According to the Defense Department, potentially violent encounters in the Persian Gulf between Iranian forces and the US Navy have risen by more than 50% this year compared with last year. In the latest incident, four Iranian gunboats traveling at high speed approached within 300 yards of the destroyer USS Nimitz.

In other news, the Austrian Foreign Minister described German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s handling of the migration crisis as “irresponsible”.

De-Islamize The Netherlands!

The Netherlands will hold a general election in March of next year, and the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV, the party of Geert Wilders) is far ahead of any other party in the polls. Below is a notice sent out today by the PVV outlining the party’s plan for the country.

The Netherlands Ours Again!

Millions of Dutch citizens have simply had enough of the Islamization of our country. Enough of mass immigration and asylum, terror, violence and insecurity.

Here is our plan: instead of financing the entire world and people we don’t want here, we’ll spend the money on ordinary Dutch citizens.

This is what the PVV will do:

1.   De-islamize the Netherlands

  • Zero asylum seekers and no immigrants anymore from Islamic countries: close the borders
  • Withdraw all asylum residence permits which have already been granted for specific periods, close the asylum centers
  • No Islamic headscarves in public functions
  • Prohibition of other Islamic expressions which violate public order
  • Preventive detention of radical Muslims
  • Denaturalization and expulsion of criminals with a dual nationality
  • Jihadists who went to Syria will not be allow to return to the Netherlands
  • Close all mosques and Islamic schools, ban the Koran
2.   The Netherlands independent again. Leave the EU
3.   Direct democracy: a binding referendum, power to the citizens
4.   Completely abolish health care deductibles
5.   Lower housing fees
6.   Retirement age at 65, indexation of supplementary pensions
7.   No public money for development aid, windmills, art, innovation, broadcasting, etc.
8.   Rollback cuts in home care and elderly care, more hands on the bed
9.   A lot of extra money for defense and police
10.   Lower income taxes
11.   Halving of car taxes

Viktor Orbán: We’re Building a New Fence Line on the Southern Border

“We must enhance the Hungarian-Serbian border control, and we will build a new line of fence with the most modern technical equipment,” said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Friday on the Radio Kossuth “180 Minutes” radio show. The interview conducted with the head of the government talked about the quota referendum and the Friday afternoon V4 meeting, and the PM explained why we need a stable Turkey where President Erdogan is still in office.

The PM explained that beside the existing fence we need a more massive defense system, so the new fence will be a “serious project”, which will be capable of stopping more than hundreds of thousands of people. We must prepare for this if the Turks change their policies.

He phrased it this way: ”Today even a bird could not fly into Hungary without permission.” “A border cannot be defended with flowers and stuffed animals. The border must be defended with fences, police, soldiers and weapons!”, said Viktor Orbán.

“It is a problem,” he explained, “that migrants who requested asylum in Hungary and got refused, but ‘human rights aid organizations’ — a.k.a. George Soros’ paid activists — appealed against the decision, have to wait in Hungary, and in the meantime they cannot be locked up. If the migrants were to wait in closed camps until their appeal process finishes, even those few people would not be there for the human smugglers to bring to the West from us,” added the PM.

“Over the longer term the shortage of labor would be handled with demographic family-political solutions,” said Viktor Orbán. “We need more children and stronger families, because if we have more kids then there will be more people to work in Hungary”. This attitude “is not in fashion in Europe”, where they want to use migrants and immigration to solve labor shortages because their horizon on this is short, only a day,” he explained.

Like Father, Like Son

Last week a young “Belgian” made headlines by appearing in a video on the streets of Verviers where he called for Christians to be slaughtered. The 15-year-old’s father is a well-known imam who was already facing deportation. Now it is possible that both father and son may be deported.

So Much for the Pope’s “Interfaith” Outreach

The following brief article describes the Islamic State’s unequivocal response to Pope Francis’ “interfaith” outreach. The Pope waves away the Great Jihad by insisting that ISIS is not really Islamic, since Islam is inherently a peaceful religion. However, when the black-hooded thugs show up at the gates of the Vatican, they will be the mujahideen of the Islamic State or a similar jihad force. These warriors are the sharp end of the Islamic stick, and very religious.

