EU censorship law: “Hate speech” on a par with terrorism and human trafficking

Through a resolution by the EU Parliament, laws against “hate speech” are to be introduced in all EU countries. But the ostensible “fight against hate” aims to censor and suppress the political opposition and its supporters. At this year’s WEF meeting in Davos, resolutions were also passed to massively expand censorship. On January 18, the EU Parliament passed a new law that makes so-called “hate speech” a crime throughout the EU.

The vote was clear in the left-center dominated parliament: 397 yes votes, 121 no votes and 26 abstentions.

“Hate speech” is equated with terrorism

The decision puts so-called “hate speech” on the EU crime list. This allows the European Commission to introduce binding legislation and penalties for all member states. The list actually only includes crimes that have a “cross-border interest” in combating them, such as terrorism, human trafficking or cartel crime. This puts people who post politically unpleasant content on the Internet on the same level as terrorists and drug cartel gangsters. The EU has already threatened social media platforms with sanctions and regulations. It is said that hate speech is “a danger to society as a whole because it undermines the foundations of the EU”. The definition of alleged hate crimes is up in the air and can be interpreted in any way. Basically, anything that a person perceives as offensive or hurtful may be interpreted as hate speech and can therefore soon be charged. There are no clear definitions or control bodies. Will gender criticism soon lead to a stretch in prison?

According to the current definition, “criminal discrimination” refers to the alleged denigration of origin, ethnicity or religion. However, left-liberal law makers want to massively expand this definition because, in their eyes, it is no longer up-to-date. In the future, any alleged discrimination against sexuality, sex and gender characteristics, trans identities as well as age and disability would also constitute a criminal offense. It is impossible to predict who will be targeted by the muzzle paragraph. This may affect people who criticize the adoption rights for homosexuals as well as critics of drag queen reading lessons in kindergartens.

The real calculation of the left-liberal EU Parliament is to prosecute thought crimes on the Internet. Police hunt the posters of hate instead of real criminals

The EU initiative is primarily aimed at introducing and expanding its censorship measures in Eastern European countries. In German-speaking countries, these dystopian conditions, which might have come from the pen of George Orwell, are already a bitter reality. In the Federal Republic alone there have already been nine nationwide (!) “days of action against hate-posting.” Last June there were 130 police operations due to online satire and government criticism. An “insult” against Annalena Baerbock triggered a police operation on a journalist. The warning about rapists from Afghanistan earned the AfD politician Marie-Therese Kaiser a conviction for sedition. While politicians tie up police resources, real criminals and violent criminals have a free hand.

WEF also wants to expand censorship

With this initiative, the EU Parliament is pursuing the same interests as the notorious World Economic Forum in Davos. At this year’s meeting, the global fight against “disinformation” was appropriately made a top priority — fittingly presented by EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The definition is made arbitrarily and according to one’s own interests. The alleged fight against “disinformation” is directed exclusively against people, opinions and media that are not part of the globalist cartel.
