Reality Bleeds to Death as the Ummah Celebrates

by Seneca III

In this once green and pleasant land where reality and truth are now under attack from every quarter there are few voices brave enough to speak out publicly. One of them is (was?) the relatively new Broadcaster GB News, which is rapidly overtaking the long-standing BBC in viewership. Since its inception GBN has had to exist under the axe of impending closure (i.e., having its broadcasting licence withdrawn by the Quangonistas of Ofcom, the Broadcasting Regulator staffed almost exclusively by ex-BBC apparatchiks who are determined to protect their mentor’s tax-funded monopoly).

As a consequence, GB News has to tread very carefully indeed, particularly with what it posts in the comments section below each programme.

As I write, the programme still being presented by the charming and erudite Emily Carver is dealing with the horrendous ‘demonstrations’ that took place in several major British cities yesterday, where howling mobs of Muslims of various flavours, including ‘Palestinians’ (to whom we have granted asylum, residency, free accommodation and endless handouts), vented their blood lust, both verbally and with banners, and called for another holocaust, essentially, the extermination of all Jews in general and Israelis and Israel in particular.

Our governing classes have since postured and snivelled in the public media, both broadcast and in print, in essence claiming that that these savages haven’t actually broken any laws and that is why the police were extremely limited in any actions that they could take.

Make of that what you will. I present it is as the background to the short story which follows and which illustrates what a collection of angst-ridden wet wipes some of us are becoming. Aux armes, mes amis!

To continue. I have an old friend, not just old in friendship but older in years as well, which is quite remarkable in view of my increasing decrepitude. That said, he is an acute observer of our troubling times, and occasionally posts in the comments section following GB News programmes. This morning he attempted to post a comment re. the Emily Carver presentation, but was knocked back twice without explanation, despite having asked why it had been knocked back in the first case.

He received no reply, so I will reproduce his comment below as a public service, but first I will tell you that he asked me if I could hazard a guess as to why this had happened. All I could offer was to suggest that his comment was both reasonable and correct in all particulars but that such things no longer carry any weight in public discourse, for the fearful and the treacherous now have full control of the levers of power and the mainstream media are fully complicit therewith.

Here is what he said:

Yet more anti-British ‘demonstrations’, Emily. There can no longer be any doubt, we are now a majority indigenous people at war with a growing minority alien enemy within and we are going to have to learn how to survive under this fire then respond in kind until they are no more. Decades of spineless politicians, aided and abetted by inimical infiltrators, have made our lives lean, crabbed and fearful in the mass; they have succeeded in rendering us collectively slothful, patriotically destitute and even cowardly.

Individually, however, we are none of those things. We are a people who are instinctively energetic, steadfast, carelessly large-hearted and courageous and so, once again, as we have done many times before we need a new Arthur to step forth.

“And that same night in the New Year,
By reason of the bitterness and grief,
That vexed his mother, all before his time,
Was Arthur born, and all as soon as born,
Delivered at the postern gate
To Merlin, to be holden far apart
Until his hour should come.”

(Alfred, 1st Baron Tennyson)

  1. Well written.

Palestinianism is a dogma of leftist origin. Historically Palestine has no status.

Our UK politicians sold us out to islam decades ago and tolerance of the Palestinian “cause” is one of the many prices we have to pay. Some years ago I felt compelled to leave the UK as I was unable to protect my wife from the predatory hosts of mohammed whose representatives now run our country. I am never going back and I will leave the UK to drown in its own mass “left leaning” inertia.

  2. His thoughtcrime is to suggest that our “multicultural” society is going to descend into civil war. In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

  3. “until they are no more”

This sentence may be one reason why the comment was deleted, IMO. Because it can also be [mis]understood as a public exhortation for the annihilation, i.e. unprovoked mass murder, of innocent human beings (Muslims) in a vigilante justice style — thus derailing the conversation about the legitimate and effective defense against Islamic Jihad.

Instead, something like “until Islam is no more in the West” should be the proper mission statement.

My other concern in the comment in question is “respond in kind”. We’re talking about Jihad that’s merciless to human beings, especially to the Kafir. If we Westerners become merciless to people in general, we immediately become half Muslims, as we lose one main cornerstone of our civilization.

But of course we should be merciless to Islam.

Before anyone tries to misinterpret my words: no, I’m not talking about softness and submission to Jihadist combatants.

On the other hand (observing from Hungary) GB News is too wishy-washy for my taste. (Not that in Hungary all the media outlets are honest.) For example GB News talks about “Islamism”, which smells of controlled opposition. That can also be the reason why they delete comments…

Unfortunately however, I understand that the reality of life in some Sharia-zones in GB may have become that of an “eye-for-an-eye” battlefield for many native non-Muslims. But we should not aim for such an attitude.

