Stephen Coughlin: Part 8 of the Red Pill Briefing — Apples and Oranges

The following video is the eighth section of the “Red Pill” briefing given by Maj. Stephen Coughlin to the Wiener Akademikerbund on May 23 under the auspices of Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa, following his participation with the team at the OSCE conference in Vienna. Previously: Parts 1 and 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7.

In his latest video, Maj. Coughlin continues his analysis of the Alinsky-inspired destruction of reason that has infected the “interfaith” movement. The syncretists who push “Chrislam” and similar conceits want us to think that we can believe in both Islam and Christianity, but that is simply not possible for anyone who retains the capacity to reason — we may believe in one, or the other, or neither, but not both at once.

Many thanks to Henrik Ræder Clausen for recording this video, and to Vlad Tepes for editing and uploading it:

Maj. Stephen Coughlin is a retired U.S. Army officer and the author of Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of Jihad, which incorporates material from the “Red Pill” brief, as well as much additional material on the Muslim Brotherhood’s penetration of Western governments, transnational bodies, NGOs, and the “interfaith” industry.

Unlearning

MC’s latest essay concerns the culture of lies that pervades the 21st-century West, and the political, moral, and spiritual pollution that afflicts us because of it.

Unlearning
by MC

Ignorance is never bliss, and is extremely dangerous to life and limb. But what of propaganda? What of lies believed, and never unlearned?

I have just been reading an article about the BBC, and their treatment of Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole, where the BBC implied that Florence Nightingale was a racist. History makes no such claim, and what is more, provides no evidence that the two ever exchanged any dialogue. But the story makes for good political copy:

The attitude to Nightingale is a mystery. A woman who spent her whole life after the Crimean war taking on the war office and reactionary men in government in order to improve conditions for the average British soldier, should be a hero of the Left, and of feminists. Instead she has been vilified, because she came from a wealthy background and became a Victorian establishment figure, and because she had a brief meeting with a woman from the Caribbean.

Of course this situation says nothing about the two women or their real worth but everything about the strange ideology of the left in the UK today, skewed with envy and hatred but also sunk in historical ignorance, unable to fathom the ideas and behaviour of our ancestors, imaginatively or through facts.

It is these same lying leftists who have been in charge of our children’s ‘education’ for decades. It struck me how difficult a situation one is in when one is not just ‘ignorant’ but has had one’s mind filled with arrant garbage. Garbage disposal is never easy.

When one reads widely, both non-fiction and good (honest) fiction, one gets a feel for truth, and one can compare what one has been taught against what one reads. But this is a rare skill, no longer encouraged and is thus not generally the case, and a historical textbook is ‘lucky’ if it sells more than 6,000 copies in the UK.

Most graduates do not read textbooks once they have finished their finals. And to get a good degree one must regurgitate only that which is politically educationally correct in order to appease the liars.

So the propaganda sticks, and eventually becomes mainstream as the affected individuals attain positions where their unwitting tendentiousness is uncorrected.

When I was lied to as a child, often by well-intentioned parents, there were usually consequences, mostly embarrassing, but sometimes potentially life-changing.

As one of four boys, I did not know what the physical difference was between girls and boys, so, as one does, I asked my mother, she told me that girls have ‘nothing’ there. At the age of eight I knew she was lying, because the girls at school teased me and dropped hints and allusions that I could not understand.

Eventually, as a young teenager, I persuaded a younger female cousin to assuage my curiosity, but had this gone wrong, I could have been liable for prosecution and lifelong disgrace (she was about 9-10 at the time).

In the fifties and sixties, school in UK was apolitical, and one was encouraged to seek ‘truth’ by looking at a situation from as many angles as possible. So I was taught creation myth and Darwinian myth at the same time, and told that there was no proof for either, and that I could form my own opinions.

Also, we did not study other religions, and history stopped at Corn Laws (1850s). If one wanted to know more, then read the books for one’s self. So I did.

