As you all know by now, Geert Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV) won a major victory last Wednesday in the general election in the Netherlands. The following video shows a brief victory speech given by Mr. Wilders to his supporters on the evening after the election.

| 01:59 | And we will do that, [unintelligible] we will make sure that the hope of those people is realized. | |

| 02:14 | Until now we had a campaign. Now the campaign is over and the voters have spoken. | |
| 02:22 | And now we will have to look for agreements with each other. | |
| 02:27 | We will have to work together with each other. | |
| 02:30 | And the PVV wants to work together with other parties from a splendid position with 35 seats | |
| 02:36 | Where it can’t be denied to any party, which party can work with other parties. | |
| 02:43 | And that means that every party, including ours, will have to jump over its own shadow. | |
| 02:49 | That we will have to come up with solutions, indeed, within the framework | |
| 02:54 | of the law and constitution, that will make sure that the hope of the Dutch people | |
| 03:00 | who chose the agenda of hope today, that the Dutch people will be back on their feet. | |
| 03:13 | And I don’t know if all of that will work, but I won’t lie. | |
| 03:17 | Because we want to participate, and we want to govern. | |
