A Sick Old Man Called CDA

H. Numan is back with an update on the Christian Democrat Party in the Netherlands, plus the latest multicultural Dutch news.

A sick old man called CDA

by H. Numan

A few days ago I wrote about the election of Pipo the Clown Hugo de Jonge as the newly-elected leader of the CDA (Dutch Christian Democrat party*). I explained a bit that his election wasn’t the smartest move and why. Well, it’s going to get worse. A lot worse. At this moment the CDA is a very sick old man. With very fancy shoes, I have to grant him that. Unfortunately, he’s standing in a pool with hungry sharks.

On the 17th of March 2021 we will have elections. Dutch elections are rather complicated, because we have so many parties*. More parties than a month has days, to be exact. So a coalition government must be formed. We have 150 seats in parliament, which requires a minimum of 76 seats for a workable cabinet. The biggest electoral victory ever was in 1977 by the socialists (PvdA), who took 53 seats. Even with that huge victory they couldn’t form a cabinet. They thought they could demand the moon. Reality hit them very hard when enough other parties teamed up together to scrape the required 76 seat majority. Which they did. The PvdA spent the next decade in the opposition.

This Mr. de Jonge is as ambitious as he is incompetent. There was a debate in parliament in which he had to defend himself against Geert Wilders, the leader of the PVV*. He didn’t defend himself at all. He just sat quietly at the back, waiting for Mark Rutte to do the saving. Geert Wilders was at his best. And de Jonge? Not so much. He sat quietly in the corner like a naughty schoolboy waiting for the trashing to be over. Even poor old Joe Biden would have done better…

His poor performance means that the sharks have smelled blood. Now everybody is out to get a piece of the corpse. Not by attacking de Jonge directly. There’s really no need for it. His faith is far worse. He is ignored. Wilders mentioned him, sure enough. But only because he is the minister of health, and as such responsible for the CCP virus debacle. Wilders didn’t attack him, but his ministry and the cabinet. So will all the others. The CDA will probably lose massively. So much so that it’s not at all unlikely they will have to merge with the CU (Christian Union*, communist Calvinist Christians) to survive.

How did this come to be? That’s because of the CDA mastodons. There is a huge difference — just like in your Democrat party — between what the party elite wants and what the voters want. The party elite is staunchly against Wilders and pro-political correctness. The voters are exactly the other way around. Perhaps not really in favor of the PVV; otherwise they would have voted for it. But definitely not against a coalition with the PVV. Unlike the party elite, who would rather shut the party down than work with Wilders. Even Rutte has no real problem with the PVV. Provided of course that he remains in power. But the CDA would rather dies than give in. Not a big problem, I think. That can be arranged.

The election of de Jonge was an internal election. Only card-carrying CDA members could vote. Most Dutch people are not members of any party. Of a population of 17 million, perhaps 40,000 people are members of the CDA party. The CDA is a big party; most parties have far fewer members. That meant that the election could easily be directed toward the desired result. Someone who really hates Wilders, not the other candidate (Pieter Omtzigt), who is more open for a compromise.

That opens a new track for the elections. Left and right are looking for the corpse that is the CDA. The party elite wants to turn left. The electorate does not. They have to decide now where to go. Some will turn left. But I think most will have no other option than go conservative. Do mind that I say: conservative, not right. If you read the party programs of really right-wing parties, you might think you were reading the same nonsense of really left-wing parties. There is very little difference between the extreme left and right. (Also in America.) In Dutch politics the conservative parties almost all moved to the left, which created a gap. That gap is filled by the PVV and to a lesser extend the Forum for Democracy (FvD). The CDA is polling at around 16 seats right now. They’ll be lucky to keep 10 of them.

