Christmas Songs? Bah! Humbug!

Here’s another Politically Correct Scrooge story for the Christmas season. This report by Egri Nök was published earlier at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

German High School: Christmas Celebration Suspended As Christmas Songs Not Compatible With Muslim Pupil’s Beliefs

An original translation from NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk, public broadcaster):

Christmas Party at Lüneburg high school voluntary

December 20, 2017

The Johanneum in Lüneburg this year will forgo a Christmas celebration during class time. The reason: it appears that last year a Muslim pupil complained that the Christmas songs that were sung were not compatible with her belief. Instead of the mandatory celebration during class time, there will now be a voluntary celebration in the afternoon. This is what the school administration decided upon. The chair of the school parents’ council said that this was a compromise she could live with.

School invokes school law

In their decision, the high school invokes the Lower Saxony school law. It says that during class, religious beliefs must be respected, and the feelings of people with dissenting opinions are to be respected. In music class, no religious songs were sung either, says the leader of the high school.

Implementation is up to the school

Each school can decide for itself how the rule is to be implemented, said a spokesman for the school board. The paragraph in the school law was not a prohibition on singing Christian songs. Not all schools handle the situation in the same way as the Johanneum. In the Catholic elementary school in Lüneburg, the Muslim pupils attend the Christmas celebration, says the school director. Some Muslim parents deliberately registered their children at that school so that their children could come to know other cultures and religions.

We Don’t Need No Integration

The following report by Egri Nök was published earlier at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

By the way: It reminds me of that old Cheech and Chong routine with Sister Mary Elephant. The sister — a nun teaching school in the ghetto — says sternly, “Give me that knife!” Then you hear the KA-CHUNG of a thrown knife embedding itself in the desk, after which the sister says calmly but frostily, “Thank you.”

Germany: Syrians Get Into “Religious” Argument in Integration Class, Stab Each Other

An original translation from Neue Rhein/Ruhr Zeitung:

Argument in the Integration Class: Man Wounded With Knife

Rita Meesters
December 19, 2017

WESEL. Syrian woman comes into conflict with two men in an integration class; her boyfriend is critically injured afterwards. Homicide Department is investigating.

As a consequence of an argument among the participants in an integration class, on Monday evening around 5pm a 23-year-old was critically wounded by a knife wound in the stomach. The two suspects, a 36-year-old Syrian and a 41-year-old man from Lebanon, were arrested in the early morning hours of Tuesday in their apartments in Wesel by a special police unit. One of the men resisted arrest and was injured during the arrest. He is being treated in hospital, the police announce.

Apparently, it was about religious matters

An argument in the integration class in the community college Ritterstraße. A vocal argument broke out between the two 36 and 41-year-old men, and a further participant of the class. According to NRZ’s information, it was supposedly about religious backgrounds; the women apparently was not wearing a headscarf anymore. There had been a conflict lingering between the involved parties for a while. The head of the class and the chief of the community college, Andreas Brinkmann, tried to appease, and calm down the heated situation.

But the argument continued in front of the community college building. First, a man who is an acquaintance of the Syrian woman was lightly injured in the head by a knife. Over the continuing course of the conflict, the 23-year-old, who is allegedly the boyfriend of the woman, suffered a stab wound in the stomach and was gravely injured. Police established a homicide team. The two suspects were arrested with the support of a special police unit in their apartments in Wesel.

Exact circumstances still not clarified

Police are still investigating the background of the deed, Ramon van der Maat of the Duisburg Police announces. It were still unclear who wounded the victim with the knife.

Community college chief Andreas Brinkmann and his team are shocked by the deed: “We never had anything like that before.” The German language classes at the community college have existed for twelve years; currently there are about 500 participants of different nationalities and religions being taught in 30 classes — in the classes it was, apart from smaller arguments, quiet and peaceful, says Brinkmann.

Christian Monk in Egypt: “I Think it’s Time for the Islamic Empire”

The following video is an excerpt from a documentary that aired on Duna, the Hungarian public broadcaster. It features an interview with a Coptic monk in Egypt, Father Maximus, who discusses the persecution of Christians under Muslim regimes, and what lies ahead for Europe as it becomes more and more Islamic.

