Chinese Economy Shrinks 6.8 Percent in Q1

The economic effect of the coronavirus pandemic in China is worse than expected: in the first quarter of the year, the country’s GDP shrank by 6.8 percent, which was its first year-on-year contraction in 28 years. In fact, the first since the data has been recorded.

Gross domestic product fell 6.8 percent in January-March year-on-year, official data showed on Friday, slightly larger than the 6.5% decline forecast by analysts and reversing a 6% expansion in the fourth quarter of last year.

Overcapacity / Oversupply Everywhere: Massive Deflation Ahead

The price of a great many assets will crash, out of proportion to the decline in demand.

Oil is the poster child of the forces driving massive deflation: overcapacity / oversupply and a collapse in demand. Overcapacity / oversupply and a collapse in demand are not limited to the crude oil market; rather, they are the dominant realities in the global economy.

Yes, there are shortages in a few high-demand areas such as PPE (personal protective equipment), but across the entire spectrum of global supply and demand, there is nothing but a vast sea of overcapacity / oversupply and a systemic decline in demand as far as the eye can see.

This is the Worst Employment Collapse in U.S. History by a Very Wide Margin

We have never seen an “employment apocalypse” in the United States like we are witnessing right now, and it is not going to end any time soon. Over the past several days, “coronavirus shutdowns” have officially been extended all over the nation, and the longer these shutdowns last the more jobs our economy is going to lose. And because most Americans were living paycheck to paycheck before this pandemic hit us, many unemployed workers are already unable to pay their bills. Yes, our authorities may be slowing down the spread of the virus, but in the process they have absolutely killed the economy. On Thursday, I was stunned to learn that another 5.2 million Americans filed initial claims for unemployment benefits last week. That brings the grand total for the last four weekly reports “to a staggering 22 million”… [Comment: So, this is how the banksters take down America economically and seek to prevent a Trump reelection.]

U.S. Economy Contracting “At Its Sharpest Pace Since World War Two” And “The Worst is Yet to Come”

Fear of COVID-19 has unleashed economic chaos on a scale that has already surpassed anything that we witnessed during the last recession, and as you will see below, we are now being warned that “the worst is yet to come”. Many Americans are hoping that things can start to return to normal as the U.S. economy “reopens” in the weeks ahead, but the truth is that we are still in the very early chapters of this crisis. In fact, it is being estimated that we are only one-tenth of the way through this pandemic, and by “flattening the curve” we have actually extended the economic pain. You see, the truth is that most Americans are going to end up catching this virus one way or another. All of the “shelter-in-place” orders have temporarily slowed down the spread of this coronavirus, but once they are lifted it is inevitable that we will see new waves of people becoming infected. And if you think that a vaccine will be the golden ticket that gets us out of this mess, you might want to reconsider that belief, because there has never been a successful vaccine for any coronavirus. Of course it is possible that scientists could come up with something this time around, but if the virus mutates significantly that could render any potential vaccine absolutely useless.

In the days ahead, there will be a tremendous amount of debate about the correct way to fight this virus, but meanwhile the U.S. economy will continue to deteriorate.

New Species Could Explain Origins of Hawaiian Endemic Fish

A new species of tiny fish known as the Suspiria blenny was recently discovered by a University of Hawaii at Manoa researcher. Its geographic origins and how its sister species, the Hawaiian endemic blenny, arrived in Hawaiian waters was identified in a recent study by Mykle Hoban, a Hawaii Sea Grant graduate fellow and PhD candidate at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, and Jeffrey Williams at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.

Hoban first collected the new species of fish on Kiritimati Island in the Republic of Kiribati. He decided to name the species Cirripectes matatakaro, which means “big eyes and burning coals” in the i-Kiribati language. Cirripectes matatakaro is most closely related to the Hawaiian endemic blenny Cirripectes vanderbilti.

NJ Governor on “Stay at Home” Orders: “I Wasn’t Thinking of the Bill of Rights”

Politicians have started to admit that they don’t take basic human rights into account when barking commands they expect people to follow. If this isn’t more evidence that we should nullify their commands by going about our business and ignoring their insistence on tyranny, then I don’t what is.

Politicians are stopping at nothing to force authoritarian controls over the masses. New Jersey governor admitted to Tucker Carlson that he did not take basic human rights into account when proving himself a tyrant. On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) stated that he “wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights” when he implemented his state’s stay-at-home order, but that he did consult with legal counsel, according to a report by Breitbart.

