Germany wants to send even more “climate aid” to poorer countries, and will require no accounting for it.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Waste of tax money

Huge damage: climate aid to poorer countries misused

Germany sent €53 billion in climate aid abroad. But that money was invested in hotels, chocolate shops and coal-fired power plants. Why the traffic light* now wants to pay even more.

Berlin

As part of a UN initiative, the federal government provided so-called “climate aid” to other countries from 2015 to 2021 in the amount of €53.2 billion. This was announced by the Foreign Office led by Annalena Baerbock (Greens). But no one checks what happens to the money. Now it turns out: It is misused. [Imagine my shock — NOT.]

According to research by the Reuters news agency, it is difficult to understand what the climate aid payments are used for. [Are they really that stupid, or just callous?] For some amounts, the climate reference is not even clear. According to the report, large sums of money flowed to a coal-fired power plant, a hotel, or chocolate shops, for example. [And the rest was used to buy private luxury mansions, luxury cars or stashed in offshore accounts.]

Greens want to increase the climate aid budget [I wonder if they’d be so keen if this was their own money. I rather doubt it. People who never worked for a living have no relationship to money and how it is earned through hard work.]

Yet these countries have not broken any rules. Because there are no guidelines that determine what the money has to be spent on. [Now that’s convenient; makes corruption for personal enrichment so much easier. Where can one apply for a Climate Grant?] The UN climate secretariat told Reuters that it is up to states to decide for themselves whether to introduce uniform standards. Apparently Germany doesn’t want that.

The German budget would increase again for this. The climate state secretary of the Federal Foreign Office, the former environmental activist Jennifer Morgan, is planning a significant increase in climate aid for 2024. Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has already given his commitment to it.

Afterword from the translator:

I guess they just look at each other in disbelief and then say to themselves, “Well, if you Germans are THAT stupid, then we’ll take it. Thank you.”

They simply take the money for things that are more important to them than this bogus climate protection, which is just anther way of massive wealth-distribution from the poor, working and middle-class to the filthy RICH.

Can anyone blame them for it? After all, it’s only reasonable that they will take advantage of these ideological retards. It’s definitely good for other countries’ puppeticians that German puppeticians throw the tax money of their hard working citizens around like confetti at a carnivals parade, and seemingly without any controls. But hey, the Germans seem to like it, otherwise they wouldn’t be voting for this over and over. Could it be that they try to buy indulgences like the gullible did in medieval times so that they can atone for their climate sins, colonialism, the Third Reich and whatnot, all that is being drummed into their spongy heads? “Do something good for disadvantaged countries. After all, they don’t have as many hard-working and ‘wealthy’ citizens as we. We need to help them so that they also can save the climate from the evils of CO2 and cow farts,” seems to be the sales pitch for the credulous and utterly stupid. What happened to the country of poets and thinkers? I guess they all ended up in a mind-gulag or emigrated without a backward glance.
