A demonstration in Berlin against the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany) was co-opted by Hamas supporters and repurposed as a protest in support of “Palestine”. For the anti-fascists who launched the original demonstration, it was kind of like clicking a link to a website that’s been hacked, and being redirected to a nasty porn site or phishing scam. “This is not what I wanted!”

What’s interesting about all this is the up-front way the culture-enrichers justified their action, saying in effect, “You wanted cultural enrichment, so here we are. Now you have to do things OUR way.”

On Alexanderplatz in Berlin, many wanted to demonstrate against the AfD, the “right wing” and “remigration”. But they are being pushed out by Arab Palestine protesters. Don’t you want us?” The desperate announcement from the microphone that anti-Semitism is “not an opinion” is lost in the disruptors’ shouts of “Free Palestine”. People who film the mob are harassed.

Suddenly the anti-AfD protesters themselves are being insulted as “Nazis” [Well, that’s exactly what they are.]

Armed with megaphones, the Palestine demonstrators start a fight for sovereignty at Alexanderplatz.
