An Actuarial Armageddon

The following video from Epoch Times discusses the growing body of evidence from life insurance companies about an unprecedented excess of deaths since the beginning of mass experimental mRNA treatments intended to mitigate the effects of infection with the Wuhan Coronavirus. The presenter uses the dollar amounts of increased death benefit payouts (which are publicly reported) to estimate the additional number of deaths, a total that is so much of a statistical outlier that it cannot be dismissed as simply a random fluctuation in the rate of death. Since the same phenomenon has been experienced by multiple major insurance providers, we are faced with the near-certainty that there is some ominous unknown cause of death common to all these insurance carriers:

There are several downstream consequences of all this to think about.

First of all, what will happen to all the insurance carriers if the trend continues, and especially if it intensifies, which seems fairly likely? Insurance companies are required to maintain a reserve of funds sufficient to meet the payouts that may be expected, based on careful actuarial calculations about the probability of death within each covered age group. Actuarial methods will obviously need to be revised, and the normal follow-up would be an increase in insurance premiums charged for any newly-written policies.

Alternatively, the companies could refuse to insure the “vaccinated”, or at the very least insist that they pay a higher rate for their polices. However, that seems to me to be a political impossibility — acknowledging the truth about what the vax has done to billions of people would have a catastrophic effect, causing the entire rickety “scientific” edifice surrounding COVID to come crashing down, with unpredictable consequences for governments all over the world.

So the insurance companies will just have to keep on paying out death benefits under the usual terms.

What will happen when they exhaust their reserves? Will they have to file for Chapter 11, and cease the issuance of new policies?

Once again, that seems politically unlikely, so I assume the government will have to bail them out. Create a few trillion more dollars of imaginary money to “recapitalize” the insurance industry, or use some other similar jargon designed to paper over the reality of what’s happening.

Above all else, there must never be any serious investigation of the cause of the statistical anomaly. This means that the data must somehow be suppressed. Maybe the insurance regulators will quietly change the rules, and no longer require that life insurance payouts be a matter of public record. Or even forbid such figures to be made public. Let the government underwrite everything, and then hush up all the damning statistics.

At least that’s what seems to me to be the most likely outcome. But maybe there’s another way for the Powers That Be to handle it.

Or maybe the currency collapse will arrive before anybody has to deal with the problem, and after that it won’t matter anymore.

In my early morning news broadcast, I routinely include stories about the ongoing series of massacres in Africa. I want Americans to know what happens in countries where Islam is ascendant, so they can decide where Islam belongs in the American scheme of things.

Recent stories include Muslim militants killing 142 people in 10 villages across Nigeria, and fresh jihad attacks and slaughter of innocents in Mozambique as well as Nigeria. Muslims have abducted or killed 35 Christian pastors in the last 17 months.

One recent story that broke through to major news outlets was the terrorist attack on a Catholic Church during church services in Nigeria, killing 50 people and taking the priest hostage. Locals identified the killers as ethnic Fulanis. The Fulani stock is primarily Muslim.

There’s a narrative out there to the effect these are all just land and water disputes between rival tribes. Nothing could be further from the truth. How much land and water is inside a Catholic Church? These are massacres motivated by standard Islamic doctrine, the same Islamic doctrine found in America and everywhere else the Quran is read and believed. Quranic doctrine holds that Islam shall reign supreme, and jihad will be waged until the entire world submits to Islam. Another narrative, pushed by the corrupt FBI and the rest of the U.S. government, is that sharia supremacy is only the view of extremist groups like Al Qaeda, but the narrative falls apart when you realize sharia supremacy and jihad come right from the pages of the Quran itself. As President Erdogan of Turkey put it in 2017, “There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.”

Europe’s rabble has to save a bit more now — the diplomatic representation of the European Union, the European External Action Service (EEAS), feels unconstrained by the current economic crisis or any thoughts about setting an example: As the magazine Politico has now revealed, the EU bureaucracy bought an eleven-room apartment at 138 East 65th Street in New York’s Upper East Side — with €20 million in tax money.

The fine little house has just been renovated for €7 million and looks pretty neat: It’s only a few minutes’ walk to nearby Central Park, and the location of the new EU lodging couldn’t have been chosen better.

