Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/28/2017

During a Mardi Gras parade in the town of Gulf Shores, Alabama, a car suddenly accelerated into the members of a school band that were marching in front of it, injuring at least eleven people. The reasons for the sudden acceleration are not clear, but local officials believe the incident was nothing more than a “horrific accident”.

In other news, in response to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s remarks that his administration had “done nothing”, President Donald Trump averred that Ms. Pelosi was “incompetent”.

There’s Lebensraum for Everyone in Modern Multicultural Germany

The following video is in Merkelspeak, so I’ll provide a précis of what the chancellor said:

If you can make it across the border into Germany and find a place to crash, then you’re living in Germany, and that makes you a German — forever. No one can take that from you. You’re as German now as Bismarck or Goethe.

Congratulations! You’ve just joined Das Volk!

Another Day, Another Culture-Enriching Rape

It’s horrible to contemplate, but stories like this one have become commonplace, almost humdrum, in today’s Germany and Austria.

One thing to note about this Austrian report, however: the reporter points out how many sexual attacks are being committed by Afghan migrants, and that the number is increasing.

Many thanks to Nash Montana for translating this article from Kronen Zeitung:

Police free woman from the apartment of a sexual predator

“Help, call the police!” a rape victim yelled out of the bathroom window from an apartment in Linz-Ebelsberg. An Afghan had tricked the lightly mentally disabled woman into following him into his apartment, and then abused her. The woman managed to flee to the bathroom, locked herself inside and called the police.

The Afghan had tricked his future victim, a mentally disabled woman from Linz, into following him to his apartment. Together they rode the elevator up to the migrant’s apartment, where the suspect then raped the woman in the living room.

She called on passersby for help

When the Afghan let go of her, she was able to grab her things, flee to the bathroom, and lock herself inside. Using her cell phone she dialed the emergency number, while her abuser tried to break down the door. “I don’t know where I am,” the shocked victim said on the phone. The officer had a life-saving idea: “Go to the window and call for help!”

The Tunisian Connection

Two Tunisians living in Italy have been deported due to their connections with the mujahid who massacred twelve people last December by driving his truck into a crowded Christmas market in Berlin.

Many thanks to FouseSquawk for translating this article from La Stampa:

Two Tunisians linked to Berlin attacker deported from Italy.

Two Tunisians were expelled (deported) today “for reasons of state security”. One of the two, a 47-year-old without fixed address, is the registered owner of a telephone number found among contacts of the attacker of the Berlin Christmas market, Anis Amri, in June 2015 when the latter was guest of a family of a co-national currently detained in the prison of Velletri for common crimes.

This raises to 147 the number of deported subjects involved in the circle of religious extremism deported from the border under guard from January 2015 to today. Of these, 15 (have been expelled) in 2017.

The other deportee is a 34-year-old identified by the intelligence services by monitoring the Islamic community in the province of Perugia, of which a radical element was part of an association of Tunisian (drug) dealers operating in the chief city of Umbria, connected to other co-nationals already expelled from the national territory for reasons of state security on 14 May 2015. Of the reported investigative cases divulged, in addition, the Tunisian expelled today, besides having shown his sympathy for Daesh (ISIS) during his residence in Lucca, would not have excluded the possibility he that he might go to Syria.

Traced to Palermo last 14 February he was found to be in (Italy) illegally, and was detained in the center of Caltanissetta. Today [February 25] he was repatriated from the border in the area of Palermo on a direct flight to Tunis.

As for the 44-year-old, as a result of the investigation, he was detained in the center of Caltanissetta awaiting deportation, which occurred today at the coastal border of Palermo via a boat that departed for Tunis.

The Sweden Picture Collapses Like a House of Cards

Below is an excerpt from Sunday’s post by Lars Bern on his blog, as translated by Da Capo in the comments (edited for clarity):

[…]

The Sweden picture collapses like a house of cards.

Our hypocrisy will be thrown back in our faces. The world will see that we are nothing more than a pitiful segregated class society, where immigrants are our new underclass. We may now expect that every immigrant murder, rape, arson and other serious crimes will get much attention in the United States and the rest of the world.

I see today that a leading US news channel has a headline about the recent fire in an asylum accommodation — such things did not get international attention a week ago. Our time in the international spotlight as a good example is over!

The incident is extremely serious for a small country with a strong dependence on the outside world, and with a number of foreign shareholders in Swedish companies. When it comes to deciding on investments and initiatives, obviously many investors will tighten their ears and think both once and twice about whether it’s so smart to invest in a dysfunctional society such as Sweden. Competent people we want to attract to our companies will be reluctant to accept. Tourists will ask whether it is wise to travel to a country with a rising crime rate and an undermanned police force. I know many substantial taxpayers who today are considering emigration. A destroyed image of Sweden will harm the country in a wide range of areas.

