The Pandemic that Never Was Can Never End

The Nobel Prize in medicine has just been shared by the Hungarian scientist Katalin Karikó for her part in the creation of the experimental mRNA treatment intended to mitigate the effects of infection with the Wuhan Coronavirus.

Our Hungarian correspondent László sends his take on the topic.

The Pandemic that Never Was Can Never End

by László

The Face of the Budapest NWO mural has just gotten the Stalin Nobel Prize. The Hungarian state media can’t stop praising the alleged Mother of the deathjab vaxx, Katalin Karikó. Her sermons life-wisdoms, targeting the young, are being broadcast all over Hungary, e.g. “in life, concentrate on things you can change” and “one must learn to handle stress in order to achieve great things.” A cult, indeed. The Hungarian Conservative writes:

After the announcement yesterday of Katalin Karikó being awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2023, a wave of congratulations poured in from Hungarian politicians. She also shared some thoughts about her scientific journey and life philosophy in a brief, first telephone interview.

And the stream of lies from Officialdom cannot stop pouring out:

Hungarian President Katalin Novák was among the first to congratulate the Hungarian researcher: ‘Katalin Karikó is the first Hungarian woman to receive the Nobel Prize. We are immensely proud that our nation has now another Nobel laureate whose research has probably saved the lives of millions of people. Thank you, Katalin!’

“Saved”? OK, then.

You also get to know, straight from PM Viktor Orbán’s mouth, what he considers the “top of the world” now:

‘Congratulations to the first Hungarian woman Nobel laureate! We are proud!’, wrote Viktor Orbán on social media, sharing a photo with Katalin Karikó. The Prime Minister added to the picture: ‘A Hungarian woman at the top of the world.’

The top of the New World Order, he means, I guess.

Emmanuel “Unvaxed” Macron

Jean Lassalle is a French politician who formerly served as a deputy in the National Assembly and was a candidate in last year’s presidential election. In the following excerpt from a French talk show, Mr. Lassalle makes the startling assertion that President Emmanuel “Toy Boy” Macron has never been “vaccinated” against COVID-19.

Many thanks to M and HeHa for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling.

M includes these explanatory notes about events mentioned in this clip:

Hunger strike: Lassalle undertook a 39-day hunger strike in March and April 2006, in protest against a threat to jobs in his constituency.

The march refers to: In 2013, Lassalle walked 5,000 km around France for eight months from April to December to meet people.

The Rabbit Done Died

Earlier today a “Dutch” medical student named Fouad L. allegedly went on a shooting rampage in Rotterdam, killing two people in an apartment before setting it on fire, and then shooting and killing another person at the Medical Center of Erasmus University. Fouad L. was a student at Erasmus, and the victim shot there was reportedly an instructor. After a manhunt, Fouad L. was arrested by police.

The culture-enriching student was previously known to police — he had a criminal record that involved abuse of a rabbit.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from De Telegraaf:

Suspect in Rotterdam shooting drama earlier abused a rabbit

Rotterdam: The 32-year-old Rotterdam resident arrested Thursday for the shooting in Rotterdam is a medical student who, in December 2021, was convicted of abusing his own rabbit. He received a sentence of 40 hours of community service. That is confirmed by several sources of De Telegraaf and from court documents.

The man, Fouad L., was arrested at that time on information from a neighbor lady. That is reportedly the complainant who now, almost two years later, together with her daughter, has been shot to death. The police will neither confirm nor deny it but are conducting the investigation in this direction.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office will only say that the suspect is known to police. The man abused the animal under the influence of a liter of hard alcohol. He kicked the rabbit and laid a brick on the animal. A veterinarian was forced to euthanize the rabbit.

Fouad L. told the police judge that he came home in Deltshaven in August of that year and drank a bottle of spirits and beer. He then ended up in a psychosis. A neighbor lady saw the way he mistreated the rabbit, and called the police. The Rotterdam resident was also suspected of shooting a pigeon with a crossbow. Despite the testimony of a witness, the judge acquitted him of this.

The prosecutor demanded that the other rabbits be confiscated, but the judge ruled that this was not necessary. The 32-year-old man was previously convicted of other small offenses. L. is now suspected of involvement in two deadly shooting incidents in the port city. On Thursday, he allegedly shot a woman, her daughter, and a teacher to death and was apprehended after a manhunt.

The Dialectics of the Communist Revolution in North America

Last month our friend Vlad Tepes spoke at Rally in the Valley in Pembroke, Ontario. His topic was the Communist revolution that has already taken place in Canada and the USA, and the role that Hegelian dialectics plays in it.

