The Dow Just Tumbled Into a Bear Market — Here’s How Long Those Downturns Last on Average

It’s the end of a bullish era for the stock market and the beginning of a new phase of bearishness, after a sharp plunge for risk assets on Wednesday pushed the Dow Jones Industrial Average into bear-market territory for the first time in more than a decade.

U.S. equity indexes on Wednesday mostly resumed a downtrend that saw all three major U.S. equity gauges touch bear-market territory, commonly defined as a decline of at least 20% from a recent peak. The declines deepened after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19, the infectious disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China, in December, a pandemic.

Another Professor Caught Shilling for China

A former West Virginia University professor accused of taking fake paternity leave to work for the Chinese government has pleaded guilty to fraud charges.

According to the Department of Justice, former WVU professor James Patrick Lewis has admitted to convincing the university to grant him paid leave so that he could work for the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He had been recruited into the “Global Experts 1000 Talents Plan,” just like many other prominent American professors, including head of Harvard chemistry research, Charles Lieber, who is currently being prosecuted for his own alleged Chinese ties. Lieber’s alleged ties include being paid $1.5 million by the Chinese to build a laboratory in Wuhan, China, which is believed to be the origin of the coronavirus.

Bolsheviks in the Boardroom

Having been stymied and frustrated by a President and Congress which have “failed to act” on several cherished Globalist initiatives, the seditious serpents of the Left have been advancing their relentless attack on liberty and sanity on a new front — through a coalition of millennial-aged “diverse” SJW’s (Social Justice Warriors), deluded females and older gutless “baby-boomer” cowards who now populate, and in a growing number of cases, dominate much of “Corporate America.” Sadly, this summary of the effectiveness and potential of this fiendishly clever scheme to essentially deputize the corporations as unelected / unaccountable / untouchable commissars for the Leftist Mafia is, as the increasingly censored and harassed RHC / The Anti-NY Times can personally attest to, not exaggerated. Let’s review and analyze a few excerpts:

The Slimes: After mass shootings, including one in a Walmart in El Paso, Walmart’s chief executive, Doug McMillon, announced that his company would stop selling ammunition for military-style assault rifles, remove handguns from stores in Alaska — the only Walmarts still carrying them — and ask armed people in open-carry states to stay out of its stores.

Analysis: The intimidation of Walmart (now we know what the true purpose of staging the hoax shooting in a Walmart was!) amounts to a direct assault on the 2nd Amendment — without technically violating the 2nd Amendment because it is a “private” entity that is restricting freedom, not the government. This same back-door totalitarian approach is what got so many books banned (including four from your favorite author here) from Amazon in 2017 and Invisible Critic videos banned from Google / YouTube in early 2020 — both outrageous assaults on freedom which, technically speaking, do not violate the 1st Amendment guarantee of free speech.

The Slimes: “It’s clear to us that the status quo is unacceptable,” Mr. McMillon said in a statement.

Analysis: Mr. McMillon, you are a gutless pussy. Your $20 million annual compensation affords you unlimited armed protection which you would deny to your law-abiding customers in order to get a few vocal Communists like the obsessive Walmart-basher Bolshevik Bernie Sanders off your back.

The Slimes: The leaders of 145 other big American companies, including Levi Strauss, Royal Caribbean Cruises and Bain Capital, published an open letter to the Senate last week pressing for new gun laws.

Analysis: This is a truly disturbing development — and one that will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to stop by government action. How long will it be before banks stop lending or accepting deposits from gun manufacturers or “hate groups?” PayPal too has dumped yours truly.

The Slimes: On a wide range of issues, including gun safety, environmental sustainability and the treatment of workers, corporations have lately been making a point of doing more than they are required to do by law.

Analysis: Unfortunately, ‘The Editorial Board” is right. This trend is spreading like a cancer — partially because brainwashed and libtarded Generation X and Millennial morons are reaching upper tiers of management now, and partly because so many mushy-minded females and money-minded beta males haven’t got the stuff to to tell the vocal Left to go blank themselves.

The Slimes: In some cases …. companies are under pressure from customers and shareholders …

Analysis: “Under pressure” is a euphemism for organized harassment. And the more that these corporate clowns and cowards give in, the more aggressive the gun-grabbbing, homosexual, cross-dressing, environmentalist Left will become. It has been said that Lenin once quipped: “The capitalists will sell us the rope we use to hang them with.”

Breaking: Chelsea Manning Attempts Suicide in Jail

Chelsea Manning, the former military intelligence officer who leaked a series of diplomatic wires to WikiLeaks, attempted suicide in prison on Wednesday, her lawyers reveal. Manning’s legal team, led by Moira Meltzer-Cohen, told The Daily Beast that Manning was taken to hospital and is currently recovering from the attempt.

