my character in WAG THE DOG. The film was hardly over, when Clinton demonstrated its principle by blowing up a donkey and some tents in Afghanistan. And now the pièce de resistance — can you be as wrong this time as you were right the first time?

(Robert DeNiro said: “He’s so blatantly stupid. He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con — a b******t artist. A mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming society, doesn’t pay his taxes. He’s an idiot.”

Later, taking a cue from Jennifer Lawrence and waxing eloquent at the Tony Awards : “F*** Trump!”)

*   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *

DAVE BOYLE: Hi Tim. Remember me, from MYSTIC RIVER? People who believed rumor and innuendo decided I was evil, so I had to die. It’s painful to see you so sucked in by propaganda that you make the same kind of far-fetched accusation just to assuage your bruised leftist soul. You remind me of my former friends!

(Tim Robbins: “It occurred to me the other day that we are living through a Marty McFly moment. [The film] was set in the 1980s and, thanks to advances in technology, a DeLorean car could travel through time and brought our lead character Marty McFly back to the 1950s. What he found … wasn’t a romantic, nostalgic time but an Oedipal nightmare. A time of bullying, a time of intolerance and ignorance.”)

*   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *

HELEN (SISTER) to her real-life persona, Susan Sarandon: Hello. I am the empathetic nun in DEAD MAN WALKING who illuminated the last days and hours of a man condemned for terrible crimes. My deeply human understanding caused me to experience not only the torment of the concerned man, but also the wretchedness of his victims’ families.

I’m sure my soulmate, JANET WEISS, of the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, would also be deeply shocked at the contempt and venom you display in your comment. Come back to us!

(Susan Sarandon said: “He reminds me of a drunk uncle at a wedding, who gets up and starts talking and just loves the crowd and just goes on and on and on and says whatever he can to get a reaction. He’s like a figure from a Kurt Vonnegut novel; I can’t even address him seriously.”)

*   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *   *

HELLBOY (Of the popular HELLBOY films) Ron, you’ve played some pretty dicey characters. but I like think I’m one of the good guys. Whatever else you can say about me, I am not petty. My mistakes are big, and my successes even bigger. ‘Peeing in somebody’s food’?! Grow up, Ron!

Horst Seehofer and Angela Merkel Went Eyeball to Eyeball — And Mutti Blinked

The following report by Egri Nök was published earlier today at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

Angela Merkel on her way to a crisis meeting this morning

Germany: Agreement Between Merkel and Seehofer

by Egri Nök

This agreement below between Angela Merkel and Horst Seehofer was handed to the press moments ago and tweeted out by the CSU MP Dorothee Bär.

Original translation:

In order to better regulate, control and prevent secondary migration, we come to this agreement:

1.   We agree to a new border regime at the German-Austrian border, which ensures that asylum seekers whose asylum procedures are the responsibility of other EU countries, will be refused entry.
2.   To do so, we will establish transit centres, from which the asylum seekers will be directly sent back to the responsible countries (refusing entry on the basis of the legal implication of non-entry). We do not want to act in an uncoordinated fashion, but come to administrative agreements, or establish communication, with the countries concerned.
3.   In those cases where countries refuse administrative agreements, the rejection at the German-Austrian border will be on the basis of an agreement with the Republic of Austria.

The original document as it was handed out to the press

Merkel’s part in this agreement is one single sentence: “We do not want to act in an uncoordinated fashion, but come to administrative agreements, or establish communication, with the countries concerned.” This allows her to save face, while still conceding to Seehofer.

The true issue at the core of this was whether Germany has got sovereign national borders and can refuse people entry. Merkel, who ideally would like for Germany to dissolve into a supranational, non-democratic EU superstate, had once again denied national sovereignty two weeks ago (“EU law should always have priority over German law”, on “Anne Will” talk show on Sunday, June 10), which sparked the crisis between her and the new conservative Interior Minister Seehofer. The media onslaught that ensued against Seehofer was so strong that nobody really expected him to come out of this alive.

This is an important day in the fight by Germans for their right to national self-determination, and to even exist as a nation.

The End Times of Albion: Hirsch + Hirsch and others — BAME Racism Echoing Through Feminist Megaphones

Hirsch + Hirsch and others — BAME Racism Echoing Through Feminist Megaphones

The End Times of Albion, Part 7A

by Seneca III

Black, Asian* and Minority Ethnic racism is endemic in the UK. It surfaces in all private and public spheres of activity in many different guises and to a far greater extent than does white racism despite the latter demographic’s constituting a far greater proportion of the population as a whole.

Apart from the playing of the race card at every opportunity and despite the relentless implementation of ‘affirmative action’, it is particularly prevalent in the professions and the public services where, indeed, it is virtually mandatory, because it functions as a point-scoring, virtue-signaling exercise for the powers that be.

It incarnates most publicly as insular racist organisations within the Police and Legal spheres. Notable examples are:

  • The National Black Police Association (NBPA) is a lobby group for the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) staff of the UK police forces. Founded in September 1994, it claims to seek to “…improve their working environment, to enhance racial harmony and the quality of service to all communities of the United Kingdom”. It may well do the former through preferential advancement and appointment for its members, but it certainly does not ‘enhance racial harmony’ or the ‘quality of service’ nor encourage integration. In fact it does the exact opposite. As many people have pointed out in anger that were there to be a ‘White and Long-Heritage British Police Association’, the multiculti cries of RACIST!, RACIST!, RACIST! outrage would be of epic proportions.
  • Coming in next from stage left during the same period, 1993-1995, was The Association of Muslim Lawyers. It became active in 1993 and was officially launched in 1995. Its membership and influence have grown steadily ever since. From its website: “The various talks, seminars, conferences and careers workshops organized by AML since its inception have helped bring Muslim lawyers together — both professionally and socially. They have also assisted lawyers not only to provide invaluable advice and assistance to the Muslim community, but also society as a whole.” Hmm. “…to provide invaluable advice and assistance to the Muslim community, but also society as a whole.”?

