As you can see, this petroleum sucking, environmental-poison baby-seal-killer has some hitchhikers aboard. What he (and I) can’t figure out is how those seals got on the platform. The Lurker says it’s ten feet from the water to where those tired seals are lying, soaking up some rays. So how did they get there?

Republican Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison has conceded the Texas gubernatorial primary to incumbent governor Rick Perry, avoiding the need for a run-off. Gov. Perry will face former Houston mayor Bill White in the general election next fall.

Geert Wilders is fighting a heroic rearguard action against the Islamization of the Netherlands, and one of his tactics is to propose a ban on the hijab in public buildings. At the same time, the forces of political correctness among the Dutch avant garde have taken to wearing headscarves in solidarity with Muslims. And we’re not just talking about the women — the men are doing it, too.

The Dutch high school teacher Jos Baijens — a grown man, 43 years old — has worn a headscarf since Monday, March 1.

By doing so he protests against Geert Wilders’ proposal to ban headscarves in all municipal bodies, public buildings, and government-funded organizations and associations.

Mr. Baijens (43), father of three, says he will continue his protest by wearing the headscarf, a symbol of political Islam and the suppression of woman in private. The headscarf was a gift of a Somali woman, he said.

On Wednesday, during the municipal elections, a group of teachers and students in the Hague will organize a “playful action”, also by wearing headscarves when they go to vote. With this action they want to take position against the proposal of the PVV to prohibit headscarves in all municipal bodies and subsidized organizations and associations.

The students and teachers, associated with various educational institutes in Hague, are calling on voters also to wear a headscarf when they visit the polling station on Wednesday. […] They want to make it clear that a headscarf is not something exclusive to Muslims: “Brigitte Bardot in the sixties also often wore headscarves.”

I wonder if all the Muslim guys think Mr. Baijens looks really cute in that outfit…

It is now widely known that the during the paste decade the British Labour Party deliberately imported millions of new immigrants in order to change the social situation in the country and extend its hold on power. A Norwegian reader named Ola Olsen read the recent revelations and was prompted to send us the following essay:

Levels of treason

After reading the Telegraph article about the deliberate plan to import millions of immigrants into Britain for political reasons, I realized that the expression “treason to your country” is too broad to cover all the different cases. After some thinking about it, I came up with a way to classify traitors against his/her country into three different levels:

Level 1:		A person who is actively preventing others from saving their country. A typical example in this regard is a newspaper editor who will not print articles written by those trying to alert the people to what is going on.
Level 2:		A person who is actively helping the enemy in damaging his/her country. This is the classical traitor who is a spy for the enemy.
Level 3:		A person who is actively trying to destroy his/her country’s culture and identity by replacing the original people with another. This would typically be through uncontrolled mass immigration to the extent that the original population becomes a minority, or by the more direct approach of genocide.

Labour politicians responsible for the mass immigration into the UK are Level 3 traitors. It is true that they have not initiated genocide, but the long-term effect of uncontrolled mass immigration from a hostile culture will be the same.

These politicians have put their own people in a terrible situation which may only be “solved” by extreme upheavals and civil war over many years. Their actions would have been less severe had they decided to bring in people from a compatible culture. Instead they elected to import from the most hostile and dangerous culture on the planet: Islam.

The politically correct thought (and still think) that Muslims will “integrate” into Western societies. Sorry, it’s not going to happen, at least not the way we want. We’ve had Muslims in Western countries for more than three generations now, and it is to be expected that they should have been “integrated” into our culture by now, right? Instead we are observing the opposite: Muslims are becoming less “integrated” with their host countries each year.

Why? Is it us? What is the cause?

The cause, of course, is Islam itself. Fjordman is correct when he says that it cannot be modified successfully into something less lethal. The UK (and other countries) cannot sit around waiting for “moderate Islam” to emerge. By the time that happens, the UK (and everything else) will be gone. Instead we will see one Western country after another with high levels of Muslims become progressively more unstable and dangerous. No one knows what will happen in detail. But we know it’s not going to be nice.

At some point in the future, there will be a need for another Nuremberg trial, where the traitors of all levels will be brought to justice. Until then, if it happens that our culture survives, it is important that we collect evidence against them so their terrible crimes will not be forgotten.

