“The reports that community police officers and Carabinieri officers were also said to have been verbally and physically attacked demonstrates once again the lack of any inhibition on the part of the attackers and illustrates their disrespect and contempt for our security organs, and ultimately our society,” said Stauder.

“These shocking events require a decisive and tough response from the constitutional state, which must finally gain the necessary respect, which these rulers obviously completely lack. There is therefore no question that the perpetrators will without exception be held accountable and punished and must pay for the damage caused. This also includes sanctions on social benefits, and rapid deportations,” said Stauder.
