The grim news today from South Yorkshire about the latest “grooming and pimping” case ignored by the police prompted this response from Paul Weston.

South Yorkshire Police and Rotherham Council Are Complicit in Child-Rape

The Times has a three page spread today (Sep 24, 2012) about the thousands of predominately Pakistani Muslim gang rapes of white English girls in the Rotherham area.

To say it is shocking is an understatement. The “Rotherham Safeguarding Children Board” appears to have known about this monstrosity since 1996 but in the interests of “Community Cohesion” set out to wilfully cover up the details. In one report they stated:

Such crimes had cultural characteristics… there are sensitivities of ethnicity with potential to endanger the harmony of community-relations. Great care will be taken in drafting this report to ensure that its findings embrace Rotherham’s qualities of diversity. It is imperative that suggestions of a wider cultural phenomenon are avoided.

This racial cover-up means that thousands of children were raped and abused directly because of the actions of the Rotherham Safeguarding Children Board. In 2000-2001 the Muslim gang-rape of children was so bad it forced a Rotherham headmaster to write to his pupils’ parents, warning them of the situation. It would appear that no action was taken.

The British police seem to have lost all sense of morality, not to mention their duty of upholding the law. The Times has some horrifying examples of what surely amounts to criminal inaction in their multicultural response to adult Muslim men gang-raping under-age and vulnerable white girls:

Police went to a house outside which a father was demanding the release of his daughter, who was inside with a group of British Pakistani adults. Officers found the girl, 14, who had been drugged, under a bed. The father and his daughter were arrested for racial harassment and assault respectively. Police left, leaving three men at the house with two more girls.

Two terrified girls who were dragged into a car and driven to Bristol to be used for sex as part of a drugs deal phoned support workers to seek help… officers rescued them and returned them to Sheffield… South Yorkshire Police did not question them about the incident.

In two cases, police officers responded to missing persons reports but left the young women with the suspected abuser, concluding she was safe. When the parents attempted to intervene they were threatened with arrest and charged with breach of the peace.

A girl’s mother copied the names, addresses and text messages of 177 Asian men, including a police officer, from her daughter’s mobile phone after the 13-year-old went missing for five days. Police said that using the information would infringe on the girl’s and the men’s human rights.

In 2002, the confidential report of a Home-Office funded research project considered a series of Rotherham case studies. It criticised police for in all cases treating young victims as deviant and promiscuous while the men they were found with were never questioned or investigated.

Denis MacShane, MP for Rotherham, said he was appalled that in several meetings with senior South Yorkshire police officers to discuss internal trafficking ‘no one has ever revealed or even hinted at the important allegations made by The Times’…

Throughout this period, Rotherham council has failed to accept the role of ethnicity and culture in such group offending. Earlier this year, this newspaper revealed how the town’s safeguarding children board censored a report into the murder of a 17-year-old girl to conceal the ethnicity of the British Pakistani men suspected of using her for sex from the age of 11.

What the hell is going on in Britain?

I’ve got into trouble for saying this before, but I really don’t blame the Muslims for this, they are simply following the example of their “perfect man” Mohammed who raped, pillaged and murdered in the name of the religion of peace. This is something they are encouraged to do today, in Britain, under the guise of state-promoted multiculturalism which elevates the savage and barbaric “religion” of Islam to a higher level than our own culture.

No, the people I really blame here are the Multicultural, PC, cowardly and shameful British Police and the Rotherham Safeguarding Children Board. The entire board should be prosecuted for aiding and abetting the rape and murder of English children, as should each and every police officer involved in this decade-long cover-up.

I simply cannot believe that multicultural Britain has sunk to such a level. I know it is true, I know it is really happening, but a part of me cannot comprehend the sheer evil involved in all this — from the Muslim rapists through to the British police and the Council officials, right up to the British government itself, which is headed by a Prime Minister who supports the UAF, and by definition therefore supports the muzzling of people who raise the issues outlined above.

I realise that writing letters to these people is unlikely to shame them into resigning, but I attach contact details anyway, and encourage readers to drop them a line:

Hong Kong Muslims protest anti-Islam film, cartoons

Thousands of Muslims in Hong Kong protested against an anti-Islam film and French cartoons Sunday, briefly scuffling with police as they tried to deliver a letter to the US consulate.

