Albanian Jihad Recruiters Convicted and Sentenced

The following account is based on an Albanian news report about a trial that took place earlier this month. Nine defendants were charged with crimes related to the recruiting of mujahideen in Albania, some of whom were dispatched to Syria to fight in the jihad.

Many thanks to Dr. Ilia Toli for providing this summary of the video report:

A total of 152 years in jail for the defendants accused of recruiting fighters for Syria. This was the request of the public prosecutor for the nine defendants in the Court of Grave Crimes, where the final conclusions of the investigation were read.

The defendants are accused for the recruitment of persons for the commitments of crimes with terroristic intentions, financing of terrorism and incitement of hate or discord. The most severe sentence requested was twenty years in prison, requested by the prosecutor for three defendants, the imams Genci Balla, Gerti Pasha and Bujar Hysa, each of whom, according to the prosecution, had played the role of organizer in this criminal activity.

For the other defendants, whom the prosecution described as playing the role of collaborators or helpers, the prosecution requested fifteen years in jail, except for the defendant Zeqir Ymeri, for whom seventeen years was requested, also accused of carrying weapons without a permit.

The prosecution qualified the accusations against the defendants “of high social danger”, adding that they must be kept in a high-security prison. The trial procedure was interrupted several times because of the tensions during the court session. The defendants accused the prosecution of being fraudulent. One of them, Fadil Myslimani, very well known for strong declarations, said that it was not a crime to do what they did, but it was jihad.

Also the defense lawyers spoke outside of the session against the request of the prosecution. “It is an attempt of the prosecution to legitimate its own unproven actions.”

The nine defendants were arrested in March 2014. They are accused of being involved in activities that send fighters to Middle East, especially Syria. According to the dossier of the prosecution, there are sufficient facts that the defendants, mainly during 2013, convinced and sent to Syria various Albanian citizens with the intention of uniting them with armed radicals that are active in that area, where some of them have also lost their lives.

Women

Our Israeli correspondent MC takes a hard look at the “gender” front of the current Culture Wars that plague the Western World.

Women
by MC

I suppose the most abhorrent thing about Islam is it treatment of women, and in particular, the obsession with so-called ‘modesty’ which places the woman in a black trash bag to hide her from sight.

Being male, I find women attractive, but my social conditioning demands that I approach women within a fairly strict, culturally-based code of conduct. I come from a family of boys, four of them, and my first contact with girls was at the gentle age of 5 when I went to school and discovered that girls were confusing, but the (female) teachers even more so.

Boys played football and girls played netball. Boys did ‘craft’ and girls did knitting. At that point girls were just creatures who wore different clothes, skipped, and did not like swearing, and there was another big secret: apparently their bottoms were ‘different’.

It was also drummed into me that men were always civil and well-mannered to women and girls, and that they were also responsible for the safety of any of the girls in their immediate vicinity.

The 1950’s were a genteel era to grow up in.

I suppose the first thing I learned about Islam was the idea that women always walked behind their husbands/fathers/brothers. This struck me as a bit pathetic.

One thing I had learned in school was that, on average, there were more clever girls than boys, but that the boys were at the extremes. The girls on the whole could do everything that we boys did, and often, did it better — the girls could run faster and jump higher.

That mothers were women made them a vital part of a boy’s life, and respect for Mum meant that one also had an innate respect for all mums. How could a man demean a woman? It was just not logical.

Of course, as I grew up some of the mysteries were revealed, and new ones became apparent. I had my first crush, which I did not really understand; I found the girl attractive, but she found my older brother more attractive and used me as a conduit to him.

Like Popeye the sailor, I was confused…

My mother had wanted a daughter and got four boys instead. Her mother was one of those people who see boys as princes and girls as house-elves. So Mum overcompensated, an easy thing to do as a parent: she put females on a pedestal, a state not at all conducive to future relationships. My mother had also used the emotional blackmail against us that we were responsible for Dad’s next promotion, and that if we misbehaved, the Navy would get to hear about it and dad would be passed over.

At the time we were in Singapore. It was the “Indonesian confrontation” and Dad was one of the few techies who could make the antiquated gunnery radars work. Dad was gazetted for Lieutenant Commander and went for the mandatory medical — he failed; cancer; he had been exposed to too much radiation. I was 14; I was doing well at school, and had friends for the first time in my life. That life evaporated, Dad hung on for nine months; then I was fatherless.

