An Italian Mujahid Returns Home to Jail

The following news story concerns an Italian convert to Islam who journeyed to Syria to fight in the jihad. He has now been arrested and brought home to serve his sentence in Italy. One presumes he finds the accommodations in Pescara to be far more congenial than those in a Syrian prison.

00:09   Gradually radicalized, he decided to leave in 2014. Destination: holy war.
00:13   He adhered to the Al Qaeda ideology, the group Jabhat al-Nusra.
00:20   He is a 24-year-old man raised in Switzerland but of Italian origin, the province of Pescara
00:24   where his parents and grandparents originated. And where he used to go on vacation.
00:28   The father of four, he shares the jihad path with his wife, a German citizen of Turkish origin.