Hardly anyone else is discussed more controversially in connection with the pandemic than Bill Gates.

Bill Gates proposes further ways to the WHO for it to be prepared for future pandemics. At the moment it is not known whether there are other Corona variants somewhere, according to the Microsoft founder: “In my opinion, the probability of a new, very dangerous variant is low, but there is no guarantee of that.” [I guess that the destruction of those labs in Ukraine threw a spanner into the works.]

But not only Corona. Another pandemic could also come along. [I’m pretty sure one will, especially when Bill predicts them. He has a greatly proven track record in the “Pandemic Prediction Business”.] Gates sees this scenario coming in the next twenty years. Then one must be ready, explained the billionaire in an interview with Die Welt about his views on the state of affairs. “How fast are we able to make diagnoses? If people have to be quarantined, where do we put them?” [Is that why all those crematoria are being build next to shower facilities?]

Gates also proposes practical exercises, organized in concert with the WHO. “A brigade of full-time pandemic experts would need to help states prepare, especially in lower-income countries.” [I wonder why that might be? Is it because the people in these countries are more sceptical than the brainwashed Westerners?]

A billion as a budget is very small, given the loss of thousands of billions due to the Corona crisis. [Can’t he read his own bank statements? Because quite a large share of that loot (our “lost” money) ended up in his pocket, and if he really is a philanthropist he would give it back.] The billionaire explained that two years ago he was still quite optimistic about antibodies and therapies against COVID-19. In the meantime, however, there have been several mutations of the virus, including beta from South Africa, delta from the Indian Ocean area and finally the omicron variant, whose exact origin is unknown. [Why, did they lose track of that one somehow after the release?]

Paradoxical and bizarre

Gates praised the rapid availability of vaccines made possible by the pharmaceutical industry, but he was surprised by the “massive political rejection of the vaccine and the wearing of masks” in several countries. Something else surprised him: “I donate billions of dollars to save millions of lives, but according to the conspiracy theories I make billions with a vaccine that destroys lives” — for Bill Gates, “one of those paradoxes” in the pandemic. [Didn’t he say in a CNBC Interview that he makes around 2,000% profit from vaccines? And how many lives has he destroyed over the years, this so called “philanthropist”, with his poisons? Ask the Indians and Africans, they’ll tell you.]

It happened in Budapest that an Olympic swimmer fainted in the pool and had to be rescued. Look at the photos; they are truly astonishing.

I got the clue that it might have been about the clotshot when I saw “Father Vax of Hungary”, the heart specialist and chief jab propagandist Dr. Béla Merkely, come out to explain it all away by saying that this sport is probably not for her because not everyone can endure high levels of CO2 in the body:

According to Béla Merkely, it was later revealed that Anita Alvarez had a similar illness before. “There are different types of athletes, some of them are fine with the alternation of oxygen and carbon dioxide. But some are more sensitive, and she is one of them.

“It’s probably not the sport for her.”

“Illness”? “It is not her sport”? Very awkward explanations.

So after this mumbo-jumbo by “Father Vax” Merkely in the news, I began to suspect that it was a cover-up, and that the accident might have had to do something with the jab. It was difficult to find anything — none of the mainstream media mentions her vax status, yet the world press is full of the astonishing photos of the underwater rescue.

Even more bizarre: Neither Finland, Sweden, the U.S., NATO, EU, nor any other country or leader has, to my knowledge, pointed out Ankara’s glaring hypocrisy.

Turkey claims that Finland and Sweden host members of the PKK, the militant Kurdish organization that the U.S. and EU regard as terrorists. Both Nordic nations deny the charge.

Like many Europeans, however, Finns and Swedes sympathize with Kurds. Turkey has long repressed and ethnically cleansed the latter.

Regardless, Ankara is blocking uber-civilized Finland and Sweden from joining NATO.

Ironically, Turkey — autocratic, infamously violative of human rights, and systemically corrupt — would be unqualified to join NATO today were it not already a member.

The point is: Who is Turkey to accuse others of terrorism?

