Illinois Dems’ $41 Billion Demand Includes $10 Billion Pension Bailout That Has Nothing to Do With Coronavirus

Illinois Democrats are demanding $41 billion from the federal government for coronavirus relief, including $10 billion for Illinois’s cash-strapped and underfunded public pension plan. The most fiscally mismanaged state in the union that has criminally neglected funding its public pension fund for two decades wants Washington to pull its chestnuts out of the fire?

Certainly, states should get something. But what Illinois is asking for is shocking.

Is Macron Right to Say That Coronabonds Will Save the Eurozone?

by Matt Snape

by French President Emmanuel Macron provided a stark warning to his EU counterparts on Friday as he warned that the bloc is facing a “moment of truth.” He is arguing that the COVID-19 crisis has strengthened the need for greater solidarity among EU member states, particularly those nations that are most vulnerable to the economic effects of the virus, which includes Spain, Italy and Portugal.

The French leader added that now was the appropriate time for coronabonds to be issued which would pool member states’ debt and lessen the burden on them. The bloc could then issue common debt with a common guarantee. However, Austria, the Netherlands and Germany all oppose this plan.

The Disagreement Over Coronabonds

As the European Commission’s President Ursula von der Leyen was forced to issue a heartfelt apology to Italy for the way that the EU has responded to the country’s plea for help during this time, Macron believes that if the bloc cannot agree to issue indebted nations with coronabonds, it will spell the end of the eurozone.

California City Dumps 37 Tons of Sand in Skatepark to Keep Kids Out

How much does it take to enforce government restrictions during the era of the coronavirus?

In San Clemente, California, the answer comes to 37 tons of sand, which the city dumped into Ralph’s Skate Court to keep kids away.

The city said it acted because despite issuing social-distancing guidelines and officially closing all parks on April 1, the skateboard park was still being used.

Chicago Prosecutors Hide Names of Released Prisoners From Police

(WASHINGTON TIMES) Cook County, home of Chicago, released hundreds of inmates from its jails during the coronavirus crisis. But good luck trying to find out who is back on the streets or what crimes they are accused of committing.

The prosecutors and public defenders, who handle the cases in special COVID-19 court hearings, keep a close hold on the information and refuse to share it with the public or other law enforcement agencies.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office that runs the jail says it doesn’t know who was released because of the coronavirus.

They Don’t Want You to Know the Truth! It’s Time to End the Tyrannical Lockdown Ourselves

The truth is that the government is lying about the real statistics and continuing to tell us that reopening the economy can’t happen right now. Well, it’s time we reopen it ourselves. We’re Americans! Since when have we ever needed the government’s permission?

Fear and panic has gripped the public as the mainstream media did their job of providing the right kind of scary propaganda to the masses. I walked on eggshells before Easter so we wouldn’t get shadowbanned more than we already are. But not anymore. It’s time we, as a people, stand up to tyranny and tell the elitists they don’t control us!

ZeroHedge and others, such as us are targets of big tech for speaking truth to power! They don’t want people exposed to even differing opinions at this point, because the official narrative is all they want you focused on. If you are panicked and afraid and need them, you are easy to control and manipulate.

Not only has our favorite site for financial news (ZeroHedge) been banned from Twitter, but I recently noticed that when I went to click on its articles shared by others, I end up getting a special disclaimer that gives the vibe that it’s a virus site and is about to crash my computer!

We should have stood up years ago when they throttled our freedom in the aftermath of 9/11 to “keep us safe.” But with the coronavirus, I now see the mainstream press and its elitist master are going for the final death blow to our liberty — a decapitation strike that has been very successful so far while they keep pushing lies about the viruses severity to keep everyone in a deep state of fear.

Trump Says New York Times Reporter Maggie Haberman Should ‘Give Back’ Her Pulitzer Prize

President Trump said New York Times White House correspondent Maggie Haberman should give back her Pulitzer Prize for her reports on Russia.

Trump addressed a report Haberman wrote on Thursday, which claimed his new chief of staff, Mark Meadows, is emotional and cries at work.

Haberman wrote in her story, titled “For Mark Meadows, Transition From Trump Confidant to Chief of Staff Is a Hard One,” that, “In the case of Mr. Meadows, it has not helped him with his White House colleagues that the former North Carolina congressman, who has a reputation for showing his emotions, cried while meeting with members of the White House staff on at least two occasions.”

Trump defended Meadows during a Saturday press briefing and unleashed on Haberman for her reports on Russia.

“I even read a story where Mark Meadows, he’s a tough guy, he was crying. He was crying. It was Maggie Haberman, you know she won a Pulitzer Prize for her coverage of Russia. But she was wrong on Russia. So was everyone else. They should all give back their Pulitzer Prizes,” Trump said.

Donald Tusk Compares Hungary to Nazism, And How Totally Offensive it is to My Hungarian Jewish Grandparents

“Carl Schmitt would be very proud of Viktor Orban,” said Donald Tusk in a recent interview in the German Der Spiegel, which happened to be published on the Hungarian Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Mentioning someone in the same sentence with the scholar who contributed to the establishment of Hitler’s legal order is not exactly the most subtle way of calling that person a Nazi.

