Thierry Baudet Takes Aim at the Globalists

Thierry Baudet is the founder and leader of the Dutch party Forum for Democracy (Forum voor Democratie, FvD). He has been a member of the Tweede Kamer (“Second Chamber”, the lower house of the Dutch Parliament) since 2017.

In the following podcast Mr. Baudet weighs in on the energy crisis, “climate change”, and the New World Order. He also discusses the “gotcha” culture of the media, in which careless wording or the use of a colorful turn of phrase can be magnified, distorted, taken out of context, and otherwise manipulated to create a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing.

I’m glad I’m not in the public eye. I tend to take liberties with language in my private utterances, and enjoy using politically incorrect terminology for its own sake. My friends are used to my saying naughty things about chicks, ragheads, homos, Negroes, etc., but I doubt the media would be as tolerant. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with all that nonsense.

Shivering for Thee, But Not for Me

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit:

Green politician

Others can freeze: Künast complains about a cold Bundestag

Berlin

“Freeze for peace” is the motto of the Greens for anyone who dares to complain about gas prices, which have increased at least sixfold in the past year. Many families do not know how they will pay their heating costs. The Bundestag is heated at the expense of taxpayers. But for the prominent Green Party politician Renate Künast, it’s so cold there that she is complaining publicly.

On Twitter, the 66-year-old laments that she “sits with a coat and a third cup of hot water — also to warm her hands — in the office”. She doubts “that’s 19°C . Next week I’ll come with a blanket, hot water bottle and hat.” All public buildings are heated to this temperature to save energy.

Instead of pity, there is criticism for Künast

The Green politician, who collects a monthly allowance of €10,323.29 and has been a member of the Bundestag for twenty years, expected sympathy from her followers, but received scorn and ridicule. One headmistress replied: “I laugh softly and can barely resist feeling sorry… We are doing this for the third winter at the schools. And who cares? Not politicians.”

“Sit with a coat and a 3rd cup of hot water — also to warm your hands — in the office. I doubt it’s 19°C. I’ll come next week with a blanket, hot water bottle and hat.”

— Renate Kuenast (@RenateKuenast), November 18, 2022

Another commented: “Next week wear an FFP2 mask all day long, then you’ll know firsthand what you have done to the students for many months.” And so it went on — a woman wrote to the former Federal Minister: “Dear Mrs. Künast, at home at the moment I’m still only heating the bathroom. Because I’m scared of the cost. Unfortunately, I have no sympathy for you at the moment.”

And a former mathematics professor commented: “Well, you may be cold because you are following the reason of your own greenness. But complain about it here? This is almost anti-election campaign. Yellow card!”

Saman’s Uncle Danish Spills the Beans

As reported here earlier today, searchers in Italy found a body near Novellara that is thought to be that of Saman Abbas, the young Pakistani woman who disappeared in April of last year, and who is believed to have been honor-killed by her family. Now it appears that it was Saman’s Uncle Danish who revealed to the police where her body was buried.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Il Giornale:

“The uncle revealed where the body of Saman was”: Breakthrough in the case

It was reportedly Danish Hasnain who led investigators to the farmhouse in the search for the human remains of Saman Abbas: But the prosecutor remains cautious.

by Angela Leucci
November 20, 2022

A year and a half of silence, of efforts to misdirect. But in the end, he reportedly talked. It was reportedly Danish Hasnain who led investigators to the place where his niece, Saman Abbas was hidden.

As reported by Quarto Grado [4th Grade]: Danish, considered the material perpetrator of the honor crime, was accompanied to Novellara by the penitentiary police of Reggio Emilia. Here, in the town where the Abbas family lived and worked, he reportedly indicated the vicinity of the abandoned farmhouse where, with Ikram Ijaz and Nomanhulaq Nomanhulaq, he allegedly dug a hole and hid the body of his niece.

The news was confirmed by qualified sources. The operations for recovery of the remains were initiated yesterday and will continue today: the Carabinieri and fire department are at work. Saman had disappeared the night between April 30 and May 1, 2021. Immediately, investigators focused on the theory of murder: The 18-year-old Pakistani girl had been opposed to a forced marriage with an older cousin.