Considering purely economic problems, it should be added that the Swedish political elite now have made themselves enemies of the president of the world’s most powerful country and most important economy. They were previously adversaries to the management of our closest eastern superpower. We also see how the few friends they have left among European leaders are about to be replaced, even among the anti-globalists. Soon the Swedish political elite, with its blind faith in globalism, will stand alone in a hard world with only Palestinian terrorists as friends. Sweden’s voice in the world has been weakened at all levels, and the exposed Swedish people risk having to pay a high price.

Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/27/2017

Carnival floats in Germany traditionally mock political figures, and this year was no exception. Donald Trump was the most prominent example in the parades, and the new U.S. president was mocked mercilessly (and sometimes bawdily).

Meanwhile, a fashion designer in Italy just introduced new outfits featuring pussyhats in a fashion show in Milan.

In other news, a German hostage was beheaded by Islamic terrorists in the Philippines.

Defending A Blasphemer in Denmark

Last month we reported on a Danish journalist who was chased out of the culturally enriched Copenhagen neighborhood of Nørrebro by Antifa activists, who threw bottles at him and screamed that he was a “Nazi”.

Fast forward to last week. As you may recall from the news feed, a man in Denmark became the first person charged under the country’s blasphemy law for burning a Koran and posting the video of it on Facebook. As it happens, the blasphemer’s lawyer is Rasmus Paladan, the very same man (who is both a lawyer and a journalist) who was chased out of Nørrebro in January.

Vlad Tepes interviewed Mr. Paladan a few days ago, just after he was engaged to defend the blasphemer who insulted Islam:

Below are excerpts from two articles about the blasphemy case. First, from Breitbart:

Man Charged With Blasphemy for Burning Quran in Denmark

A man who burned the Islamic holy book in his backyard has been charged with blasphemy, in a move his lawyer speculates was driven by fear of Muslim extremists. The attempted prosecution is the first of its kind in nearly 50 years.

The 42-year-old man from Jutland uploaded video footage of a Quran being lit on fire, which he posted to a Facebook group called ‘Yes to freedom — no to Islam’ in December last year.

“It is the prosecution’s view that circumstances involving the burning of holy books such as the Bible and the Quran can, in certain cases, be a violation of the blasphemy clause, which covers public scorn or mockery of religion,” said chief prosecutor Jan Reckendorff in a statement.

“It is our opinion that the circumstances of this case mean it should be prosecuted so the courts now have an opportunity to take a position on the matter.”

The defendant’s lawyer, Rasmus Paludan, said that his client had burned the Quran in self-defense, asserting that the Islamic holy book “contains passages on how Mohammed’s followers must kill the infidel, i.e. the Danes”.

“Therefore, it’s an act of self-defense to burn a book that in such a way incites war and violence,” he told the New York Times.

Noting that it’s “legal to burn a Bible in Denmark”, highlighting how in 1997 a Danish artist set fire to and burned a copy of the Bible on state television in Denmark but was not charged, Mr Paludan said he is “surprised that it would be guilty to burn the Quran.”

“The fear of Islam and Muslims may be far greater now, and the prosecution service may be a lot more apprehensive of Islam and its followers,” he added, speculating on the prosecutor’s decision to bring charges in this case.

And from The Local:

Antifas Greet Marine Le Pen in Nantes

A planned visit to Nantes by Marine Le Pen — the leader of the Front National, and the front-runner in this year’s French presidential election — caused “spontaneous” rioting in the city by Antifa and related “anti-fascist” groups. A substantial deployment of well-armed police was required to restore order.

The Mayor of Vienna Neustadt is alarmed and demands immediate help from the Education Ministry

The city of Vienna Neustadt is facing an educational and political mess. A cry for help from the mayor Klaus Schneeberger (ÖVP) towards the Education ministry shows the dramatic situation. For the first time there is a preschool class (the Otto Glöckel-School) where not a single child speaks German as his mother tongue. The average of children with a foreign native language in preschool classes is already at an alarming 80.33%, says Schneeberger.

With a migration rate of about 23% the largest school and kindergarten city of Lower Austria tops the list for all of Austria. This development is especially mirrored in the educational institutions.

The Family That Rapes Together

The following video report features two lawyers who are representing a group of Iraqi perps at a rape trial in Vienna. It’s a true story, but it sounds like some kind of dark dystopian satire: the nine alleged rapists are from the same extended family. An American family would go out for a ball game and a brew. An Iraqi family goes out for a gang rape.

Here’s a note from PolitiksTube, which posted the original video:

Nine Iraqis brutally raped a 28-year-old German woman, took pictures of the victim, and afterwards dumped her at a bus station. Nine Iraqis have been facing the court since last Tuesday in Vienna. But even with a judgment that includes prison and revocation of asylum status, the offenders will most likely not be deported back to where they come from, because the death penalty has been activated again since 2004 in Iraq. Also, the Iraqis lie about the rape, they claim it was all initiated by the woman.

Who would have thought that it isn’t a good idea for a drunk woman to go home with nine (!!!) Iraqis? And certainly the men were inebriated as well, and therefore they either can’t remember, or they have the standard excuse: The woman did it of her own free will, quasi. If these rapists were deported back home to Iraq, they would receive the penalty they deserve.