The days of peace and safety are about to end for Western countries. We are moving quickly into darker days, thanks to our political traitor class. Therefore it is important for us to remember the 11th Commandment: “Thou shalt not get away with it!”

As reported here a few days ago, Geert Wilders’ party is well on the way to victory in the city of Almere in the upcoming municipal election.

Now it seems that a classic disinformation operation has been mounted in Almere in an attempt to discredit the PVV and interrupt its momentum at the polls. The Dutch blog Contradicere smelled a rat, and exposed the funny business in a pair of articles that have been translated by our Flemish correspondent VH.

A translation of the first post:

Did PVVers threaten retailers in Almere?

Alleged PVV supporters threatened two shopkeepers in Almere who had a campaign poster for the local party NDP (National Democratic Party) in the shop window.

Cor Valies reported that a “fellow shopkeeper” in Almere-Buiten had four “white boys” visit him who demanded under threat that he take down the poster for the NDP or else the store would be demolished.

The young men who threatened him in his shop in Almere-Buiten, as well on the telephone to the shop in Almere-Stad, presented themselves as “the urban commandos of Wilders’.

For some reason Cor Valies does not mention in all this that the store in Almere-Buiten is also his property. It is not a “fellow shopkeeper” but Cor Valies himself! He also owns the shop in Almere-Stad that received telephone threats.

It seems just too coincidental that Cor Valies in both his shop in Almere-Buiten and in Almere-Stad has been threatened by “urban commandos of the PVV”. If you know the situation a bit, you know that there is quite some distance between Almere-Stad [City] and Almere-Buiten.

Although the mainstream press and media swallow the story whole, there are several possibilities. And they are much more likely.

Thus Cor Valies may regard this as a “nice” campaign stunt for both his party and his retail business. It would then be about an invented story. It may also be an action by the extreme leftist so-called “opponents of fascism” like the AFA and/or Indymedia types. It is possible that Cor Valies cooperated.

Because it is not entirely accidental that Indymedia/AFA organized a protest march [flower-march] today against the PVV’s proposed “urban commandos”. For the occasion the AFA extremists turned themselves into the AAA (Almere Autonomous Action).

We therefore suspect that the one incident is not independent of the other. For what is the case… The “uniforms” by fashion designer and leftist activist Guda Koster the AFA men and women wore also do very well in quite a few fashion stores.

We currently can not prove it here yet, but it would not be a surprise if there are “professional” and perhaps also ideological ties found between fashion designer Guda Koster and Mr. Cor Valies.

Police put statement by Cor Valies in doubt

The police have made a call to keep the peace. In that way they anticipate the ghost stories that would make the rounds about “the shopkeepers who were threatened by precursors of PVV city commandos “.

“Nobody has yet shown that this has in fact been done by PVVers. Complaints must first be filed with the police by the ‘threatened’ retailers. For the present there is only the one report in the media by only one shopkeeper,” police spokesman Leo Dortland said.

Dortland also announced that he does not as yet take the stories of Cor Valies to be serious. “Once the complaint is made, we will take the matter seriously. For threatening is in fact a serious crime,” according to Dortland.

Dortland’s words show that as of today (Tuesday, March 2, 2010) Cor Valies had still not reported any threat. This, while the threats were made last Friday, according to Cor Valies.

Cor Valies stated in the media on Monday that he would do that [file a complaint]. Apparently the police also believe that the lack of filing is suspicious. For the police do not just issue such a statement for nothing.

The retailer and municipal representative candidate Cor Valies claims to have been threatened by telephone on Friday. According to Cor Valies a fellow retailer in Almere-Stad has also been faced with threats [and that shop is coincidentally also owned by Cor Valies]. The boys supposedly identified themselves as “the forerunners of the urban commandos from Wilders”.

Cor Valies, and according to him a shopkeeper colleague, had to remove election posters for his party, the National Democratic Party, from the shop window, otherwise the windows would be smashed, Cor Valies asserts.

The matter smells funny. A few things that happened concerning the case appear suspicious, and the whole thing is held together by coincidences. You can read more about it in the article: “Did PVVers threaten retailers in Almere?”