Russia Retaliates for Sanctions

Chip makers groan as Russia limits noble gas exports

Bad news for manufacturers of semiconductor chips, among others. As a countermeasure to Western sanctions, Russia has imposed restrictions on the export of noble gases.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that it will react appropriately to increasing Western sanctions. The Russians are responding accordingly, with Intel, Samsung, TSMC, and Qualcomm exiting the Russian market after the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union imposed export controls on chips made or designed in the United States or Europe.

For the time being, until December 31 of this year, exports of noble gases require a special permit from the Russian government. “We believe that we will have the opportunity to make our voices heard in this global chain, and this will give us a competitive advantage when it is necessary to conduct mutually beneficial negotiations with our peers,” said Russia’s Deputy Trade Minister Vasily Shpak told Reuters on Thursday.

Given that Russia is responsible for around a third of global production of the noble gases neon, krypton and xenon, and the two Ukrainian noble gas producers Ingas and Cryoin in Donbass stopped production in March due to the war, global supply is becoming increasingly scarce. These produced around half of the global demand for neon. For example, neon is used in lasers during lithography, a part of the chip manufacturing process that burns patterns into silicon.

The Russian move promises to prolong the global semiconductor supply crisis, which is already wreaking havoc on a variety of industries that use the increasingly ubiquitous chips. Taiwan — the leading maker of chips in general and 92 percent of the most advanced chips — has also restricted its exports to Russia and can now expect to face severely curtailed noble gas supplies in return.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that the sanctions against Russia are boomeranging back on Western economies. The bear was cornered and is now fighting back. With disastrous consequences for the people and businesses of Europe who are suffering under the sanctions imposed by their politicians.

Lest We Forget

As most of you know, I joined the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) a while back. Given the current cultural climate here in the Nation Formerly Known as the United States of America, it’s about the most politically incorrect organization I could belong to. I suppose the Klan would be worse, but to the progressive mainstream it’s undoubtedly “Klan, Sons of Confederate Veterans — same thing.”

Many years ago I wrote a poem entitled “Mason Dixon” that began with these lines:

The central obsession of our federal estate
is the bloody conflict that divided it.
Thirteen decades later its veterans’ reunions
and widows’ pensions are no more,
but the dead still rest uneasy
in their ordered rows.

The sleep of the Civil War dead is even more disturbed these days. If the woke brigades get their way, every last Confederate soldier will be dug up from his final resting place and — What? Burned? Thrown in the swamp? Shipped to Devil’s Island?

We who are descended from Confederate veterans are expected to repudiate our ancestors. The new politically correct regime is determined to wipe their collective memory from our culture and replace it with a Snidely Whiplash version which is all about slavery and the cruel, evil slave-owners who were righteously vanquished by the virtuous Union armies.

Slavery was an abomination, but the war was about a lot more than just slavery. Here in Virginia it was about being invaded — in 1861 the Union army came down the Shenandoah Valley west of the Blue Ridge, torching farms and crops, and taking prominent citizens hostage to be held against the good behavior of the rest of the community.

There were hardly any slaves in the Shenandoah Valley. Do you really think that slavery was the most important issue on the minds of the citizens of Winchester and Front Royal and Port Republic when their young men took up arms, joined the militia, and left their homes to muster under the command of General Robert E. Lee?

We were invaded.

When I talk to my liberal friends, I sometimes mention that I’ve joined the SCV, just to see what their reaction will be. When they express consternation (as is usually the case), I point out that Virginia was invaded by a foreign aggressor in much the same way that Ukraine was invaded last February. Shouldn’t we celebrate the heroic (albeit futile) resistance of the Virginians against that aggression, just as we celebrate the heroic Ukrainians?

That’s a difficult one for the liberal mind to grapple with. It seems that sometimes invasion is a good thing — it all depends on who is invading whom.

Before 1865 Virginia was a sovereign commonwealth, part of an aggregation known as the United States, the membership in which was considered a voluntary association. But the enemy won the war, and that changed everything. Our sovereignty was destroyed, and states’ rights became increasingly a fiction. Our liberties were steadily eroded, reaching a culmination in the totalitarian dystopia under which our spirits groan today.