Quarto Grado had already been in the vicinity of that abandoned farmhouse, as well as the program “Who Saw It?”, also because the investigators had already been there during the search in the summer of 2021. Quarto Grado had noticed that the “ruin had not been inspected in a thorough manner. The searches of the structure, in fact. were particularly difficult due to the accumulation of ten years of debris, so much that a later inspection by Carabinieri and the fire department had met with negative results.” “Who Saw It?” broadcast the images on May 6, 2022 and sent them to the competent authorities.

The farmhouse, very close to the residence in which the Abbas family lived, reportedly has some rooms still intact, with flooring and a roof, while others are open to the sky and overgrown with vegetation. The place was usually used by Danish and his relatives to meet and drink alcohol, prohibited by the Islamic religion. In one of these rooms, without flooring and deep in debris, the 2-meter-deep hole was dug, the famous 6 feet under the ground usually dug to bury someone.

This important breakthrough has nothing to do with the arrest in Pakistan of Shabbar Abbas, Saman’s father. Yesterday afternoon, the prosecutor of Reggio Emilia, Gaetano Calogero Paci, flatly denied it. “It has absolutely nothing to do with it.”

Comrade, Can You Spare a Dime?

The article below describes an interesting debate in Germany about whether politicians should be required to have had previous employment outside of government, and whether their pay should be commensurate with what they received in the private sector.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from JournalistenWatch. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

The Greens would starve: majority for paying politicians after their previous job

A large majority of Germans are in favour of the baby babblers up there, and before they make themselves comfortable in the political hammock, having had a real, real job outside in professional life. They should then also be paid accordingly in their parliamentary life. Consequence: left-green permanent politicians would thus be on a starvation diet.

“Someone who goes into politics without having a profession I can do without. Unfortunately, I know more than enough of them!”. This statement comes from former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt (SPD). This was based on the deep conviction that politicians could but return to their old jobs if necessary, to ensure their independence.

According to a current INSA survey, this is exactly what a large majority of German citizens see, just like Schmidt, who was a trained economist. 44% of those surveyed think that state and federal ministers should have both a degree and professional experience. 26% want anyone who wants to be a minister to have at least a degree, if no professional experience. For 15%, work experience outside of politics is a must for ministers. And a meager 7% don’t give a damn if a ministerial figure has neither a degree nor professional experience. [I guess that this 7% are those that have no degrees or professional experience either and just want to be lifelong parasites themselves, just like their “role models”.]

A large majority also find the proposal by Prof. Niklas Potrafke from the Ifo Institute (Institute for Economic Research) extremely interesting. He stimulates a debate about politicians’ salaries, which should be based “on the salary of the last job held outside of politics”.

Instead of a whopping Bundestag Parliamentary Allowance, currently €10,323 per month, things would look more than bleak for some politicians, especially for the hammock farts from the Left-Green spectrum. According to a statement by the Bild newspaper, for SPD boss Saskia Esken this demand would mean that the state-certified computer scientist would have to make do with €2,500 per month. The weighty, ungraduated Greens leader Ricarda Lang would, like her Greens boss and colleague Omid Nouripour, along with untrained and uneducated comrade big-mouth Kevin Kühnert, depend solely on minimal state support. In this long, long series of career failures that have made themselves comfortable like maggots in the political self-service shop, we find Claudia Roth (Greens), who dropped out of theater studies, history and German studies, or Katrin Göring-Eckardt (Greens), who studied forever [on taxpayers’ money, and has learned NOTHING of value].

Meanwhile, CDU leader Friedrich Merz — thanks to his network built up over decades, he was able to secure supervisory board positions at Cologne/Bonn Airport GmbH, at WEPA Industrieholding SE, or most recently at Blackrock, the world’s asset manager — would have to be remunerated by taxpayers with around €83,000. Justice Minister Marco Buschmann — the pseudo-liberal has the profession that the majority of political personnel in the Bundestag have studied, namely lawyer, would come to around €10,000.

Has Saman Abbas’ Body Been Found?

In April of 2021 a young woman named Saman Abbas, of Pakistani origin but living in Italy, disappeared from Novellara and was assumed to have been “honor-killed” by her parents and male relatives. Now, at long last, her body may have been found.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Il Giornale:

Human remains found near Novellara: “Could be Saman”

November 19, 2022

During a new inspection in Novellara, forensic investigators have found human remains a short distance from the place where Saman Abbas lived with her family.

During last night’s new search in Novellara, a municipality in the province of Reggio Emilia, forensic police (RIS) discovered some human remains a short distance from the place where Saman Abbas lived with her family. According to what has emerged so far, the remains of a cadaver were reportedly found, and at this moment, investigations by the Carabinieri are underway to determine if they are the remains of the 18-year-old.