We continue on the issue in the opinion article: “PVV is, and Islam is not a danger?” In the article we denounce the hypocrisy of many opponents of Wilders, the politics and politicians. They blow things out of proportion to the point where they permanently apologize for the shadow sides of Islam.

Furthermore, the National Democratic Party, which would look to maybe one, but at the most two seats in the municipal assembly, is in no way a threat to the PVV, which at the polls might receive around 30% of the votes in Almere.

There is absolutely no need for PVV supporters to “discourage” Cor Valies, his virtually nonexistent supporters, or his party, which represents no controversial views whatsoever.

Earl Cromer sends the following news story (not absolutely current) about the actions of violent “youths” in Bury. He includes this note:

It’s a very strange article, because it reads all wrong — first off you get the impression the “Asian” gang stormed into the chapel to rob it, but all they did was beat and humiliate the 80-year-old warden, who was setting up for the service, and then steal his car keys.

He only drives a Ford Focus, so could it really have been all about the car? At least three men and a hammer? Why risk serious time when you could grab such a car off any residential street with no fuss?

I’d be interested in your thoughts, as I think you’ve posted before on churches, Christians and vicars being targeted in the north of England. Needless to say no mention of this in the nationals (it’s a month old) or any hint at another motive.

Unfortunately, I don’t have much to say about all this. The news from England lately has been so insane that it’s hard to form an opinion. The new owners of the island of Britain are simply claiming their territory, plus the tribute they consider to be rightfully theirs.

To paraphrase Humpty Dumpty: “The question is who is to be master — that’s all.”

Hammer Thugs Attack Pensioner Inside Chapel

A CHURCHWARDEN tried to tackle a gang of masked robbers when they attacked him with a hammer as he prepared for a chapel service.

The 80-year-old victim recalled the sickening moment the thugs hit him with the weapon and said: “next time it will be your head”.

Speaking anonymously, the man said he feared for his life when the robbers struck at Gospel Chapel in Benson Street, Bury.

“At first in seemed so unreal, like a prank,” he said. “But it was very real. They could have killed me.”

The victim, from Whitefield, was setting up the chapel hall for a service last Wednesday when he heard a knock at the side door about 7.25pm.

When he went out to see if anyone was there four men jumped on him, brandishing a claw hammer.

“They bundled me back up the steps and into the chapel shouting for my car keys,” he said.

“I resisted and managed to pick up a chair to defend myself, but one grabbed the end of the chair and the others grabbed my arms.”

The robbers hit the pensioner on the knee with the hammer and pinned him down while they rummaged through his pockets.

“He said if I didn’t give him the keys, next time he would hit me over the head with the hammer.

“So I thought, if I carried on resisting I would get damaged and they would still take the keys. They ripped my trousers, grabbed the keys and ran out.”

The thugs locked the victim in before driving off in his car, which was parked outside.

The grey Ford Focus, registration number NL07 XXY, has still not been found.

The robbers are described as Asian men, aged between 20 and 30, and wearing dark clothing and balaclavas. One is described as six feet tall and the others are of average height.

The victim said: “This was a sickening crime of breaking into the house of God, fighting and robbing. Have they no shame?

“I have been a warden here for the last 50 years and have never seen trouble like this. They are scum, the lowest of the low.”

DI John Mazzolai said: “Amazingly the victim was not hurt though he was pushed around violently. Needless to say though he is left terribly shaken up by this. Attacks like this on vulnerable, decent members of the community will not be tolerated and we are working very hard today to trace those responsible.”

The Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic goes on trial today in the Hague for alleged war crimes committed during the civil war in Bosnia in the early 1990s. Here’s the latest from ANSAmed:

ICTY: Karadzic Claims Cause ‘Just and Holy’

THE HAGUE, MARCH 1 – On his arrival this morning in the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) – where the trial has resumed in which he is accused of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity – former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic claimed he had acted as defender of the Serbian population in Bosnia, fighting for a “just and holy” cause, and that he had been the defender of “the greatness of a small nation in Bosnia-Herzegovina that had suffered for 500 years”. For the first time before ICTY judges, today Karadzic, 64, will be presenting the outlines of the line of defense he will be taking against charges of “ethnic cleansing” during the war in Bosnia. Mr. Karadzic was the first president of the Republika Srpska (Serb Republic) in Bosnia, which was formed in 1992 when Yugoslavia broke up. After war crimes charges were filed against him by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in 1996, Mr. Karadzic went underground and was a fugitive for twelve years.

