Seneca III sends his Yuletide greetings.
May I wish all you GoVers a very happy and joyful Christmas, hopefully amongst your family and friends; if this is not so either through Service or misfortune, may my thoughts and prayers and those of many others walk beside you this night so that you will not be alone.
I also wish to thank you all for the abundant and thoughtful comments you have appended to the various articles and reports published throughout the year for these in so many ways define our community.

Merry Christmas, Ned, and to all the contributors to GoV. Thinking of you.
Thank you for your Christmas greetings, and for the passionate and furious commentary you have made over the years here at GOV.
I left the old place three years ago, and I do miss it warts and all. Blessings to you and your family and everyone here at GOV.
Merry and Blessed Christmas to you and yours!
and in that same spirit,
Joy to the earth, the Saviour reigns, let men their songs employ;
while fields and flood, rocks, hills, and plains repeat the sounding joy,
repeat the sounding joy, repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.