The Islamic State has publicly responded to statements of Pope Francis that the war waged by Islamic terrorists is not religious in nature. The article’s answer to the pontiff is that their only motivation is religious and approved by Allah in the Qur’an.

In highlights of the latest issue of Dabiq — the official propaganda magazine of the Islamic State — the terrorist group especially criticizes the naïveté of Pope Francis, who clings to the belief that Muslims want peace and peaceful coexistence and that Islamic terror acts are motivated by economic reasons. In the article “By the Sword”, the authors categorically state: “This is a divinely-sanctioned war between the Muslim nation and the infidel nations.”…

“Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them”

The article laments that despite the clearly religious nature of their attacks, “many people in the ‘crusaders’ country’ (Western countries)” expressed shock and even disgust because the leadership of the Islamic State “uses religion to justify violence … Indeed, jihad — the spread of the rule of Allah with the sword — is an obligation that we find in the Qur’an, the word of our Lord,” says the magazine. “Shedding the blood of unbelievers is a common obligation. The command is very clear: kill the unbelievers; as Allah says, “kill the disbelievers wherever you find them.”…

The fact is that “even if you (the West) stopped bombing us, throwing us in jail, torturing us, to humiliating and driving you us out of our land, we would continue to hate you, because the main raison of our hatred will not disappear as long as you have not embraced Islam. Even if you had to pay the jizya and live under the authority of Islam in humiliation, we would continue to hate you.”…

An explosion at a sports center in Belgium leveled half the building and buried five people in the rubble. At least one person is thought to have died in the blast. The authorities don’t yet know the cause of the explosion, but they are certain there is no connection to terrorism. As of this writing, there’s no word on whether anyone shouted “Allahu Akhbar”, had a history of mental problems, or was bullied in school. Stay tuned.

In other news, during German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit to Prague, an armed man driving a Mercedes tried to push his way into her motorcade, in a presumed assassination attempt. The man was arrested and is now in police custody.

An intramural battle among culture-enrichers took place recently on the streets of Rotterdam. Kurdish immigrants staged a street protest against the oppression of their ethnic fellows in Turkey. They were confronted with a forceful Turkish counter-protest, and a pitched battle ensued, requiring vigorous police intervention.

“Refugees” Run Roughshod Over Szabadka

The following report from Serbia describes the plight of an ethnic Hungarian town close to the border with Hungary that has been overrun with “refugees”. CrossWare, who translated the article, includes this explanatory note:

Szabadka is now Serbian territory, but most people there are still Hungarian. That is why they have a Hungarian-language website for local news. Hungary lost this area after the First World War.

This city is close to the border crossing where the last skirmish occurred between the Hungarian police and the Muslim invaders.

Migrants are ruining the lives of local people at the bus station in Szabadka

North Bacska for the last couple of years has been under the weight of the continuous migration. The really massive migration already in its second year and heavily impacts multiple cities including Horgos, Magyarkanizsa, or Szabadka where even inside the populated areas, there are multiple places where migrants are always present. One of them is the bus station in Szabadka where, as the last two years have proven, the illegal invaders show no sign of any kind of integration.

The locals are becoming more and more desperate, and they tried every possible local authority, but they only received empty promises, while the migrants have taken over the area and rule there, doing anything they want to do. One of the neighbor of the bus station told to our reporter about the sort of unfortunate conditions that exist in Szabadka.

They drink, steal, destroy everything, and they litter

“Yesterday evening they were drunk again, around 30 people. They were kicking our fence and banging on the walls,” said one of the local citizens. “We call the police, but then they run away, hide in the doorways, behind trees and bushes. The officers do nothing, just look around, and as soon as they leave the area everything continues: noise and destruction. We’ve called the police numerous times but we always get the same answer: they cannot do anything; their hands are tied and the people should be more patient… So we should watch it patiently as they ruin the whole neighborhood.”

We learned that they push the vehicles parked there into the fence, but the hoods of the cars are being crushed because a bunch of them sit on them or put their stuff on the,. They break off mirrors, because no matter how dirty, stinking and unclean they are, they always take extreme care with their hair, and they move the mirrors for combing. Of course they also constantly try to break into cars if they suspect they have some valuables inside.

The locals also told us that the migrants arbitrarily invaded multiple buildings in the area, starting with an empty store, then later continued with an empty house, and it took the police more than a week to move them out.