Karadzic Trial: An Introductory Guide

A very important event is starting tomorrow, an event that the vast majority of Americans probably do not know about. It is the trial of Dr. Radovan Karadzic, the former Bosnian Serb president. Dr. Karadzic’s trial is extremely important. He is a former world leader being tried for crimes that he is not guilty of.

I have prepared this introductory guide to Dr. Karadzic’s trial so that readers can learn more about this grave miscarriage of justice.

Watching the trial

Anyone can watch the trial. It is broadcast from the ICTY website (with a thirty-minute delay, if I remember correctly) in an effort to make the tribunal seem more open and legitimate (do not be fooled; it is neither legitimate nor open). The schedule of courtroom appearances is here. If you intend to watch something, be sure to check the schedule—I have seen trial times shifted around even at the last minute. To watch the streaming video or hear the audio, go to the homepage and click on the video or audio links in the left sidebar. Note that there are three courtrooms, which often have cases going on simultaneously. Finally, do not forget about the time difference. The times listed on the schedule are Netherlands time, which is six hours ahead of Eastern Time in the United States.

Why was the trial delayed?

Regular readers will recall that the trial was supposed to start in fall of 2009. It did not because Dr. Karadzic said that he did not have enough time to properly prepare his defense. He even boycotted his court appearances. The tribunal eventually moved the start date later to the beginning of March, but forced court-appointed counsel on him. And, in typical poor taste, the tribunal withheld payment from Dr. Karadzic’s legal team (I confirmed this story with a member of the team). As far as I can tell, Dr. Karadzic does intend to make his opening statement in court on March 1 and March 2, though he wanted the trial postponed to June.

What charges does Dr. Karadzic face?

He faces 11 charges of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Counts 1 and 2 concern genocide against Bosnian Muslims and Bosnian Croats. Count 3 concerns persecutions against Bosnian Croats and Bosnian Muslims on political and/or religious grounds. Counts 4, 5, and 6 concern extermination and murder, especially the killing of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica and killing of civilians in Sarajevo. Counts 7 and 8 concern deportation and inhuman acts. Counts 9 and 10 concern terror and unlawful acts against civilians. Count 11 concerns the taking of UN military observers as hostages. (Thanks to the BBC for a summary of the charges.)

ZALTBOMMEL, 27/02/10 — Mayors are not expected to make spice political statements, but Albert van den Bosch broke with this doctrine Friday. The conservative (VVD) mayor characterised Moroccan criminals as the “internal enemy”.

The VVD mayor urged special legislation to put a stop to intimidation by Moroccan youths. “The people are fed up. Do something about it as government!” he said in the civil servants’ journal Binnenlands Bestuur.

“I am fed up with how Iraq and Afghanistan have been discussed for months, while nothing is done about a much bigger problem. Van den Bosch is mayor of Zaltbommel. Some 1,000 Moroccans live in this municipality, of which 50 are regular offenders. “Twenty form the hard core and there are 30 copying them. There are no problems with the other thousand Moroccans.”

Both The Telegraph and The Daily Mail are reporting on the infiltration of the Labour Party by islamicist extremists — i.e., those who want Britain under Sharia rule, and the sooner the better.

The group running things is under the aegis of The Islamic Forum of Europe (IFE). Is IFE part of the Muslim Brotherhood, so active in this country? It’s hard to say without a score card, but it would appear that the British infiltrators answer to Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan. The Muslim Brotherhood — which has infiltrated the American government and much of Europe — is a Sunni creation, descended straight from the founders in Egypt, and supported by Saudi Arabia. Although Pakistan is also Sunni, the Muslim Brotherhood is more active in the Arab world, with Tablighi Jamaat being an equivalent force in South Asia.

