Dr. Hans-Georg Maaßen is the former head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution in Germany — the state intelligence service. He is now the president of the Values Union (WerteUnion), a non-profit organization whose motto is “Freiheit statt Sozialismus” (“Freedom instead of Socialism”).
I’ve posted several times in the past about Dr. Maaßen (most recently here, earlier posts: #1, #2, #3, #4). He says commonsensical things about immigration and Islamization, which has made him the target of official scrutiny by his former agency. It looks like he has become an Enemy of the State.

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution is monitoring Hans-Georg Maaßen
The state is mobilizing against the opposition. Germany’s domestic secret service is rolling out heavy guns against the head of the Union of Values, Hans-Georg Maaßen. The justification for the office is downright silly. Maaßen himself speaks of an “attack on the free, democratic basic order”.
The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution lists its former president Hans-Georg Maaßen as a so-called “observation case”. This is stated in an official decision from the authority, which has now been officially sent to Maaßen’s lawyers and which Maaßen himself published [PDF].
This confirms information from TE from last week. The current head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Thomas Haldenwang (CDU), had already announced in a background conversation with journalists that his office had “parts of the Union of Values and the fraternities” spied on.
Haldenwang said at the meeting: First you look at Twitter, then you create a file — and then you carry on.
Formally, the domestic secret service has now at least created the conditions for using intelligence resources against its former boss. With the approval of the so-called “G10 Commission” of the Bundestag, Maaßen’s correspondence could then even be monitored and his telephone tapped.
The background is the enormously expanded options that the Office for the Protection of the Constitution has been given against so-called “delegitimizers of the state”. Practically anyone who criticizes state institutions or people in state office may now be considered (and prosecuted) as such.
The first three reasons given by the office itself for classifying Maaßen as an observation case show how arbitrarily the Office for the Protection of the Constitution acts in this regard:
1. The right-wing extremist Bernhard Schaub described Maaßen as a “staunch Republican” in a letter to a friend. 2. So-called Reich citizens shared videos of Maaßen on their Facebook pages. 3. In a TV broadcast, Maaßen described the actions of the security authorities against the “Rollator Coup” by alleged Reich citizens as “disproportionate”.
That’s no joke. That’s really what it says.
In Germany in 2024, calling state measures “disproportionate” is already considered a “delegitimization of the state”. And if someone quotes you somewhere, you can quickly become a surveillance case for the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. [Sounds like the methods of the old Stasi/Gestapo before they come knocking your front-door down with a sledgehammer and invite you for a “friendly” chat. I guess anyone with a brain knows on which bench the real Nazis sit, don’t we?]
“The allegations are insubstantial and unjustified,” says Maaßen, as usual soberly, to TE. The former top official sees the process as an abuse of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution to combat political opponents:
“This is an attack on the free democratic basic order by the Federal Minister of the Interior, Ms. Faeser.” [Maybe she’s a scion of Wilhelm Frick, former Minister of the Interior from 1933-1943? Would explain a lot, now, wouldn’t it?]

I read the 20 pages [PDF] carefully, and do wonder what makes Mr. Maaßen seem suspicious. No, actually I’m not wondering, I’m actually stunned. Is that supposed to be suspicious? His comments correspond to what used to be called “common sense”. Some of it is downright ridiculous. Someone forwarded a tweet, who then sent it back to a well-known right-wing extremist… What the heck?
Maybe he also greeted a neighbor whose cousin is in the AfD? What they are doing here is a new version of the Nazis’ “Sippenhaft” law, guilty by association and subsequent collective punishment. I don’t know about you, but to me this doesn’t sound very democratic at all. But what do I know? There must be a new woke definition that I haven’t read yet in the Wiki-propaganda.

It seems to me that the Committee of 300 are still using these techniques, the virus scares, particularly the last one in 2020 until now.
I believe they are now going to use the same techniques to introduce conscription in Western countries and then start a large-scale war. And just as in the last two world wars, millions of white, Christian men and women will be obliterated.
I will bet a cool grand that ole Maaben has friends in the service giving him a heads up to what the government is doing.

She was disemboweled, then her empty skin was filled with globalist propaganda and she got exhibited in the Open-Air Museum of Democracy (mistakenly called ‘The West’ by the ignorant), to stand there naked like a stuffed animal… And now she’s serving as the largest Potemkin Village (political pseudo reality) of all times, called “Our Democracy” (ever heard that phrase, anyone?…).

So when Mr. Maaßen talks about an attack on that PSEUDO-democracy, he becomes part of the problem (siding with the enemy — of humanity, really) by implicitly acknowledging the existence, and thus the legitimacy, of the New Order.
Because again, Democracy is long dead — and you can’t kill her twice, meaning that there is nothing to “attack” there any more (but They can abuse and humilate her corpse, of course, and They enjoy doing that). So to pretend that Our Good Old Order still exists (if it ever existed, but that would be the subject of another essay) IS an attack, not on “democracy”, but on the populace itself because it leaves them in their false belief that the Matrix is REAL.

Most people wouldn’t even fathom it if you talked about that — I dare say after the Rona psyop. [But then again, as an aside (?), the Matrix (movie) must have been just another psyop tool. The hall of mirrors of psyops is endless.]
All this means Mr. Maaßen himself isn’t dangerous to his (our) New Overlords any more because he already knows his place. What exactly is happening then, is anyone’s guess. But I tend to agree with the translator that most probably “they need be deterred” — by making an example of Maaßen … Maybe with his own consent… I know that that may sound far-fetched but this is the place where this chain of logic leads.
If he wasn’t conforming to (even cooperating with?) the New Order in some way or another, he would already be dead at this point IMO.
I’m not trying to suggest that he’s a traitor of his fellow citizens. He seemed to be genuine in his efforts to expose the new-old Stasi some years ago, but then he was neutralized by them by promoting him into a castrated position WITHIN ‘the organization’. So what need would there be now for leaking out this “obervation case” of a neutralized enemy who would be spied on anyway? — (How on Earth could he have quit the Services? (“Your service never really ends after you leave”…) As far as I know, former agents and the like are normally spied on anyway, till they die, — all the more the high-profile ones).
All in all, there might be more to this story than meets the eye…