Its is an everyday occurrence that they sell the food packages they receive from aid organizations; they approach “customers” close to the milk market. They fight and invade private properties regularly in Szabadka:

The young “Frenchman” who stabbed a British woman and a dog to death at a hostel in Queensland appears to have been motivated at least in part by sexual obsession with the victim (the human victim, that is — not sure about the dog), in addition to the jihad aspect implied by “Allahu Akhbar”. If so, it makes this incident very similar to the murder of a Polish woman in a Reutlingen restaurant back in July. Perhaps the killer lusted after her, and fantasized that she was already his property, an infidel sex slave possessed by his right hand. Then, when she popped his testosterone-filled balloon, he went into full jihad mode to avenge his injured honor, just like the perp in Reutlingen.

In other news, a coordinated jihad attack on American University in Kabul killed one person and wounded at least 25 others.

A Filipina Wages Jihad in Brussels

As reported in the news feed on Monday, a woman boarded a bus in Brussels and attacked two passengers with a machete, wounding them both. After leaving the bus she attacked a third victim in a fast-food restaurant. She refused to follow police instructions (presumably “Drop that knife!”) and was shot and wounded.

Early reports gave no details about the woman, but the use of a machete suggested that there may have been an Allahu Akhbar factor in the attack. Later accounts described the woman as an “Asian”. The Belgian media do not usually follow the British protocol of using the code word “Asian” for Pakistanis and Bangladeshis, so it was hard to say for sure which nationality was meant.

When I told Vlad about it, he said: “I’ll bet it was a veiled Muslima from Mindanao in the Philippines.” — that is, where the MILF Islamic insurgency holds sway.

And it turns out he was right: the perp was eventually identified as a Filipina, and as the video of the shooting demonstrates, she was veiled.

Brussels Police Hold Filipina After Bus Stabbing

(Reuters) – Belgian police identified a woman who stabbed and wounded three people on a Brussels bus on Monday as a 52-year-old originally from the Philippines whom they do not believe acted from political motives.

The woman, accused of attempted murder, had yet to be questioned by prosecutors as she was receiving medical attention after being shot by police during the incident on a busy shopping street, spokesman Xavier Dellicour said on Tuesday.

“No motive is being ruled out at this stage but terrorism is not the most likely case,” said Dellicour, whose office is not the one which normally handles terrorism cases in Belgium.

The three people wounded were all released from hospital on Monday. Local media quoted witnesses as saying an argument broke out on the No. 38 bus and the woman pulled out a knife. Police shot her twice after she got off but refused to cooperate.

The woman’s name has not been released.

Ahh! now this is interesting.

Yesterday (23/8/16) a comment came up on the (London) Times on Line following an article by Melanie Phillips entitled “Our weakness makes the Islamists stronger”, and it was receiving a very substantial number of approvals by the normal standards of that predominantly Metropolitan organ.

Inasmuch as I was one of the enthusiastic approvers I bookmarked it for further reference and also copied and pasted its contents to a Word file just in case, as I have long been aware of the nasty habits of the censorious Thought Police on that subscription news site with its interesting collection of ‘citizen moderators’, particularly when it comes to a subscriber speaking truth about the Religion of Death and Atrocity.

Nevertheless, with my usual morbid sense of fascination I came back to it for an update this morning and, Lo and Behold, I cannot find it (the comment, that is — the article is still there). Now why could that be? I ask.

Well, I will just leave it to you, dear GoVers, to draw your own conclusions and so here it is. Y’all have fun now :)…politely, of course.

The Comment.

Well explained, Melanie, particularly as you are writing within the constraints that these days are so firmly imposed upon freedom of speech and the public use of precise definitions.

So, if permitted, as way of explanation, I will try to clarify some aspects of the following paragraph which you quoted and which really is a classic example of destructive disinformation that perhaps is even being disseminated with malignant intent by the authors thereof. Repeatedly calling a horse an antelope does not make it an antelope no matter how determined the effort to make it so is:

“Its 2013 Task Force on Tackling Radicalisation and Extremism defined Islamist extremism as an ideology based on a “distorted” interpretation of Islam, which betrayed its “peaceful principles” and “should not be confused with traditional religious practice”.

