Being bred out of your own country is no fun, just ask White Californians. Now I understand what the films ‘Planet of the Apes’ (1968, based on the 1963 novel by Pierre Boule) and ‘The Time Machine’ (1960, based on the 1895 novel by H.G.Wells) were trying to warn us for. Tolking did the job already earlier with the ‘Lord of the Rings’. Shocking to see the cradle of the Renaissance being invaded by apes (but knowing that by using that equation I insult the real apes).