The video below contains the audio of Vlad’s talk. Note: The date that appears on the screen while the video is playing is incorrect; the rally took place on August 25, 2023.

Here We Go Again

If you live on the East Coast, you’ve probably heard about Tropical Storm Ophelia, which came up through the Carolinas and is now in the process of looping through Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.

The real action is pretty far away from Schloss Bodissey, but still, we’re getting a lot of rain, and some gusty winds, so anything is possible. If the lights go dark at Gates of Vienna tonight, that’s almost certainly the reason.

I went out late this afternoon and didn’t see any trees or big branches down, so I’m not really worried. On the other hand, the phone company’s antiquated equipment may decide that this is a good time to crap out. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Comms Failure

Long-time readers are aware of my persistent issues with phone and internet connectivity. The phone system out here in the Far Boondocks is roughly equivalent to two tin cans connected by a piece of string. It doesn’t take much stress on that string to zap my internet connection.

Last Friday, right after I finished moderating the comments that had come in overnight, my phone and Internet went out. Clear blue sky, no wind, beautiful day — and the phone went out, just like that.

I’ve learned from experience that when the phone goes out on a Friday, I can expect it to stay off all weekend. The phone company doesn’t send technicians out here to fix outages in their off hours. Repairs are scheduled for normal work hours, Monday through Friday. So if the phone goes out on Tuesday, it might be fixed on Wednesday, if I’m lucky. But if it goes out on Friday, I can forget about any repairs over the weekend.

As it happened, Saturday was the day of the memorial service for my very good friend who died last month (see “Thanatopsis”, August 6). The future Baron came down for the weekend so that he could attend it. Before he left yesterday, I had him come with me while I drove us to where there was a cell phone signal, about eight miles from here, and used his phone to call tech support in Bangladesh. After going through interminable touch-tone menus, and listening to horrible music while on hold, I finally got to talk to a personable young lady with a thick Bengali accent. She apologized profusely for the difficulties I was having, then made me listen to the horrible music for a while longer while she looked into the situation. When she returned, she told me that there was an outage in my area, and there was no estimated time for the repairs to be completed.

I knew ahead of time that she would say that, because that’s the way it always goes. But it’s important to go through the forms, just for propriety’s sake, and set up a trouble ticket.

I also knew that the phone would come back on today, because it always happens that way. The technician comes to work on Monday morning and looks at his trouble tickets while he drinks a cup of coffee. Then he gets in his panel truck and comes out here to Eerie Hollow to reconnect the string to the tin can.

It had been more than a month since the previous outage, which was a pretty long run. Let’s see how long it takes before the next one.

Generally speaking, if you see me disappear for a weekend without any advance warning, you can assume there’s been an outage like this one.

What About Viktor Orbán?

Long-time readers will remember our Hungarian correspondent CrossWare, who has translated large numbers of Hungarian-language videos and articles, including many speeches by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Long-time readers will also remember the dismay experienced by many people — including our Hungarian correspondents — when Mr. Orbán jumped aboard the COVID bandwagon, and then pushed vax mandates on Hungarian citizens.

The following reassessment of Viktor Orbán was written by CrossWare and published earlier today at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

What about Viktor Orbán?

Thoughts by CrossWare

First of all, what is the connection between the Prime Minister of Hungary and myself?

We were both born and raised in the very same country town, both went to high school there (different ones) and Orbán is one year older than me. But we both grew up in the last period of socialism, so we are both a product of the same era. He went to law school after high school; I went for a BA in Engineering. So even though we ended up in very different places, our beginnings were pretty close to each other.

When socialism ended in 1989, I did not really care much about politics. However I followed his media presence, because he came from the same town as me. Fidesz was an insignificant liberal party at the time, with exactly the same type of message as all the other liberal parties in the world. That was the time when Gorge Soros (a.k.a. Schwartz) “helped” all these liberal parties against the dying socialist/communist powers. In 1998 the Fidesz party won the election (that was the year when I left Hungary and emigrated to Canada) and after just a single term, they were defeated by the communists and their latest liberal party partner the SZDSZ (Federation of Free Democrats). The voting process was suspiciously similar to the later 2020 USA election; the voting papers were destroyed before recount could be requested (against the rules), and Hungary faced eight years of the same type of system that the USA now lives under with Joe Biden.

Viktor Orbán and Fidesz regained power in 2010, and now he is the Prime Minister of Hungary for the fourth time with a two-thirds super-majority. (There are no term limits in Hungary.)