I think bereaved children get a sort of PTSD, a shock and a fear for the future. because Dad was an officer it was assumed that Mum was educated upper middle class, and that family would ‘support’ her (and us). Wrong — she was a Catholic girl from the council estate, one of a family of twelve children.

So we became ‘poor middle class’, neither one thing nor the other.

Into this mix came the feminist revolution. For me, the first sign had been the 1966 Advanced Party report, which changed ‘Boy Scouts’ from an organization for boys to ‘Scouts’, an organization for budding socialist sissies. Slowly we were feminized, no more the wild almost unsupervised adventures, more and more the idea of fully risk-assessed ‘expeditions’. My treasured ‘Sailing Charge’ was revoked, I had to get an external (government recognized) re-qualification which I could not afford — I was de-qualified at the stroke of a bureaucratic pen. I had been sailing and messing about in boats since I was 10. I could swim well; I could row, sail, navigate and read a chart, but suddenly it all counted for naught.

These were the opening shots of the feminista coup, but we did not recognize that at the time.

FAZ on the Austrian Election: The “Nazi Club” Should Be Put Away

The following article from The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung takes a look at the ramifications of the first round of the Austrian presidential election, which is headed into a run-off.

Many thanks to JLH for the translation:

Rightist, But Not Extremist

by Stephan Löwenstein
April 26, 2016

The FPÖ [Austrian Freedom Party], with its anti-immigration motto “Austria First” and its presidential candidate, has gained favor among the people. Anyway, the charge of populism also applies to the ruling parties SPÖ [Socialist Party of Austria] and ÖVP [Austrian People’s Party].

The first round of the presidential election in Austria was characterized by the dramatic defeat of the ruling parties, the SPÖ and the ÖVP, by two strong candidates running on party autonomy, and by the striking success of the candidate for the rightist FPÖ, Norbert Hofer.

The traditional political camps were plowed under; the new political diversity had an invigorating effect on the campaign. Citizens took part in far greater numbers than before. The second round of voting will be different. Polarization is in the nature of a run-off. The two remaining candidates — Norbert Hofer of the FPÖ and Alexander Van der Bellen of the Greens — will try to form a new group of followers around themselves, at least for this time. Hofer’s banner reads “Austria First” and Van der Bellen’s is “All Democrats”.

Democracy — To Be or Not to Be

Concerned voices at home and abroad, demonstrations “against rightism” and certainly an intensification of reporting strengthen the impression that this is a question of life and death of democracy in Austria.

But is that the case? The first thing that can be determined is that the map after this first round has turned very blue — that is the color of the FPÖ. And yet their candidate has thus far only managed to unite a third of the voters behind himself. And in doing so, thoroughly exhausted the “blue” voter potential. It is still a long way to an absolute majority, and the last meters will be the hardest,

Actually, that is most true for Van der Bellen. First, he must win over all those who do not like the FPÖ. Despite his ‘independent” candidature, the long-time chair of the Greens is not unknown, and will have a harder time than would former judge Irmgard Griss, if she had not ended up behind Van der Bellen. The cards are being shuffled anew. Both players are beginning again.

Caption Contest

Final update: We have a winner.

We all know it was love at first sight. But what was Mädchen Angela thinking the when her heart first throbbed for Recep “Papa Goat” Erdogan?

Take a crack at it, boys and girls. If your caption is chosen, you’ll win an additional 72 black-eyed virgins when you enter Jannah — that is, you’ll be eligible for a full gross! Or 144 young boys, fresh as pearls, if such is your taste.

If you want to make a meme caption instead of words for the thought balloon, that’s fine — I’ll redo the image with the caption instead of the balloon.

Contest entrants must be 12 years of age or older. No unveiled women are allowed to participate. Employees of the OIC, ISNA, CAIR or any Turkish or German embassies are not eligible to enter.

BTW — the only thing I could think of to put in that balloon was a bunch of red hearts and the words “I want to be his Aisha!”

Note: the original photo had Recep and Angela in exactly those poses. Only the background has been modified.

Update: I just realized that we’re probably going to get a lot of entries, but there will be only one winner (or maybe a winner and a runner-up). So if you want a copy of the image without the balloon, so that you can make your own caption for it, just drop me an email at gatesofvienna (at) chromatism (dot) net, and I’ll send you a PNG file.

