“The $700 Billion Gorilla in the Room”

Earlier this week, we observed that as a direct result of a flood of Bill issuance in the past two months, the Treasury’s cash balance which it will use to fund various stimulus programs and other fiscal initiatives, has exploded since the onset of the coronavirus crisis, hitting a record $1.5 trillion last Friday. This, we said, “is notable because in the Treasury’s latest quarterly borrowing needs forecast which projected a funding need of $3 trillion for the current quarter, the Treasury also projected that the cash balance at the end of the quarter would be $800 billion.”

This also means that if indeed the Treasury’s forecast is accurate, then over the next two weeks, the Treasury’s cash balance has to drop by a record $700 billion to hit the $800 billion target!

They Are Telling us That the 2nd Wave of the Coronavirus is Here, And the Stock Market is Totally Freaking Out

Are you ready for the next wave of COVID-19? Actually, the mainstream media is telling us that it is already here, and that has sparked another round of fear and panic on Wall Street. But the fact that the number of confirmed cases is rising again should not surprise anyone. As restrictions were lifted, it was inevitable that the virus would begin spreading more rapidly, and that is precisely what we have witnessed. During the 24 hour period that just ended, there were more than 136,000 new cases reported around the globe, and that is the highest one day total that I have seen so far. Here in the United States, there were 23,300 newly confirmed cases, and that represented an increase of over 2,000 from the previous 24 hour period. Concern that this could be the dreaded “second wave” that the mainstream media keeps talking about pushed stock prices dramatically lower on Thursday…

A Brief History of Antifa: Part I

U.S. Attorney General William Barr has blamed Antifa — a militant “anti-fascist” movement — for the violence that has erupted at George Floyd protests across the United States. “The violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly,” he said.

Barr also said that the federal government has evidence that Antifa “hijacked” legitimate protests around the country to “engage in lawlessness, violent rioting, arson, looting of businesses, and public property assaults on law enforcement officers and innocent people, and even the murder of a federal agent.” Earlier, U.S. President Donald J. Trump had instructed the U.S. Justice Department to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization.

Academics and media outlets sympathetic to Antifa have argued that the group cannot be classified as a terrorist organization because, they claim, it is a vaguely-defined protest movement that lacks a centralized structure. Mark Bray, a vocal apologist for Antifa in America and author of the book “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” asserts that Antifa “is not an overarching organization with a chain of command.”

Empirical and anecdotal evidence shows that Antifa is, in fact, highly networked, well-funded and has a global presence.

After Tweet Supporting ‘Good Police Officers, ‘ Arizona State Revokes Journalism Dean Offer

Arizona State University has rescinded a job offer to the new dean of its journalism school after students complained of past microaggressions and other insensitive comments.

Sonya Forte Duhé, who was set to take over as dean of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and CEO of Arizona PBS, has had the offer revoked after nearly two dozen past students complained that she frequently encouraged them to, among other things, dress appropriately, wear makeup while on air, and speak with a more standard journalistic voice.

The complaining students found these actions to be “racist” and “homophobic.”

Caroline Glick: Time for Trump to be Trump at Home and Abroad

Donald Trump was elected four years ago because Americans wanted to save their country. Both in domestic and foreign policy, in the eighth year of Barack Obama’s presidency, America was going off the rails. At home, Obama’s identity politics were tearing the country apart. As is now graphically apparent, identity politics are not about expanding justice. They are geared towards tearing Americans away from one another and undermining the very idea of America.

Abroad, America had become the laughingstock of its enemies and the worst nightmare of its friends as Obama and his merry band of foreign policy “experts” abandoned and denigrated allies and reorganized America’s foreign policy around a commitment to appeasing and kowtowing to America’s worst foes, first and foremost, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Trump rose to the top of a crowded field of Republican candidates because voters believed that the iconoclast who made good deals because he cared about the result and didn’t care what people thought of him, would make America great again. They believed they could trust him to tell the truth and do what needed to be done, no matter how many inbred “experts” told him differently.

And America needed a leader who wouldn’t shy away from controversy.

In 2016, with Obama’s backing the radical, anti-American, anti-police #BlackLivesMatter group was ascendant. Police had targets on their heads. Two weeks before the Republican Convention in July 2016, five police officers were massacred in Dallas after anti-police protests in the city. Days before the convention, three policemen were murdered and four were wounded in another massacre in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Defending law enforcement officers and pledging to restore safety to America’s cities was a major theme of Trump’s convention address and a major pledge of his campaign. And he delivered…

Colorado Bill Requires “Re-Education” For Parents Who Refuse the Coronavirus Vaccine

Are you ready for re-education camps in the United States? Colorado has introduced a bill that would “re-educate” parents who refuse to vaccinate their child with the coronavirus vaccine.