A note from the translator:

This is the translation of the Hungarian dubbing of an interview originally done in English. I was concentrating on the Hungarian version when I was translating back to English, so obviously I could not match word-for-word with the original, which can be heard in multiple places in the interview. Also, because of the nature of dubbing the Hungarian translation, the original English is not always in sync. I matched the translation in sync with the Hungarian dubbing.

The following description accompanied the original video:

The documentary was made by Beatrix Siklósi and Géza Marossy, two Hungarian documentary filmmakers, about the trips to the Middle East and Egypt by Father Csaba Böjte (a Transylvanian-Hungarian Catholic monk, renowned for his homes for orphan children, in which he housed, taught and integrated for society in the most civilized way, thousands of orphan children, in a Romania, where usually the institutions for orphan children are places of abuse, rape, etc.), Szabolcs Sajgó (representative of the Jesuit mission) and György Hölvényi [Hungarian MEP from the Hungarian Christian-Democratic Party, Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz’s ally], under a Hungarian government program for helping Christians from Middle East, Iraq, Syria and Egypt to start a new life in their countries. This documentary shows the life and tragedy of the Christians under Islamic and terrorist rule.

Two documentaries were made. The first part is about the Iraqi and the Syrian Christians, and the second one about the Egyptian Coptic Christians, the terror attacks against them, their harsh life under constant threat.

The part of the documentary presented here was filmed in the monastery of Saint Anthony the Great, where the Christian monk founded the first monastery near Nitria in Egypt. An interview with Father Maximus, who lives in the monastery with 120 monks.

Vehicular Jihad in Melbourne

Here we go again. A downtown street in a major city is cordoned off. Police guard the perimeter. Emergency vehicles clot the area, lights flashing. Medical personnel and passers-by huddle over crumpled figures on the pavement.

And the first thing the authorities say? “No connection to terrorism.”

This time it’s in Melbourne CBD (Central Business District), on Flinders Street. Late this afternoon (early this morning our time) a car ran down pedestrians on a crowded sidewalk, wounding 19 people. The accounts emerging after the incident follow the standard playbook: a lone-wolf driver with a history of mental illness who has no connections to terrorism. The second man arrested is just a bystander taking photos who happened to have three knives in a bag. And, yes, both of them are Muslims, but so what? Are you a WAYCIST??

An Australian reader named RA sends this report:

The police have just held a media conference and it turns out this has nothing to do with terrorism. One of the two Muslim guys arrests was just filming the incident and (though found with three knives in his bag) it turns out he was just an innocent bystander.
The attacker was the sole guy in the car, and is a 32-year-old man of Afghan descent who was known to police and has mental health issues. And though it was definitely deliberate, according to police it is not related to terrorism.

He was known to police because he had some minor driving charges and a minor assault arrest or conviction. He has mental health issues because he has used or was being treated for drug addiction. So apparently his deliberate running down of (now) 19 pedestrians was not terror-related.

And from Salome, also in Oz, summarizing the news articles:

  • A white SUV collided with pedestrians on Flinders St just after 4.30pm
  • Police say 19 people were injured during the incident, 15 of them are stable and four are in a critical condition
  • Police have emphasised there is no evidence to connect the incident with terrorism
  • Victoria Police have arrested the sole occupant of the car, 32-year-old Saeed Noori, who is of Afghan descent and has a history of drug use and mental illness
  • A second man who was filming the incident was arrested. He had three knives in his bag
  • Police have not established a relationship between the two men who were arrested
  • Nine patients have been taken to The Alfred hospital
  • Three have been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital
  • A child with a head injury has been taken to Royal Children’s Hospital and is in a stable condition
  • More patients are at St Vincent’s
  • Two men are in custody and are being questioned by police
  • Buildings fronting onto Flinders St were evacuated
  • All pedestrians and vehicles are advised to avoid the area
  • Premier Daniel Andrews says there is no intel to suggest we need to change our current threat level or threat assessment

From The Herald Sun:

Pedestrians hit by car in Melbourne CBD, two men arrested

ICE-addicted Afghan-Australian Saeed Noori has deliberately mowed 17 pedestrians down in the CBD in an “act of evil”.