Yeah, OK. I may be gullible but even I won’t venture beyond the envelope of credulity. Tell me, BAMEs, what’s wrong with the Law Society, which represents lawyers ‘as a whole’, as does the Police Federation, which represents all rank-and-file police officers likewise?

In case it hadn’t occurred to you, forming your own closed, ethnically exclusive organisations is the antithesis of integration and assimilation, and as such it obviously cannot thus benefit ‘society as whole’, so what precisely is your agenda here?

Considered answers from the Religion of Peace are most welcome provided they are not delivered in a ticking black backpack left on my doorstep. Thank you.

Finally, BAME racism reaches its crescendo in academia and across whole swaths of other established institutions and the media where its endless vomitus fouls every utterance and muddies the waters to such an extent that that rational dialectic is no longer possible — as it is intended to be so on pain of the disestablishment of any who would care to present an alternative perspective or analysis.

[Note: Black residents constituted around 3% of the United Kingdom’s population, according to the 2011 census, although that will have no doubt increased significantly during the intervening seven years: white 87.2%, black/African/Caribbean/black British 3%, Asian/Asian British: Indian 2.3%, Asian/Asian British: Pakistani 1.9%, mixed 2%, other 3.7% (2011 est.)

Hence this garbage is being peddled solely based upon the melanin density of a person’s skin and thus, ultimately, it is racist anti-white propaganda and socio-political engineering… yet again.

Mind you, if you look closely at the commercial/retail advertising world or crime reports/statistics one would have to conclude that the UK demographic is at least 40% variably tinted.]

Two brief, recent examples of its pernicious effect, one resulting from ‘affirmative action’, for want of a rational explanation, and one, inevitably, from that Hallowed Hall on the East River follow, but we should take heart and bear in mind that all shibboleths crash to earth eventually:

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
”My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

(Percy Bysshe Shelley, 1792-1822)

Shibboleth crash one

Recently an Ex-Metropolitan Police poster girl, Carol Howard, crying racism and discrimination, lost all 33 claims after a tribunal heard she complained of prejudice whenever she was unhappy at work.

Quod erat demonstrandum; the judgement of the Tribunal was damning:

German Government Crisis: Seehofer Suggests Resignation

The following report by Egri Nök was published earlier today at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

German Government Crisis: Seehofer Suggests Resignation

by Egri Nök

Angela Merkel’s challenger Horst Seehofer has announced his resignation from his offices as German Interior Minster and head of the CSU, if no consensus can be reached over his demand to turn away illegal migrants at the border — a demand Merkel staunchly rejects.

[Photo caption (not shown): Sunday’s CSU board meeting in Munich, photo: private/Facebook]

On June 14, Merkel had asked Seehofer give her time to negotiate “European solutions” “with the same effect [as turning away illegal migrants at the border]” at this week’s European Summit (June 26.-27.).

The summit’s results were then presented to the German public as a full success; Merkel’s “European solution” was found; all countries had made concessions to Angela Merkel. No one in the German sphere seemed to realize that the negotiations were in fact a win for the countries who opposed migration (see Orban Wins At EU Summit: No One Takes Migrants They Don’t Want). Only yesterday, (Saturday June 30), when Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland sent out memoranda refuting that they had made any resolutions with Merkel, the German public slowly began to understand that they had been fooled.

Today’s CSU board meeting lasted until late in the night. Attendees passed details to the tabloid Bild: “Seehofer unmistakably made clear what he thought of Merkel’s negotiation results in Brussels: nothing.” He called the prior evening’s discussion with Merkel on the matter “pointless and ineffective”.

In the meantime, after Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic, Greece’s Yanis Varoufakis came out in strong terms about Angela Merkel’s “European Solutions”:

A Spanish Newspaper Whitewashes the Jihad

Pampasnasturtium has translated an item that was published earlier this year in the Spanish MSM. He includes this brief introduction:

In this article from last March you can see the level of whitewashing of The Religion of Pieces in the local Spanish media. The online version from La Vanguardia* is behind a paywall, so I had to scan it.

It was an sidebar for a bigger “report” (that is, a smear/opinion masquerading as information) that I chucked away afterwards. I still can’t believe they speak in such ennobling terms about those bloodthirsty Morlocks. It’s amazing that this disgusting rag fans the flames of misandry daily via inflated #MeToo pieces, etc., yet these mohammedans were segregating the sexes and all they were was “scrupulous”…

Savages, yeah, but NOBLE savages!

The translated sidebar:

Jihadists wouldn’t allow others to pay for their food

At the ‘The Palms’ restaurant, on a very busy street of East Mosul, they fill your table with food. Here’s where jihadists used to stuff themselves up during good times. A waiter explains they were formal people; they used to dress Afghan-style (ankle-long pants) and they were scrupulous: women had to eat on the upper floor, and during prayer times they commanded that the place should close. Coca-Cola — which is served as a courtesy, together with water, even though the customer may not ask for it — was forbidden and its Iraqi version substituted. They never allowed others to pay for their food, and they would pay religiously (translator note: in Spanish, that would be conscientiously) in Iraqi dinar or dollars, but no one ever saw the legendary Caliphate coins, or those of 21 carats or silver, supposedly minted in mid-2016. A single golden dinar would have been enough for a whole division to eat.

*   La Vanguardia is what not so long ago used to pass for a conservative rag (it is now failing, as is most of the dead-tree press, so it has been permanently “bought” by the EU to churn out its propaganda).