Of course both groups are dependent on the establishment of mosques as places from which to stage their planning, recruitment, and dispersal of the troops. In a related article, The Telegraph says:

For most of the 15,000 ordinary Muslims who pray there each week, it is simply a place of worship. For many, it provides valuable social facilities, and creche and outreach services.

But for a small number, the mosque is the headquarters of a secretive, fundamentalist political network. The Islamic Forum of Europe is dedicated, in its own words, to changing the “very infrastructure of society, its institutions, its culture, its political order and its creed … from ignorance to Islam”.

The mosque and IFE are inextricably intertwined. Dr Mohammed Abdul Bari, the chairman of the mosque, and its vice-chairman are former IFE presidents.

The director and imam of the mosque are trustees of the group. Of 22 IFE trustees in recent years, only five have not also been trustees or officeholders of the religious centre.

The mosque calls the IFE a “social welfare organisation” and the IFE presents itself as committed to “community cohesion” and “tolerance”.

But the undercover reporters discovered that it was also a sophisticated political group with a structured rank system and hardline goals.

Prospective recruits must attend training. One undercover reporter was told that she would have to take an exam and swear an oath of allegiance and ordered to keep her membership of the IFE a secret.

The reading list for the recruits’ training course consists of the key works of the revolutionary political creed known as Islamism, which advocates the overthrow of secular democratic government and its replacement by Islamic government.

The key text, Let Us Be Muslims, by Syed Mawdudi, a high priest of Islamism, instructs recruits: “The sacred duty of Muslims … wherever you are, in whichever country you live, you must strive to change the wrong basis of government, and seize all powers to rule and make laws from those who do not fear God.”

Recruits are drawn from prospective volunteers, weeded out, trained, and then sent into political parties to slowly take charge.

Meanwhile, moderate Muslims were to be ostracized for flirting with the West and the media to convince them that we are ‘good peaceful Muslims’”…

…they were examples of “deviation” who would go to hell. Another IFE document said: “IFE’s primary work is in Europe because it is this continent, despite all the furore about its achievements, which has a moral and spiritual vacuum.” [my emphasis – D]

Sad but true. The alcoholism rate, the social havoc caused by the massive immigration on top of whole classes of native Brits who neither work nor toil nor spin yet who are supported in their lethargy, has created a cesspit of no-go zones and public apathy as police and government nannies increasingly invade and degrade British life. In such circumstances, it isn’t difficult for groups like the IFE to make inroads.

The Telegraph interviewed the MP who outed the IFE’s activities:

Jim Fitzpatrick, the Environment Minister, said the IFE had become, in effect, a secret party within Labour and other political parties.

“They are acting almost as an entryist organisation, placing people within the political parties, recruiting members to those political parties, trying to get individuals selected and elected so they can exercise political influence and power, whether it’s at local government level or national level,” he said.

“They are completely at odds with Labour’s programme, with our support for secularism.”

Congratulations to this minister, Mr. Fitzpatrick, for bringing the infiltration to light. One wonders what price he will pay for shining a light on the truth. It is beyond the ability of any American politician to point out the infiltration here of the Muslim Brotherhood, though that may change with the election of Allen West to Congress at the end of this year.

However, in the UK is Islam the only group at odds with Labour’s programme of secularism? If so, that may be part of the problem for Britain, and for all of Europe. Pat Condell’s clever diatribes aside, if there is no higher ideal, no vision larger than the individual or his political allegiance, than Islam may well prevail in all those places where Christianity has receded in the face of secularism. With secularism, there is no “there” there, only the empty pleasure of the moment. Families fail to form, or they form briefly and end in divorce. The priesthood of the Famous and the fecklessness of political class has hollowed out a once-great country. In this respect, the militant secularists who preceded these Islamists simply softened up the country for a tyrannical take-over by zealots.

Religious faith is simply not done much by those who see themselves as part of the ruling class in Britain (Tony Blair being an exception). Faith is considered the refuge of the less-than-bright, or those who can’t abide the idea of mortality. But unless spiritual transcendence can be replaced with something equally compelling — and Islam is indeed compelling to certain groups of youngsters — the IFE may succeed in their efforts to bring Britain to her knees.

The hardest part to accept is that the immigration “programme” which has resulted in this mess was a conscious scheme. It hardly bears thinking about.
