The Peaceful Sweden Has Been Abolished

In seven hours between March 4 and March 5, 2024, bombs detonated at two different apartment buildings in the Stockholm region, in Lidingö and Farsta.[1] Individuals suspected of being linked to rival factions in the country’s bloody gang wars are said to be living at these locations.[2]
Two bombs in one day in Sweden’s capital and Scandinavia’s largest city would at one time have been truly unexpected and shocking. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Now, it is just another Monday or Tuesday. This is the brutal reality of Swedish society today.
Over the years I have written many essays about crime in Sweden. If I no longer do so as frequently as before, this is not because crime has gotten less. It is simply more difficult to mobilize sufficient mental energy to write about unpleasant subjects such as gang rapes or gang crimes.
You know that there will be more bombings, shootings, or arson attacks in Sweden next week, and the week after that, and the week after that. Why write about all of them? This is hardly news anymore. It is simply part of everyday life.
Perhaps this can be described as a form of war fatigue.
I was a child in the 1980s and understood little of Islam or ethnic conflicts. Nevertheless, I remember sometimes mentally tuning out when hearing news from the war in Lebanon. There is only so much human suffering one can stomach. Yes, it was sad to hear about people being killed in attacks, but one expected more deadly attacks in Lebanon the next day.
I had similar reactions to the wars in the Balkans in the 1990s, after the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. Hearing about human beings being shot or bombed was always horrible. But again, one fully expected more of the same next week, and was often proven right.
Partly to my dread, I realize that I now have similar mental reactions to atrocities in Sweden and other countries in Western Europe. I suffer from war fatigue. Not from attacks in Lebanon or the Balkans, but in France, Germany, Italy, Britain, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
It may sound strange to develop war fatigue from countries that are nominally at peace. Yet Sweden suffers from violent attacks of some kind almost daily. Is that truly what peace looks like?
In 2008, the Swedish writer Anders Lugn wrote an article titled “Sweden’s road to disaster.” Somewhat unusually, he even had this text published in the major newspaper Aftonbladet. In the 1980s, Lugn served as a captain in UN-led peacekeeping forces in Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. While living there, he asked himself how it was possible for such a wonderful country with so many good people to commit national suicide and self-destruct? Among several reasons for the collapse of Lebanese society he mentions a weak sense of national identity and common values, weak national armed forces, a weak police force, easy access to weapons (legal or illegal), and easy access to drugs. There was also a general sense of powerlessness among average citizens.[3]
Anders Lugn was deeply concerned to observe that many of the factors that contributed to a brutal civil war in Lebanon are now also at work in his native Sweden.
Things have gotten a lot worse since then. In 2024 Swedish authorities publicly admit that the number of individuals linked to violent criminal gangs in Sweden almost certainly exceeds the country’s entire police force.[4]
This development did not happen overnight, though. Many people and groups contributed to the disaster.
Birgitta Ohlsson, born in 1975, has been an active politician for several decades. Between 1999 and 2002, she was chair of the Liberal Youth of Sweden (LUF), the youth wing of the Swedish Liberals.
While becoming a young Liberal leader, Ohlsson in 1999 gave an interview with the newspaper Aftonbladet in which she stated that “I want to dissolve the nation states.”[5]
In the same article, Ohlsson further said that as a feminist, she also wanted “to dissolve gender roles.” In her mind, fighting against the nation state and against the patriarchy were apparently two sides of the same coin. Which, indeed, has often been the case in Sweden as well as in other Western countries for the past 50 years.
In 2001, Ohlsson had a debate article published in the Swedish national newspaper Expressen on June 6, the National Day of Sweden. The article was titled “Abolish Sweden!” (“Avskaffa Sverige!”). In it she stated plainly that in a globalized world, nation states must be dismantled:
“It is time for us who call ourselves world citizens to dust off world federalism as a vision for a more just world, by striving for a global union with a federalist state. Each country must cede parts of its national sovereignty. Through a global legal order, conflicts between peoples can be resolved peacefully. A global law must be enacted by a democratically elected world parliament and enforced by a world police. The idea of peace is central to world federalism, as is the belief in international law and our common responsibility to ensure that human rights are fulfilled everywhere.”[6]
That the leader of one of Sweden’s political youth movements publicly advocated abolishing Sweden did not harm her political career. On the contrary.
In the 2002 general election, Birgitta Ohlsson was elected a member of the Swedish parliament (Riksdag) for the Liberals. She retained her position as an MP for the next 16 years, until 2018.[7]
From 2010 to 2014 Ohlsson was Minister for European Union Affairs in the cabinet of Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. As late as in 2017, she nearly became party leader of the Liberals.
While no longer a Member of Parliament today, Birgitta Ohlsson has expressed no public regret for the immense damage that mass immigration has done to Sweden and the rest of Europe.
During the 2022 general election, Ohlsson admitted that she did not vote for the Swedish Liberals, which she has represented for several decades. Instead, she voted for the Centre Party. She feared that the Sweden Democrats (SD), who have been critical of mass immigration, would gain political influence.[8]
In October 2022, the Moderate Party leader Ulf Kristersson was elected Prime Minister of a coalition government consisting of the Moderate Party, the Christian Democrats, and the Liberals. They rely on parliamentary support from the Sweden Democrats.
The Liberals and other Swedish parties currently attempt to govern a violent and unstable society, critically damaged by decades of immigration from incompatible cultures which they have themselves promoted.
The previously peaceful Swedish society has already been abolished. Forceful action will be required to save what remains of the Swedish nation.