There is an inseparable bond between truth and liberty, and by default, between lies and tyranny. Why would we want to teach lies to all and sundry when it is the truth that sets us free? We tell lies when we need people to do as we want them to, not as they want to do for themselves. Why did Barack Hussein Obama tell us that we could keep our own doctors? Because to him in his personal belief, the lies were justified by the perceived need for Obamacare. The ends justified the means.

Revolutionary change is not difficult to kick off, but is very difficult to steer, and almost impossible to stop until it runs out of steam. It is this indirection that means that the best laid revolutionary plans tend to come off the rails and become uncontrollable. We look at history: the Girondists, the theorists of the French revolution, found themselves mounting the steps of their guillotine when the violence-oriented Montagnards seized power and precipitated the Terror. We find the Mensheviks giving way to the extremist Bolsheviks and then the takeover of the Stalinists.

Stephen Coughlin: Part 7 of the Red Pill Briefing — “Interfaith Dialogue” and the Assault on Reason

The following video is the seventh installment of the “Red Pill” briefing given by Maj. Stephen Coughlin to the Wiener Akademikerbund on May 23 under the auspices of Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa, following his participation with the team at the OSCE conference in Vienna. Previously: Parts 1 and 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6.

In this clip, Maj. Coughlin discusses the “interfaith movement”. He traces its roots to Cultural Marxism and Saul Alinsky, and shows that its goal is the destruction of one’s right to have an identity, via an assault on reason. This destructive capability is now being exploited with great effectiveness by the Muslim Brotherhood.

“The Beginning of Our Liberation, Our D-Day”

The EU-skeptical and immigration-critical parties have at last formed a bloc in the European Parliament. The group will be known as “Europe of Nations and Freedoms”. Among the participating parties are the Front National (France), the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV, The Netherlands), Vlaams Belang (Belgium), and the Northern League (Lega Nord, Italy).

In this video excerpt from RT, Marine Le Pen makes the announcement in French, and Geert Wilders speaks in English:

Below is the press release sent out today by the PVV:

The leader of the Party for Freedom and Dutch politician Geert Wilders has announced he has formed a political group in the European Parliament.

The anti-EU Europe of Nations and Freedoms bloc includes the Front National of Marine Le Pen. Forming the group will give the MEPs more influence in the parliament.

It will also mean that the new bloc’s members have access to millions of euros in extra funding as well as more staff and speaking time. To be valid, a group needs 25 MEPs from at least seven different nationalities.

Mr Wilder said that the formation was a “historic moment”.

“Today it’s the beginning of our liberation, our D-Day,” he told reporters, adding that the new bloc would be the voice of the new “European resistance”, defending their countries’ sovereignty. The anti-Islam leader said the bloc would fight mass immigration as well as “Islamisation”.

Facing Off

The “niqab ban” has returned to the political debate in Canada. Only it’s not really a ban on the niqab; it’s a prohibition on any form of face-covering in citizenship ceremonies. The fact that only Muslims will likely be affected by it — how many people will want to wear ski masks or motorcycle helmets when taking the oath? — is incidental: the law is non-discriminatory.

Except, of course, that treating Muslims the same as all other citizens is considered by them to be “discrimination”. And their allies on the progressive Left are in increasing agreement with them: to insist that Muslims follow the same rules as everyone else is prima facie “discriminatory”.

In the following video, Brian Lilley of TheRebel.media talks about the face-covering issue and all the dishonesty and obfuscation that surrounds it:

Below are excerpts from a CBC report on the same issue:

‘Niqab ban’ returns as Conservative bill planned for Parliament’s final days

Multiculturalism Minister Tim Uppal and Infrastructure Minister Denis Lebel told reporters Wednesday that the Harper government would soon introduce new legislation to ban face-coverings at citizenship ceremonies.

With just days to go before Parliament rises for the summer — and MPs shift into election campaign mode — Multiculturalism Minister Tim Uppal says the Harper government has a last-minute bill coming to ban face coverings at citizenship ceremonies.

