The following phone call to the Lowell Green show on CFRA talk radio in Ottawa was made after a soldier was murdered by a jihadi in Montreal on Monday, but before a soldier was murdered by a jihadi in Ottawa on Wednesday.
The caller’s words are even more apropos now.

Dear friends,
Thank you for attending this very important meeting.
It is great to be back in Tennessee, the Volunteer State.
I am traveling from Los Angeles to DC, but I insisted on coming to Tennessee for a very good reason.
Two centuries ago, General Andrew Jackson was tasked with raising an army to liberate New Orleans. When he sent the call out to Tennessee, five times the number expected from your State showed up. The Tennessean Volunteers were noted for their valor in combat.
Many things change in two centuries, but the volunteer spirit and the valor of Tennessee has not. That is why I am here tonight.
I am not going to beat around the bush. I need your help. We have a rendezvous with history here today. Outside, a war is going on. War has been declared on us. The situation is far worse than you can imagine.
For over a decade, I have been warning against Islam. This cruel totalitarian ideology wants to turn the entire world into an Islamic caliphate, ruled by Sharia law.
What this means can currently be seen in the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. There, people are beheaded and women and children are sold as slaves, in the same way as Islam’s founder Muhammad did in the 7th century.
America and its allies are currently bombing the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. Dutch F16 planes are part of this offensive. My party supports this wholeheartedly. We support the United States. But there is more to be done.
The free world is in danger.
Our Judeo-Christian civilization is in danger. Islam is threatening our home countries. So we have to do more than eradicate the dark forces of the Islamic State in the Middle East.
As a matter of fact, our first task is to protect our own nations, our own freedoms, our own children, our own civilization, here, at home. That should be our first priority.
What is happening in Syria and Iraq today is what we will suffer in the future if we do not wake up to the danger. We have welcomed in our countries and cities an ever growing number of people whose Islamic values are totally incompatible with ours.
Islam is a mortal threat to Christianity, to Judaism, to Humanity. Islam is incompatible with democracy and freedom.
Already there are significant Islamic populations in every major city in Western Europe. And also in many cities in Australia, Canada and the United States.
Islam is taking over European societies. In my own country, the Netherlands, Muhammad is the most popular name among newborn boys in major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague.
This is also the case in the Belgian capital Brussels, the Norwegian capital Oslo, the British capital London and as a matter of fact even in the whole of Great Britain.
The Prodigal Returns
I go away for one day, and wouldn’t you know it, a vicious violent extremist decides to commit murderous acts of extremism in and around the parliament building in Ottawa. Despite the tragedy of yesterday’s events, we can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the incident had nothing to do with Islam.
Last night in the motel room I kept flipping back and forth from Fox to CNN, watching all the coverage on Ottawa. Some of it was good, some not so good.
I’ll have more to say on this topic eventually. In the meantime, see Vlad’s place for all the details. It’s his hometown, after all.

Interview With a Kurdish-German Biker
The day before yesterday we posted a pair of translated articles about members of a Kurdish biker gang in Cologne called the Median Empire who traveled to Syria to fight with their fellow Kurds against the Islamic State in the siege of Kobani.

According to some sources, Islamic State forces launched a mortar attack that hit the US embassy in Baghdad. But other sources say the mortar rounds fell short, and did no damage to the embassy. Meanwhile, American arms intended for the besieged Kurds in Kobani were dropped behind ISIS’ lines by mistake, and are now in the hands of the Islamic State.
In other news, a spokesman for the Taliban in Afghanistan was fired from his job for pledging allegiance to the Caliph of the Islamic State.

An Antiquated Theory Shaped by Revenge, War and Violence
Yesterday we posted a video of an Iraqi politician who called for secular law in Iraq to replace the fiqh. He told a TV audience that without such a change, ISIS could never be defeated.
Tonight we have two interviews with a theologian of Islam in Austria who makes similar points. Both men see the traditional interpretation of Islamic scripture and law as the problem. Both acknowledge that the Islamic State is following the exact theological traditions of Islamic law as they have been understood for the past fourteen centuries.
Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff sends this introduction to the interviews:
Ednan Aslan is a professor of Islamic pedagogy at the University of Vienna. The Austrian Counterjihad has had many disagreements with him, not least my personal “experience” with him when five years ago, in an interview, he likened me to Osama bin Laden for speaking out about Islam at a seminar.
Who would have thought that one day we would be grateful to Mr. Aslan for proving Mr. Obama and Mr. Cameron wrong, wrong, wrong.
Mr. Aslan isn’t just a Muslim form the streets; he is an expert, just like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the new caliph of the Islamic State. And he comes to the same conclusion as Mr. Caliph: IS is all about Islam. It’s straight from the heart of Islam.