Legality and morality are two different things. Just because something is legal doesn’t necessarily mean its right and just because something is right does not necessarily mean it’s legal. The sooner Americans realize this and take their power back from these tyrants, the sooner we will be free as humans were always intended to be.

No, We Are Not “All in This Together”…

Collectivist people will applaud the vast expansion of government power and control because within their cult religion government is god. To them, the pandemic is not a curse but a blessing, because it gives them a rationale to take part in a grand subjugation of other people and feel the power they have always wanted to feel. These are the people with inherent narcissistic and sociopathic traits within our culture. They represent only 1% to 5% of the total population, but they are predatory and single-minded in their goal to control others and feed off the world like parasites.

These people are not always elites. In fact, most of them are just like you and me in terms of status and income. In times of great crisis, these creatures tend to rise to the surface and reveal themselves. They feel particularly energized within environments that fuel tyranny; they love the feeling of power and will exploit crisis events as an excuse to act as evil as they always wanted to but could not during normal times. Take for example Doctor John Rademaker in Louisville, Kentucky who attacked a group of girls and tried to strangle one of them for “not social distancing”. Once we consider the fact that by attacking the girls he was also breaking social distancing guidelines, it becomes clear that people like this don’t actually care about their own rules, they only care that OTHER PEOPLE follow those rules.

They want to be the observers like the Soviet Cheka. They know will never be at the top of the power totem pole, so they ride the coattails of tyranny and feed on whatever scraps of power they can get.

The Global Elites

This is a tiny group of creatures that benefit the most from the pandemic crisis. Through this disaster they will be able to absorb vast amounts of hard assets for pennies on the dollar, devouring wealth and property from the middle class and changing the entire economy into something unrecognizable. The elites don’t want your property and wealth simply because they are greedy; they want your property and wealth because they don’t want YOU to have any. They want to end the concept of private property for all time, for without property and the ability to accumulate wealth through our labors the masses are always dependent on the government for their survival.

Beyond this, the ultimate goal of the elites is a one-world cashless society, as well as a one-world government. Already, the US Senate is considering a bill that would create a digital dollar and a digital wallet system to replace paper currency. Other nations have begun going cashless, and the coronavirus is being used as an excuse to speed up the process. The UN’s World Health Organization has specifically called for going cashless as well. Once the public is trapped into a digital system, they will never be able to trade without using the banks as the middle-men, and all transactions will be tracked. Nothing will be private ever again, and with the push of a button what little wealth you are allowed to accumulate can be frozen within the new socialist control culture. You will be at the mercy of the government and the banks.

What Will You Do if They Try to Extend Coronavirus Lockdowns Into Next Year?

We are seeing a massive backlash against the coronavirus lockdowns all over the United States, and it is likely that the protests against these lockdowns will only intensify in the days ahead. But some elected officials are doubling down and are insisting that “shelter-in-place” orders will remain in effect in their jurisdictions for quite a few months to come. I honestly do not know how that is possibly going to work, because after just a few weeks millions upon millions of Americans have become deeply frustrated with these lockdowns. Trying to confine people to their homes for the foreseeable future is likely to spark tremendous explosions of anger, but that appears to be exactly what authorities intend to do in some of our largest urban areas. For example, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio just told Fox News that he expects his city will be shut down until July or August…

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio joined Bill Hemmer today on FOX News Channel.

The mayor told Hemmer he does not expect New York City to open until July or August.

Does he honestly believe that New York City residents will put up with being confined to their homes for another three or four months?

Canada Now Teaching Children How to Run Interference for China

A media company owned by the government of Canada is teaching children how to combat misinformation about COVID-19 using the outlet’s own reporting, while seemingly ignoring mounting evidence that the novel coronavirus leaked from a Wuhan-area biolab.

In the example used by the CBC, a dad texts a link to an internet article claiming that COVID-19 was manufactured in a Chinese lab. The CBC suggests sending family members to a “legitimate” site, which in this case happens to be the CBC itself.

What’s the Difference Between Fake News & Hypernormalisation?

Before the current Coronavirus pandemic, the Canadian government took delivery of the Broadband Telecom Legislative Review. The 235-page report offered 97 recommendations for revamping internet and broadcasting oversight, most of them bad ones. Among them were provisions for requiring all content creators to obtain a license for operating from the government and “discoverability provisions” to force major tech platforms to emphasize “credible sources of news” over others (what the government calls “Approved Media”).