Noori, who was known to police and was on a mental health plan, roared through the Elizabeth St intersection on Flinders St and slammed into innocent shoppers, workers and tourists.

After his Suzuki SUV smashed into a tram stop bollard an off-duty cop — hailed on Thursday night as a hero — dragged Noori out of the vehicle.

Victoria Police Acting Chief Commissioner Shane Patton said Noori, 32, had a history of drug abuse.

Sources said he had missed a medical appointment earlier in the day.

“He is still in custody, under arrest for what we allege is a deliberate act,” Mr Patton said.

Pedestrians aged four to 83 needed hospital treatment after the horrifying rampage at one of Melbourne’s busiest intersections, with four critically injured.

France Must Remain Secular, No Matter What!

As we reported last night, the culture wars have come to the town of Béziers in southern France, where Mayor Robert Ménard has been forced by the local prefect to remove a Christmas crèche from the Town Hall, all in the name of laïcité.

The following discussion about Béziers from French television features Martine Cerf, the general secretary of the secular association Egale-Egalité Laïcité Europe (Equal-Equality Secularism Europe). Many thanks to Ava Lon for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

We Three Kings of Orient Are… NOT

This year’s Christmas in Finland has been sullied by WAYCISTS. At least, that’s the opinion of the state-run broadcaster and a major progressive broadsheet (think: New York Times), because the traditional Christmas play featuring a the Wise Men of the East uses — gasp! — a character in blackface to portray the dark-skinned king.

The horror!

KGS of Tundra Tabloids has the story:

Finnish news media tries stirring up angst against Christmas play because of traditional black character

This is an innocent and endearing traditional Finnish Christmas play, which is why they (Leftists/media) are now attacking it…

I tweeted about it earlier, stating that:

It was only a matter of time that would come under assault, every year I’ve watched the performances in Jysk, wondering when will the nutjobs come after it. Well, now the fake newsrag HS wants to make it an issue, I hope normal Finn’s tell them to stuff it.

It’s simply a play based upon the gospel of Matthew telling of the Wise Men’s journey to honor the newborn child Jesus, and of King Herod, who orders his soldiers to murder all of the young Jewish boys in hopes of getting this newborn.

The state broadcaster YLE’s article on the Christmas play (in Finnish, Tiernapojat). It tries to connect this play, in which a character playing the King of the East (thought to be of dark complexion) darkens his face, with other cultural Christian traditions using ‘black face’.

Most followers of this website already know about Black Pete of the Netherlands, a pixie, or sprite of a character that helps Santa deliver presents to the children for Christmas. That has been regularly attacked by the same forces in the Netherlands (as now here in Finland), annually making its way into the international press. The HS and YLE are now trying to do that with the Tiernapojat.

In Holland, the pains of the local Black Pekka or Zwarte Piet tradition in the local Christmas tradition. In Finland there is still no debate about The Tiernapojat yet.

In that one line, YLE sets up its entire premise behind the story, to cause a commotion over a simple, cute, endearing Christmas play telling a gospel story. No one ever looked at it as ‘racist’, nor should they. YLE then interviews an obscure music teacher, Minja Koskela, and Muslim activist, Marya Abdulkarim to deliver what they think is the ‘coup de grâce’ to the play as a whole:

What Was the Role of the Intelligence Services in the Berlin Christmas Market Attack?

The following report by Egri Nök was published earlier at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

What Was the Role of the Intelligence Services in the Berlin Christmas Market Attack?

by Egri Nök

Germany — The following research by Stefan Aust and Helmar Büchel suggests that all the unexplainable “accidents” the German authorities made in dealing with Anis Amri in the year leading up to his attack might not have been accidents after all.

An original translation from Die Welt/Welt Am Sonntag.

Anis Amri under surveillance as early as 2015

by Stefan Aust, Helmar Büchel
Dec. 17, 2017

New insights in the Amri case: The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution had already appointed a dedicated case handler for Amri. Why did she not raise the alarm?

The Berlin Christmas Market attacker Anis Amri was under surveillance, being shadowed and intercepted, much earlier than authorities and Federal government have admitted until now.