The protesters, who numbered more than 3,000 according to police and organisers, held up banners to denounce the film and cartoons as they marched through the city chanting “Allahu akbar” or “God is greater”.

The group, including women in headscarf and children, briefly clashed with police as they tried to break through a cordon outside the US consulate to deliver a petition letter, according to an AFP reporter at the scene.

“Freedom of speech should not be used against any religion,” Saeed Uddin of the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong, a group that claims it represents some 300,000 Muslims in the city, said before the march.

“This is not the first time that our Holy Prophet has been insulted and attacked,” he said, branding the cartoons and the film as “malicious, disrespectful and derogatory”.

Uddin, a Pakistani who has lived in the southern Chinese city for 35 years, urged the American and French governments to take action against the filmmaker and cartoonist who are behind the controversial works.

The “Innocence of Muslims” film, an amateur production that went virtually unnoticed for months, has sparked violent protests across the Muslim world and left more than 50 people dead since September 11.

A Pakistani minister on Saturday placed a $100,000 bounty on the head of the filmmaker and called on the Taliban and Al-Qaeda to join the hunt.

French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday published cartoons portraying Prophet Mohammed naked, further fuelling Muslim anger.

The following overview from Fox News summarizes the perplexing unresolved questions about the deadly incident in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. It rules out the possibility that the attack was spontaneous, mentions the possible complicity of locals hired as security at the consulate, and discusses the appalling lack of personal security surrounding the ambassador.

Then there is the response of the Obama administration. Are they really that incompetent and/or witless? Or do they think the American public is too stupid to notice the absurdity their self-serving and conflicting statements?

Muslims staged a large street demonstration in the Nigerian city of Kano, condemning anyone who blasphemes the prophet and singling out the United States and Israel for special criticism. Elsewhere in Nigeria, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside a Catholic church, injuring three bystanders.

In other news from Nigeria, a young gay actor was convicted of “acts against nature” for his brief tryst with another young man. He was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.

A couple of days ago Martin Schulz, speaker of the European parliament, sat side-by-side with a couple of Arabs in front of the TV cameras. In a formal statement, he expressed his abject submission to Islamic law by declaring his solidarity with Muslims in their outrage against the Mohammed movie, and he condemned those who made it.

This act of blatant dhimmitude didn’t sit too well with his fellow Europeans, and a Dutch TV program cornered Mr. Schulz and confronted him about his illiberal behavior.

Anti-Islam Film Continues to Make Waves Around the World

The speaker of the European parliament has strongly condemned the recent anti-Islam film Innocence of Muslims. But he in his turn has been roundly criticised for giving in to extremists. The film continues to provoke fierce reactions in the Western as well as the Arab world.

“I condemn strongly not only the content but also the distribution of such a movie, which is humiliating the feelings of a lot of people all over the world,” said a press statement issued yesterday by Martin Schulz, the speaker of the European parliament, in reaction to the amateur video that has led to sometimes violent protests throughout the Islamic world.

Wrong side

Dutch Euro-parliamentarian Hans van Baalen is unimpressed: “Schulz should be standing up for the freedom of expression”, the centre-right MEP told a Dutch radio station.

“This denunciation puts him on the wrong side of the argument. He’d have been better off saying that while he personally might find it a bad film, it must be possible to make and distribute it”. According to van Baalen, someone who is on the right side is the Moroccan-Dutch Mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Abu Taleb. “He spoke out for freedom of expression and advised Muslims to ignore the film”. Van Baalen emphasised that Abu Taleb is himself a Muslim. Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders was also quick to condemn Schulz’s statement. Via Twitter, Wilders called him a ‘coward’ who had ‘sentenced freedom of speech to death’…

Our Norwegian correspondent The Observer has translated an article from Aftenbladet about yesterday’s Islamic rallies in Oslo against the Innocence of Muslims trailer:

“Indefensible that Stang will be present at the rally against the Muhammad movie”

The Mayor of Oslo, Fabian Stang (H), should focus on defending free speech in stead of participating in a rally against the Muhammad movie, says Christian Tybring-Gjedde [FRP – Progress Party].