Islam is a Theocratic political system based upon and sustained by the practice of slavery and submission, enforced whenever it can be by extreme violence and atrocity. Islam only demonstrates its ‘peaceful principles’ (the verses of) in the early stages of the occupation of a target culture or to protect itself when in a position of weakness. When it is in a position of ascendency and power, these early peaceful verses are doctrinally abrogated by the later ‘verses of war’, and the killing begins.

Fighting to Regain Swiss Sovereignty

The Gutmenschen of Switzerland have the same globalist ambitions for their country as other progressives in Europe and North America: they want to subjugate it to unaccountable international bodies, giving them veto power over Swiss law and citizens’ initiatives. In particular, they want to bind Switzerland to the legal regime of the European Union, even though it is not an EU member state.

The Swiss People’s Party has launched a new initiative to resist any further erosion of national sovereignty. Many thanks to Ava Lon for translating the article from Le Matin:

UDC Files Initiative Against Foreign Judges

UDC [Swiss People’s Party, SVP, also known as the Democratic Union of the Center, is a national-conservative political party in Switzerland] filed on Friday its popular [citizens’] initiative “Swiss law instead of foreign judges”, having gathered 116,09 signatures.[a minimum of 100,000 is required] The party accuses the elites of a “coup” against the people.

According to the Federal Constitution, the Swiss people and the cantons are the supreme legislator of our country, said Christoph Blocher at a press conference in Bern. But the legislative self-determination of Switzerland is constantly being undermined.

The culprits, according to the tribune of the populist right: Parliament, the government, the administration, justice and law professors. “They formed a worrying alliance in order to slyly remove the constitution.”

Their intentions are clear: these groups are seeking to muzzle direct democracy. “This is nothing short of a coup” against the people and the Constitution, accuses former Federal Councillor Christoph Blocher.

And UDC President Albert Rosti adds: since 2012, several decisions of the Federal Court put international law above the decisions of the Swiss people.

The implementation of the initiative on the expulsion of foreign criminals, the initiative on the confinement for life and on the removal of statute of limitations for crimes of pedophilia: all those examples show how judges of Lausanne, through their decisions, violated direct democracy and separation of powers, according to UDC.

Mother of battles

But the SVP holds the solution, she says; the popular initiative will correct this dangerous course by giving primacy to Swiss law with respect to international law.

Because “we are convinced sovereignists”, echoed the vice president of the UDC and state councilor in Valais, Oskar Freysinger. The question of the superiority of Swiss law is the mother of all battles, all other issues, including asylum and migration, being linked to it.

Denouncing treaties

The text states that the Confederation and the cantons shall respect international law. But the Federal Constitution is placed above, “except for the mandatory rules of international law” (prohibition of torture, genocide and slavery, in particular).

The initiative also states that the Confederation and the cantons do not contract any obligation under international law that is in conflict with the Swiss Constitution. Otherwise, these obligations must be adapted and treaties renounced, if necessary.

Targeting EU

The initiative on self-determination is also intended to prevent the automatic adoption of the EU law or of its “dynamic”. Last week Christoph Blocher launched his campaign against an institutional framework agreement between Switzerland and the EU. According to him, such an agreement would force the country to follow the decisions of the European Court of Justice and put Switzerland under EU guardianship.

The Islamic State Comes to Prague

Long-time readers will remember Martin Konvicka, a Czech Counterjihad activist whose previous actions in Prague have appeared in this space.

Mr. Konvicka’s latest caper involved a simulated takeover by the Islamic State of the capital of the Czech Republic. He and his colleagues in Alternative for CR mounted a Humvee and drove into the Old Town Square in central Prague to announce the new Islamic regime in Czechia.

The faux mujahideen carried plastic toy guns, wore paste-on beards, and generally hammed it up in their presentation to the Czech public. However, some of the snowflakes in their audience evidently filed a complaint with the police, and they were required to visit police headquarters and explain their actions. Since they had acquired the proper permits and coordinated with the police in advance, there was no real issue, and it’s unlikely that they will face any further legal trouble.

The three videos below show the pretend ISIS takeover and its aftermath. The first video discusses what happened, and features interviews with members of Alternative for CR. The other two videos show the action itself. Notice that the people who take offense at the performance art seem to be tourists, and shout their (obscene) complaints in English.