The WikiLeaks leaker was previously convicted by court martial to 35 years in prison in July 2013 for espionage and other offences for leaking hundreds of thousands of classified and other sensitive documents to Julian Assange’s WikiLeaks organization, which published the materials on the Internet, including highly classified embassy cables that threw American diplomacy into disarray. President Obama later commuted her sentence, releasing her in 2017.

Broken Boeing Airplanes Are Going to the Military Thanks to Corruption and Bad Decisions

It’s scandalous that Boeing was forgiven so many past screw-ups that now the Air Force has to beg it to fix the dysfunctional planes the company’s delivering.

The 737 Max isn’t Boeing’s only airplane that suffers from malfunctions. Its new aerial refueling tanker — the type of plane that makes it possible for the Air Force’s aircraft to traverse long distances while being based a safe distance away from enemy attacks — is also riddled with problems.

And yet, the Pentagon earmarked $2.85 billion in the 2020 budget for 15 Boeing aircraft it can’t use — while retiring 29 refueling tankers that still work fine to free up resources for the new planes. With military leaders headed to Capitol Hill this week to testify about their budget priorities for 2021, lawmakers need to hold them accountable for the decision. U.S. Air Force and Boeing dignitaries gather during a delivery celebration of the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus aerial refueling tanker to the U.S. Air Force in Everett, Washington U.S. Air Force and Boeing officials gather during a delivery celebration of the Boeing KC-46 Pegasus aerial refueling tanker to the U.S. Air Force in Everett, Wash., on Jan. 24, 2019.Lindsey Wasson / Reuters

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein recently admitted that the Boeings have “profound problems” and are not yet suitable for “day-to-day operations.” Yet the planes that refuel the Air Force’s bombers, fighters, surveillance and cargo planes in mid-air are in near-constant demand, and are frequently called upon to do double-duty as cargo planes themselves.

Harvey Weinstein Sentenced to 23 Years for Sexual Assaults

NEW YORK (AP) — Harvey Weinstein was sentenced Wednesday to 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault, a sight the Hollywood mogul’s multitude of accusers thought they would never see.

Weinstein, who has been accused of violating scores of women, was convicted last month of raping a woman in a New York City hotel room in 2013 and forcibly performing oral sex on another woman at his apartment in 2006. He faced a maximum of 29 years in prison.

Both women that Weinstein was convicted of assaulting — a once-aspiring actress and a former TV and film production assistant — spoke in court Wednesday before Judge James Burke announced the sentence, confronting Weinstein again after their testimony helped seal his conviction at the landmark #MeToo trial.

HHS Secretary Alex Azar Destroys NBC Hack and Liberal Media on Availability of COVID-19 Test Kits (Video)

During questioning the NBC reporter Geoff Bennett accused the administration of not supplying COVID-19 test kits to medical facilities.

Reporter Geoff Bennett: So when can the American people expect to see these test kits available at doctor’s offices and urgent care clinics?

HHS Secretary Alex Azar: By the end of this weekend we had 1.1 million test kits that originally shipped. We have another one million that are either in transit or waiting for orders. So we actually have a surplus capacity already that have been produced… The tests are out there. The tests are in every public health lab in the country. They’re in hospitals. They’re in labs. But I think there is a false premise in your question. Which is a notion that just because I as a person can say, “Oh, I’d like to be tested for the novel coronavirus.” I should be walking into any minute clinic or any other facility and just walking in and saying, “Give me my test.” That’s not how diagnostic testing works in the United States or frankly almost any place in the world… We’ve always been clear if their doctor or public health physician believes they should be tested it needs to always be clinically indicated to receive a test.

And with that Secretary Azar destroyed ANOTHER liberal media lie.

Hunter Biden Reaches Settlement in Child Support Case After Court Denies Latest Delay Attempt

Lawyers for Hunter Biden reached a final child support settlement with the Arkansas mother of his child late Tuesday night after a judge blasted the former vice president’s son for his repeated attempts to delay the case, likely avoiding the release of financial documents that could expose his business dealings abroad.

Biden’s lawyers on Tuesday argued he would be unable to attend scheduled hearings this week, citing the approaching due date of his pregnant wife, “intense media scrutiny” caused by his father Joe Biden’s presidential bid, and travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus. The claims were rejected by Arkansas circuit judge Holly Meyer, who admonished Biden, the defendant in the case, for his repeated attempts to delay the case.