The bill forces all doctors and medical staff to give vaccinations with no exemptions, even if they are in a situation where they believe it would not be in that child’s best interest. The bill’s current version, however, does not list any sanctions or punishments for medical staff that refuse, according to Life News.

The bill just passed through a committee in Colorado (20-14) to reduce available exemptions on vaccinations for school-age children (making vaccines mandatory). This bill offers “online education modules” for parents who want a different vaccination schedule than what the state demands. Submitting a “certificate of completion” from the re-education classes is one way to receive the state-sanctioned vaccine exemption.

This plandemic was never about health, it was about forcing everyone to get a vaccine: an injection of whatever the hell the ruling class decided to put in the vaccine.

Florida Man Friday Challenge: Why Don’t We Do it in the Road?

Is it time for Florida Man Friday already?

I almost never open with a Beatles reference, but with this week’s news, “Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?” was an irresistible pick.

Look, if you were to ask me which was the more important ‘60s British rock band, The Beatles or the Rolling Stones, I’d have to admit that the honor goes to John and Paul and George and Ringo.

Sorry, Glimmer Twins.

On the other hand, nine times out of ten, guess which band I’d rather listen to?

Get off of my cloud if you can’t guess the answer: The Stones, almost every single time.

Regardless, it’s with a Beatles headline and no small amount of satisfaction that I bring to you another fab edition of…

Italy: Judges Rule That Steve Bannon’s Academy for Populists Can’t be Evicted

Italian judges have ruled that Italy’s Ministry of Culture cannot evict former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon’s academy for Right-wing populists from the 800-year-old monastery that he had leased for the purpose.

Steve Bannon, who has become renowned throughout the world as a voice for populism since he led Donald Trump’s successful presidential campaign in 2016, signed a 19-year lease for the monastery in 2018 along with his partner in the venture, Benjamin Harnwell. The thirteenth-century monastery sits on a mountaintop south of Rome.

Bannon’s stated intention for the monastery is to use it to host what he has named The Academy for the Judeo-Christian West, which falls under the purview of his Dignitatis Humanae Institute. The Academy’s purpose is to serve as a training ground for Right-wing populists, offering courses in history, philosophy, politics, and theology for up to 300 students per semester.

  1. I read this article.

    https://voiceofeurope.com/2020/06/prominent-scientific-journal-accuses-science-of-racism/

How serious is the “scientific community” to address the “problem of diversity”?

In Russia and the Soviet Union, this has always been profanity and a fake sign. They, of course, invested in national personnel from Bantustan, but it was more like cultivating a “wedding general.”
They were caressed by the authorities, they were given awards, titles … but nothing more.
    ================
The wedding general (Russian idiom) is a front man, invited only for representation, possessing imaginary authority and not playing any role in any business.

    • Elena: Thank you for sharing this link about the editorial in “Cell.” Academia has begun the inevitable process of devouring itself, starting with the purging of scientists guilty of objectivity and intellectual integrity.

  2. “Seattle’s police chief said that her officers are unable to enter the BLM-controlled “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” and cannot respond to calls about rapes and violent crimes there.”

The above statement sums up the decay that is eating away at every Scandinavian or western country. Soros bends western countries to his whims, so does Iran, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia. So do individuals and interest groups: Hillary and Huma, CAIR and Southern Poverty, Rachida and Ilhan, ANTIFA and others . . . Chaos is rampant in western “democracies” . Several executive branches direct things except the executive that should direct policies is paralyzed by the enemy within.

Dictators are bad. A nation fragmented with several freely competing powers is disastrous. A few groups, individuals with power neutralises the legitimate power.
But no one tried contending with the president and his ilk, who actually ruined America.

    • Why is diversity deemed necessary only in
      Europe?
Do Arab nations consider that they have to
      Many Arabs?
Do African nations consider that they have to
      Many Africans?
Does China consider it may appear to have to
      Many Chinese?
Does Japan consider itself to be to Japanese?
Europeans are waking up to the biggest con
Trick in history – the hosts are being engulfed
By the visitors, aided and abetted by duplicitous
      Politicians, globalist and Big business.
The useless Johnson full of bluster and little
Else. Not one statue should be defaced or
Removed in the face of this rabid mob!
Why is any young BLM activist given ANY
Publicity when she demands the removal
Of the iconic Churchill statue? No life
Experience, believing she has been oppressed,
      Totally ignorant of our history.
This is a pivotal moment in the Union’s history,
Get this wrong and we will become a third world

The enablers of the left who embrace this insanity will taste the cold steel of their stupidity. We are about to have a civilizational correction of epic proportions. Let it rain!

        • THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
          by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

          They were not easily moved,
They were icy — willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
          No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

          It was not suddently bred.
          It will not swiftly abate.
          Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.
