Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/19/2021

Thirteen illegal migrants were discovered hidden in a truckload of watermelons in Poland. Thank goodness they were from Turkey, Afghanistan, Tibet, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan — if they’d been from Africa, their hiding place would have been considered racial stereotyping.

In other news, two more Texas Democrats who fled the state for D.C. have tested positive for COVID-19.

Academic Conference Looks ‘Critically’ At Taylor Swift’s Career — Including the Whiteness of Her Fans

An academic conference this weekend takes an in-depth look at Taylor Swift’s career and music, as well as how “the politics of whiteness” relates to her fan base.

The “Taylor Swift Study Day: Eras, Narrative, Digital Music, and Media” event was organized by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute ethnomusicologist Kate Galloway who said of Swift’s music “There’s a tendency to not study, or discount, your ‘guilty pleasure’ listening […] Why not take it seriously? Why not unpack why that is?”

According to the Times Union, the conference features an “international panel of researchers and experts” who will pontificate on “digital fandom and collaboration[,] genre negotiation, identity, and the business of music stardom.”

Arizona Audit Finds Enough Tainted Ballots to Erase Biden’s Lead as Senators Call to Decertify Election

President Donald Trump supporters and American patriots nationwide are emboldened after an Arizona state Senate hearing on the Maricopa County election audit proved massive fraud. Among the audit’s findings so far: 11,326 people in the county who voted in the November 3 election were NOT on the voter rolls on November 7, but were added to the voter rolls by December 4. This number is higher than Joe Biden’s supposed statewide “lead” in Arizona of 10,457 votes. Additionally, more than 74,000 mail-in ballots were counted in the county even though there is no recorded evidence of the ballots being sent to the “voters” in the first place — and Maricopa County withheld all photographic evidence of the mail-in ballot envelopes from the Republican audit team (meanwhile, photographs show ballot printers and boxes getting loaded onto a “Destruction” truck in Phoenix during the Senate hearing). Thin ballot paper used for approximately 168,000 ballots led to markers “bleeding through” the paper, damaging ballots, after a Maricopa County official ordered staff to hand out Sharpie markers to same-day voters even though she knew about concerns with the Sharpies. Another round of subpoenas is expected, as state senators call for the Republican-controlled Arizona legislature to decertify the election and “recall” Joe Biden’s electors in the state. Activists on the ground are fighting to get a warrant from necessary Arizona senators to compel Maricopa County to hand over more evidence.

Biden Backtracks on Facebook “Killing People” As Fauci Urges Americans to Listen to “Trusted Messengers

As analysts blamed the delta variant for Monday’s market ructions, Dr. Anthony Fauci said in an interview that the variant is increasingly becoming the “dominant” strain in the US, while he continued to share data about the efficacy of American-made vaccines despite the growing evidence that the efficacy they provide against Delta is much lower than some believe.

Black Rifle Coffee Goes Woke, Throws Customers Under the Bus in Bizarre NYT Interview

Black Rifle Coffee gave an interview last week with The New York Times, in which it seems like they decided to attack their own customers in a bizarre attempt to distance themselves from their conservative brand image.

According to the interview, Black Rifle Coffee has done well by building their brand as the counter-culture coffee of right-wingers all across the country:

“In 2015, the company’s revenue was $1 million. By 2019, that figure had grown to $82 million. Last year, the company did $163 million in sales,” the NYT reported.

Camp Kook: Minnesota Summer Camp Replaces American Flag With BLM Flag

Once upon a time in America, kids went to summer camp to be kids. They swam, canoed and built campfires. Kids went to camp to play and enjoy the outdoors. The same was not true for other summer camps around the world.

American summer camps were free of political ideologies.

Not anymore. Consider Camp Kook, or as it is known officially, Camp Warren.

Camp Warren is in northern Minnesota and is affiliated with the YMCA in Minneapolis. Affluent whites from the Minnesota suburbs send their kids there, and it is saturated with leftist ideology in addition to sailing and smores.

