Report From Sderot: Day 18

MC sends this update as a ground invasion of Gaza looms.

Report From Sderot: Day 18

by MC

It is time we started once more to look at life and death as Yah sees it, not as a ‘snowflake’ sees it.

In 1915, the first Kitchener Divisions were flung into the maelstrom of the battle of Loos. On the first and second days the BEF had almost broken through, but they ran out of men.

The 21st and 24th divisions had just arrived in France. They were the spearhead of the volunteers of August and September of 1914; they were trained but unblooded. They were also thirty miles behind the lines because General French did not want them in the battle. But Haig was desperate, and forced them to march, overnight, without food or water, to advance over the ‘Field of Corpses’ In their lines they walked/marched towards the German machine guns, and died, well, most of them.

Haig went on the defensive and managed to saddle French with the butchery bill. Loos set the pattern for the rest of the war, and also the debacle of 1st July 1916 at the Somme. Particularly where the “Sheffield Pals” marched towards the almost undamaged wire and machine guns at Serre.

The WW1 ‘Tommy’ was not particularly religious, but on the whole believed in life after death and going to a better place. His main fear at places like Loos was letting his pals down (through cowardice, etc.). On the whole he placed his trust in his God and advanced towards the enemy trenches. He did his duty.

Israelis are very similar, and on the whole, put their trust and reliance on God and their rifles. They will, if asked, advance over the open ground in the face of sustained enemy fire.

The IDF advancing on Gaza will have much the same problem as at Hulloch and Serre. The British in 1917 were repulsed twice in front of Gaza. Eventually Allenby, taking over from Chetwode, decided to attack Beer’sheva instead of Gaza and encircle Gaza by marching along the Wadi Shikma, a tourist route that still exists today.

Nahal Shikma where the Wadi Shikma track crosses the Nahal (stream). In the wet season this can become a raging torrent in just a few minutes, 5 feet deep and lethal.

The invading IDF troops must advance over 2km of flat ground with little to no cover. They will have tanks and APCs of various sorts, but Hamas have antitank missiles…

Then there are the tunnels. These are extensive, and also where the hostages are probably held. Fighting in tunnels is incredibly difficult, and winkling out Hamas without risking the lives of hostages is an impossible task.

I do not look forward to the huge losses of our young men. Is it worth loosing two to three thousand more?

I note that the world’s ‘unmitigated’ support is transforming into a sort of dictatorial paternalism intended to give Hamas all the advantages. Only Israel is subject to this unwanted hypocrisy. Nobody tells the Ukrainians how to fight their war, and nobody is harping on about harming innocent Russian civilians. To make partial war is to also lose the war before the first shot is fired, and the Biden White House is very free with its political manacles holding back Israel. Hamas has recruited US academia as its fifth column in the US, as well as the ten congressional representatives who voted against Israel. Ten representatives who see nothing wrong with beheading infidel babies.

The USA invented the ‘politicised’ war, and has lost every war since doing so. Militarily they won the Vietnam war but caved to the superior propaganda coming out of Hanoi.

In the German occupied areas of 1940s Europe we read of Jewish babies being thrown up in the air to see how many pistol bullets could be put into them before they landed. Alternatively we read of bored Ordnungspolizei catching the babies on their bayonets. These were men of above combat age recruited from ordinary German towns and cities, then brainwashed into believing they were progressive ‘New Men’. Nazism, such as Hamas and its supporters practise, is a semi-religious cult of brutality, much like Thuggees or Berserkers. It is not difficult to programme the humanity out of a man and make of him into an animal.

I can hear the war going on about 2km down the road from where I am writing. I want it to end, but I also want the Hamas menace removed. All the time understanding that Hamas represents this particular iteration of Gaza, and that if Gaza remains, then another Hamas clone will rise up and assume the mantle of the prophet and his cruel religion.

To all those animals who support Hamas in universities and media across the world (including Israel), I can only hope that when you come before your Maker, you understand the following verse:

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. — Mark 9:42

  1. MC: You are right about Biden’s “political manacles.” Biden cannot allow Israel to achieve achieve a clear military victory. A clear military victory for Israel would drive a stake through the heart of Biden’s middle east policy, which is to maintain a permanent state of conflict.