On Friday afternoon the Islamic Council of Norway organized a rally against the movie “The Innocence of Muslims” which has led to violent riots in numerous countries during the last few days.

The Islamic Council condemns what they call a hate video and “agree with Muslims’ condemnation and indignation about the film’s content and message.”

However, the Council urges all Muslims to remain calm. The council is staging the rally “in solidarity against the insult.”

“Caves in to meaningless criticism”

The mayor of Oslo Fabian Stang [Høyre — Conservatives] held an appeal at the rally, something which the leader of the Progress Party in Oslo strongly dislikes.

“I find it absolutely reprehensible that the Mayor of Oslo would take part in such a pointless rally. Whatever he says there will be a legitimization of the demonstration and the right of Muslims to feel resentment and rage,” Christian Tybring-Gjedde tells Aftenposten’s online newspaper, aftenposten.no.

He believes that the mayor leaves himself wide open to criticism by attending the rally. “The video is pretty bad, but that’s beside the point. What we really should do is ignore this matter. What we are doing now is to open ourselves wide open to pointless collective criticism. We should never apologize for using our freedom of speech,” says the FRP leader.

“Police in the mosque is a defeat”

Tybring-Gjedde emphasizes that Muslims and everybody else should be allowed to demonstrate against whatever they want. “But the fact that mayors attend a rally against free speech is disgraceful. What he should do is to stand up for freedom of expression,” says Tybring-Gjedde.

He is highly skeptical of the fact that the police last week addressed the congregation of a mosque in connection with the riots

“It is in itself a genuflection, but at least they did it out of safety concerns. That is not the case with Stang,” says Tybring-Gjedde.

Stang: Great manifestation of freedom of speech

Unlike Tybring-Gjedde, Fabian Stang believes that the demonstration is a “tribute to freedom of expression.”

“I see today’s events as a great manifestation of the freedom that we have in Norway. Here we have a group who wish to express their feelings about this film,” says Stang to aftenposten.no.

Stang intended to say something about freedom of speech, that it is OK to be angry, but that it is unacceptable to react with violence to expressions. There was never a question about whether he should attend or not.

“It is my understanding that the purpose of the rally is to reject meeting hate speech with violence. But if some want to abuse this event to act violently or to throw stones or whatever it may be, then of course I will strongly condemn it,” says Stang.

“What do you think of the criticism from Tybring-Gjedde?”

“In the words of Voltaire: ‘I will defend with my life his right to disagree with me.’ I will always defend Tybring-Gjedde’s right to express his opinions and I only wish that he would grant me the same generosity,” says Stang.

A group of radical Muslims called the Prophet’s Ummah will stage a rally outside the U.S. Embassy at the same time that the Islamic Council stage their rally in Youngstorget [Young’s Square – downtown Oslo].

The Observer also translated what Stang said at the rally, plus comments by a Norwegian bishop who attended the rally:

Stang’s statement
“Someone said that I really disagree with what you are saying, but I will defend with my life your right to say it. Unfortunately, there are some who abuse the freedom of expression to hurt the feelings of others. Such abject abuse must be met with courage and solidarity. It is understandable to react with anger and rage when what we hold dearest is mocked and humiliated. But we will never respond to such behavior with violence.”

Bishop Kvarme’s statement:

“Today we have gathered because we are upset, but also because we want to strengthen and protect the cohesion of our society. The filmmakers wanted to provoke and incite hatred, and unfortunately they have succeeded in doing that. Today, we stand together against such violations, but we also stand up against reactions that drag people into a spiral of violence and destruction,” he said.

Protests against the Mohammed movie spread to Taipei, Dearborn, and Montreal. Very few places have yet to experience an outpouring of Muslim rage over the film. Still to come: Greenland, Mongolia, Fiji, and Uruguay.

Meanwhile, thirteen people were killed in Pakistan during riots protesting the movie.

In other news, unemployment in Tunisia reached 11.5%. The south of the country has been particularly hard-hit, and a famine is feared in the region.