I wrote an article about it at the time and tabled a petition into the House of Commons to call on the government to reject BTLR in it’s entirety (still open, so please sign and share). More recently the Internet Society Canada Chapter (of which I’m a board member) submitted a point-for-point critique of the framework (it’s not on the site yet, will link when it is).

Shortly after that the government-funded CBC marshalled a gaggle of “Approved Media” in Canada (no doubt one of entities who will receive part of that $600,000,000 subsidy package announced in the run up to the last election) to call forth the government to legislate “trusted sources” of news….

If you’re with me so far, the logic flows like this:

School frightens him now. Earlier this year, a cleric at the religious school he faithfully attended in the southern Punjab town of Pakpattan took him into a washroom and tried to rape him. Muhimman’s aunt, Shazia, who wanted only her first name used, said she believes the abuse of young children is endemic in Pakistan’s religious schools. She said she has known the cleric, Moeed Shah, since she was a little girl and describes him as an habitual abuser who used to ask little girls to pull up their shirts.

Hindu Family in Karachi Threatened to be Killed if They Refuse to Convert to Islam

HJS Media | New Delhi | April 17, 2020:: Even a pandemic of the scale and extent of Wuhan coronavirus has not deterred radical Maulvis in Pakistan from intimidating and browbeating minorities into converting to Islam. Recently, Islamist fundamentalists forced a Hindu family in Karachi to embrace Islam as the menace of coronavirus sweeps Pakistan.

A Hindu family in Karachi was attacked amidst coronavirus lockdown in Pakistan on April 12, 2020, for refusing Islam. The case is from PIA township in Karachi where a Maulvi named Usman teamed up with the Hindu family’s neighbour named Shahid to assault the minorities for their denial to accept Islam.

Basant Kumar, a Hindu and his mother were also threatened to be killed if they disobeyed the order. The incident was narrated by Basant’s brother in a video. He alleged that 4-5 Muslim evangelists had threatened and attacked them to convert to Islam. In the video, the man claims that the matriarch of their house was grabbed and slapped by Maulana Usman, repeatedly asking her to read Kalama and embrace Islam.

The man in video claims that his brother Basant Kumar and their mother were beaten up by Maulana Usman. He adds that after thrashing his mother, Usman asked her to read Kalama, an important religious obligation to embrace Islam. A skull cap of the attacker, Maulana Usman, can be seen on the floor of the house of the Hindu family.

The man in the video further claims that despite the lockdown amidst the coronavirus, Maulana Usman, Maulvi Shahid and others have been defying the restrictions and offering namaz at the terrace of their building. However, belonging to the Hindu community and given the treatment meted out to minorities in their country, the Hindu family did not file a complaint against the illegal gathering by the Muslim clerics to offer namaz.

Basant’s brother also alleged that three days earlier a scuffle broke out between the same Maulana and Basant when the religious zealot had asserted that he will settle the scores with the family soon. Nonetheless, an FIR has been lodged in this matter by the Karachi police and investigation is underway.

Pakistan is notoriously known for its persecution of not only religious minorities but also ethnic minorities within their own country. The forceful conversion programmes have often been unleashed against the minorities especially Christians, Sikhs and Hindus living in Pakistan with utmost brutality. Therefore, minorities in Pakistan live under perpetual fear of persecution at the hands of Muslim fundamentalists who enjoy state patronage and support. Minorities are also wary of the cruel ‘blasphemy’ laws that are often used as an instrument of subjugation by the radical Muslim majority…

Around the World, Coronavirus “Fake News” Arrests Are Mounting

The collective opportunistic nature of governments that has followed the COVID-19 outbreak has reached such extremes that in at least 38 countries, more than 300 individuals have been arrested, who by different means have spread what the authorities consider to be false information.

The fight against COVID-19 has not been limited to the health system. Limiting information has also been a part of how the pandemic is tackled.

In many cases, governments have decided to implement measures that control and penalize those who spread information that comes from unofficial sources.

New Wave of Infections Threatens to Collapse Japan Hospitals

TOKYO (AP) — Hospitals in Japan are increasingly turning away sick people as the country struggles with surging coronavirus infections and its emergency medical system collapses.