I started focusing on politics again and OV’s role in it when the great migration started in 2015 and he had such a remarkable staunch view on it. That is when I started to translate videos of his speeches for both Gates of Vienna and VladTepesBlog. In 2017, I had to move back to Hungary to help my aging parents and my sister, who suffered some losses and chronic diseases in her life.

That was the point when I started to face reality, which was not always in sync with what Orbán spoke about in his speeches.

In his early years, Viktor Orbán was confronted by a journalist about some difference between what he said and what he did, his answer was eye-opening (at least for me):

“Never listen to what I am saying, only what I am doing” — Viktor Orbán

Well, herein lies the problem…

Living in Hungary opened up for me various sources of information, which contradicted the rosy picture suggested by Orbán’s speeches. Also, I watch all politicians with suspicion, looking for alternate motives for their behaviour. (This could be my personal issue with this “profession”.)

Let’s review all the issues based on some groupings of mine:

His personality, leadership:

I think Viktor Orbán is a highly intelligent, talented politician. Without his knowledge and diligence, Fidesz as a party could have never become so organized and ready to lead. He has a typical type A personality, which makes him a strong, charismatic leader. But it comes with all the negative side of such personality: controlling, aggressive and looking at team members as potential risk to his own power. Orbán successfully eliminated most of the potential talent for leadership in his environment, which means that when he is no longer able to lead Fidesz, the party will face a crisis finding a similar talent to continue to lead.

Economy:

In 2010 the new Orbán government announced a new “movement”, which they called the NER (National Cooperation System). The idea behind it was to strengthen Hungarian-owned companies in all sectors of the economy and with that decrease our dependence on foreign companies, which many times followed their owners’ economic and political agendas. The point was to try to recreate layers of Hungarian owners, rich people who can support national causes. This societal layer was completely eliminated in the communist era. This idea worked completely in theory, but only partially in practice. As with any successful political movement, the hyenas showed up and slowly they built into the system. I have heard multiple rumours about occasions when a successful small business owner receives a visit from a representative from a large NER company, who has “excellent political connections” and makes an offer to buy the business. This is the type of offer which nobody can refuse, because the next day the tax office people arrive, and because of the overcomplicated tax system (which Fidesz, after twelve years of rule, could not fix or never wanted to fix), everyone may be found guilty of breaking some of the rules. So, mafia behaviour is rampantly present in the system, and it does not seem like there is any political will to fix the issues.

Weather Goes Boom!

Update: The storm seems to have passed through. It was loud, but not all that violent. There was no hail, at least not here at Schloss Bodissey.

Central Virginia is currently under a severe thunderstorm warning, and I can already hear the thunder and see the lightning. The storm is rapidly approaching, and we may be in for hail and high winds.

If Gates of Vienna stops being updated after this post, you’ll know why.

Wheels on Fire

I’m going to enjoy this fine late-summer weather while it lasts. I’m off to visit family, and will be gone overnight. I plan to dine alfresco this evening and listen to some live music.

There will be no news feed this evening, but I plan to be back early enough to post one tomorrow night.

Keep on rollin’!

The Greening of the Planet

Back in 2010, during a trip to the Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy — i.e. the Washington D.C. metropolitan area — I paid a visit to my old neighborhood in the town of Takoma Park, Maryland (not to be confused with an adjacent neighborhood of the same name just across the District line). I could remember the street grid well enough, and made my way to the apartment building I had lived in some thirty-five years previously, just to see what the place looked like. The area was recognizable enough — it was totally Hispanic by then, but it had been moving in that direction even when I lived there. Salvadoran restaurants. Mexican grocery stores. Cuban barber shops, where “razor cut” might have more than one meaning.

So the neighborhood was familiar, except for the growth of trees. What was it with the foliage hanging over every street, and dense greenery blocking the view around every corner? It’s not like it had been a newly-developed area when I lived there — it was an old established suburb by then, with forty- and fifty-year-old buildings and trees that had long since reached their maturity. So what was it with all that mass of greenery? It made navigation more confusing than it should have been.

It got me to thinking about the possibility that increased CO2 in the atmosphere had stimulated all that luxuriant new growth in the trees and shrubs of Takoma Park. The possibility made me look at the landscape in a different way in other places, including the remote countryside here in the boondocks of the Central Virginia Piedmont. Yes, it did seem like all the hedgerows and second-growth areas were choked with densely-packed shrubs and small trees. When I cast my mind back to the way things had looked in the same places thirty or forty years before, it seemed that the landscape back in those days had been more spare, more austere. The view was more wide open then driving along the back roads. But that was a very subjective observation, and could have been ascribed to the power of suggestion.

