Video transcript:

00:00   They immediately understood that something was wrong with him, that he was too aggressive.
00:05   The police officers who were doing a routine check at the Cadorna station
00:09   of the Milan subway realized that a 37-year-old Algerian man had something to hide,
00:14   after they asked him to show his documents.
00:17   But they could never imagine that they would be faced with a person wanted for terrorism.
00:20   The Algerian began to scream “Allahu Akhbar” repeatedly, putting his hands in his backpack,
00:26   as if looking for something. That something was a 12-cm. blade.
00:31   Arrested in the last few days by the police of Milan, he was the subject
00:34   of an international arrest warrant for participation in a terrorist association.
00:38   The 37-year-old was a fugitive from the Algerian authorities because, apparently,
00:42   since 2015 he has belonged to the Islamic State’s militias and has been deployed
00:47   on the Syrian-Iraqi front. A very dangerous subject, close to ISIS.
00:51   Now the Algerian man has been taken to the San Vittore prison in Milan
00:55   in view of the imminent transfer to his homeland. The Minister of Justice has already endorsed
00:59   the extradition procedure.
