According to police, the incident was preceded by an argument in the hospital. The 30-year-old is said to have gotten into an argument with staff at an Ilten hospital at around 8:20am. The staff alerted the police, who persuaded the man to leave the hospital “with forceful words”. However, the man apparently returned. The police were called to the clinic again at around 9:40am. The troublemaker is said to have threatened, spat on and insulted a member of staff there and then left the hospital.

Police demanded that he drop the knife