Before then the phrase “United States” was treated as a plural noun, but it has been understood as a singular one ever since the ink dried on the surrender in Appomattox on April 9, 1865.

This morning I attended the Memorial Day observance at the Confederate Cemetery in Farmville. It was organized by the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) in collaboration with the SCV. Several chapters of the UDC were in attendance at the ceremonies, as were several camps of the SCV.

The event was unabashedly Christian. It opened and closed with a prayer, and the various speakers made repeated references to God and Jesus Christ in their remarks about the events we were commemorating.

We pledged allegiance to the U.S. Flag, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Confederate battle flag. Yes, I know those pledges seem contradictory. But we lost the war, and as honorable men, we must acknowledge our suzerainty under the superior power of a victorious adversary.

Rigged

For the past fifteen years I’ve often mentioned “globalists” in my writings about mass immigration, Islamization, international finance, and other topics connected with the New World Order. In the early days of this blog, ideas about globalist machinations were still widely considered tinfoil-hat “conspiracy theories”. And they probably still are in most circles, but the number of people who subscribe to them has grown considerably, and continues to increase with each news cycle.

Back in 2007 the exact contours of the globalist enterprise were difficult to ascertain. One could read about the meetings in Davos and the gatherings of the Bilderbergs and the strange rituals at Bohemian Grove, but the exact structure of the one-world enterprise was murky.

A lot has happened since then: the financial crisis of 2008-2009, the ascendancy of Barack Hussein Obama, the various “color revolutions” and the Arab Spring, the grooming of Ukraine, the election of Donald Trump, the COVID-19 “pandemic”, and now the Western proxy war against Russia. As the globalists and transhumanists approach the realization of their dystopian dreams, their doings are becoming much clearer. Donald Trump may well have accelerated that process, forcing their hand before the time was ripe. In any case, they have now come out into the open, and are explaining their intentions quite explicitly for anyone who bothers to pay attention.

After watching the news carefully for the past six years, I have identified six major strategies employed by the architects of the of the coming world utopia:

1.   Mass immigration from the Third World.
2.   The Islamization of the West (obviously closely related to #1).
3.   The destruction of nation states and their traditional cultural institutions.
4.   The imposition of total social control using mass surveillance and artificial intelligence.
5.   The implementation of universal personal digital identification and a global digital currency.
6.   A deliberately engineered financial collapse to usher in #5.
 

The primary focus of this blog for its first ten years was on #1 on #2. We occasionally visited other items in the list — especially the various battles in the Culture Wars (#3) — but we mostly concentrated on immigration and Islamization.

The course of events after the election and overthrow of Donald Trump helped shift that focus, however. Then the “pandemic” clarified the overall situation in all its demonic grandeur. The major players who used to lurk behind the scenes have now come out from behind the scrim into the open and revealed themselves and what they have in store for us.

This essay will concentrate on item #6, and specifically on the debasement of the currency, which is essential for engineering a general financial collapse. The West depends on the dollar (USD) as a reserve currency, so debasing the dollar is necessary in order to trigger the collapse.

Up until 1964, anyone who possessed a U.S. currency note could walk into a bank and exchange it for silver — one troy ounce of silver for every dollar denominated by the note. After 1964 the Treasury issued only “Federal Reserve Notes”, and gradually withdrew all the Silver Certificates from circulation. Silver coins (dimes, quarters, and half dollars) were replaced with the nickel-copper sandwiches we have today, known as “clad coinage”, or more sardonically, “Johnson slugs”.

After the “Nixon shock” took the United States off the gold standard in 1971, the last connection between paper money and a permanent store of value was severed. When I was a kid, the dollar was backed by silver, which the Treasury was obliged to give to you on demand in exchange for your paper dollar. Since then the dollar has been backed only by the “full faith and credit of the United States government” — a commodity that been losing value steadily ever since.

You can still get silver for your dollar bills, but it takes a lot more of them to acquire a Troy ounce of it, which costs somewhere between $21 and $22.

The thing is, in a normal precious metals market, silver should be worth more than that. A lot more. The price of every other commodity is increasing rapidly right now — oil, wheat, pork bellies, machine tools, you name it. But for the past few months precious metals have been going down.