That debate? Also something interesting. Our hard-working politicians, who just enjoyed a break of six virus months, were enjoying their well-deserved summer holiday. They were called back to debate the problems with the CCP virus. One of the items on the agenda was a bonus of €1000 to be given to all healthcare workers, for their hard work. A quorum is 76 members present. Not all parliamentarians were present, so the quorum was barely met to begin with. When the voting was about to happen, 33 members of the coalition quickly walked out. Which means there was no quorum, and therefore no vote. Nationwide, that action was rejected. Most of all by the health care workers. Just about everybody is ashamed of this clever penny-pinching trick.

Pipo the Clown Hugo de Jonge was also grilled for his heavy-handed new anti-virus measures. Some shops are now closed and cordoned off by the police, with lots of officers present. (For that kind of thing we have plenty of police.) Oh, is there one person too many in your shop? Too bad. We close it down, and you’ll get a fine for breaking the rules. The penalty now is four years in prison or a €100,000 fine. Most people obey the rules, and find it beyond the pale to be penalized like that. Just because Pipo Hugo wants to make an impression.

Something else happened over the weekend. It’s very rare for me to say that it’s hotter in Holland than in Thailand, but this is one of those occasions. People fled to the beaches to find relief. Also our lovable new Dutch who have a phobia for pork and some difficulty understanding Dutch culture. For years, decades actually, public pools have been harassed by horny mohammedan boys who think they are among their 72 virgins to do with what they please. Encouraged by their elders, who think nothing of raping infidel women.

Bas van Wijk was with some friends at the beach, near Amsterdam. A person was robbed of his watch, by one new Dutchman. He interfered. Told him we Dutch don’t do that. This new Dutchman obviously doesn’t know yet that carrying firearms is not done in The Netherlands. For he pulled a gun, and shot Bas five times. In the back. On a crowded beach. Then this new Dutchman and his friends calmly left the scene.

The police didn’t interfere. As you understand, now we don’t have enough police. Makes sense: they are used to cordon of shops with one customer too many. Only days later are suspects arrested. All suspects are Turkish. Yes, real Turks, with two passports. A Dutch (also known as the get-out-of-jail-free card) and a Turkish passport. But… politically correct as the police are nowadays, any mention of ethnicity was carefully removed. The perpetrator is described as “A white male, 20-30 years of age, black curly hair, goatee, wearing a hat. Extremely dangerous.”

The communist mayor of Amsterdam, my beloved comrade Femke Halsema, sprang directly in action. A silent march was organized, with a compulsory candle vigil. A very bad poem was also read in public. That’ll teach them there is no messing around in Amsterdam!

I left out mass disturbances on the beach of Scheveningen, including a stabbing (yup, a murder) and mass rioting in the ghetto of Schilderswijk, also in The Hague. The perpetrators were exclusively ‘new Dutch’, or as the media and the police now report it: white.

Will this be covered up? Of course. In America you have at least some media that reject the politically correct line, or do not support the Democrats. In Holland we’re not that lucky. Every newspaper, every TV channel — no exceptions — are firmly pro-multiculti as we call it, and against Wilders.

Only a few websites support the PVV some of the time. Dutch readers may know De Dagelijkse Standaard or DDS as a conservative blog. Don’t be fooled. The owner is Michael van der Galien. A real Dutchman …. who converted to mohammedanism. Which, to me, invalidates everything else. To be born in that religion is one thing, to convert as an adult quite another. No matter what. This site usually ridicules Wilders and the PVV 90% of the time. Only when they have no alternative but to praise him, will they do so. As little as they can get away with.

But I don’t despair. Not everything will be forgotten in seven months. A lot of it will still be in the voter’s memory. Given the fact that mohammedans are anxious to cash in on ‘this land will be our land, you will be our slaves’, not that much has to happen for Wilders to win.

  1. If these Long March Through the Institutions civilization destroying comrades would come out in clown shoes and hammer and sickle outfits…I might laugh at them.
They have no plan for after burning it all down. Ordo Ab Chao only works in the faculty lounge safe space after some bong hits with coloring books and Play-Doh.
    Plan accordingly.

  2. Like Turkey Johnson Ugly Patel the ultimate caricature of imperial nostalgia the Dutch seem unable and shoeless. Islam laughs its grass off.