I agree. Does he really think Lebanon imploded because of “easy access” to weapons? That does not matter in a homogenous society. Lebanon was killed by islam.
Homogenous societies are peaceful high trust societies, diversity/multiculturalism are low trust highly volatile countries where bloodshed is always, without exception, the end result, throw islam into the bloody mix and you have instant conflict.

Huge numbers of Chinese came to America following the “gold rush” in the later half of the 19th century and they caused no bloodshed that I’m aware of.
Huge numbers of Jews and eastern Europeans came to America in the later half of the 19th and early 20th centuries and they caused no bloodshed that I’m aware of.
Groups like these came to America with marketable SKILLS that enabled them to PRODUCE for and with the GOAL to BECOME AMERICANS. They generally became proficient in English and assimilated into American CULTURE within one generation.
In contrast, two CULTURES for which I think your point is salient: 1) negroes, who were imported into America by FORCE and existed as SLAVES; and 2) Hispanics (principally Mexicans), who often SNUCK into America in order to receive free [guano] from the “gringos”.
However, groups like these came to (or were imported into) America with little or NO marketable SKILLS and quickly became CONSUMERS, often crafting unique languages (e.g., Ebonics) and moral codes in an effort to remain DISTINCT from the indigenous American culture.
I think it’s undeniable that diversity DOES work with CULTURES that come to a country to ASSIMILATE into existing culture. But it does NOT work with CULTURES that come to a country to SEPARATE themselves from the existing culture.
The Chinese stick with their own, the East Europeans are Europeans and fit in with American society and have since the turn of the 20th Century. Now with the invasion of the 3rd world, we now have Balkanization and eventually massive bloodshed, as history has demonstrated time immortal. No country survives diversity, ever.

A few minutes apart, two explosions occurred at the gates of apartment buildings on the same street in Västra Frölunda in Gothenburg.
– It is at two different addresses, and it has happened on the outside of the entrances, says police officer Göran Carlbom.
The alarm about loud bangs reached the police at 01.32 on Wednesday night.
Several residents in the area had been awakened by two explosions, which occurred at two entrances to two apartment buildings on the same street in Västra Frölunda.
– They are quite close to each other, and the explosions have occurred on the outside. The entrance doors have been damaged,” says Göran Carlbom, officer in charge of the police.

Sweden could be fixed easily by cutting off the welfare, but oligarch’s enriching themselvs from the taxpayer via welfare is the main game. Very few of them start a steel mill or an aluminium smelter or electricity plant as that involves risky investment and hard work. Sucking up government money is effortless and no capital at risk. The government always pays on time and in full.
Moreover, Jihad and Islamic “gang violence” go hand in hand when it comes to conquest by harming the Dirty Kuffar.
So yes, the peaceful Sweden has been abolished FOR EVER.