Or maybe not. Just a few years after my return to the barrios of Takoma Park, NASA published a report about the increase in green biomass across the globe between 1982 and 2015. Posted in 2016, it was entitled “CO2 is making Earth greener — for now”. The weaselly qualification “for now” had to be included to make sure the piece adhered to the Climate Crisis narrative. Sure, it’s nice that the Earth is experiencing more plant growth — but don’t get used to it! It won’t last, and before too long we will all fry, or drown, or freeze, or whatever the latest fashionable apocalyptic scenario is.

According to this report, my subjective impressions about the flora of the East Coast were based on very real changes:

A quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25.

An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries led the effort, which involved using satellite data from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer instruments to help determine the leaf area index, or amount of leaf cover, over the planet’s vegetated regions. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States.

Green leaves use energy from sunlight through photosynthesis to chemically combine carbon dioxide drawn in from the air with water and nutrients tapped from the ground to produce sugars, which are the main source of food, fiber and fuel for life on Earth. Studies have shown that increased concentrations of carbon dioxide increase photosynthesis, spurring plant growth.

While rising carbon dioxide concentrations in the air can be beneficial for plants, it is also the chief culprit of climate change. The gas, which traps heat in Earth’s atmosphere, has been increasing since the industrial age due to the burning of oil, gas, coal and wood for energy and is continuing to reach concentrations not seen in at least 500,000 years. The impacts of climate change include global warming, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and sea ice as well as more severe weather events.

How Bad Was Your Batch?

Bug or feature?

That’s the crucial question about the enormous variability in the makeup of various batches of the experimental mRNA treatment intended to mitigate the effects of infection with the Wuhan Coronavirus

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from AUF1. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Chemically surprisingly different “vaccine” batches from BioNTech

A Leipzig professor of analytical chemistry recently found that even the outward appearance of the alleged Corona vaccine from the Mainz-based company BioNTech is surprisingly different from different production dates. More detailed analyses by the expert revealed astonishing things.

The company BioNTech of the married couple Özlem Türeci and Ugur Sahin [Jihadists?] has existed since 2008, but had not brought a product onto the market until the Corona pandemic. When the Mainz-based company from the Goldgrube [street name and seat of the company] launched large quantities of the allegedly technically advanced RNA “vaccine” BNT162b2 onto the market worldwide for billions of people at high speed from the end of 2020 after an amazingly short test phase, experts were amazed at how this might work without quality problems.

Danish study shows extreme differences in effectiveness

And indeed — as Daniel Matissek earlier reported here at AUF1 — a current Danish study shows significant differences in the side effects of the “vaccine” from different production times. These production batches or “lots” must be numbered and clearly documented so that inspectors can determine who made what mistake when and if problems arise.

The Danish researchers found that some batches caused a particularly large number of reports of suspected vaccine damage, others significantly less. Was it sloppy — or was the recipe different at different times? Also striking: Denmark received a certain batch particularly frequently — was one or the other lot delivered with priority after expectations of profit?

Even officially: Chemical composition different

The Leipzig chemistry professor Jörg Matysik and his colleague, the expert in organic chemistry Prof. Gerald Dyker from Bochum, researched with other scientists about the production circumstances of the BioNTech miracle drug. Grotesque: Officially, the recipe for producing the “vaccine” is not clear. The fat globules (nanoparticles) that smuggle the RNA into the patient’s cells can be amazingly different in size. The pH value, which indicates how acidic a solution is, may also vary by a full unit — only a tenth of a unit is usual! The substance ALC-0315, from which the nanoparticles are partly made, may also be contained in different proportions. In addition: The safety data sheet of ALC-0315 states that the substance is carcinogenic and irritating to the skin. After Matysik’s request, the information was described as incorrect and deleted.

Dyker and Matysik asked the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) in Berlin, which is responsible for approvals in Germany, why the tolerances for the BioNTech “vaccine” were so high — no answer.

A Chinese Bioweapons Lab in Reedley, California?

Garry Bredefeld is a member of the city council in Fresno, California. The following video shows a press conference called by Mr. Bredefeld earlier this month, following revelations about the discovery of an illegal Chinese bioweapons lab that seems to have been conducting experiments with the COVID-19 virus using genetically modified mice.

The lab was discovered back in March, but its existence was not publicly revealed until late last month. In his remarks Mr. Bredefeld decries the failure of Fresno County officials to inform the public about the potential dangers posed by the lab. The political situation is further complicated by the fact that the lab was in Reedley, in Fresno County, but Mr. Bredefeld represents the city of Fresno. He is currently running for a seat on the Board of Supervisors of Fresno County.