The smaller problem with that is that it has nothing to do with reality. Orban — and it’s starting to get boring writing it now for the hundredth time — has never made any statement that would support such a claim. At the same time, he noted on numerous occasions that he employs a “zero tolerance” policy for anti-Semitic behavior. In fact, Jewish life in Hungary is enjoying a renaissance, a fact supported by the testimony of many proud, Hungarian Jews, including me.

France: Illicit Drug Shortages Threaten an Increase in Violence

Travel restrictions that have been put in place in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak are leading to increased tensions between dealers, as well as law enforcement, in France’s illicit drug trade.

In many areas where street trafficking is usually commonplace, such as the migrant-majority Paris suburbs, open dealing has dropped off due to the lockdown. The police are making more frequent patrols, and are issuing many fines for curfew violations. Given that the streets are largely empty these days, drug deals stand out more than usual.

The European Union is Dead But Does Not Yet Know it

The new coronavirus appears to be tearing apart the fragile framework of the European Union.

“Europe” said the former Commission chief and a EU godfather, Jacques Delors, “is in “mortal danger”.

If citizens feel themselves abandoned at the heart of the pandemic, said Former French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, the EU could “collapse”.

The EU objective was evidently supposed to be an “ever closer union”. But now, if the EU does not show solidarity and strength at a time of global crisis, what is the EU’s purpose? Its ideological supporters have a mantra: each new problem must be solved by more Europe. “Europe is our future, we have no other”, Germany’s former Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher once said.

Fumed Over Corona Criticize Islamist Scholar Calls to Expel Hindutva Men From the Gulf

Ayesha Zubair | Gulf Monitor | Dubai | April 19, 2020:: Claiming that Hindutv supporters spreading hatred and committing crimes against Muslims should be expelled from the Gulf, a Saudi Arabian Islamist scholar Sheikh Abidi Zahrani has said, amid a growing number of hate crimes by Hindu supremacists against India’s Muslim minority. But, Zahrani has failed to produce any definite document in support of his claim.

Such alleged attacks have increased during the spread of the coronavirus pandemic as Hindus loyal to the ruling far-right BJP government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi blame Muslims for the spread of the virus.

In a statement the Islamist scholar conveyed, “Modi was barred from the US over his role in the 2002 Gujarat riots that killed over 1,000 Muslims. His supporters have dubbed the virus “corona jihad” and spread the false allegation that the pandemic is a conspiracy by Muslims to infect and poison Hindus”.

Sheikh Abidi Zahrani has fanatically responded to this hostility by urging governments in the Middle East, especially the Gulf, to clamp down on anyone showing sympathy with extremist Hindu ideology. Writing on his official twitter account, Zahrani shared the “Send_Hindutva_Back_home” hashtag: “I propose to all respected followers to list all militant Hindus who are working in the GCC and spreading hate against #Islam #Muslims or our beloved Prophet [Muhammad, peace be upon him] under this #hashtag #Send_Hindutva_Back_home.”…

Coronavirus Spread in India— With and Without the Tablighi Jamaat Incident: A Quantitative Estimation

We are now witnessing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic arising from the novel Coronavirus. Several countries are battling this disease adopting a multi-pronged approach. The primary focus in all the countries has been to flatten the curve so that their medical infrastructure can handle the number of infected people. Discovery of a vaccine against this virus, newer and faster ways of detecting this virus, and curbing the spread of this infection are being taken up in war footing manner in our country too. In this direction, the government of India have been taking several diverse yet focussed measures and declaring a countrywide lockdown for duration of 14 hours Janata curfew on March 22, 2020 by when 396 cases were detected positive for the novel coronavirus in India. This was followed by a countrywide lock-down from 24/03/2020 initially announced till 14/04/2020. Furthermore, the government has extended this lock-down till 03/05/2020 with a review on 20/04/2020. This has been a very bold, well-planned and strategic step taken by our government with the sole aim of containing the spread of COVID-19 despite the possible deleterious effect of the lock-down on our economy.

Unfortunately, there have been few unprecedented activities that have severely affected the social distancing pattern anticipated during this lock-down period. The congregation of thousands of people at Markaz Nizamuddin Mosque in Delhi during March 13-15, 2020 followed by the attendees’, hereinafter referred to as the Jamaats, movement and clandestine activities have proved to be detrimental in containing the spread of this infection.

The Rise and Fall of the Islamic State in Afghanistan

The next day on March 6, Bahaduri went to to attend a gatheirng in Kabul. The 21-year-old and winner of 26 medals was thinking about opening a new sports club in memory of his fellow athlete and friend who had been killed in an attack in the past, Mohammad Baqir.

Suddenly two militants opened fire on the crowd.

A friend of Bahaduri’s called his brother Mahram Ali Bahaduri to ask about Islamdeen after hearing of the attack, so Mahram called Islamdeen. Islamdeen’s phone rang without an answer. Mahram called again, and this time someone else picked up the phone and told him that Islamdeen had been killed. Mahram fell on the ground and his uncles helped him to regain consciousness.