This is what emerges from thousands of files, dozens of confidential informant reports, and the protocols of the telephone and internet surveillance, which Welt Am Sonntag have exclusively obtained.

No later than November 2015, the Federal Attorney in Karlsruhe had the Tunisian individually surveilled by the Federal Office For Criminal Investigations (BKA) and the North Rhine-Westphalia State Office For Criminal Investigations (LKA), by a confidential informant of the police who calls himself “Murat” and appears in the documents as “VP01”.

The measure was part of the covert investigations of the alleged Islamic State terror cell of the hate preacher Abdullah Abdullah from Hildesheim who is known by his pseudonym “Abu Walaa”.

As early as November 24, 2015, more than one year before the attack at the Breitscheidplatz, “VP01” reported Amri’s concrete terror plans to the LKA Düsseldorf. From there, they — along with all further insights — were reported on to the BKA, the General Attorney, and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. From no later than December 3, 2015 on, the oft-changing mobile phones of Amri were intercepted, and his internet connections surveyed.

Amri downloaded instructions for explosives

Back on December 14, 2015, Anis Amri had downloaded detailed instructions for mixing explosives, and for the construction of bombs and hand grenades, on his smart phone that was monitored 24/7. From no later than February 2, 2016 on, Amri had phone conversations on this intercepted telephone with two ISIS cadres on the intermediate level of command, and offered himself as suicide attacker for an attack in Germany.

With the help of the police informant “VP01”, the same month the intelligence officers managed to enter the encrypted chat communication of Amri with the ISIS cadres in the messaging services Telegram and WhatsApp. While the Federal Government has been claiming until now that BND (German Intelligence Service) and BfV (Office For The Protection Of The Constitution) had no operational parts in the Amri case, Welt am Sonntag have obtained emails and files from the authorities that prove a greater role of the German intelligence services. Back in January 2016, the BfV authored a two-page analysis of Anis Amri that was signed by BfV chief Maaßen personally.

The BKA (Federal Office For Criminal Investigation) sent 12,000 documents to the Office For Protection Of The Constitution.

More than 12,000 files, among them the communication with Amri’s ISIS contacts in Libya, which were secured from Amri’s smart phone on February 18, 2016, were sent by the BKA to the BfV. This is proven by the evaluating report of the BKA. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution even appointed a dedicated case handler to Anis Amri. This agent (her name is known to Welt Am Sonntag) is employed in the anti-terror department of the BfV in Berlin. She is in the same office complex as the BKA’s Department 33 for the Protection of the State, which is also responsible for Amri.

Welt Am Sonntag’s research also proves that even before his arrival in Italy in April 2011, Amri had close personal and even family ties with fighters and leading cadres of the Islamic State in Libya. These contacts had been known to the Tunisian secret service for years. BKA and the Federal Prosecutor demonstrably learnt of these family ties Amri had to the Islamic State when they intercepted a phone call in which Amri talked about the death of a cousin fighting for the ISIS.

The reason why, in spite of these early, and crushing, findings of the German intelligence agencies, Amri was had not been arrested one year before the attack in Berlin, does not emerge from the available files. But several months of investigations by Welt Am Sonntag suggest an involvement of international intelligence services. They might have seen Amri as bait which would lead them to his instigators, the ISIS terror attack planners, in Libya.

US Air Force attacked ISIS camp

Indeed, Amri, according to findings of Welt am Sonntag, was put under the Italian intelligence service AISI’s surveillance immediately after he was released from deportation custody in May 2015. Allegedly they lost him when he made his way to Germany. A few weeks after he was shot near Milan, B2 stealth bombers from the US Air Force attacked, in a secret operation managed from Germany, exactly that ISIS desert camp in Libya where the instigators of the Breitscheidplatz are suspected to reside.

Hans-Christian Ströbele, a member of the secret service control committee of the Bundestag, therefore suspects in an interview with Welt am Sonntag the “governing hand” of a US intelligence service or the US military behind the “otherwise inexplicable” non-arrest of Anis Amri. The fact that the federal government has not delivered the solution of the background, which was promised by Merkel the day after the attack, “is a massive scandal,” says Ströbele.