In a cabinet reshuffle yesterday, Prime Minister Stoltenberg provided Modern Multicultural Norway with its first Muslim cabinet minister — as Minister of Culture.

Our Norwegian correspondent The Observer has translated an article about this historic event. The translator includes this note:

Norway has gotten its first token immigrant/Muslim government minister. That happened on Friday after a cabinet reshuffle.

According to this article the Labour Party is desperately trying to attract more immigrant votes. This is not really breaking news, but nevertheless the study highlighted in this article seems to corroborate this fact.

It’s strange that the Labour Party is appointing a member from the immigrant community considering, that there was a big hoo-ha in 2011 when about a dozen or so immigrant candidates were elected to represent the Oslo chapter of the Labour Party. The Norwegian candidates were up in arms because they felt that they were being squeezed out. They even suggested implementing changes that would limit the number on immigrant candidates in leading positions.

But I guess as long as the buffoons in the Labour Party get the immigrant vote, they can allow one of them to climb up to their own ranks. If the number becomes too high, however, they will more than likely put up a stink.

A Strategic choice to appoint Tajik

By appointing Hadia Tajik as a government minister the Labour party has tightened its grip on the votes of non-Western immigrants.

In an upcoming study, Professor of Political Science at the University of Oslo Tor Bjørklund and his colleague Johannes Bergh have found that the attack on July 22 has resulted in an even stronger support for the Labour Party among voters from the specific group ‘non-Western immigrants’.

The appointment of Hadia Tajik as minister of Culture is a strategic choice by the Labour Party, says Bjørklund.

“The fact that Tajik is now in the cabinet is a message that there are eyes within the Labour Party that look into the future. Alert strategists have discovered that the ‘voter group’ non-Western immigrants is growing. This particular group has always had a soft spot for the Labour Party,” says Bjørklund.

A boost after July 22

His research of the municipal elections in 2011 shows that support for the Labour Party among non-Western immigrants has increased compared with the 2007 election.

Back then the party had approximately a 50 percent support among this group, while in 2011 this support climbed to 64 percent. The survey shows that many voters among this group left SV (socialist left) in favour of the Labour Party.

“One would expect after a series of immigration-critical initiatives that the Labour party would face some problems in the 2011 election, but then July 22 happened. And we have noticed that the effect of the attack was greatest among non-Western immigrants. They felt that July 22 affected them more than ethnic Norwegians. And these voters chose to vote for the Labour Party,” says Bjørklund.

Record numbers of individuals with non-Western backgrounds were elected in the municipal elections and this was felt most strongly within the Labour Party.

“It was a reminder of the disputed issues of multicultural Norway. The Labour Party was a victim, and shared a common fate with the immigrants. Many of those who died on Utøya had immigrant backgrounds, and when the various Ministers from the Labour Party read eulogies at funerals this impression was reinforced,” says Bjørklund.

“More visible”

Bjørklund points out that the Labour Party has long struggled to find a leading representative of non-Norwegian ethnic background:

• Manuela Ramin-Osmundsen was appointed in October 2008 as Minister of children and Equality, but had to resign after only four months.
• Saera Kahn had to resign from Parliament in 2008 when it was uncovered that she had called clairvoyant services from her Parliament office.

“Ramin-Osmundsen was not a typical representative from the immigrant community. Hadia Tajik, however, represents the second generation of immigrants. This appointment is a signal that the party intends to include this growing constituency in the party’s most important positions. Outwardly this is very noticeable. A minister of culture constantly appears in the media and the culture aspect can be a link between minorities and Norwegians,” says Bjørklund.

Untapped resource

Non-Western immigrants have previously been part of the “sofa voters”. Bjørklund believes that they are now on their way up and heading for the polling stations, and this could be significant.

In other countries there are numerous examples of immigrant groups determining the election. In Norway this group is growing — and it is an untapped resource and the Labour Party has understood this, he says. Bjørklund has studied minorities and elections since 1995. He and Bergh were commissioned by the Ministry of Integration to study the municipal elections in 2011.

The Norwegian Bureau of Statistics carried out the survey.

