Cologne: The City of Muezzins

Long-time readers will remember the reporting we did in early 2016 on the culture-enriching Gropin’ and Rapin’ Festival that was held in the square outside the Cologne Cathedral on New Year’s Eve.

The following video reports on a visit to Cologne by an Italian journalist eight years later. The city is even less Christian and more Islamized than it was in 2015, and young women are even less safe.

Many thanks to HeHa for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling:

Video transcript:

00:07   We are in Cologne. This has always been the city of Catholics,
00:12   the city where the relic of the Magi is preserved.
00:19   Today, however, it is the city of muezzins. Every day at noon, in fact,
00:24   their voices resound in the streets around the mosque, the largest mosque in Germany.
00:33   A third of all German Muslims live here; there are 35 mosques.
00:42   We went to the main one, the central one, but here
00:46   the cameras are not appreciated, and we hear why.
00:50   You need a special permit.
00:54   This plot belongs to Ditib, the Islamic community,
00:59   which translated means Turkish-Islamic Union.
01:03   This is the Ditib logo, very visible on the facade of the mosque.
01:06   It’s the Turkish-Islamic association directly linked to the religious authority of Ankara, which
01:11   has spent a lot of money here. —How much did the construction of this building cost, in total?
01:18   The official number is more than €30 million.
01:24   In Germany, all the teachers of the Quranic schools and the imams are selected
01:29   and sent by this Islamic association.
01:32   Our imams and religious teachers come from Turkey, mostly,
01:40   from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
01:43   In Cologne, Muslims make up 12% of the city’s population.
01:47   In some neighborhoods they surpass 50%.
01:52   We move to Mülheim. There are halal supermarkets, bazaars, clothing stores,
02:00   medical practices and even a shop of tents, all of them with Turkish-Islamic brands.
02:09   The numbers of the expansion speak clearly: in 2050 the Muslim population
02:16   will be almost the 20% of all Germany. Christians are fewer and fewer.
02:19   Here in Cologne, the archdiocese, the largest in the country,
02:23   has announced that the parishes will decrease from 500 to 50.
02:28   An expansion which takes place in this way too:
02:31   “We must bring Islam to the streets, to the people, to the houses, everywhere.
02:38   This will finally make people get it through their head!
02:41   Dear brothers and sisters, be the soldiers of Allah in this country!”
02:46   He is Pierre Vogel, a former boxer who converted to Islam. He is an active preacher in Cologne,
02:52   already in the cross-hairs of German secret services.
02:56   Yet on his social media he continues his work as preacher.
02:59   They basically spread this message that says that the German society
03:04   is immoral, corrupt, evil and hostile to Islam.
03:07   “We as Muslims must live separately and destroy German society in the long run.”
03:13   The man you see in this photo with Vogel is Sven Lau, also a convert to Islam.
03:19   In Wuppertal, a city a few minutes away from Cologne,
03:23   he had become, together with six more Islamic radicals, a sheriff of Islamic fundamentalism.
03:27   Here in Wuppertal, the shariah police were active, patrolling these streets.
03:32   Here they are, in an orange vest with “Sharia Police” written on it,
03:37   the moral police of Islamic fundamentalism in the heart of Europe.
03:41   Their job is to go around punishing those who do not wear the veil,
03:44   those who violate the Quranic law, just as if we were in Iran.
03:48   Dear brothers and sisters, be the soldiers of Allah in this country!
03:54   The intention is always the same as the one Vogel declared: to Islamize Germany.
03:58   Lau, the head of the moral police, was arrested. Here are the images
04:02   while he is being taken to prison.
04:07   But many other extremists continue, unhindered, to practice their preaching.
04:13   In the general silence, violence and fear also grow.
04:19   This is the Cologne Cathedral. We are short distance away from the square
04:24   where during 2015 New Year’s Eve the cases of sexual assault took place.
04:28   Right here, in this square, eight years ago, on New Year’s Eve, there was a mass rape.
04:34   Ninety girls were sexually assaulted by hundreds of young men of Arab origin.
04:42   And since then, in the former city-symbol of Catholics,
04:45   the fear of Muslims has been on the rise.

  1. This German nation are to stupid to understand, what is happening around them , they are living in the coma , and I’m afraid they neverr will wake up !.

  2. Christians are fewer and fewer, but what about atheists and the like? They have more power than Christians do these days. Does this not bother them? Richard Dawkins recently came out saying he prefers Christian cultures to Muslim ones, but he is the only one saying that, as far as I know.

  3. the 2nd amendment may save america, those countries that disarmed their citizens sold them out…good luck germany…..see if you can send somebody to afghanistan to get some of the stuff joe left behind

  4. This is a product of the removal of the teaching of history in schools. The current young generations are not aware of the perils that occurs when cultures mix. Certain cultures will never assimilate and will seek to dominate and eliminate those who oppose it.
Unfortunately those people who seek the mixing of cultures may have never played chess, and do not see what this movement will bring to the world they envisage. The ultimate aim of these simpletons is to destroy Christianity and their means is the migration of countless individuals who do not share the cultural values of the “West”.