The American flag at Camp Warren has been replaced by a Black Lives Matter flag. Apparently the Stars and Stripes is oppressive, and it is better to fly a flag of a group that supports murderous Cuban communism.

Belgium Takes Back the Women and Children of Former Islamic State Fighters

Belgium allowed and organized the return of ten children and six women from Syrian internment camps for former Islamic State (IS) fighters. In recent years, hundreds of people, including women, have left for Syria and Iraq to fight for the Islamic State. Some had children during the fighting. However, after the fall of this terrorist organization, hundreds of women and children remained blocked in internment camps. From Belgium, 400 people joined the Islamic State, which is one of the highest numbers in Europe.

Pope Bans Latin Masses From Parish Churches

Russia Blocks Access to Czech Radio Broadcast

Russia’s Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare blocked the Russian website of Czech Radio (Ceský rozhlas) because of an article about Czech martyr Jan Palach from 2001. According to Czech Radio, the entire website of its broadcast in Russia is not available.

The URL address (https://ruski.radio.cz/yan-palah-i-ego-posledovateli-8037218) now appears in the official Russian list of blocked sites. The details only state that the decision to include the site in the register was taken on May 17 this year.

According to the information obtained by the iRozhlas.cz server, the Russian authority justified the restriction of access by saying that the article, entitled Jan Palach and his followers, promotes suicide. The text recalled the act of 20-year-old Palach, who burned himself in the center of Prague in January 1969 in protest against the Soviet occupation of what was then Czechoslovakia.

Czech Interior Minister Mulls Sending Police Officers to Help Lithuania With Migrants

The Czech Republic could help Lithuania with the influx of migrants from Belarus, either financially or by sending police officers. The situation was discussed by the State Security Council on Friday morning, announced Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Jan Hamacek. The government should discuss concrete steps during today’s meeting.

“It is clear that Lithuania needs help. The Belarusian regime imports migrants from the Middle East and Central Asia to Belarus in an organized manner. Then they desert them by the Lithuanian border,” said Hamacek.

EU Agency to Help Monitor Lithuanian Border Amid Surge in Migrants From Belarus

The European Union’s border agency says it will deploy 60 guards next week to monitor Lithuania’s frontier amid an influx of migrants crossing illegally from Belarus, a move seen as revenge by Minsk after the bloc imposed a new round of sanctions on Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s repressive regime.

Frontex Executive Director Fabrice Leggeri, on a trip to Vilnius amid a flood of migrant crossings unleashed by Lukashenka in recent months, said on July 19 that the EU was “facing something that is unprecedented.”

“It’s the first time in history that Frontex has to deploy such an operation in this region of the European Union,” Leggeri said.

The centre of Athens is at the mercy of gangs of migrants and the so-called “Islamic Police”, which forces people to observe Islamic rules.

The actions of a complex criminal organisation and the so-called “Moutawins”, also known as the Islamic Police, check that Islamic Sharia Law is observed and cause terror among thousands of peaceful refugees and immigrants living in Athens.

People trying to live their lives in peace are harassed by savage criminals and the fanatical Islamic Police, To Vima reported.

In the case of the “Islamic Police”, according to complaints that have come to light, extremists patrol the main hangout areas of migrants, terrorising and enforce religious laws on people outside of Greek law.

Transgender Biological Male Cleared to Compete in Women’s Weightlifting in Tokyo Olympics

In continuing with the total farce this year’s Olympics has become thanks to Tokyo’s overzealous response to Covid, the International Olympic Committee has given the “all clear” for a transgender biological male to compete on behalf of New Zealand in the women’s weightlifting super-heavyweight category.

43 year old Laurel Hubbard’s inclusion “does not violate the current rules on the books,” the committee ruled, according to the New York Post. She would be the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympic Games, despite the fact that transgender athletes have been allowed to compete in the Olympics since 2015.

The policy was approved by the VDOE late last year, but the school board felt that it could not in good conscience enforce its terms.

