I think they see this as a viable plan B. They will be safe in their bunkers then come out and rule over us all. They call themselves an “Economic forum” but they have no understanding of economics, industry, manufacturing etc and what is required to support a first world life style

These people have no idea how interconnected things are, how it takes scads of individuals to make simple things–windows, roofs, mattresses. I don’t think these idiots are prepared to do without these basic creature-comforts, which are actually the hallmark of a first world “lifestyle.” Forget luxury goods. Having a roof over your head has always been the ultimate in luxury.