In one recent case, an ambulance carrying a man with a fever and difficulty breathing was rejected by 80 hospitals and forced to search for hours for a hospital in downtown Tokyo that would treat him. Another feverish man finally reached a hospital after paramedics unsuccessfully contacted 40 clinics.

Coronavirus: WHO Director Has a Long History of Cover-Ups

The director general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, is facing increased scrutiny over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected more than two million people around the world and killed at least 150,000.

Adhanom, who goes by the name Tedros, is an Ethiopian microbiologist who, with the help of China, began a five-year term as head of the WHO in July 2017. He has been accused of misrepresenting the severity and spread of the coronavirus in an attempt to pander to China.

The historical record shows that Tedros, the first African and the first non-physician to lead the WHO, has a long history of covering up epidemics and human rights abuses in Ethiopia, where he served as the minister of health and minister of foreign affairs.

The Wildlands Project and the Biodiversity Treaty — Agenda 21

So many issues about the Wildlands Project and Agenda21 have come up recently. I decided that, instead of trying to recap and explain, I would give it to you from one of the world’s leading experts.

[…]

On June 29, 1994, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved the ratification of the Convention on Biological Diversity (Biodiversity Treaty) by a vote of 16 to 3. Only Senators Helms, Pressler, and Coverdell voted no. Three months later, on September 30, Senate Majority Leader, George Mitchell, for the second and final time, withdrew the Convention from the Senate calendar.

The Treaty was never voted on, and now languishes in the bowels of government awaiting the arrival of a more friendly Senate. The defeat of the Treaty in the 103rd Congress came as a stunning victory for the private property rights and natural resource providers community, and was an astonishing defeat for the administration and its army of environmental organizations which had carefully orchestrated what it thought was certain ratification. The events that led to the defeat of the Treaty have been grossly misreported by the environmental community and by the mainstream press. Here is an accurate account of the events as they occurred, compiled from the records of many of the people who were in the forefront of the battle.

    • to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if the western governments, paid and lobbied through and through by the Bill Gateses and the like, pushed some dirty untested and dangerous vaccine just to make money, by law, on the western people…

…and then, when the vaccinated westerners would become autistic nuts of auto-immune diseases… from the dirty vaccine… And the only healthy people remaining would be the unvaccinated migrant masses… and the westerners would become undone.

it would make quite a story, if I were into catastrophic story telling 🙂

  1. In Tajikistan, doctors are made to buy protective suits, glasses and even pampers at their own expense

Doctors of the Karabolo hospital in Dushanbe complain that they are forced to buy special protective suits – plastic overalls and glasses at their own expense for 200 somoni (about $ 20) and prepare to receive patients infected with coronavirus. The doctors of this hospital were also demanded at their own expense to stock up enough diapers to work under the conditions of the alleged quarantine. Meanwhile, Lola Yakubova, a lawyer from the Sughd region, said on Facebook that in some parts of the north of Tajikistan doctors were forced to buy special suits and glasses for 150 somoni. This information was confirmed by doctors from the Spitamen district.

    ====================
Valentina Ignatenko, deputy head of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnodar Territory, chastised doctors for the lack of shoe covers and the reluctance to sew them on their own during a coronavirus pandemic during an online conference with doctors from regional hospitals.
“What is the difficulty to sew shoe covers? Of course, I understand Tyvek suits, or face masks, or goggles, or respirators … Aren’t you ashamed? Why are you waiting for manna from heaven? ” – Ignatenko was indignant, obviously, referring to the “manna from heaven” individual means of protection.

According to the official, to make shoe covers on their own is not at all difficult – “sew two rags.” Ignatenko even provided instructions on how to act in such a situation: “Take any fabric, plant two or three nurses who will stitch you. Now the people are sitting at home, there is nothing to do. ”

At the end of her speech, the official shamed the doctors of the central district hospital of Ust-Labinsk for bringing protective suits to dentists. Whether it is necessary for doctors to sew costumes on their own, Ignatenko did not specify, but added that for a thousand rubles any woman “sews” if she “knows how to sew, a dressmaker.”

Earlier, the authorities of the Perm Territory called on residents to sew medical masks themselves due to their shortage. According to Lev Gershank, deputy head of the regional administration, masks can be made of gauze, bandage and a piece of fabric. He added that this way citizens will be able to protect themselves and loved ones, and also said that “a four-layer mask is no worse than a standard disposable mask.”