It doesn’t make sense. Up until fifteen or twenty years ago, whenever the stock market dropped, the price of gold and silver went up. Investors who dumped stocks during a market crash would hedge their portfolios with precious metals, driving the price up. Market up, metals down. Market down, metals up. It was a rough but reliable rule.

I started paying close attention to the precious metals market just after the 2008 financial crash. For more than ten years there has been no obvious correlation between the price of gold and silver and the value of stocks. The two metrics rise and fall, but there’s no consistent correlation, neither direct nor inverse.

It just doesn’t make any sense.

Given the amount of fiat money that the Treasury and the Fed have conjured into existence in the past fifteen years, the price of silver should be through the roof. It’s hard to say what its true value should be, but $100-$200 an ounce doesn’t seem out of order. At least five to ten times as much as the current spot price, and possibly much more.

So what’s going on?

Over the last few years I’ve spoken to several precious metals dealers about the weird behavior of the metals market. All of them agree that there is far more “paper silver” — silver futures — floating around than there is physical silver to back it up. The general consensus seems to be hundreds of times as much. That is, for every hundred ounces of silver that various institutions have issued delivery certificates for, there is at most a single ounce of silver that could in fact be delivered to a customer.

From this I conclude that most of the market in silver consists of the exchange of these units of phantom “paper” silver. They are created and exchanged digitally, and purport to represent real silver that the customer could lay his hands on, if he chose to. But it isn’t there. The vast majority of silver that’s traded in the market is completely imaginary.

Viktor Orbán’s Speech at CPAC in Budapest

Due to the geopolitical exigencies of Hungary’s size and location in Europe, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is forced to walk a fine line among the larger powers that surround him. From my point of view as an outsider looking in, he seems to be doing his best to preserve the unique Hungarian heritage and culture, even as he has to go along with parts of the basic program being imposed by the New World Order.

Hungary recently hosted the American Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Budapest, which took place shortly after Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party won an overwhelming victory in the latest general election.

The following video of Mr. Orbán’s speech has been subtitled using the official English translation on the prime minister’s website, based on the original video source.

Our Hungarian correspondent László, who kindly timed the transcript for subtitles, highlights the points in Mr. Orbán’s remarks where he seems to adhere to the talking points of the NWO:

When your readers look at this part of Orbán’s speech, the penny should drop for many:

“Our seventh point: do not get pushed to the extreme. I say this because extreme conspiracy theories rear their heads from time to time on the right — just as extreme utopias regularly rear their heads on the left. If we take a deeper look, we see that in fact people want neither. But, Dear Friends, what is the difference between the denial of science by the extreme right and the denial of biology by LGBTQ movements? The answer is simple: there is no difference whatsoever. We must render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, unto God the things that are God’s, and unto Science the things that are Science’s. We may gain immense popularity on internet forums by promoting conspiracy theories — and indeed sometimes there is truth in them; but in reality we will alienate a large proportion of the electorate, find ourselves pushed to the margins, and eventually we will lose.”

I guess “science” means the Corona psy-op. And “far-right denial of science” means that the “Mi Hazánk” (Our Homeland) party has exposed the Corona psy-op and has been voted into the Parliament.

Again, Hungary is playing the antagonist in the NWO theater, against the more overt “woke” part of the global Communist revolution, along with the invited US Republican party and the whole “conservative idea”. And the more covert part of the Communist revolution is the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” within the “Great Reset”, which Hungary is heavily invested in. The Powers That Be are playing both sides.

A New NATO For a New Cold War

Despite assurances of extensive discussions about Swedish membership in NATO, it is becoming increasingly clear that a decision has already been made that Sweden will join the US-dominated alliance. According to information, the government will send in an official application on Monday.

Sweden’s government will hold a meeting on Monday, where the formal decision on entry into NATO will be made. According to sources to the Bonnier* newspaper Expressen, the decision has already been made, and immediately after this meeting, an official application will be sent in.

It is considered especially important that Sweden and Finland apply together, and the Finnish political leadership declared Thursday that “without delay” they will apply to join NATO.