“Easy Meat”: Vicious, Genocidal, and an Invitation to Vigilante Revenge

The following video by Gavin Boby is a sequel to his earlier discussion about sex slavery in the UK. This time he wants his audience to think about why the “grooming” scandals — which were actually instances of underage sex slavery — are important, and why everyone should read Easy Meat: Inside the British Grooming Gang Scandal by Peter McLoughlin:

1.   The crimes are vicious;
2.   They constitute acts of genocide, under the UN definition, against the non-Muslim native population; and
3.   They invite violent lawlessness against the perpetrators, a vigilante response from relatives of the victims who see in so many cases that justice has not been done.

Viktor Orbán: “Islamization is Banned by the Constitution in Hungary”

When Hungary implemented its new constitution five years ago, the European Union made its displeasure felt. It did not go so far as to impose sanctions against Hungary — as it did briefly in 2000 against Austria after Jörg Haider formed a coalition government — but it put pressure on the government of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to walk it back, which Mr. Orbán and his party Fidesz successfully resisted.

There wasn’t really anything specifically wrong with the new constitution — it was just that it contained too much nationalism, too much Christianity, and above all, too much talk about sovereignty. The EU, as we all know, is not terribly fond of national sovereignty.

Last week Hungary held a ceremonial observance of the fifth anniversary of the promulgation of the Fundamental Law, i.e. the new constitution. The video below shows Prime Minister Orbán’s speech for the occasion before the Hungarian Parliament.

Many thanks to Dzsihádfigyelo for the translation and timing, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

ESW in Dallas: “Europe is Careening Over the Multicultural Cliff”

Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff has just returned to Austria after an extended visit to the United States, where she was invited to speak by various anti-Islamization groups in different cities.

On April 21 Elisabeth spoke in Dallas, Texas at an event sponsored by the Dallas chapter of ACT! For America. She was introduced at the event by Lt. Col. (ret.) Allen West. Below is the prepared text for her speech.

(L-R) Lt. Col. (ret.) Allen West, Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, Rabbi Jon Hausman, Dallas, April 21 2016

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you for inviting me to speak to ACT! for America here in Dallas, Texas. These are perilous times we are living in. Advocates for freedom on both sides of the Atlantic need to stand together!

For the past nine months Austria and the rest of Western Europe have undergone a profound transformation, one that will inevitably change the face of Europe permanently. I refer, of course, to the migration crisis, which began in earnest last summer, and is continuing as I speak to you. As the weather warms up and spring gives way to summer, we may expect the crisis to intensify even further. More than a million immigrants arrived in Austria and Germany via the “Balkan route” last year, and at least as many are expected to come this year — probably significantly more.

These migrants are generally referred to by our political leaders and the media as “refugees”, but this is hardly the case. Not only are most of them from countries where there is no war to flee from, but they are also overwhelmingly young Muslim men, of fighting age. In other words, the current crisis is actually an instance of Islamic hijra, or migration into infidel lands to advance the cause of Islam. The hijra goes hand in hand with jihad — once enough Muslim migrants have settled in the target country, violent jihad can begin.

It should be quite clear by now that the jihad phase has already begun in Western Europe. The most recent instances were the massacres in Paris and Brussels, which were acts of jihad carried out by Muslims. Some of the terrorists were in fact “refugees” who had pretended to be “Syrian” and came in with the migrant wave.

And all of them were fighting jihad in the way of Allah, as instructed by the Koran.

I could take up my entire time slot tonight talking about the European migration crisis, and never do more than scratch the surface. However, I’d like to discuss one aspect of the crisis that is very important: the manipulation by the mainstream media of the news about the migrants.

A single example from a beach in Turkey will help give you an idea of what is going on. The image that sparked Western interest in the crisis was the widely-publicized photograph of the dead toddler on the beach in Turkey. That photo is an example of media manipulation. Not about the fact of the baby’s death, but what was done with his little body once he was dead. There is now ample evidence that the body was moved and arranged in place so that the most heart-wrenching photo could be taken. Furthermore, the father of the child was not a poor helpless refugee trying to escape to freedom, but an accomplice of the people smugglers who piloted the boat, who irresponsibly brought his family with him.

For journalists working for Der Spiegel or Le Figaro or The Guardian or CNN, the media narrative is more important than the truth. And the media narrative was (and is) that poor innocent refugees are drowning because they are left to die by evil Europeans.