The Quebec government introduced legislation Wednesday to enshrine religious neutrality in provincial institutions, including a requirement for people giving or receiving provincial government services to have their faces uncovered. The law would mean some Muslim women, for example, could not choose to wear their niqabs in this context.

“We broadly support Quebec’s legislation regarding the uncovering of faces for giving and receiving public services,” Uppal told reporters after the Conservative caucus met on Parliament Hill.

“Our government will be moving forward in the coming days with legislation with respect to the face coverings at citizenship ceremonies, and we will consider what other measures may be necessary,” the minister said.

His colleague, Infrastructure Minister Denis Lebel, who represents a Quebec riding, told reporters the Conservative government is analyzing other possible measures in the future, but acknowledged that the federal bill would not go as far as Quebec’s for the time being.

When asked if this proposal was Islamophobic, Uppal said absolutely not.

“We’ve been very clear that… regarding citizenship ceremonies, at a time when people are pledging allegiance to this country, when they’re joining the Canadian family, we find that Canadians expect that anyone joining the Canadian family at that time would have their face uncovered,” he said.

In late 2011, then-immigration minister Jason Kenney issued a directive for citizenship judges to force Muslim women to remove their niqabs or any other face-covering garments, such as burkas, before they can recite the oath of citizenship to become Canadians.

That ban was struck down by a Federal Court judge in February, in a case brought by Zunera Ishaq, who argued that female officials could easily take her oath in private, and that the law doesn’t require that people be “seen” taking it.

Stephen Coughlin: Part 6 of the Red Pill Briefing — Graduates of Al-Azhar

The following video is the sixth part of the “Red Pill” briefing given by Maj. Stephen Coughlin to the Wiener Akademikerbund on May 23 under the auspices of Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa, following his participation with the team at the OSCE conference in Vienna. Previously: Parts 1 and 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5.

In the latest video, Maj. Coughlin continues his analysis of the “Explanatory Memorandum”, in which the American branch of the Muslim Brotherhood laid out its plan for “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within”. It turns out that a significant number of Muslim Brotherhood leaders in the United States and other Western countries are graduates of Al-Azhar University in Cairo — the most prestigious mainstream Sunni Islamic institution in the world.

Will the Sharia save Morsi?

On Tuesday an Egyptian court will make public the decision by the Grand Mufti of Cairo concerning the death penalty imposed on former President Mohamed Morsi and other members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Ashraf Ramelah’s latest essay examines the significance of the possible outcomes resulting from the Mufti’s decision.

Will the Sharia save Morsi?
by Ashraf Ramelah

Just three weeks ago the Egyptian court sentenced Egypt’s former Muslim Brotherhood president, Mohammed Morsi, to the death penalty after evidence presented from Egyptian intelligence documents proved him guilty of spying for Qatar, Iran and Turkey.

There are more than one hundred names on the list with him who are all convicted of the same crimes: murdering protesters, transferring top secret military documents to foreign countries, and burning the museum library which destroyed rare manuscripts and ancient artifacts.

Included on the death-penalty list is Mohamed Badie, the former Muslim Brotherhood spiritual head and his two deputies, Khairat El-Shater and Mahmud Ezzat, as well as Yousef Al Qaradawy, Hamas’ spiritual leader now living in Qatar.

As required by Egyptian law, the Egyptian court directly transmitted the list of the sentenced to the Grand Mufti of Cairo for his pronouncement of the Sharia opinion (approval) on the court’s verdict and sentencing. This past week, a few hours before the court resumed on June 2, a sealed envelope was passed to the court containing the Grand Mufti’s decision.

The court postponed the June 2 proceedings until June 16, and the envelope remains sealed at this moment. Some say the court did so to protect the country and President Al-Sisi who was in Germany on June 2 — waiting for his return in case violence erupts as a result of the announcement.