Officially, several meetings and debates will first be held where the question will be discussed, among others, by the Social Democrats’ members in Parliament, and the security political analysis group, which will prepare a report at a press conference. On Sunday, the Social Democrats’ party leadership will make a formal decision on membership.

In practice, however, it is already clear if one can believe the sources, and on Monday Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson will call for an additional governmental meeting where the decision will be hammered through, and immediately after this, an application will be submitted to NATO.

The Social Democrats’ official line is that NATO membership is still “an open question”. As Nya Dagbladet reported earlier, the main reason for this is to give the image of a living internal democracy within the party. Members say at the same time that party leadership has for some time decided on entry into NATO — even though a large part of its members are opposed.

“All who were physically present at the meeting yesterday were positively inclined towards NATO. This was more of an information meeting on the Social Democrats’ about-face on this important question. On paper, it’s good to say you are having a dialogue, but you must also actually have it,” says the Social Democrat Kent Vilhelmsson, who participated in the virtual meeting where the question was reportedly firmly established and discussed.

“None of the 1,800 participants was allowed to speak during the barely one-hour meeting, which the party leadership tightly controlled,” he further stated on Facebook.

The only political parties expected to remain opposed to Swedish NATO membership are the Environmental Party and the Left Party.

The Abolition of the Soul

In his poem “Prayer Before Birth”, the late Louis MacNeice wrote the following:

I am not yet born, console me.
I fear that the human race may with tall walls wall me,
with strong drugs dope me, with wise lies lure me,
on black racks rack me, in blood-baths roll me.

[…]

I am not yet born; O fill me
With strength against those who would freeze my
humanity, would dragoon me into a lethal automaton,
would make me a cog in a machine, a thing with
one face, a thing, and against all those
who would dissipate my entirety, would
blow me like thistledown hither and
thither or hither and thither
like water held in the
hands would spill me.

This poem was written during the 1930s, when the prototypical despots Hitler and Stalin were, in their separate but equal ways, realizing the Totalitarian Dream. However, in their wildest imaginings they could never have conceived of the powers that the would-be globalist despots of the 21st century, exemplified by the World Economic Forum, plan to wield in their creation of the Brave New World. Secure in their omniscience, confident of their benignity, certain of their superior understanding, and absolutely convinced of their inerrancy, they intend to remake the world into their image of technologically-driven transhuman perfection.

None of this is hidden. It is all clearly and explicitly laid out in text and videos by those who would implement the New World Order, if only we care to pay attention. If, that is, we are willing to let our good night’s sleep be disturbed by an understanding of what lies ahead.

The abolition of the soul

In their publications, the World Economic Forum and its chairman Klaus Schwab state with astonishing frankness that they intend to intervene in human nature and in humans’ relationships with others using all the technical means at their disposal. People, animals and plants are to be completely redesigned. Human nature is at stake.

“The real goal of totalitarian ideology is not the transformation of the external conditions of human existence and not the revolutionary reorganization of the social order, but the transformation of human nature itself, which, as it is, constantly opposes the totalitarian process. … What is at stake in total domination is really the essence of man.” — Hannah Arendt, 1951

As one of the most influential institutions in the Western World[1], the WEF has been putting its plans into practice with overwhelming speed since 2020, working title: The Great Reset, gateway: the Pandemic.[2] It has often been pointed out that the World Economic Forum pursues totalitarian goals with its transhumanism. Despite this, a majority still seems to have faith that the global business elites are, by and large, acting for the good of humanity. This is a mistake — regardless of whether these elites themselves are convinced that they are doing good or not.

A fashionable term such as “transhumanism” may leave you fairly unmoved if you don’t shy away from considering what it means. Misleadingly, he suggests that the project it describes has anything to do with ‘humane’, humanity or humanism; it hasn’t. It would be more accurate to speak of anti-humanism — for the transhumanist, concern amounts to abolishing all living things altogether. In its presumptuousness, this project is certainly doomed to failure. But it could cause living garbage, misery and great suffering.