According to the Daily Wire, the VDOE’s policy directs individual schools to “accept a student’s assertion of their gender identity without requiring any particular substantiating evidence, including diagnosis, treatment, or legal documents.”

  1. Watermelons are a racist construct of the white male patriarchy.
Now that Western Civ is conquered and destroyed by a fifth column of traitors, humiliation and the eventual genocide of YT is on the menu.

    • I/m just wondering what is that ” Western civilization” you mention about ?
Auschwitz ? Yalta ? 11 mln murdered in Belgian Congo ? German Death Camps in Namibia or thousands other pinnacles of Civ cultural achievements

      • To the victors always go the spoils. Soon you will see the backlash on steroids as us westerners object to our own demise.

        • There never been ” western culture”..
Post Roman Christian-Latin based since fall of Roman Empire in 2 parts..
I/m a Pole..We believe in Culture based on 10 Commends and EQUALITY of Man..
We are rejecting AngloSaxon Culture of Death and Cultural Supremacy..
We Roman Catholic are far away from heretic Lutheran-Calvinist,Protestant Masonic Ideology which serve as a base for such a abomination as ” western culture”..

  2. Doesn’t a society, like Britain these days, deserve to go under when letting themselves be invaded without any response or defence?
For Brits and Irish this has to be frightening. Creatures less than a generation out of Africa, Pakistan and Turkey crash landing a country once reliably civilised is now being bloodied to be more heathen unreliable and chaotic. The messed up females. Where is another generation coming from?

    • It’s the inevitable result of allowing anyone over a certain age who can fog a mirror with their mouth breathing to elect those who then proceed to destroy whats left of the nation that had once built an empire that circled the planet. Provide dysgenic incentives to encourage the dumbest and most irresponsible to breed like islamists all while flooding your country with islamists and why should one be surprised by the result?

Of course this has only accelerated exponentially within the last several years. British and Western civilization effectively was murdered by those same two pistol bullets that ended the Archduke Ferdinand and his wife Sophie followed by the years of mindless slaughter in the mud and trenches of the flower of an entire generation and the civilization that they represented.

  3. A wise man said “no one on their deathbed wishes they had spent more time at work”. A bit of wisdom becoming the motto for many perhaps?

  4. Another one of Biden’s “walk-back” comments, when asked about his role in the Army’s military readiness he replied, “Gee, I Joe?”

  5. Re USA: Second item. Wait till they find out Taylor Swift has made donations to a couple of American symphony orchestras. She’s obviously a white supremacist, along with her fans.

What’s that? All culture is for all people, performers and audiences, if it appeals? You waycist!

  6. This is very funny. If it happened anywhere in the West, the media would scream about Islamophobia with foam at the mouth.
    It was back in June
    =================
Yesterday, on the territory of the Cold Storage Plant (ice cream is made there), the residents of Kirov noticed armed men.

As told in the FSB of the Russian Federation on June 10, the exercises took place. So, according to legend, armed people entered the territory of the Cold Storage Plant, seizing and holding workers in one of the buildings of the enterprise. Two employees of the enterprise received gunshot wounds. Law enforcement officers who arrived at the Cold Storage Plant reported that a tanker truck with a machine gun attached to it, which had signs of an improvised explosive device, was found near the ammonia containers.

The unknown, who took hostages, put forward a demand on behalf of the Islamic state to release the convicted Muslims from the Kirov colonies (There are a lot of prisons – colonies in the vicinity). If the demands were not met, the criminals threatened to kill the hostages and blow up the ammonia tank.

The head of the region’s FSB department made a decision to conduct a counter-terrorist operation. The criminals refused the offer to surrender. During negotiations with the terrorists, one of the hostages was killed. The head of the counter-terrorist operation made a decision to conduct an emergency military action, during which the criminals blew up an ammonia tank. There are no casualties among the employees of the law enforcement agencies. Measures were taken to minimize and eliminate the consequences of the terrorist attack; no other explosive devices were found.

  7. Ned, I have made a number of postings on several articles and YOU have deleted them. Why? This is the THIRD time in a week and a half. Do you want me to leave GoV permanently because there is something weird going on.