The fighter that best embodies my views is Tommy Robinson. He fights against Islam, not against Muslims.

Annihilate Islam and you get rid of Muslims. Annihilate Muslims and you become a Muslim.

    • This! Is why we will lose against islam and the 3rd worlders, trying to take the high moral ground in a fight against these bloody savages is a losing proposition, You fight them until none are left, and by any and all means necessary, nothing is off limits in the end, history only remembers the Victors and no one cares how they won. You will learn this lesson the good ole fashioned way, the hard way.

      • You’re both right.

“Do not believe them” is right when the situation is largely under control. “G” is right when it has gone too far.

One notices, as an aside, that the Israelis are having some hiccoughs in making that transition, now that they need to. Which makes me think that the rest of the West likely won’t until it’s way too far, if ever.

        Yup.

    • I disagree. First, ideas cannot be destroyed, at most they can be made unwise to display publicly and thus driven underground.

Second, Islam is an inherently anti-civilizational phenomenon and therefore anyone professing it should be considered as having forfeited the protection of civilization. Muslims, the people, are the tangible and direct enemy, not abstract Islam. Just like a snake in the grass is the traveller’s enemy, rather than Snakeism. Taking out the snake before it takes you out does not make you a half-snake; it does ensure that you don’t become literally a half-human, with the other half deep down the beast’s throat.

    • So much pussy futting

      Revoke citizenships
      Eliminate
      Close all mosques
Hunt and eliminate all illegal mosques

  4. Very lucid and even charming essay on these difficult times. I consider it my 70th birthday present. Thank you.

  5. Eastern Palestine (sometimes known as the North African Palatinate) has a long history, Peter. In 6 AD, the Roman Empire established a province over the area known as Judaea, then in 132 AD (the time of the Bar Kokhba revolt) formed it into Syria Palaestina. In 390, during the Byzantine period, the region was split into the provinces of Palaestina Prima, Palaestina Secunda, and Palaestina Tertia.
Following the Muslim conquest of the Levant in the 630’s, the military district of Jund Filastin was established. Palestine’s boundaries have changed throughout history, but it has generally comprised the southern portion of wider regional designations such Syria or the Levant. It conceptually overlaps with several historical and cultural terms, including Canaan, and the Promised Land, Holy Land and Land of Israel in Judeo-Christian tradition. Rgds, SIII

  6. I had a heated discussion with a raving western leftist loonie not so long ago. I said, “If Israelis were Muslim, not Jewish, would we have such chaos around planet”, “Would anyone careless, if Muslims began fighting, kill and slaughtering each other over land issues”

On another note, the Ottoman Empire ruled over Palestine (and Gaza) for more than 300 years. They didn’t build, construct, help or aid anyone through that time period while occupying Palestine — what does that tell you?

    • Ottomans …real Ottomans … were only 10-15% of the population of Asia Minor; the vast majority of “Turks” were/are ethnically/genetically Greeks, Kurds, or Armenians. Why would any of those four groups help Arabs build a country? Did the Arabs ever do anything positive for the Greeks, Armenians or especially the Kurds? No quid pro quo. One hand strangles the other. Stab my back, I’ll stab yours. Eh?
Perhaps one day the “turks” will realize their actual heritage, and throw off the yoke of “submission”.

  7. UK Police ‘stopped the pro-Israel rally in London due to safety fears’.

That’s how terror and intolerance work. They are winning.

Logic would tell you to cancel the rally that is raising the safety concerns, not the rally that is the target of those concerns.

The world is going to swing hard right because of it, which will cause more problems and the left will have no one to blame but themselves.

The left won’t blame itself, because this is all the [excrement] they’ve been saying for years now. They believe that the West needs to pay. It’s self-flagellation on a large and collective scale.

Remember the mantra from a couple of years ago: “Intolerant of Intolerance”.

We’re going to see a pivot and a big comeback of it in an unintended fashion.

Popper’s paradox is mostly misused anyway as a form of convenience, yet, here we are.
Sucks if you’re Jewish though. World swings left: hate the Jews. World swings right: hate the Jews.

They have to provide a sane alternative and remind the EU that asylum seekers were meant to be temporary and it’s entirely okay to revoke asylum in cases of terrorism, hate speech, and support of terrorism whether it’s the original asylum seeker or their descendants.

If that switch doesn’t flip fast enough – the EU will have a problem.

    • The only mantra that will be spoken is, no more muslims = no more problems, how it gets done is a small matter of semantics.
