The Gaza War — No Worries

Our Dutch correspondent H. Numan sends his analysis of the ongoing war in Gaza between Hamas and Israel.

The Gaza war — no worries

by H. Numan

We’re hearing very bad news from our highly biased media. Sure, they don’t (openly) approve of Hamas’ attack, but Israel had it coming! Of course they report everything. But they’d much rather publish unproven accusations about Israel than proven war crimes by Hamas. One of the latest hoaxes that goes around is that the war might spread to the entire region. That’s a real New York sandwich (baloney)!

All support for Hamas or the Palestinians rests on woefully naïve presumptions. For example: “Israel should respond proportionately”. Really? When did that ever happen? The US fleet should have sailed from Pearl Harbor, and sunk a number of Japanese battleships? That’s ranting nonsense. It’s not just ranting, it goes much further. It’s insane. If Israel should respond proportionately, they have to intentionally rape and kill Palestinian babies, torture Palestinian women and children, and intentionally kill 1,600 civilians. Then call it a day. Anyone using that argument has no idea at all what he or (usually she) is talking about. I don’t doubt that many more Palestinians are being killed right now, and will be killed. That’s what happens in war. The difference is the intention. The Israeli army takes great pride and care in trying to reduce the number of victims, while Palestinians take as much pride and care in maximizing the number of victims. As far as I know, the Israeli army is the only army that sends SMS to occupants of a building that’s going to be bombed.

Another unreasonable worry is Iran. “Israel has to restrain itself, otherwise Iran might have to act.” Really? With what? They are already involved up to their eyeballs. Just about every weapon, explosive or piece of munition used by Hamas comes from Iran. They can’t get any more involved unless they send in the Iranian army! There are three very good reasons why Iran will not do that.

1.   It’s a pretty long march to get there. Walking, driving, flying. Doesn’t matter. The Iranian army isn’t capable of doing that.
2.   Supporting the most vicious beasts since WW2 is one thing, actively siding with them quite another. The moment Iran openly sides with Hamas and declares war on Israel, they lose whatever support they had worldwide. And become the real pariah of the Middle East.
3.   Iran jumping in means that America has to jump in too. Something that worries Tehran a lot more than anything else. All America has to do is precision bomb the oil distribution facilities in the Persian Gulf and Iran is out of money and out of the war. Even better: America can do that with no US casualties, and very few on the Iranian side.

“Israel has to be careful of Hezbollah!” warn progressive liberals. You can read also: fashionable anti-Semites. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization in Lebanon, it is not the Lebanese government. Israel made it very clear to the Lebanese government that they would be personally held responsible if Hezbollah goes to war. Personal means exactly that. The people who actually are in charge. Not institutions, no letters of complaint. They themselves. There is no love lost between Lebanon and Israel, but this warning is something that the Lebanese government takes pretty seriously.

“Israel is depopulating Gaza, and drives them into the Sinai to die!” — another silly claim from our progressive media. They continue by insinuating Egypt is complicit. Wrong. Egypt HATES Hamas and wants nothing to do with Gaza. Nothing at all. Except using it for target practice, if that were possible. Before the Israeli withdrawal they offered control of it to Egypt — which Egypt refused.

Egypt knows very well that Hamas has roots in the Muslim brotherhood. The people who killed Anwar Sadat, and tried to take over Egypt repeatedly. Fortunately, in vain. All Egypt will do is sit down with orange juice and popcorn and watch the show. The very last thing they want is two million refugees let loose in the Sinai. They can’t feed them, and they don’t want to feed them.

Next on the list is Saudi Arabia. We don’t know what will happen, but will find out soon enough. The king is Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He supported Palestinians in the past, and wasn’t keen on Israel. However, the king doesn’t really rule anymore. The actual management is done by crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman (with an ‘a’, not an ‘o’), and he has very different ideas. The coming peace treaty with Israel comes from him. He’s also the chap who likes to dismember unruly journalists. Not a nice guy, certainly. He doesn’t particularly hate Palestinians as Egypt does, but for him it’s something that doesn’t bother him or his country. Not his problem.

The last items on the list are Jordan and Syria. Jordan is effectively controlled by Israel, in the same way Germany controls The Netherlands. Sure, we have our own passports and language, but foreign policy is made in Berlin. Likewise, Jordanian foreign policy comes from Jerusalem. Not only that, but Jordan hates Palestinians even more than Egypt, if that’s possible. A Palestinian refugee actually killed King Abdullah I, and they tried to take over the state in a coup. Apart from that, the Jordanian army isn’t what it used to be. A lot may happen, but Jordan supporting Hamas isn’t one of them.

Syria just emerged from a bloody civil war. Yes, they hate the Israelis as much as the Palestinians do. They really want the Golan Heights back. But they have no means of doing it. The Golan area is inhabited by Druze, who aren’t particularly keen on being in a war zone again. If anything the Druze are ferocious fighters.

So don’t get too exited about the war spreading to the entire Middle East. Those stories are what left wing loonies want you to believe, because it gives them a warm fuzzy feeling. Logic, however, doesn’t agree.

  1. I would bomb Gaza back to the stone age where no building is left standing and those that refuse to leave can meet the devil and 72 minions in hell. It is the only way you will never get another atrocity from the GD muslims ever again. Time to make Gaza the new resort area and gambling center. No more fakestinians = no more problems, it is that bloody simple.

    • I just read a news article yesterday that members of Hamas raped babies, the elderly and Mothers so violently that they broke their pelvic cages.

They also took a Holocaust survivor Grandmother hostage. They dismembered her and posted it on her cell phone so her family would witness what they did to her.

      • That is what we will all deal with in our western countries unless and until we get Crusades on steroids on. When fighting savages, one must far more savage so they forever fear you.

I think we must’ve been separated at birth.

  2. Is the Vegas line for which carrier will be sunk available yet or whether it will be Israel, friendly fire or the RF?

  3. For once something eminently sensible about prospects in the region , something that doesn’t say the horrible joos must be leashed and the barbarian hordes must be allowed to reclaim their hellish “patrimony.”

  4. Consider this: America’s southern borders are wide open. Venezuelans, and possibly their militiamen, as being escorted up the isthmus along with Nicaraguan and Honduran militiamen. Chinese military agents are also rumored to have been allowed free entry and have even been supplied with visas.
It would seem that Biden’s puppet masters are setting up a Hamas-style slaughter of Americans that would negate any active support of Israel in its defense against islamic insurgencies. Christians and Jews worship the same God, which is NOT the god that the elite powers-that-be worship. Of course the elite don’t worship allah, but use those who do in the same manner as a shepherd would use a dog to herd his flock of sheep.
My guess is that the elite’s agenda will ‘spring forth’ next year as soon as the winter is over. Stay tuned, film at 11:00pm

Many (most?) non-hyphenated American citizens are armed. Some heavily so. While I’d never propose to predict the outcome of an all-out war between the Americans and The (Democrat) Party’s latest pets (the Mohammedanists), I reckon it a safe bet that as long as non-hyphenated American citizens remain armed, a “Hamas-style slaughter of Americans” isn’t gonna happen.

Israel could probably do that too, using a submarine-launched missile.

And they should. In fact, it’s the #2 thing that they should do.
The #1 thing that they should do is to nuke Iran’s nuclear installations, and then deny having done it.

If they don’t, they’ll eventually get nuked themselves.