    • No, I don’t want you to leave GoV. But I consider gratuitous insults and invective to be unacceptable, and if there is nothing else but that in a comment, I delete it.

There is a limit to the amount of vituperation against Catholics that I will accept. My late wife was a Catholic, and I grew up in a Catholic neighborhood, so I’m very familiar with Catholicism. Catholics that I have experience of bear no resemblance to the vicious caricatures that you sometimes post, so there is only so much of it I will tolerate.

      • if anything, pray for them. I was raised catholic and coming to the Lord required crossing a minefield of all the dogma that I had been taught and sincerely believed.

      • I don’t like Abrahamic religions. Some of them cause me a sharp disgust and rejection because of the ideas of “chosenness”. But I would forgive a lot to Catholicism for music, architecture and visual arts.
An inhuman regime has been established in Russia. The state no longer wants to spend money on orphans and has canceled baby boxes. Even the ROC (which has formed a criminal union with the state – the new “Politburo”) denies mercy to abandoned children. And only the Catholic Church in our city dared to open a baby box. But it was banned by the prosecutor’s office.

      • What about Maria’s constant demonizing Protestants. I guess that is fine with you. But, then I see roman Catholics demonizing my belief every day. [vulgar epithets redacted]
Enjoy your life of protecting Maria for slander.

YOU ARE AS BAD AS CNN.

        • Dear Theresa..
          I don’t need to ” demonize” Protestants..
Their Historical records speak for themselves..
Look at ” hotbed” of today Protestantism which is Dutch Nederland and Germany..
The ” future” they are ” cooking” for us in Europe..
Holland become Tax evasion heaven ,World Money Laundering Capital. Illegal Migration Promoter ,Islam Exporter to Europe, Destroyer Europe Unity and Destroyer of Christianity..
What you have to do is just travel to Amsterdam and empirically experience above..
          Same about Germany..
What a Dynamic Duo… Like in SNL sketches ..
Your Protestant Culture and Ideology are Perverting, Degenerating,Corrupt all good what was coming from Latin based Christianity..Until now…today..
Drugs,Prostitution ,Abortions,Euthanasia,Money Laundering etc..all in the name of Profit is a Trade Mark of your New Religion..Since Reformation..
And Jesus ,God in Holly Trinity never has anything to do with your crimes..

    • Theresa wake up !!
Your soldiers ( fathers and brothers) just in Poland butchered and murder over 7 mln people..All under premises ” Got Mit Uns”..
What is a real name of your God ?
What God would allow his faithful commit such atrocities ?
For us Catholics for sure it isn’t Lord Jezus Chrystus !
Abandon your Hate toward others whom you see as ” Untermensch ” !
This Superiority felling you have been poisoned in the West by Generations doesn’t serve you well !

        • My answer is obvious and you well known..
All this Helish and Evil ideologies arrive from same sources..
REFORMATION in Germany and Netherlands ( Höhe-Dutch)
Hegel shaped and give it ideological form,
Karl Marx,Engels and Rosa Luxemburg make popular and we have Hitler and Auschwitz..
Soviets was nothing else than German Commie-Fascist International Revolution..
We in Poland doesn’t make distinction between German ( Fascism-Nazi ) and “soviet” Russian Commie Fascists..
          Una racia una facia..

  8. Well said Maria. However the Islamic lovers of hate and human degradation in their few seconds of infamy have killed slaughtered and enslaved many times more. I will take my chances and fight for and with the non Muslim world.

  9. As a Czech have you forgot Mohacs and White Mountains battle ?
Osman Turks didin’t take any part of it..
We in East learned how to deal with Islam..
Never less ..Western Colonial and Betrayals Culture have to sees to exist..
They are preparing for us another World War..

    • You haven’t learned anything. You can only run along the streets with wooden sticks, crosses and torches. Because you are allowed to do so by those who place the big chess pieces.
The will of the people (especially the Slavs) is complete zero.