The arranged marriage

The young Pakistani girl, who had refused a marriage arranged by her parents in her country of origin, disappeared on the night of April 30, 2021. She was not heard from after that, and all searches produced negative results. The Prosecutor’s Office believes she was killed for refusing to assent to a marriage with a distant cousin ten years older than herself. Five of Saman’s relatives are under investigation for homicide. In the past few days, the father of the girl, Shabbar Abbas, was arrested in Pakistan. Identification has not yet been confirmed, and it will be necessary to conduct all the analyses and await the results of the autopsy. Only in the coming hours, or perhaps, in the coming days, will it be known with certainty whether a turning point in the mystery has finally been reached, and if the remains discovered are actually the body of the 18-year-old.

The new search and the discovery

The human remains discovered in Novellara were buried inside an abandoned shed, immersed in the fog, located a few hundred meters from the house in which the family of Saman lived. The Carabinieri from the investigative unit of the provincial command of Reggio Emilia, along with those from the Company of Guastalla, and coordinated by the prosecutor’s office led by Calogero Gaetano Paci, conducted a further search yesterday evening. The area has been closed off, and since the early morning hours, the Carabinieri, together with the forensic police (RIS) of Parma, are proceeding with the operation of recovering and finding the remains. The Fire Department of Reggio Emila has also arrived at the scene.

“It is premature to say anything; the activities are in progress: We will evaluate it after recovering the remains discovered. Obviously, we will proceed with all the necessary analyses, and it will take a few days,” the Reggio Emilia prosecutor, Gaetano Paci, stated, responding to AGI. The head of the Reggio-Emilia investigators is proceeding to the scene with the medical examiners.

It’s Money for Nothing and Everything’s Free!

When you give away lots of free stuff with no strings attached, you can expect a flood of eager would-be recipients to show up to grab their share of something-for-nothing. Right? I mean, it’s not rocket science, is it?

Well, in Germany it takes a special study by a federal agency to discover such an obvious truth.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit:

Foreigners in particular benefit from citizen income

Nuremberg

The number of recipients of social assistance with non-German citizenship has risen rapidly. Since 2015, the proportion has grown by 38% to 1.8 million people. 500,000 have been added in seven years. This is the result of new figures from the Federal Employment Agency.

So far, they have received Hartz IV and make up almost 40% of all people in Germany who live on “Stütze” [the crutch]. This does not include the up to one million Ukrainian refugees who immediately receive the higher basic security. As of January 1st, Hartz IV recipients should now, if the mediation committee agrees, receive citizen benefits and get significantly more. This goes back to the initiative of Labor Minister Hubertus Heil (SPD). For a family with three children there is then up to €3776.69 net.

The dispute between the federal government consisting of SPD, FDP and Greens as well as the CDU/CSU is not the significantly higher rates, but only the six-digit allowances. These are likely to further increase the number of recipients, because so far the wealthy have been excluded from Hartz IV.

Citizens’ money accelerates immigration into social systems

In addition to the standard requirement, which has increased by 12% compared to Hartz IV, the basic income also includes the cold rent of up to €1272.60 and heating costs of €291.09 per month. These are numbers for a couple with three children. They are now entitled to an apartment of 110 square meters. But even a single person should receive €1177.31 with rent including heating.

Experts expect that the new basic income will accelerate immigration into the social systems. The economist Bernd Raffelhüschen told Bild: “The refugees are concentrated in countries with generous social benefits, mainly Germany and Scandinavia.”

The Berlin AfD boss Kristin Brinker published the new social welfare rates on Telegram, and wrote: “Asylum seekers are also entitled to the new citizen’s benefit in Germany from January. How long do you think it will take for this spreadsheet to be translated into all the languages of the world?”

The Blunder That Could’ve Cost John Fetterman the Election

I’ve made no bones about my opinion of John Fetterman and the “election” that sent him off to exercise his notable oratorical skills in the United States Senate. However, there is another side to the Oz vs. Fetterman story, which concerns the relationship between Dr. Oz and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

My sentiment concerning the Pennsylvania senatorial election was: “Why can’t they both lose?”

I always like to present a variety of opinions at Gates of Vienna, so here is David Boyajian’s take on Fetterman, Oz, and Turkey.