September 26, 2014Die Presse: A Viennese imam praises Hamas and thinks “firing off rockets against Israel should be applauded.” The Islamic religious community, questioned about this, finds the imam “enlightened and reform-oriented.” How should we understand this?
Ednan Aslan: Compared to other imams and their sermons, which propagate an Islamic state and are in stark contrast to democracy and the reality of life here, this man apparently seems truly harmless to the religious community. The religious community knows the problems quite well, but can take no public position and is, in my opinion, at a loss, because they must take into account other interests of the religious societies. Transmissions and other communications of the Muslim societies which take a position on recent developments are a sign that they do not feel adequately represented by the religious community.
Die Presse: What other interests?
Ednan Aslan: The religious community consists essentially of three organizations — Milli Görüs, the Muslim Brotherhood and Atib [Turkish Islamic Union in Austria]. These three groups — not least due to the influence of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan — are becoming ever more similar, so that they can almost no longer be differentiated. And all of them are demanding an Islamic State. If the president of the religious community (Fuat Sanac) picks a fight with them, he will not be re-elected in 2015. Directions for the configuration of the religious community do not come to these organizations from the community itself, but from foreign political centers. The religious community is more or less just a shield for the activities of such groups.
Die Presse: How do you define “Islamic State”?
Ednan Aslan: A state under Islamic law, as the head of IS, al-Baghdadi would like it.
Die Presse: Including sharia, the caliphate, holy war, stoning, etc.?
Ednan Aslan: Yes.
Die Presse: If the religious community consists of such groups, urging such a state, they can hardly find critical things to say. They would have to distance themselves from themselves.
Ednan Aslan: There is some truth in that. I have not noticed either the organizations or the community distancing themselves from political Islam and/or an Islamic state in the classical sense. If it is impossible to be free of the illusion of a highly idealized Islamic state, then there must always be the possibility of violent attempts to establish such a state. The religious community is of the opinion that sharia is not possible in Austria, because Muslims are not in the majority here. We must understand the implication of this remark. It implies that Muslims in Austria cannot live according to their own laws, but would like to.
Die Presse: Do you consider the citing of the Koran by the terrorist group IS to justify its activities legitimate?
Ednan Aslan: From a theological perspective, it is 100% legitimate. Everything IS is doing and encouraging is theologically correct and appears in all the basic works of Islam. A caliph has one military obligation — no peace treaty. He must use force to spread Islam and must make war at least once a year.
Die Presse: Does that mean that Islam is basically a religion of violence?
Ednan Aslan: No. Islam is a religion of peace. It just has to seriously question its antiquated theory shaped by revenge, war and violence and re-interpret it in tune with the reality of our modern life. If not, Muslims will remain slaves to a theology which is shaped by revenge, war and violence. The consequences are fatal. Muslims risk losing their credibility all over Europe.

Geert Wilders is the founder of the Dutch Party for Freedom, the fourth largest in that country’s parliament, and perhaps the Netherlands’ most controversial political figure. Wilders, whose 2008 film Fitna confrontationally opposed the encroachment of Islamic culture into Europe, has become an international figure while being prosecuted for “hate speech.” Calling himself a “right-wing liberal,” Wilders advocates curbing immigration into the Netherlands and other Western countries from Islamic nations, closing radical mosques, denaturalizing violent Muslims, and reducing the power of the European Union, among other things.
In America this week for a one-week tour, Wilders chatted with The American Spectator about Islam, the civilizational conflict, and what must be done to keep the West free.
How big is the threat to the West from Islamic civilizational jihad? Is our focus on terrorism overlooking other, perhaps more insidious means?
Islam is a totalitarian ideology aiming for world domination. It wants to establish a worldwide caliphate, ruled by Sharia law — undemocratic, intolerant, barbarian, inhuman.
Terror and violence are just one method which is used in order to achieve this aim. There are other methods, such as conquest by hijra (immigration). Muhammad himself gave this example of hijra when he conquered Medina. This town, which was originally a tolerant and partly Jewish oasis, became Islamic after Muhammad and his followers settled there and took it over.
Western leaders focus solely on terrorism, but fail to see the purpose which terrorism is serving: Islamic word dominance. They should focus on fighting the global imperialist plans of Islam and treat terrorism as one of the means used to achieve this goal.

Just to keep you all updated. Tommy was verbally abused on the wing by Muslims, although they are being referred to as Asians! The Governor and all the Wardens were pre-warned about Tommy being brought to Bedford and the situation that could arise, that’s a joke in itself.
Tommy was escorted to the Food Hall where there was a queue and was immediately met with a torrent of verbal abuse and threats. Whilst waiting in the queue some of the other inmates attacked him, he suffered minor injuries i.e. black eyes and bruising. Tommy was immediately taken to the block and the inmates that attacked him have had no punishment levied against them.
Tommy has not eaten for 3 days, as they will only serve him Halal food.

“No More Will We Tolerate This!”
As I reported a few hours ago, last Sunday, October 19 — yesterday, as it was then — Mothers Against Radical Islam and Sharia (MARIAS) rallied at Speakers’ Corner in London. Anne Marie Waters, who is standing for election for UKIP, was one of the featured speakers at the event.
In my post I referred to two videos of the speakers, one taken with a cell phone that had fairly good audio, while the other had better visual quality, but was very difficult to hear.
Thanks to the magic of modern video wizardry, Vlad Tepes was able to combine the two recordings of Ms. Waters, and enhanced the sound so that we can hear most of what she says.
She’s a gutsy woman. This is an inspiring clip.

A 25-year-old Quebec man named Martin Rouleau deliberately ran over two Canadian soldiers today in a parking lot in a suburb of Montreal. Mr. Rouleau was said to be a recent convert to something that has nothing to do with Islam. The police gave chase, and he lost control of his car and wrecked it. When he got out, he drew a big knife, and the cops shot him dead. Two soldiers had been injured by Mr. Rouleau when he ran them down, one of them seriously.
In other Canadian news, a man in Vancouver sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries when a homemade pipe bomb blew up in his face. The police have been unable to determine why he was handling the bomb, but it is certain the incident had no connection with Islam.

Cologne: Bizarre but true: Ethnic Kurdish Cologne bikers from the club Median Empire are banding together and fighting against the murderous ISIS terrorists in Syria.
On Friday Kawan A., the boss of the club, posted a shocking photo. It shows what is apparently a female Kurdish peshmerga fighter who had been beheaded by ISIS terrorists. The comment written by another member of the club reads: “ One lovely rose after another is being uprooted from the garden of Kurdistan. Humanity, and above all we Kurds, will never forgive this, you animals!”
Kawan himself was traveling recently in the crisis area. According to his lawyer, Gabor Subai, he was in one of the refugee camps on the Turkey-Syria border, where he organized and passed out aid packages for Kurds who had been driven from their homes.
