Attendance at the Struggle Session is Mandatory

I posted yesterday about the proposed intensification of state propaganda directed at very young children in Germany, in order to deter them from becoming AfD supporters. The article below concerns a similar push at the university level, with the aim of enforcing Gleichschaltung through the mandatory mass chanting of Antifa slogans.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

University of Kassel Students required to shout Antifa slogans during lecture

A university professor asks 200 students to chant an infamous far-left message during a politics lecture. They join in loudly.

Kassel

During a lecture on politics at Kassel University, the lecturer Oliver Pye had an Antifa slogan chanted three times in a row. He asked the approximately 200 students to join him in shouting “Alerta, alerta, antifascista!” Each time the shout through the lecture hall became louder, as a video shows, according to a media report.

According to a student quoted by the Frankfurter Rundschau, Pye said afterwards that Nazis and anyone on the right had to leave the room. There was loud applause for this. The incident occurred a week ago, but has only now become public knowledge.

“Violent Antifa glorified”

The Ring of Christian Democratic Students (RCDS) accused Pye in a press release of “potentially violating the principles of academic neutrality and freedom.” He classifies a conservative opinion as right-wing. In addition, the “violent Antifa was glorified.” The RCDS has now involved the university’s legal supervision.

Pye has taken on a substitute professorship at the University of Kassel. To the Hessisch-Niedersächsische Allgemeine, he justified shouting the slogan with the “resurrection of fascism in Europe.” [And this hypocrite is actively helping to establish it.]

The university administration criticized Pye’s behavior. When asked, a spokesman said that repeating slogans was problematic: “The President made this clear in a personal conversation.” There are no further consequences. [Not surprised at all.]

Afterword from the translator:

I seriously doubt that this “professor” had a social experiment in mind like that teacher, decades ago, in the US. They even made a movie out of it called “The Wave”, if I’m not mistaken.

Anyway, this shows all over again that colleges and universities now have the intellectual level of a district party school of the SED — mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology may still be exceptions — for now.

  1. I have a copy of The Wave and can confirm it is a disturbing film, moreso because it is based on actuality.
The left will eventually destroy itself, but not before it has caused much pain, misery and destruction to essentially normal people. For now, they appear to think they are immune
and a protected species, who are destined to rule the world. As did the communists in Soviet Union and the Fascists in 1930s Germany.
Unfortunately, I think we have a few more decades before enough people wake up and get rid of these destroyers.

The Wave?? Never heard of it. Can you provide details (e.g., synopsis, date of release, actors, etc.)?

        • Thanks, all, for the links.

In the interim, I also found the 2008 German film, “Die Welle”, which appears to run along the same lines as the movie links above.

I reckon it goes without saying that these outta be required viewing for every public school student throughout the EU/US; and it probably would be were it not for the fact that those who’ve been in control of academia since (at least) the mid-80s’re products of the worst of these classroom experiments in blind obedience to authoritarian cults (e.g., commie-toddlerism).

          Ammo-up, comrades!

  2. “The Wave” 1981 TV Movie, the “Triumph of the Will” 1935 Leni Riefenstahl film should be educational films that show just how easy it is to sucker people into a genocidal death cult like the EU, WEF, UN, . . . etc. Another is “Don’t be a Sucker” 1943 film. Unfortunately these are used as guides instead warnings. The human condition will never be fixed by the next geniuses in academia. But it will be tested over, and over, and over again. By the way, here we go again.

  3. The “brown shirts” of Antifa and kefiyahs of Palestinian supporters on universities are on the same page to bring down the West and take away all our freedoms.
The young and stupid will not love their impoverished, dangerous world when it turns on them.
