Below are excerpts from a brief press conference held by Deputy Italian Prime Minister Matteo Salvini. The context of the presser is that it followed a recent demonstration against Israel in Pisa (involving, one presumes, large numbers of Muslim culture-enrichers). The crowd wanted to gain access to the square adjacent to the synagogue of Pisa, but was prevented from doing so by police. In the clash that followed, the cops had to use their batons against the demonstrators.
In answering the reporters’ questions, Mr. Salvini made it clear that he supported the police.