  2. The internet is abuzz with rumors that it was the Mossad that created Hamas — to split the opposition to Israel, to have them fight each other. It worked, for a time. Then Hamas absorbed the other group. How do you view this speculation, MC? Could it be true?

May luck continue to be on your side.

    • This speculation has happened every time the conflict with Hamas gets hot, It is a conspiracy theory which may, or may ot have some truth to it, we don’t know, but it is a copy of the ISIS/CIA conspiracy theory.

Mostly it is irrelevant, ad is an a ‘Dreyfus’ ploy to try and demean Israel and the Jews, much like the kind of thing Goebbels would put out, a sort of propaganda ‘sticky bomb’.

    • The internet is abuzz with all kinds of lies from evil people.

Hamas came out of The Muslim Brotherhood.

The Arab Muslims in Gaza voted them in and have continued to do so.

Are you suggesting that the Mossad secretly gets the Muslims of Gaza to vote for Hamas or do you think it is more likely that Muslims are perfectly capable to vote in Islamic parties of various types?

Occam’s razor applies here as it does elsewhere.

  3. “Hamas represents this particular iteration of Gaza, and that if Gaza remains, then another Hamas clone will rise up and assume the mantle of the prophet and his cruel religion.”

If they’re THOROUGHLY defeated, i.e., to the point that everyone in Gaza is afraid to tell their friends that they ever voted for them, it MIGHT be possible to end Islamism in that jurisdiction.

Shintoism as a political religion ended in Japan. Granted, it took two nuclear bombs, but it *can* be done. It just takes extreme means.

In the case of Gaza, the approach that I would take would be to let back in the north part only people that are willing to PUBLICLY state that they want to have nothing to do with Hamas and other Islamists. I expect about 20% to be interested in the “deal”. It would also come with an absolute promise that all efforts will be made to protect them from Islamists.

Then have North Gaza live under fairly nice conditions: encourage factories to set up and provide work (with reliable Israeli electricity and water supply, it has some potential in that direction), and be absolutely VICIOUS on anyone doing anything terroristic-related. There could also be a bit of a tourist industry, including women in bikinis on the beach. Nobody would be *forced* to weak a bikini, but assaulting those who do would lead to expulsion to South Gaza.

Keep up the current treatment as long as needed in South Gaza. Make it *really* unpleasant.

Eventually, some additional people will wake up from the cult and want to move to the North part.

    I hope.

    • Not a bloody chance of your idea ever working, the bloody muslim is a muslim period, end of story, want to stop this jihadist movement, wipe out Gaza of every bloody muslim and call it a day, then build resorts and casinos and make it the Jewel of the Med.

  4. Tell your military folks on how to deal with tunnels, light tires on fire and toss them in, the orcs will come out, one way or another. The fight ends when your GD enemy surrenders, until then, get used to it. If they refuse to surrender, killem all and let the devil sortem out, for the devil will know his own.

  5. I don’t deny Israel’s right for self defence, but I get the feeling that in this case, the only way Israel could have stayed the undeniable “good guy” was to “turn the other cheek” – as one King of the Jews once said…

I still may be wrong on this one, but what I see unfoulding really is – the Road to Armageddon.

Israelis are what – 15 million?

Google says Muslims number 2 Billion…

Israel can exist only through the support from the west, IMHO

But the west really is crumbling, young generations are more confused than ever, industrial capacities have been destroyed in the name of Gay(a), and all the West and Israel have left is super-advanced weaponry…

But for 30+ years, the world is well aware of the western superiority in weaponry, and Russia, China, and Iran have spend unspeakable ammounts of money to develop unstoppable hypersonic missiles – which they now do have.

So – with the west crumbling, the Muslim world being heated up against Israel, Russia supporting Syria and Iran, China – being China…

…all I see is Israel getting into a war which they cannot win.

That is why I think – Israel should have turned the other cheek… this time.