Whoops! Never Mind.

The European Union, through its disease control agency, has locked the barn door after the horse has been stolen. In fact, not only has the horse been stolen, it has been sent to the knackers’ and rendered down into stew meat and gelatin.

It seems that the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has determined that all the COVID-19 measures it enforced against the population were stupid and counter-productive. We “Corona-deniers” were saying exactly the same thing more than three years ago, and for our efforts we were vilified, stigmatized, cancelled, censored, and occasionally prosecuted.

It’s cold comfort to say “I told you so”, especially now that almost everyone has been jabbed with the Myocarditis Turbo-Cancer Special.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Uncut News. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

The conclusion of the European authorities: Pandemic restrictions should not have been imposed by law

According to a study by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), measures such as house arrest and contact bans should not have been imposed during the pandemic, but only issued as a recommendation. The European authority reveals that the 2020-2022 restrictions had a catastrophic impact on all EU citizens.

ECDC research into the impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions on the lives of adults in the EU during the Covid-19 pandemic (2020-2022) seems preposterous without knowing how disastrous the impact of the restrictions and bans have been. However, the action taken by the European authorities is not accidental, but is preparing a different approach to a future pandemic, which is being talked about more and more on all channels. In summary, the investigation concluded that the measures, which severely restricted and impaired citizens’ freedoms, should not have been enforced by force. The most correct approach would have been to leave these measures at a recommendation level, most likely referring to the case of Sweden.

Likewise, the ECDC concludes that while it would be better not to introduce such restrictions, when they are imposed they should not be generalized, and the impact they would have on both the different social categories and the economic sector should be analyzed carefully. Although it is not said directly, the ECDC acknowledges that the measures taken to combat the pandemic have been inadequate in every respect and have had dramatic consequences at all levels.

“When planning the implementation of NPIs (non-pharmaceutical measures) at the population level, the scientific community and policymakers should consider not only their effectiveness in controlling disease and improving population compliance with NPIs, but also other aspects in the context of their impact on the community in general and on groups that have been shown to be more vulnerable to adverse impacts. An example could be public health, including health indicators not directly related to infectious diseases,” the ECDC document said.

Pathological Recriminations

I’m not familiar with the context surrounding this controversy over pathologists researching patients who received the experimental mRNA treatment intended to mitigate the effects of infection with the Wuhan Coronavirus. I’m hoping that German readers who know more will weigh in on the issue in the comments.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from the German-language service of the Epoch Times:

Reutlinger Pathology stops research on COVID-vaccinated people

After it was recently announced that the pathological examinations of COVID-vaccinated people will continue even after the death of Prof. Arne Burkhardt in Reutlingen, there is now an abrupt reversal. Late in the evening of August 14th, The Epoch Times received the sudden and unexpected news: “Pathology in Reutlingen is closed with immediate effect.”

Prof. Walter Lang, who had agreed to take over the medical direction of the research, is no longer available for the project.

The reason given was “legal pressure to fight through the dismissals of employees before the labor court” by the Association of Doctors and Scientists for Health, Freedom and Democracy (MWGFD). The association had supported the pathological examinations with donations.

MWGFD threatens to sue

In addition, the MWGFD, on whose board of directors is the well-known microbiologist Prof. Sucharit Bhakdi, had threatened Prof. Lang with a lawsuit through a lawyer. As can be seen from the legal letter available to the Epoch Times, it was about the surrender of the laboratory equipment. These were given to Prof. Burkhardt by the MWGFD for research purposes.

The lawyer for MWGFD asserted the ownership rights of his clients “after the business basis had ceased to exist” as a result of Burkhardt’s death. The value of the medical-technical laboratory equipment is estimated at €132,220.90. Alternatively, Prof. Lang was offered the purchase of the equipment.

According to insider circles, this was the last straw that finally broke the camel’s back after months of quarrels with the MWGFD.

In a press release on August 9, the MWGFD announced that a new site for pathology examinations would be built. This was justified by the fact that the premises of the Reutlingen laboratory were part of the estate of the late Prof. Burkhardt.

The society has found an institute that will act as an intermediary to the existing pathological institutions and will have modern telepathology at its disposal so that the work can continue according to the methods used by Prof. Burkhardt.

Afterword from the translator:

I wonder from which direction the pressure came that made Dr. Lang fold? A rogue who thinks that evil is afoot…