If the people of Sweden and Scandinavia want their culture and themselves to survive, it’s high time for them to revive the Viking Spirit inside of them. It is hybernating subconsciously in most Scandinavian folks, but most of them are not aware of it anymore, or have been conditioned to condemn this wild, pure and natural side of themselves as a result of 1000 year’s of detrimental conditioning by misunderstood Christianity, 500 years of the even more destructive Protestant version of it, more than 200 years of conflict-avoidant pacifism, 100 years of socialistic wellfare state passivity, more then 50 years of left-winged political correctness and collective white, male and heterosexual guilt and, worst of all, more than 20 yearsof even worse intrinsic self-loathing through post-modern wokeness. These tendencies all built on each other, so without the initial Christianisation of Northern Europe, we would stil be able to fight off attacks by outer agressors.
The saddest point of all, however, is that Christianity could have made Northern-Europe stronger instead of weaker, if it had been introduced differently and for a different reason. The problem was, that it was not allowed to grow organically inside the Nordic nations and tribes, and that it was not introduced for reason of spiritual growth, but that it was imported in a foreign and exotic form, and implemented more for legal and political reasons than for moral and spiritual ones.
As a result, we had to deal with grave misunderstandings as a rsult of mistranslations from the Bible andcollective moral confusion due to a huge cultural gap between the Eastern Meditterraenean world, where Christianity originated, and the Nordic world, where it was hastily imported without regard for the local traditions.
Some of the central misunderstandings to note:
When Christ said that one should ‘turn the other cheek’, He did not mean to let yourself be killed or suppressed, as it has been wrongly explained many times. In fact, He was teaching a Western-style form of Aikido: Train yourself mentally and physically to be sufficiently strong internally, so that you do not feel any physical pain the moment you are beaten by your enemy, and you are able to control your emotions, so you do not waste precious energy on futile fights. A strong controlled moral and spiritual stance will deter any agressive attacker more effectively than an equally agressive physical defence.
When Christ said that ‘the meek shall inherit Kingdom of God’, he dit not mean to promote cowards who dare not stand up for themselves (as the term ‘meek’ is understood by most of us), but those who are not boasting about their achievements, but remain humble even in the face of success and victory. The Nordics, like the Greeks, already knew that ‘hybris’ was one of the worst vices, which their Gods despiced more than anything else, and that ‘arrogance comes before the downfall’. They did not need the Bible to teach them this. They knew already that there is a huge difference between being ‘humble’, which is a positive quality, and being ”meek’, which is in fact no quality at all.
When Christ said ‘give the Caesar what belongs to Caesar’ and ‘My Kingdom is not of this world’, He did not mean to tell you to abstain from striving for temporal power and wealth, but to know that the core of your reason to exist lies somewhere else, in the Spiritual Realm, which is the only thing that matters in the end, hence making you in fact more able to manage temporary losses in the outer world, so making you more resilient in life as well as in battle.
Rudolf Steiner, Nikolaj Grundvig and Johan Vilhelm Snellman among others tried to teach the Nordic citizens awareness of the fact that they did not need to choose between being Nordic and keeping their intrinsic spiritual traditions alive, and being a true Christian at the same time. It’s a pity that their legacy hasn’t had the impact in their societies (yet) that it should have had (already).
I began studying Swedish in the 1990s and have translated many Swedish news articles for this site. It is downright depressing reading and hearing how a beautiful and previously successful country has all but destroyed itself. The same can be said for just about every western European nation.
At the risk of being a hypocrite, our own country is not far behind. But there is hope for us if Trump can win back the White House, the Republicans can win back Congress and develop some spine. With the exception of Meloni in Italy and Orban in Hungary, I don’t see Europe kicking the bums who have brought about this disaster out of office.
It doesn’t seem to matter how big the conservative parties become. The leftist parties just form coalitions to keep them from running the govt. A good example is Geert Wilders in the Netherlands. His party wins the last election, but Mark Rutte is still premier.
Sorry for Sweden but diversity has turned out not to be strength. Who knew. The only hope for the US is mass deportations but it’s too late to stop violence that’s inevitable.

Over the years, when this-or-that political leader or official of some kind has said, “Diversity is our strength,” how many people had the insight to ask whom and what the word “our” really meant?
The elites did not mean “our” as in the whole of society, but instead were referring to themselves. And indeed, the whole DEI/woke movement has indeed been their strength! Diversity, inclusion and equality aren’t for the benefit of society as a whole, or even the “minorities” so often mentioned with the issue is discussed… but for the ruling class themselves.

I think the same every time someone admonishes me to defend “our” democracy. I’m pretty certain their idea of democracy and mine don’t quite “gee – haw”, as my grandfather would say.
Women are a grave danger to societies. They should not have the vote and should not be power in any way, shape or form. They are generally illogical and over emotional. They are also romantically attracted to younger, manly men and so are often biased toward swarthy men. They are traitors to their tribe. They’d easily go off and breed with invaders who beat our men.