Culture-Enricher Tries to Drown German Girl; Almost Drowns Himself Instead

The following report by Egri Nök was published earlier at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

Berlin: Afghan Refugee Tries to Drown Girl in 2°C River

by Egri Nök

An original translation from B.Z. (Berliner Zeitung):

Berlin-Spandau: 19-year-old wanted to drown girl (17) in the Havel

December 19, 2017

The young man pushed the 17-year-old into the river and repeatedly tried to push her under the water

A relationship argument between a young woman (17) and her boyfriend (19) – according to B.Z. investigations an Afghan asylum seeker – ended in the two-degree [Celsius; 35.6°F] water of the Havel at the Spandauer Burgwall! With dramatic consequences for the man: he submerged, and was rescued by firefighters. He had to be resuscitated. He was taken to hospital to the intensive care unit for further treatment.

Girl saved herself at the riverbank

The girl was able to get to the riverbank and save herself by climbing up a ladder on the wall. She was taken to hospital with hypothermia. As the German girl tells the police and the rescue teams, her boyfriend angrily pushed her into the water after an argument. He then jumped in as well, and tried to push her under the water to drown her.

The police confirm this course of events in their press release of Tuesday afternoon. The fourth homicide commission began investigations. “The man is a suspect. He had to be resuscitated,” says a police spokesman.

Rescuers in fear

B.Z. spoke to the gas station attendant at the marine gas station at Spandauer Burgwall: “I saw how the soaking wet, frightened girl was taken into the ambulance.” About a minute later a commotion broke out among the rescuers. They ran back to the water and searched for the woman’s boyfriend. “A tug was just about to land for tanking at my station; we were barely able to redirect it.” Then a river police boat arrived and pulled the man from the water.

No Nativity Scene Allowed at the Béziers Town Hall

We reported last week on Robert Ménard, the Front National mayor of the town of Béziers in the South of France. Mr. Ménard had sinned against French secularism by setting up a Christmas crèche at the town hall. The local prefect demanded that the mayor take it down, but he refused.

Now the prefect has taken action. Many thanks to Ava Lon for translating this press release from the town of Béziers, as posted on Twitter:

For the first time in France, the state expels the Nativity Scene of a town hall

The Nativity Scene at the office of the mayor of Béziers is expelled from the Town Hall. The decision of the Administrative Court of Montpellier fell on Monday, December 18th. An aberrant decision against which the City of Béziers reserves the right to appeal. But is the most striking is that this court decision comes after a complaint… by the prefect of Hérault.

It’s no longer a question of some nasty secular associations determined to do our figurines in, as was the case in 2014 or 2016. No, this time it is the State which, alone, via its representative in Hérault, has the Nativity Scene removed. It’s a “first”, whose symbolic —and historical— significance is absolutely stunning to us.

More staggering still, the judgment that has just been rendered. The judge hearing the application, who is supposed to rule on the “urgency”, makes a basic decision on the Nativity Scene. The court considers that “the installation of such a Nativity Scene […] in a public place, is legally possible only when its character is cultural, artistic or festive” and that “the installation in question does not exhibit any particular artistic character, being comprised only of ordinary figurines.” Thus, we learn that the judge is now competent to judge the presence —or absence — of the cultural aspects of an exhibition in the context of Christmas animations.

The court decision therefore requires the municipality of Béziers to remove its Nativity Scene from the hall of their Town Hall. Tomorrow, it will be moved. To continue to admire the traditional Christmas Nativity Scene of Béziers, we invite all Biterrois [residents of Béziers] on Thursday, December 21 to come to the lobby of the Hotel Dulac, 27 rue 4 September. The Nativity Scene of Béziers will be there and very visible too, from 8am to 7pm.

Bottom line, the city of Béziers will not let this rest. Because it knows it will be able to count on the 23,000 visitors who, last year alone, came to admire the Christmas Nativity Scene of Béziers. It knows it can count on these thousands of visitors of all faiths who have expressed their liking for our traditions in the five visitors’ books filled with messages of support. It knows it can count on myriads of French people to fight at her side, to defend what they refuse us. “They” are those who always want to ban everything, those who fight against our traditions. “They” are those who, in reality, neither love Béziers nor France. The novelty, chillingly, is that “they” are now the State.
