Former Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini is on trial in the Sicilian city of Catania, in a bunker that is normally used as a courtroom for Mafia trials. Mr. Salvini is charged with “kidnapping” for his actions as interior minister, when he closed Italian ports to migrant ferries run by NGOs.