The Blunder That Could’ve Cost John Fetterman the Election

by David Boyajian

“If John Fetterman lacks the stomach to expose the entire Oz-Turkish love affair, particularly Ankara’s support of ISIS, he may lose… and will deserve it.”

My Double Trouble: Dr. Mehmet Oz and Turkey said that back in October.

It spelled out Oz’s alarming relationships with the Turkish government, President Erdogan, and shady Turkish organizations and Turks. Benjamin Baird’s Behind Dr. Oz’s Curtain and other writers had covered similar ground.

Yes, soon-to-be Democratic Senator Fetterman did beat the Republican Oz, by roughly 240,000 votes out of 5.3 million — 51% to 46.6%.

Yet victory was never assured for the stroke-stricken Fetterman and his anemic campaign. Polls showed Oz gaining on, and sometimes beating, his opponent. Early voting before Fetterman’s dismal October 25 debate performance probably helped his campaign.

Oz has dual citizenship with Turkey. That’s vastly different than dual citizenship with, say, France or Norway. Turkey is a rogue NATO member, unashamedly repressive and corrupt, and has long supported international terrorist organizations such as ISIS.

Oz’s foreign ties, some of which we’ll list, were his most glaring vulnerability. Yet Fetterman never exposed those ties.

Had he hammered home Oz’s troubling foreign relationships in blistering attack ads, Fetterman would undoubtedly have won more decisively.

Points Fetterman Missed

  • Ahmet S. Yayla, Turkey’s counterterrorism chief from 2010-2013, acknowledged in 2020 that “Turkey was a central hub for… over 50,000 ISIS foreign fighters, and… ISIS logistical materials… making Turkey and ISIS practically allies.”

As a Turkish citizen, Oz had a responsibility to condemn Turkey’s ongoing support of ISIS and other terrorists. Yet he remained silent.

  • I’ve never found forthright criticisms by Oz of Turkey’s myriad human rights abuses, corruption, and mistreatment of Christians.
  • In 2019, Oz said, “I met with our leader [President Erdogan] in Turkey.” Our? Erdogan is Oz’s “leader”? The doctor offered to “help Turkey as a representative.” As a U.S. senator, perhaps?
  • The photo of a beaming Oz double-clasping the hand of his corrupt, ISIS-supporting “leader,” President Erdogan, speaks for itself.
  • In 2019, Oz embraced Turkish “Justice” Minister Abdulhamit Gul in New York City. The U.S. Treasury Department penalized Gul in 2018 for his role in Turkey’s unjust detention of Andrew Brunson, an American Christian pastor.
  • Oz produces lifestyle programming on the BiP communications platform. Erdogan’s Turkish Wealth Fund owns BiP.
  • Oz’s extensive real estate holdings in Turkey include a $2 million dormitory leased at no cost to the corrupt regime’s Education Ministry.
  • Why did Oz hold a meeting with Turkey’s U.S. Ambassador, Hasan Murat Mercan, and why did the ambassador immediately phone Oz when he announced his candidacy? Mercan, incidentally, was a founder of Erdogan’s corrupt, Islamist AKP party.
  • As a special guest at a 2019 Turkish fundraiser, Oz sat beside Murat Guzel, co-host of the event. Guzel was reportedly questioned by Federal agents and given immunity in an investigation regarding political donations.
  • Oz was once elected to the High Advisory Council of the Istanbul-based World Turkish Business Council (DTiK). The latter is affiliated with Turkey’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEiK), an arm of Erdogan’s regime.

The doctor spoke at DTiK’s 2019 conference in NY City co-hosted by Gunay Evinch. Erdogan hired Evinch’s law firm, Saltzman & Evinch, to collect intel on some of Turkey’s critics in America.

  • Republican Mike Pompeo, the ex-CIA director and Trump’s Secretary of State, said Oz must explain the “scope and depth” of his relationship to Turkey because they raise “national security concerns.”
  • Enes Kanter Freedom, the NBA basketball star, former Turkish citizen, and Erdogan critic, tweeted, “[Dr. Oz] is a Foreign Agent and he works for Dictator [Erdogan].”

Also: “Whatever Erdogan wants… Dr. Oz is going to do.”

Just a few of these facts in skillfully produced attack ads would have demolished Oz’s persona and campaign.

The bottom line: Voters won’t tolerate candidates who look to an atrocious foreign government — in this case, Turkey’s — for leadership and personal gain. Voters must first, however, learn the facts in hard-hitting campaign ads.