Director of Wuhan Lab Denies Coronavirus Escaped From His Facility

The director of a lab studying the coronavirus in Wuhan — the Chinese city where the global outbreak is believed to have originated — denied that the bug accidentally spread from his facility.

“There’s no way this virus came from us,” Yuan Zhiming, director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, told state media on Saturday.

Yuan’s denial came days after a fresh round of reports suggesting the novel coronavirus escaped from the Wuhan Institute or another similar laboratory miles away in the Chinese city.

Now is Exactly the Time to Investigate the WHO’s Catastrophic Public Failures and Internal Rot

President Trump made precisely the right call in suspending U.S. funding to the World Health Organization, pending a review of its role in “severely mismanaging and covering up the coronavirus.” Trump is doing an important service not only to America, but to the world, with his demands that the WHO clean up its abysmal and misleading act, and stop kowtowing to China.

But here comes the chorus of alarms that this particular moment, in the midst of the worst pandemic since 1918, is not the time to interrupt the WHO’s annual intake of roughly $500 million from U.S. taxpayers. Bill Gates, a big backer of the WHO, declares the United Nations health agency irreplaceable. A Beijing government spokesman proclaims that Trump’s decision will weaken the WHO and “undermine international cooperation.” UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres opines that the WHO is “absolutely critical to the world’s efforts to win the war against COVID-19” and any review of the WHO should wait till “we have finally turned the page on this epidemic.”

The “Chi-Com Gov” Virus

Wherever it originated, the first person that China claims to have contracted the virus was in Wuhan, China in the month of November of 2019. In the five plus months since then it has spread, literally, worldwide. Whatever the original source of this virus, what happened after the virus started infecting humans in China, provides a clear example of how China’s Communist government became a great danger to the entire world and needs to be exposed for what they did, and did not do.

Rescued Migrants to Quarantine on Ferry Off Italy

ROME — Some 180 migrants rescued at sea will be held in isolation on an Italian ferry off the coast of Sicily, the coast guard said Sunday.

Italy has refused to take in saved migrants due to the coronavirus epidemic, saying the outbreak, which has killed over 23,000 people, meant it could no longer be considered a port of safety.

Thirty-four people pulled to safety by Spanish NGO rescue vessel Aita Mari were being transferred Sunday to the Rubattino ferry, which is anchored outside the port of Palermo and staffed by 22 Red Cross volunteers.

They join 146 migrants who were transferred to the ferry on Friday from the The Alan Kurdi rescue vessel, run by the German NGO Sea Eye.

The Real Religious Jihad on America

We are living in a time of revealing. Christians, Conservatives, Libertarians, Patriots, and other freedom and liberty minded people, should take the time to rejoice. There are many reasons to rejoice today but here is one that some may be missing — we should rejoice because the God-haters, the America-haters, the freedom-haters, the liberty-haters, in short, the satanic, demonic, Leftists among us are finally being exposed on a scale and at a depth never before seen in American history.

Leftists, Marxists, Communists, Democrats, America-haters, and God-haters, all have one thing in common — they serve a demonic master who has completely destroyed their innate ability to reason for the common good. I and many others have said for many years that Leftist politics, whether Marxist, or Globalist, is a mental disorder. We are seeing that truth verified like never before…

Woke politics is nothing more than hatred of the Caucasian race. For white liberals it is self-loathing, for people of color it is cover for their blatant racism. The goal of woke politics and woke religion is the total destruction of America and the deliberately engineered restructuring of it as a progressive utopia where alleged marginalized people of gender and sexual dysphoria, people of color, people of aberrant practices and beliefs foreign to this nation and our history, will rule and enforce their version of justice upon the majority. If you are white then you are out.

If you think I’m exaggerating then you are deceived and ignorant, willfully or because of slothfulness. Here is what I wrote recently on the Trojan horse called Critical race Theory.

  1. I came across an interesting video which makes a case that Covid-19 came from a lab.

The creator of the video says that he had lived in China for around ten years and is fluent in the language.

There are at least two commenters on the video who say that they are native Chinese speakers and that the video maker used the Chinese language materials correctly.

  2. About the story of 100 dead priests in Italy:

ah yes, the by now notorious Italian death stats, where dying WITH the virus is the same as dying OF it, that is, assuming a test was even done!

Not to mention high smoking rates and bad air pollution in N Italy and 100,000 Wuhan textile workers in N Italy commuting back and forth.

So how old were these priests typically, and how many were already ill?

Because Point 4 of Facts at http://www.swprs.org today 19.04:

“The median age of the deceased in most countries (including Italy) is over 80 years and only about 1% of the deceased had no serious previous illnesses. The age and risk profile of deaths thus essentially corresponds to normal mortality. Up to 60% of all Covid19-related deaths have occurred in particularly vulnerable nursing homes.”

  3. “Orban — and it’s starting to get boring writing it now for the hundredth time — has never made any statement that would support such a claim. At the same time, he noted on numerous occasions that he employs a “zero tolerance” policy for anti-Semitic behavior.” You forgot that lefties don’t care about facts. They expect you take the information as they present it. How dare we call them out on their bs! Had they the power to send us to gulags, they would happily do so, no doubt.