It’s been a long time since Dymphna went to the emergency room, and she has been pining for it, so we decided to set out on a Saturday jaunt so that she could enjoy the hospitality of the our local health care system.

Dymphna had to crash as soon as she got in, but she asked me to tell you the story: She had blood work done during her visit to the doctor yesterday, and the doctor called this morning and said that the results indicated that there might be a blood clot in her lung. She needed to have a CT scan to rule that possibility out, so that’s how we spent our Saturday. Fortunately, a clot was ruled out. She was allowed to go home without being arrested — I mean, admitted.

A long boring afternoon and early evening in an extremely cold radiology department — we got off lightly!

Muslims in Australia report a surge of hate mail and threats in the wake of last weekend’s violent riots in downtown Sydney, when Muslim groups went on a rampage, ostensibly protesting against the Mohammed movie. But the Australian franchise of Hizb ut-Tahrir rejected calls for calm, and exhorted its members to redouble their resistance to the West.

Meanwhile, in addition to Pakistan, protests against the movie broke out in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Serbia, and Norway.

Also, there is a debate in Germany about whether the country’s so-called “blasphemy law” would prohibit the screening of the infamous Mo-Movie.

Swedish Muslims are planning a demonstration in Stockholm tomorrow afternoon to show their displeasure with the Mohammed movie, which they consider blasphemous and insulting to the world’s 4.77 quintillion Muslims.

Our Swedish correspondent has sent a translation of a letter from a Muslim group to Prime Minister Reinfeldt Foreign Minister Bildt. The translator includes this note:

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 22 the ‘Imam Ali Islamic Center’ is organizing a “peaceful” demonstration in Stockholm.

It begins at 1400 on Östermalmstorg. According to their spokesman the current video insulting the Prophet Muhammad is worse than the Holocaust.

In a letter the ‘Imam Ali Islamic Center’ exposes the Swedish Foreign Minister to light extortion:

We believe that these forces intend to increase hostility to Islam, which in turn paves the way for hostile counter-action, which politicians have a major responsibility to stop.

Once again, and against all the principles of freedom, the last Prophet, who announced the final revelation for all mankind, is insulted by a group of shameless people.

The latest shameful movie against the Prophet Muhammad is contrary to the given principles that should apply to peaceful coexistence among different groups within a society.

‘Imam Ali Islamic Center’, which is one of the largest Islamic congregations in Scandinavia, therefore wants to draw your attention to the following:

1.		One of the main principles of peaceful coexistence is that different religious faiths and ideologies are respected. The shameful movie in question is an insult to all Muslims, who make up a quarter of the Earth’s inhabitants. It is therefore an affront to the principle of peaceful coexistence and respect for dissents.
2.		The Quran teaches us to accept criticism and to discuss with the dissidents, but not to insult prophets, saints and respected personalities of different religions including Islam, Christianity and Judaism. This is a disgusting Act intended to DEVASTATE peaceful coexistence and should be condemned by those who want to keep or promote peace.
3.		Many of the hostile actions against Muslims, especially after September 11, are due to ignorance about Islam and its divine principles. Producing shameful movies and disparaging caricatures, in our opinion, stems from ignorance about Islam. But the most recent film, as the producer himself admits in an interview with Israeli and American media, is driven deliberately and against the policy objectives. We believe that these forces intend to increase hostility to Islam, which in turn paves the way for hostile counter-action, which politicians have a major responsibility to stop.

4.		We believe that the recent shameful picture is included in part of a systematic effort sponsored by groups whose purpose is to create strife between Muslims and other groups.
5.		Although the film has offended Muslims’ feelings, this must not lead to attacking U.S. and other embassies worldwide. We therefore condemn such attacks because we know that Islam is a peaceful message.
6.		We expect the Swedish Foreign Ministry to convey our complaints to the international community and wish that both the Swedish Foreign Ministry and the international community would condemn the shameful film and all similar actions.
7.		Finally, we suggest, on behalf of all Swedish Muslims , that a law be passed in the country that criminalises insults to all religions. This is to ensure peaceful coexistence in our society. We hope that Sweden will be a pioneer in enacting such a law guaranteeing the given human rights.