Because the rhetoric I hear from Israel these days – how they go into Gaza kill “savages” and “animals”…

Tell that to the thousands of children that have already been reportedly killed in Gaza.

The “children” that will survive the upcoming Israeli attacks will grow all the more determined to fight Israel.

But I think that all this is quite according to the biblical prophecy for the last days, so I guess we go according to the plan: “The Whole World will get mobilised against Israel at one point, leading to the Samson “doctrine” being employed, shooting nuclear warheads here and there… Causing time of trouble such as there never was nor shall ever be again.

That’s where I see all this going.

But I don’t think that I am a prophet, I may be wrong, but I am just voicing my opinion.

    • In the end times, Yah intervenes, but in the mean time, all it takes for evil to abound is for good men to do nothing. The Christians in the USA are being trounced because they believe they are to be raptured out.

There is scant scripture to support a ‘rapture’ and gambling your life on a Tim LaHaye interpretation of the rapture is dangerous.

Based upon Hal Lindsay’s interpretation of eschatology, the ‘moral majority’ is silent. Rather than the Christian theology of turn the other cheek which does not apply in he context of defending Yah’s land,, I look to King Davids defense of Israel with a sling and a few stones.

Israel belongs to Yah, and He will defend it, The child David did the impossible, that is the way Yah works.

True Christians across the world should be flocking to offer support to Israel as it fights to defend God’s landn instead, they leave it to the jooz to do the impossible.

There is a reason why Satan kills Jews, think about it. Is Christian inertia any threat to the powers and principalities of the earth and of darkness…

Do Christians prefer Rome to Jerusalem?

      • …but I was not talking about “rapture”, and I don’t understand why you bring that up.

My comment was more along the lines of Ezekiel 36:32

“Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.”

King David was God’s servant. Are you sure Netanyahu and all the Israelis that live in “Israel” today are also “God’s servants”?

Do all in Israel keep the Sabbath? Are all Israelis worthy of God’s protection?

These are not rhetorical questions. These are Yes or No questions.

My king, Jesus Christ, commanded us to “love our enemies”. But frankly, there is no love for the Palestinians in the modern Israeli eyes as far as I can see… the comments below being the proof of that.

And – my reasoning is not even religious, but practical: Do you think that by stoking the fire of War, by destroying whole buildings with women and children in it, do you think that you will achieve “victory” over the enemies of Israel?

I personally believe the opposite will happen: I may be wrong, but what I see is provoking 2 billion Muslims into “righteous hatred” against Israel. And that is basically my point.

Don’t be so sure in the LORD’s support, o House of Israel, for the LORD on many occasions has had withdrawn his protection, when ye walked off from the LORD’s way, and your own calamity had been of your own making. The LORD even gave the Land of Israel to the King of Babylon, more than once in the history of the World, for the king of Babylon is the king of this World, and once ye were divorced from the LORD, ye naturally fall under the king of Babylon. Just like the rest of us.

PS: Christians seek to enter the “New Jerusalem”. Not the old one.

    • “Tell that to the thousands of children that have already been reportedly killed in Gaza.”

      Cry me a river.

      • poor children……hahahahahaha

Those children were each given stuffed animals and a knife to ‘stab the Jews” by their parents.

They were just future Jew hating terrorists.

    • Barn, No more muslims = no more problems, end of the islamist problem. Get it yet? Turn the other cheek only works with a disagreement, not full on terrorist attacks that slaughter your children. Ole Jesus once said during attacks to sell your cloak and buy a sword and get busy.

  6. US forces were able to reduce the Islamist bastion of Fallujah with very low losses on our side. The Israelis have a more difficult task but it can be done with patience and recourse to specialized weapons such as “foam bombs”, and in a way that avoids heavy casualties for the attackers. The defenders, after all, have their own problems: no resupply of food or ammo and limited stores of even water.

    • Low causalities in Fallujah? Wrong! The Marines suffered very high casualties along with some army units, until Gen Mattis pulled the troops out of that God forsaken city and stated bombing them from arty and air with a liberal us of Willie Pete to get those savages out of there. I was there and watched it when I was a contractor.

