We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
“that all men are created equal.” The operative term here is “Created.” Thus, all of us have been created, including all those who never were allowed outside of the womb. Why Thomas Jefferson’s statement never made it into the arguments before the Supreme Court is beyond me.
We are not evolutionary accidents nor are we products of an industrial assembly line, as much as some would have us believe. Industrial products that are defective can be recalled or discarded. Evolutionary accidents must be able to survive on their own to prove their worth.
We are created and as such, testimonies of the love and care of the Lord God Almighty, and to Him, and Him alone, we owe our love and care to and for those around us, especially our wives and children who look to us for loving care and provision. To any government that would declare to us anything else, we remind them of what the Lord God has already stated, through Moses, and in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Thus, we celebrate our independence from these elite oligarchs who would reduce us to abject chattel status and celebrate our loving dependence upon the Lord God who created us.