Therefore, the following should make it clear that the plans of the WEF are deeply totalitarian, and why. Klaus Schwab’s book The Fourth Industrial Revolution serves as the main source of information, because this WEF publication describes its plans particularly bluntly, and, although it was published in 2016, still agrees with the statements made by the extremely influential Davos Forum.[3] Hannah Arendt’s famous work “Elements and Origins of Total Domination” serves as the background and standard for this assessment.[4]

The totalitarian claim to power: rule people from within

In her analysis of the totalitarian systems of her time, Stalinism and National Socialism, Hannah Arendt discovered a striving for control that goes far beyond the power ambitions of dictators, despots and tyrants of all kinds:

“The real goal of totalitarian ideology is not the transformation of the external conditions of human existence and not the revolutionary reorganization of the social order, but the transformation of human nature itself, which, as it is, constantly opposes the totalitarian process. … What is at stake in total domination is really the essence of man.”[5]

What unites the totalitarian elites is “…the conviction of man’s omnipotence. They first gave the moral nihilism of ‘anything goes’ its real basis through the much more radical nihilism of ‘everything is possible’… The hubris of really believing that everything can be done, that everything given is only temporary, is enough for them. The obstacle is that it can be overcome by superior organization.”[6]

Substituting ‘superior engineering’ for ‘superior organization’ pretty much describes the beliefs of the World Economic Forum.

The transformation of human nature

Already in the first sentence of his book, Klaus Schwab says that the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which in his description “…entails nothing less than the transformation of mankind.”[7] The technologies driving this revolution will be “…fundamentally changing our human identity.”[8] They will change “…what it means to be human.”[9] The Fourth Industrial Revolution “…changes who we are.”

These ideas are indeed revolutionary: If they were realized, humans — and other living beings as well — would finally become objects of industrial production. Nature would no longer be something given that as such has a right to exist and a dignity.

Biological organisms that do not occur in nature

According to Schwab, synthetic biology and neurotechnology make the profound changes in human nature possible. Synthetic biology “… will allow us to tailor organisms by writing DNA.”[10] This, in turn, “… enables the creation of genetically modified plants or animals, as well as the modification of cells of adult organisms, including humans .”[11] All living organisms and all organisms not yet born are now objects of design: “We are confronted with new questions about what it means to be human when it comes to changing the genetic codes of future generations.[12]

Advances in medicine made possible by this are often mentioned, but the whole genome is clearly at stake: “…it’s much easier now to precisely manipulate the human genome in viable embryos… we will in the future probably see designer babies…”[13] Wikipedia clarifies once again that synthetic biology is about “…creating biological systems that do not occur in nature.” And note: “These systems are subject to evolution.”[14] The WEF not only welcomes these prospects, it also considers science capable of implementing them at any time:

“Imagine a world where we can create the bodies we want. In this world we can also design and redesign the plants and animals that live with us. We can change organisms and shape them the way we want them to be. … And this is not the world of tomorrow. You don’t need any imagination. This is the world of today.”[15]

The whole human being becomes the object of technical design — and so are his relationships to other people and things.

Neurotechnology: Mind Control, Emotion Control, Relationship Control

Neurotechnology “…includes any process or device in which electronics interface with the nervous system to monitor or regulate neural activity.”[16] The ways to do this are so varied, according to the World Economic Forum that they “transform the human body into a new technology platform.”[17]

The WEF has no objection to that — we are entering “…the era of the ‘internet of bodies’: We collect our physical data through a range of devices that can be implanted, swallowed or worn. The result is a vast amount of health-related data that improves the well-being of people all over the world…”[18] But not only that: “At the same time, the data from the ‘Internet of Bodies’ can be used to predict and to make inferences that may affect an individual’s or group’s access to resources such as health care, insurance and employment.”[19]

Many citizens have already experienced that “influencing” can also mean “blocking”: Until recently, for example, we had no access to public facilities such as libraries, theaters or swimming pools without a vaccination certificate. During the trucker protests in Canada, Prime Minister and “Young Global Leader” of the WEF Justin Trudeau[20] had the accounts of the 50,000 truckers and their supporters blocked without further ado. In view of such arbitrary encroachments on the simplest rights of unwelcome citizens, it is not surprising that many see it more as a threat: “If we do not like your behavior, we will block your access to vital resources.” But you don’t have to see everything so negatively, because:
