Salafist Termites Infest the Socialist Party in Hesse

The following story is a refreshing change: a culture-enriching “German” politician for the Socialist Party has failed in his attempted lawfare against a news outlet that uncovered and published the truth of his connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Apollo News. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Apollo News wins in court against Faeser confidant — connections to the Salafist scene proven

An Apollo News investigation showed SPD [Socialist Party] politician Lamjahdi’s connections to the Salafist scene and the Muslim Brotherhood. Lamjahdi sued and brought out the heavy legal guns. But the Frankfurt regional court confirms the Apollo News research — the Salafist connections have now been upheld in court.

“Faeser is campaigning with Islamists” — this was the title under which Apollo News published a report on September 19th about the SPD politician Mustapha Lamjahdi, who had recently published a photo of himself and the Federal Interior Minister on her election campaign tour in Hesse on Facebook. Lamjahdi is chairman of SPD Heddernheim and is considered influential in Faeser’s Hesse SPD and an ally of the Interior Minister. Lamjahdi himself likes to appear as a “liberal Muslim”. However, our research showed that Lamjahdi has “connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafist scene.” Shortly afterwards, the politician not only deleted all photos and posts from his Facebook page — he also sent us a warning via his lawyer.

About a month after publication, Lamjahdi filed a lawsuit with the Frankfurt am Main regional court. He wanted to force Apollo News to delete reporting on his connections and to remain silent in the future under threat of a fine of up to €250,000. Apollo News was also to be silenced about Lamjahdi having his photo taken with one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s leading ideologues, Ali al-Qaradaghi, and posting it himself on Facebook.

Not with us. Apollo News media attorney Walther Wegner replied with one 8-page legal letter [PDF], in which every point of our research was proven in detail and legally supported. The Frankfurt Regional Court confirmed the argument — the decision speaks a clear language. It was found that the statement that Mr. Lamjahdi had “connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafist scene” was “a true statement of fact or an expression of opinion derived from a true basis of fact.”

Lamjahdi filed a complaint against this, but the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court rejected the complaint and the regional court’s decision now became final.

“Faeser is running the Hesse election campaign with Islamists”

We had previously shown — and in our article — that Lamjahdi, as a member of the board of the TUN e. V. ( Toleranz und Nähe eV /Tolerance and Closeness [registered association]) obtained membership in the German-Islamic Association of Associations (“DIV”) and was chairman and liquidator of the same. At that time, the DIV was already under observation by the Hessian Office for the Protection of the Constitution. The Hessian Ministry of the Interior confirmed at the time that of the 46 DIV member associations, “around a third could be assessed as extremist or extremist-influenced”. The association was dissolved in 2019 due to its membership structure, which was criticized by the authorities and the media as extremist.

The court stated: “In view of these true circumstances, the challenged statement is essentially correct, even if the applicant has denied further connections.” The Frankfurt Regional Court also did not criticize the headline “Faeser is running Hesse’s election campaign with Islamists”. According to the court, the statement should be “viewed in the context of the report” so that Lamjahdi “is assessed as an ‘Islamist’ based on the applicant’s points of contact with the scene as shown in the text.” And with regard to the reporting on the photo with Ali al-Qaradaghi, the court suggested that Lamjahdi withdraw the application, which he then did.

A minor aspect of the process is still open — one thing is certain: in the future, we will continue to enforce with utmost determination and full entrepreneurial risk what is the most important right and first duty of every journalist: that things are called by their name without compromise. If Nancy Faeser surrounds herself with Islamists, we will report on it. Even intimidation lawsuits will not prevent us from exercising this right. Because journalism remains only that which others do not want to be published. Everything else is PR.

Afterword from the translator:

It is good to know that there are still real journalists out there who do not kowtow to the wishes of the PTB and Islam. Also, it’s quite refreshing to see that there are still judges out there that practice law and not sharia in Germany. Must be a rare and dying species in the judiciary by now.

Now one can only hope for Apollo News that the followers of that rabid Desert Lunatic are not going to “Hebdo-ize” them.
