Alice Weidel: They Bring This Affinity for Violence With Them

Alice Weidel is co-leader (with Tino Chrupalla) of the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany). In the following interview with the online news portal Nius, Ms. Weidel discusses the harm that mass immigration has done (and is still doing) to Germany.

Video transcript:

00:00   There are currently pictures of aggressive Islamists on German streets,
00:04   of anti-Semites marching through the streets and, as we have already mentioned,
00:08   in Essen even demanding a caliphate.
00:12   We’re seeing pictures here. What do these images evoke in you?
00:20   A big sobering up.
00:23   Something like that shouldn’t be happening.
00:26   You’ve spoken of “headscarf-girls” and “knifemen”,
00:30   and Greens and leftists accuse you of mainly referring to Muslims
00:35   and wanting to discriminate against them and being anti-Muslim.
00:40   Are you partly responsible for the hatred of foreigners in Germany,
00:45   as the Left always says?
00:48   I refute that, but I grew up in a village called Harsewinkel
00:57   in the East Westphalian region,
01:00   which even then was completely overstretched
01:06   and overwhelmed with Muslim foreigners.
01:11   I experienced as a girl, as a teenager, what it means to be at an outdoor pool,
01:18   what we experiencing today en masse,
01:21   in terms of insults from Muslim boys of the same age.
01:26   Even then I found that misogynistic and repulsive
01:31   and also intrinsic to the widest circles of people.
01:34   Consequently, I’ve always seen this embrace
01:39   of this mass influx very, very critically,
01:43   because it does not agree with a liberal democratic constitution
01:48   and with the equal rights of women.
01:52   It is not compatible. It doesn’t work.
01:56   Now the accusation is always that it is the lack of a welcoming culture in Germany
02:00   that leads to the bad attitude of the migrants.
02:04   What can one expect from a welcoming society
02:08   of acceptance? Of open arms?
02:14   Equality of opportunity. Everyone can migrate into the labor market, learn the language
02:19   and contribute positively to society with an appropriate level of education
02:24   and participation in the social system.
02:27   But that is just what we don’t see with these groups of people.
02:30   And accordingly, these also must be demanded.
02:33   Integration also means that a state must demand something of these people
02:39   and not only support them with tax money from the German population.
02:44   That will stop working at some point. We can see this now with our social insurance,
02:48   the gap in sustainability. What’s been run up is huge. It’s actually no longer affordable.
02:54   And accordingly, the state must demand it.
02:57   And people who don’t fit in here and thereby also endanger our freedom…
03:03   …as a woman alone I don’t want to ride the S-Bahn [commuter rail] at night here in Berlin
03:08   and then be accosted and harassed by groups of males.
03:13   We had 789 gang rapes in this country in the past year, two a day.
03:18   Excuse me, what have we come to? And these are by no means German citizens.
03:23   This also has to be said, which groups of people bring this affinity for violence with them.
03:30   And we have to talk about that. Not just violence and crude offenses against women,
03:35   but also knife crime, which has gone completely through the roof here.
03:39   And we finally have to talk about this.
03:42   These people who bring this with them, who import this criminality to our streets,
03:46   a woman’s rights to freedom and also, as a lesbian woman, as a homosexual woman.
03:53   I don’t want to be pushed off the roof later by a Muslim-majority society
03:58   according to Sharia law, with my bag over my head.
04:01   That is, to put it plainly, the welcoming culture and rainbows and all that
04:07   is such a contradiction in itself.
04:13   These people are embraced; practice Sharia law in their home countries
04:19   and actually want to do away with homosexuals,
04:23   because homosexuality, according to the Sharia, according to Muslim law,
04:27   is forbidden and punishable by death.
04:31   So I have to ask myself: what are we even talking about?
04:35   Would you therefore basically forbid immigration from the Middle East, from Muslim areas?
04:41   Because if someone comes from such a cultural circle and brings this imprint,
04:47   I think Sarrazin recently demanded this in the “Weltwoche” [magazine].
04:50   But that would mean that one would have to take an attitude test on arrival.
04:56   Yes, at the latest during the naturalization process you have to take that.
04:59   So I find it very difficult to generalize like that.
05:04   Mr. Sarrazin can go ahead and do that.
05:07   But in the end we have to be very, very careful, because we also have liberal Muslims.
05:13   And you simply should not lump everyone into the same group.
05:20   I was talking mainly about the people who go out on the street to demand a caliphate.
05:30   And of what I experienced in my childhood and my youth and also at schools
05:34   and in the outside swimming pools and everywhere.
05:37   It was hair-raising, why I’ve always looked at it critically.
05:41   But ultimately, during the naturalization process, it should actually become clear
05:44   whom we are dealing with, whether we want to naturalize these people or not.
05:49   Does the AfD differentiate enough between the good Muslim, between the greengrocer on the corner,
05:57   and the violent Islamist? Or don’t you in fact lump them all together?
06:04   No, not at all. I just described that to you. Everyone is welcome
06:08   who contributes to society in a positive way,
06:11   and doesn’t enter into the social system and interpret it
06:16   as an inverted poll tax, which is also part of Islam.
06:20   The whole conversation with Alice Weidel, where I ask in detail what the AfD
06:24   is actually planning on the borders, what she plans to do in the Mediterranean,
06:28   whether she wants to send the boats back, and what the AfD’s migration policy
06:31   would look like if it were to govern.
06:34   You can see that on www.nius.de.
06:38   It’s really worth it. Asked tough questions, an exciting conversation. Just take a look.

  1. This interviewer is either evil or in complete denial of reality. If he does not now realise and apologise for the massive harm that he is doing to Germans and Europeans he will definitely know in the next life.

  2. The problem we have is that “the violent Islamist” is actually “the good Muslim” – the one who follows the teachings of Islam and the example of his “prophet.” Islam is the problem. The problem is Islam.

  3. If feminists had been on the ball thirty years ago, there would be very few Muslims in the West because they would have protested against any of them coming here. It would be liberal Muslims only. Instead, it’s always the cry of racism directed at those of us who object to all this immigration. Occasionally, in the past I would respond to people calling me a racist by saying that they were sexist and homophobic and that therefore I had a two-to-one advantage over them. But of course one can always squirm one’s way out of that by insisting that the sexism and homophobia of the immigrants is really our fault, despite the fact that their cultures back home are sexist and homophobic.

Sadly for liberal Muslims, we are probably at a point where we can’t really distinguish them from other Muslims. We just have to say that they all need to go.

    • Maybe the ex mus lims is the way to go, there are millions and I think they have a YouTube channel called Atheists together or something like that. It is mentioned in this amazing video of a young Pakistani ex muzz and an Iranian ex muzz, both young. There is a clip from a football match in Iran, all the young Iranians are shouting something rude about the fakestinians…

  4. Yes, it will be a fun time when our “Queers for Palestine” and Teddy bear throwers find out how their “friends” really think.
They didnt listen to us, so maybe a little bit of pain will cure them – but I doubt it.

  5. Only last hope AFD , or game over, it’s getting out of the hand I. This country, and idiots like Him are in millions!!, I always thought Germans are intelligent people, I was wrong, Alice Wiedel for Chancellor!!, pronto , because time is running out !!
