A Turkish culture-enricher caused some excitement the night before last at a railway station in Frankfurt when he approached a fellow Turk from behind and fired several shots at his head, killing him.

Headshot killer at Frankfurt Central Station is Turkish

Shot in the head on platform 9: A man was murdered in Frankfurt’s main train station on Tuesday evening. The police have now released details about the perpetrator and the victim.

Frankfurt am Main

A 54-year-old Turk shot a 27-year-old — also a Turkish citizen — on the platform at Frankfurt Central Station on Tuesday evening. According to police reports, “the shooter approached the 27-year-old, who was standing on the platform of track 9 at Frankfurt Central Station, from behind at around 9pm and fired several shots at him with a pistol.”

The perpetrator then fled, throwing away the murder weapon. The victim died at the scene. Federal police officers arrested the suspect a short time later, also at the main train station. The 54-year-old was arrested without offering resistance. Investigators were able to find and secure the suspected murder weapon.

The police have not yet given any information about a possible motive. The 54-year-old Turk will be brought before the investigating judge at the Frankfurt District Court on Wednesday. There it will be decided whether the suspect will be remanded in custody or not. [I take it they’ll keep him in custody; after all, the victim wasn’t a German, but a “precious” migrant.]