What are the chances that the Mufti has approved the death penalty? After all, the hundred or so Morsi aides and accomplices condemned to death along with the former president are guilty of nothing more than consistency with the cleric’s ideological and religious views.

If the death penalty is not approved and the civil court ignores the disapproval and goes forward to implement the death penalty, this could mean that the court is secured by the backing and protection of the President in order to serve justice. This in turn reveals that Al-Sisi is truly willing and able to go forward with cleaning corruption and rolling back religious extremism in an effort to reform the country.

Stephen Coughlin: Part 5 of the Red Pill Briefing — The Islamic Movement

The following video is the fifth installment of the “Red Pill” briefing given by Maj. Stephen Coughlin to the Wiener Akademikerbund on May 23 under the auspices of Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa, following his participation with the team at the OSCE conference in Vienna. Previously: Parts 1 and 2, Part 3, Part 4.

In this video, Maj. Coughlin discusses “The Project” (1982) and the “Explanatory Memorandum” (1991), which are European and American instances of the larger plan of the Muslim Brotherhood, which sees itself as leading something called the “Islamic Movement”:

The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.

Submission Day

I don’t know how widely it was reported on TV (I get all my news from the Internet), but most readers are undoubtedly aware that the U.S. embassy in Jakarta moved its 4th of July celebration a month earlier, to June 4th, to accommodate Ramadan. It seems that the ambassador wanted to avoid offending Muslim sensibilities by holding festivities during their holy month.

I said at the time: Why not change the name of it to “Submission Day”, and hold it just before Ramadan every year? That would be ideologically appropriate and would make the holiday convenient for everyone.

The following video on the topic was taken from Todd Starnes’ program on Fox News. Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading and annotating this video:

As Vlad says:

“Submission to irrational religious authority forges the chains of your own servitude. Your very existence will be at the whim of your masters, for they will not love you for your obsequiousness.”

Below are excerpts from Todd Starnes’ opinion piece from the Fox News website on the same issue:

US Embassy in Jakarta moves Fourth of July celebration to June to accommodate Muslims

The United States Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia celebrated Independence Day a month early — to accommodate the country’s Muslim population.

It seems the Fourth of July is right smack in the middle of Ramadan this year so the embassy decided to move America’s birthday to the Fourth of June.

“We are celebrating a month early to respect the holy month of Ramadan,” Ambassador Robert Blake told a gathering at the embassy.

It sounds like every day is April Fool’s Day at the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta. I wouldn’t be surprised if they observe Good Friday on a Tuesday.

The Jakarta Post reported on the holiday swap. I suppose that Muslims would be too busy with their fasting and prayers to enjoy an all-beef frank and fireworks.

And as the Obama administration constantly reminds us — we simply cannot offend Islamic sensibilities.

“Islamophobia” Rising Among Czechs and Slovaks

Last October Takuan Seiyo wrote about the push to stop the growth of Islam in the Czech Republic. Our Czech correspondent Gemini just sent this brief update about the situation in both Czechia and Slovakia:

I wish I could write more to you about what has recently been happening in the Czech Republic when it comes to citizens’ anti-Islamic activities. It looks very optimistic over here. A strictly anti-Islamic block has been established.

In Slovakia, things have suddenly started to get into motion, too! An anti-Islamic and anti-immigration rally, backed by no political groups, has been announced. So far more than 6,000 people have signed up on the Facebook page to attend it (a week before). It will be something to remember, I expect!

Right now I am somehow too exhausted to translate articles, but I wanted to drop you at least a few lines…

The home address of the Counterjihad blogger and activist Pamela Geller has been tweeted by the Islamic State. An ISIS tweet posted Ms. Geller’s address in New York, including her apartment number, and advised believers to go forth and kill her. The Twitter account involved has since been taken down. Ms. Geller was relieved to learn that the threat had nothing to do with Islam.

In other Twitter news, a British Muslim activist for MPAC said in a tweet that agents for the Mossad had entered his home while he was asleep and removed one of his shoes.