Update on the Lola Murder

A 12-year-old schoolgirl named Lola was abducted and brutally murdered in Paris last month, allegedly by a culture-enriching Algerian woman whose deportation had been ordered, but who was still in the country.

Murder of Lola: Suspect’s sister Dahbia B. placed in detention center pending expulsion

by Steve Tenre

Friha B., older sister of the suspect, should be expelled soon to Algeria, due to “lack of a residence permit”.

Friha B., the older sister of the principal suspect in the murder of little Lola, has been placed in an administrative detention center and should be expelled soon to Algeria, Le Figaro learned Friday November 18 from a source close to the case, confirming a report by France.info.

Twenty-six years of age, the young woman was arrested last month for “lack of a residence permit”. Friha B had previously been placed in custody within the course of the investigation of the murder of Lola (12), murdered on October 14 in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Unlike her sister Dahbia, Friha was freed from custody and was not charged in the case.

It is in Friha’s apartment, in which she lived with her sister Dahbia, that little Lola was murdered on October 14. According to statements made by the principal suspect, as reported by the Paris prosecutor, Dahbia B. reportedly admitted “dragging the victim to her sister’s apartment, in the same apartment building as the child. She reportedly forced her to shower before committing sexual attacks upon her and other acts of violence that resulted in her death.” Some hours later, the body of the adolescent was discovered in a trunk.

Italian Neo-Nazis Partner With the Azov Battalion

Long-time readers are aware of my aversion for participating in the Screaming Nazi Heeber-Jeebers. Bearing that in mind, I find the following video interesting only because of the reverence expressed by bien-pensants throughout the West for the brave Ukrainians fighting for democracy against the demonic Russians.

The affection of Westerners for all things Ukrainian includes a ritual denial that the Ukrainian paramilitary (and now actual military) group known as the Azov Battalion has anything to do with neo-fascism or neo-Nazism. That’s not what the Italian police found, however, after their recently-concluded investigation into a neo-fascist group that partnered with Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

Do-Over in Berlin

This seems to be the season for election high jinks. The most notorious example, of course, is the recent midterm elections in the USA. And then there was the presidential election in Brazil. And now a local legislative election in Berlin has been annulled, and will have to be repeated.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Election of the Berlin House of Representatives will be repeated completely

Berlin

The Constitutional Court in Germany has ordered the election to the Berlin House of Representatives to be repeated in its entirety. According to the dpa news agency, the judges decided that last year’s vote, which had led to various mishaps, was “invalid”. It is the first time in the history of the Federal Republic that voting for a state parliament has had to be repeated.

In September of last year, not only the Bundestag but also the House of Representatives were re-elected in the capital. A great deal of chaos ensued. The allegations ranged from long queues, through polling stations that opened too late, to incorrect or even missing ballot papers.

Berlin election is expected to be repeated in February

According to court president Ludgera Selting, the glitches were relevant to the mandate, so they had an impact on the distribution of seats in the state parliament. The vote for the House of Representatives must now be repeated within 90 days. The expected date is February 12, 2023.

The Bundestag recently decided to repeat the federal elections in 327 Berlin voting districts. The deputies followed a recommendation of the Election Review Committee. The traffic light* parties rejected a new election in the entire city. [for very obvious reasons I should imagine.]

According to a survey by the opinion research institute INSA on behalf of the Bild newspaper, the CDU can hope to become the strongest force in Berlin. If a new state parliament were elected next Sunday, the Union would get 21%. Greens and SPD each reach 20%. [You cannot help these gluttons for more punishment any longer, now, can you?] Die Linke (the left) could count on 12% and the AfD 10%. The FDP would also be represented again in Parliament with 7%.

Truckers’ Strike in Brazil?

In certain respects, the situation in Brazil is similar to what happened in Canada last winter. Like their Canadian counterparts, truckers in Brazil are staging protests against the actions of the federal government (in this case, the recent fraudulent votes used to elect Lula as president). Also like the Canadians, the Brazilian truckers’ access to their bank accounts has been blocked.

The key phrase in the following TV report is “nothing more to lose”. When a government creates through its actions a large cohort of citizens who have nothing else to lose, it puts itself in grave danger. You’d think the Brazilian Powers That Be would have the sense to step back from this particular precipice, but leftist apparatchiks are often quite stupid, so who knows?