Those facts about the incident never made it into public consciousness. Not like the image of the pitiful corpse at the edge of the waves — that’s the kind of story that the Western media love to dish out, especially when it promotes the media narrative. It’s also the kind of story that Western audiences love to lap up — it’s what Gates of Vienna, the website I’m associated with, calls “Dead Baby Porn”.

Dead Baby Porn tugs the heartstrings of well-meaning Westerners. It reinforces all their presuppositions about current events. It gives them a vicarious frisson about the poor, suffering child. And, in their response, it makes them feel morally superior when they join the clamor to open their country’s borders to the unfortunate “refugees”.

The media feed the public a steady stream of photos and videos that feature pitiful migrant women and children. We see them looking through the razor wire towards “freedom”, weeping, cooking their food over a campfire, and being pushed back by border guards. Yet these images are so misleading that they constitute disinformation.

The ugly fact is that the overwhelming majority of the “refugees” are healthy young men who either have no wives and children, or left them behind to seize the opportunity for hijra into Europe. They come from Afghanistan, Morocco, Eritrea, and Pakistan, but they acquire forged or stolen Syrian passports so that they become “Syrian”, and thus qualify for VIP status in the flood of refugees.

We are being deliberately manipulated. The Western public is being manipulated into supporting the migration of fighting-age Muslim men into Europe. They are being manipulated into joining the crowd of starry-eyed people holding up “Welcome Refugees” signs in European train stations. And they are being manipulated into paying for all of it through their donations to various NGOs whose mission is to aid the “refugees”.

Yet their donations do not cover the entire cost. It’s a very expensive proposition to send refugees from Anatolia to the Greek islands, and then through Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria to Germany. It’s not just the payment to the people-smugglers who take them across a few miles of the Aegean and dump them just off the beach on Lesbos, although that is expensive enough. From there they are carried by ferry to the mainland, housed, clothed, and fed. When they continue their journey, they ride on buses and trains almost the entire distance — they walk only a few hundred yards to cross each border, getting out of a bus in one country and boarding another one in the next.

This is yet another way in which you, the Western public, are being manipulated by the media. All those photos and videos of endless columns of refugees walking along dusty roads carrying their children and pathetic belongings — those are not representative of the migrants’ journey. A typical shot would show hundreds of young men sitting on buses with air conditioning and upholstered seats. But you don’t see many of those, do you?

German Dissidents Outsource Their Dissent to Switzerland

Dissent against the multicultural orthodoxy of Chancellor Angela Merkel and the German political establishment is being increasingly suppressed, so much so that a group of German dissidents was forced to publish an ad in a Swiss newspaper, since almost no German paper would accept it.

The following article from Berlin Journal was published earlier at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form. Many thanks to Egri Nök for the translation.

Michael Müller — April 26 2016

Citizens place advertisement against Merkel in Switzerland

Page 2 of the Neue Züricher Zeitung on Monday shows a half-page advertisement with the title “Merkel still cheating. How long will this continue?” The authors criticise Merkel sharply. The German chancellor is portrayed as a smiling shell-game player

[Translator’s note: This type of play is illegal in Germany].

The advertisement in the Swiss daily cost more than 16,000 Swiss francs [$16,000].

It is not aimed at a Swiss audience, but a German one. The NZZ is widely read in Germany, too. The text of the ad obviously aims at German citizens:

Merkel cheats on!

For how long?

This is what the scam looks like:

With the EU-Turkey Treaty, Chancellor Merkel tries to convince us that she has got mass immigration into Germany under control. But the facts show: the Turkey Treaty is a sleight of hand.

1.   For every illegal Syrian refugee who is sent back from the EU to Turkey, a recognized Syrian refugee can enter the EU and therefore Germany, as most EU countries do not accept unlimited quantities of refugees. In other words: the illegal migration is rechristened into a legal migration —mass immigration into Germany remains consistently high.
2.   For this rechristening, EU citizens have to pay €20 million per month!
3.   As a “thank you” for taking them back, Turkey put the EU over a barrel and achieved visa freedom for Turkish citizens at the end of this year, at the latest.

More than 74 million Turks can come to Germany without any visa at all. The consequences? Bavarian Minister of Finance Söder warns of a Kurdish mass immigration, and the renowned criminologist Christian Pfeiffer calls this treaty a “monumental stupidity”, because freedom of movement could start “a wave of illegal mass immigration”.

