The Evangelical Church of Germany Calls For More Cultural Enrichment

Years ago El Inglés coined the term “deranged altruism” in one of his essays. I can now state with certainty that the esteemed head of the Council of the Evangelical Church of Germany, one Annette Kurschus, serves as the living embodiment of this concept.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Apollo News. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

EKD council chairwoman on migration: Admission limit “still far from reached”

The chairwoman of the council of the Evangelical Church of Germany is of the opinion that Germany should take in significantly more refugees than before. According to the pastor, the capacity limit is “far from being reached”.

Germany should accept significantly more migrants than before. This is the opinion of Annette Kurschus, Chairwoman of the Council of the Evangelical Church of Germany. In an interview with the FAZ , she explains that the limit of the absorption capacity is “far from being reached”. “From the perspective of charity,” this is only the case when “self-sacrifice” occurs. [And here I thought that SUICIDE was a mortal sin.] According to Kurschus, municipalities that complain about excessive demands should be listened to. However, she replies: “I don’t hear this complaint from the many volunteers in our churches who are involved in working with refugees.”

“Basically,” said the pastor, Germany, as a “rich country” [says the parasite that lives of the back of the German taxpayer] must be able to “accommodate even more people who are fleeing war and various hardships in their homeland.” This distress is due, among other things, to climate change. Kurschus: “The consequences of the climate catastrophe are also forcing more and more people to leave their homes.” She is therefore of the opinion that “significantly more legal access routes to Europe” are needed.

“Human destinies cannot be fixed to a maximum number”

When asked about the support of sea rescuers by the Protestant Church, the council chairwoman explained that she continued to stand by the decision to be able to save “at least some” through this help. Kurschus considers calls for an upper limit to be a “populist smokescreen” because: “From a Christian perspective, human destinies cannot be fixed at a maximum number.”

Kurschus had already spoken out several times in the past against limiting migration flows to Germany. Only in August did she criticize the rejection of refugees at the EU’s external borders. “We oppose any kind of isolation and deterrence policy,” said the pastor in Dortmund. What happens at the EU’s external borders, for example with the rejection of those seeking protection, “has little to do with human dignity in many places,” said Kurschus.

Afterword from the translator:

Someone is aiming for “sainthood” by the looks of it, and one can only hope that one of those migrants, who comes from a hostile culture and is hostile towards the host culture and its people, will grant her her wish and the martyrdom she so obviously and desperately craves. Although who gave this woman the right to sacrifice the people and culture she grew up in?

Statements like this show once again how much the church is abolishing itself in Germany. Millions of people have left the church in recent years because many can no longer do anything with it. But that doesn’t matter. They continue to receive hundreds of millions from taxpayers. I haven’t noticed yet that the churches take special care of refugees, either. At most, breaking the law to hide asylum seekers, who had been rejected several times already, in church asylum from deportation.

Since I’m not a “Christian” I had to look this Bible verse up. 1 Timothy chapter 5 verse 8:

“But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.”

  1. Love thy enemy…not thy neighbour apparently. Just politicians in church. Closing quote is very apt

  2. The figure for US Federal funds transferred to the Lutheran and Catholic churches in the USA for immi-vader purposes is known, I think I even read it here at GoV.

So what are the corresponding numbers for those churches in Germany and how does that translate into numbers of Federal-funded full-time equivalent, FTE, jobs in the Migrant Industry; size of church budgets in 2023 compared to say 1983, adjusted for inflation; number of conferences to be attended and speeches given, of course with travel expenses and per diem allowance; percentage growth in staffing levels over time, this enhancing the self-esteem of Church managers as they conduct turf wars.

  3. From the river to the sea, all the world will be Juden Frei!
YIKES, mohammyman “dirt age” religion is very bad.
in 1683, the mohammymans told the Christian leader Leopold 1, to wait in Vienna so the muzzys can conquer and kill them all.
Then the Christian Hussars rode in and exterminated the mohammymans.
    They are evil beyond description.