  7. Psalm 25
    Great Is the Lord
Psa 35:1  A Psalm of David. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
Psa 35:2  Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
Psa 35:3  Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
Psa 35:4  Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Psa 35:5  Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
Psa 35:6  Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
Psa 35:7  For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.
Psa 35:8  Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
Psa 35:9  And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Psa 35:10  All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
Psa 35:11  False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
Psa 35:12  They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
Psa 35:13  But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
Psa 35:14  I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
Psa 35:15  But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
Psa 35:16  With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Psa 35:17  Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
Psa 35:18  I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
Psa 35:19  Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
Psa 35:20  For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
Psa 35:21  Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
Psa 35:22  This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
Psa 35:23  Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
Psa 35:24  Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Psa 35:25  Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
Psa 35:26  Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
Psa 35:27  Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Psa 35:28  And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

  8. “nobody is harping on about harming innocent Russian civilians.”

The difference is intent. And most civilian deaths in Ukraine are from Ukrainian anti–aircraft missiles that returned from whence the came, and blamed on Russia by the propaganda machine.

Isrealis has been talking genocide (and practicing it as well) for a long time. No hiding it now, just up to humanity to open it’s eyes.

    • Wow, I certainly think your last paragraph is anything but the truth.

Israel has never practiced genocide but the Muslims are the ones who always practice genocide.

As Golda Meier truthfully said “If Muslims put down their weapons there would be peace. But, if Hebrews put down their weapons they would be genocided.”

      • theresa is correct. Given the IDF’s capabilities, if Israel were committing “genocide” against the “Palestinians”, they would all be dead.

    • What you call genocide is called what it is, just warfare. Humanity!? Pffft, anything more than a broken finger nail suffered is call a war crime by the so called peace loving left. Put me in charge, and I’ll show you what a fakestinian free Gaza looks like.

  9. Can anyone tell me if, during WWII, the Allies warned the civilians in Dresden to leave the city before it was fire-bombed?

    How about Hiroshama and Nagasaki?

According to the reasoning expressed by some on this thread, our actions should have caused the Japanese and the Germans to become even more determined to kill us. Clearly that didn’t happen.

One thing Muslims do understand is strength.

The Muslim world is so filled with deceit that most of the leaders who publicly excoriate Israel privately welcome the coming demise of Hamas. And who will militarily aid Hamas? Only Iranian proxies such as Hezbollah. Russia is bogged down in Ukraine. China doesn’t care enough to field an army so far away and China has its own problems including a domestic Muslim problem. Saudi Arabia and the Emirates are unlikely to want to get involved. Lebanon–other than Hezbollah–definitely doesn’t want to be involved.

That leaves Iran. Iran is highly unlikely to field a ground army, although it can lob missiles. Reportedly it is not so far along with its nuclear weapons program (thanks to the Israelis) as to really threaten Israel. Netanyahu responded to its bellicose threats by saying he would wipe Iran off the face of the earth.

And none of these countries care enough to take in any of their “brother” Palestinian refugees. Jordan tried that around 1970 and the peaceful Palestinians began attacking Jordanians and even tried to stage a coup. So the King paid a Pakistani general to come in with troops and 25,000 Palestinians were killed.

The children of Gaza imbibe Jew hatred almost with their mother’s milk. The brainwashing begins very early. Jew hatred is epidemic in the Muslim world and, as readers of GoV, is embedded in the Koran and the foundational texts of Islam. Somehow, Israel must see to an overhaul of the Gaza educational system. I don’t see how this is to be done, but if it is not the children will continue to be weaponized.

    • It was actually King Hussein using Bedouin troops that killed over 50,000 fakestians and drove out the rest to Lebanon. There were very few paki’s there that made no difference in the outcome.

  10. Every time I hear an Israeli on i24 say they have no desire to take back Gaza, I feel sick. I totally agree with MC, who will the next terror be? Israel needs to take back Gaza and the Arab states must take their Arabs.
The Bi Dung corrupt regime is really Obama 3.0 , they are a terror supporting entity.