4.   For this “monumental stupidity” the EU taxpayers have to send €6 billion to Turkey until the end 2018, to a country that tramples under its feet human rights, freedom of opinion, and freedom of the press.

Therefore we ask YOU to sign our appeal against the “Merkelian Welcome Culture” at www.rechtundfreiheit.de

The Association for the Preservation of Law and Civil Liberty is behind the advertisement. Why did this German group place their advertisement in a Swiss newspaper?

The media businessman Josef Konrad answers an enquiry by Blick:

Primal Virtue

The title of Dymphna’s post, “Something Vicious and Dishonorable”, made me think of the opposite of Vice, which is Virtue. And Virtue always makes me think of the wisdom of Lao Tzu, as recorded in the The Tao Te Ching two and a half millennia ago. The word “virtue” appears no fewer than sixty-four times in Gia-Fu Feng’s translation of the book.

Below is the 51st chapter of The Tao Te Ching:

All things arise from Tao.
They are nourished by Virtue.
They are formed from matter.
They are shaped by environment.
Thus the ten thousand things all respect Tao and honor Virtue.
Respect of Tao and honor of Virtue are not demanded,
But they are in the nature of things.

Therefore all things arise from Tao.
By Virtue they are nourished,
Developed, cared for,
Sheltered, comforted,
Grown, and protected.
Creating without claiming,
Doing without taking credit,
Guiding without interfering,
This is Primal Virtue.

Something Vicious and Dishonorable

From the pages of “The Intergalactic Source of Truth” (whose byline reads A blog about Islamic intolerance and fanaticism; socialism; communism; government stupidity; and lying weasels everywhere, hopefully couched in vibrant and literate English and foreign words that make us look good.), come further ruminations on my recent post about England’s dirty little secret.

Something vicious and dishonorable.

From a British “skilled manual worker who mostly works in domestic households”:

The intellectual classes strive for justice, equality, multiculturalism, killing the rich, lifting the poor out of poverty and peace on earth with all men. But God forbid a white working class male has a different view to them. The red neck [N]ed is a man to be despised. They fight for him yet despise him at the same time.[1]

I knew an interesting man here in the U.S. who observed once that he loved mankind but despised the common man. He later denied he’d said that but he had. Another well-educated young woman of my acquaintance once told me she thought it would be interesting surreptitiously to observe black people from a van parked on the street. She wanted to study them.

Millions of liberals swoon about the rights of this or that oppressed, disadvantaged, under-advantaged, deprived, poor, underprivileged, neglected, overlooked, sidelined, marginalized, or under-funded person who can’t manage life without their help but make damn sure that they return each night to homes that are as free of the presence of such persons as it is humanly possible to be.

Their “concern” is nothing but hypocrisy, for they advocate policies that guarantee desperate and degraded lives for their target group(s) unless the group consists of foreigners, in which case the priority is to grant them special privileges. Foreigners are indeed “more equal” than others. As another commenter observes:

There is a culture of disassociation among the British upper classes (particularly the conservative — so called — Government and the Judiciary) that is dismissive of the reality of Tommy Robinson and the suffering lower-classes — suffering as a result of gung-ho, poorly thought-out policies and absolute refusal to back down, even in the face of incontrovertible evidence of moral, societal and cultural destruction![2]

You see that with Cameron who earlier said he wanted to reduce immigration to the “tens of thousands.” Not zero with decades of evidence of the deleterious effects of third-world immigration, but tens of thousands. (Merkel’s the same way. Stop the invasion? No way. Add Turks to the mix as well!)

The Treason Class purports to wear the mantle of caring and compassion but the actual result down in the streets where millions live is consistent with something vicious and dishonorable. If the characterization seems excessive, bear in mind that if you oppose this class you can expect, like Tommy Robinson, to be persecuted in the criminal courts and to be imprisoned where you’re at the mercy of violent Muslims who try to pour [sugared]* boiling water on you and you do have your teeth knocked out.

* ADDENDUM FROM DYMPHNA: As Tommy reported in his book, the sugar added to boiling water is for the purposes of making scalded skin that much more seriously damaged; the sugar sticks so the burning penetrates further in deeper layers of the dermis. If there is a sufficient amount, it can be a lethal torture. At the very least, the addition of sugar complicates recovery, making burns more difficult to treat and infection more likely. In felon lingo, this mixture is aptly called “napalm”.