If Just One Man Defies Tyranny, Freedom Still Lives

Many ask, how could we possibly unravel the millions of laws that have been passed in the last 100 years that have tightened the government noose around our necks? After all, we must take care of the sick, the aged, the infirmed and all the able-bodied men and women (including illegal aliens) that line up at the government pig trough. So what if our Constitution never listed or allowed such an action as an authorized power of government. The Constitution is essentially dead anyhow …. isn’t it!

And now that the environment has become an inviolate religion, how can we even consider undoing the propaganda, lies and distortions that are being crammed into the heads of consenting adults by the media, as well as the innocent minds of our K-12 school and college-age children? Certainly, it is quite apparent to almost everyone that protecting the environment is much more important than complying with all those ancient, antiquated principles of freedom and property rights, in our dying or dead constitution …………. isn’t it?

Oh contraire! If we do not roll back the insanities and the injustices that have eroded our liberty and freedom, or their memories, we will eventually die and henceforth, never to rise again, being replaced by a top-down, elite-run, tyrannical, one-world-order socialists and communists. We will become the incarnation of the Old Soviet Union.

Minnesota Families Stand Up Against CPS Child Kidnapping

Plaintiffs sue for civil rights violations and to stop CPS from serial abuse of families in historic lawsuit.

A group called Stop Child Protection Services from Legally Kidnapping Children (SCPSLKC) brought a civil rights lawsuit against state and county agencies in Minnesota who enforce child protection laws.

Plaintiffs in the historic lawsuit are suing “for civil rights violations and to stop child protection services from serial abuse of families.”

The group, comprised of over 9,500 parents, claims, “Minnesota’s child protection laws are unconstitutionally vague and overbroad, triggering unnecessary investigations and putting children at risk for being removed from their homes unnecessarily based on mere allegations and social worker discretion.”

The suit is historic because it’s the first in U.S. history to challenge the statutory definition of a Child in Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS).

SCPSLKC founder Dwight Mitchell selected one group member to focus their efforts on, provided free legal aid services to them and won their inaugural case against Minnesota Child Protection Services on September 11, 2018.

After CPS unnecessarily removed Amanda Webber’s son from her home when he was only 10-months old and held him in foster care for four months, a judge ruled “disinformation” was used against Webber.

“The lawsuit details how Minnesota’s child protection standards illegally put children in the category of ‘child in need of protection or services’ and place them in foster homes,” according to a press release.

The lawsuit also details the racial impact of “child kidnapping,” explaining Native American children are 17.6 times more likely to be taken by the government while those who identify as two or more races are 4.8 times more likely and African-American children are over 3.1 times more likely to be abducted by CPS.

MIT Scientist Claims Coronavirus is a “Deep State Fraud”

Says hysteria is being fueled to manipulate financial markets.

MIT scientist Shiva Ayyadurai claims that coronavirus “fear mongering” is a “Deep State fraud” to manipulate financial markets.

Ayyadurai, who is noted for his controversial claim to be the “inventor of email,” has a PhD in Biological Engineering and is running as a Republican in the 2020 U.S. Senate election in Massachusetts.

Responding to President Donald Trump’s claim that Democrats and the media are responsible for inflaming the coronavirus scare “far beyond what the facts would warrant,” Ayyadurai agreed that the panic was being overblown for political and economic reasons.

“As an MIT PhD in Biological Engineering who studies & does research nearly every day on the Immune System, the #coronavirus fear mongering by the Deep State will go down in history as one of the biggest fraud to manipulate economies, suppress dissent, & push MANDATED Medicine!” tweeted Ayyadurai.

Psychologist: Big Tech Will Use “Subliminal Methods” To Shift 15 Million Votes on Election Day

Warns it will cost Trump the election.

Psychologist Robert Epstein says that Big Tech is planning to use “subliminal methods” in the upcoming election that could shift up to 15 million votes and cost Trump the presidency.

After the 2016 presidential election, Epstein surmised that search engine bias shifted 2-3 million votes in Hillary Clinton’s favor, and he warns that the number in 2020 could be five times that amount.

The author says that Google and other social media giants “can shift opinions and votes in numerous ways that people can’t detect” via “a wide variety of subliminal methods of persuasion that can, in minutes, shift the voting preferences of 20 percent or more of undecided voters without anyone having the slightest idea they’ve been manipulated.”

A leak of Google emails to the Wall Street Journal back in 2018 already exposed how Google engineers had sought to investigate how they could manipulate a user’s “ephemeral experiences” to change their mind on the Trump travel ban.

While many Britons may be pleased with aspects of the new budget, such as the petrol duty freeze and the increase in the income tax threshold, they may be less happy to hear about increased levies in other areas and more spending.

Italy: Arthritis Drug Seems to Work on the Coronavirus — Doctor

Naples doctor calls for use of medicine to be extended

(ANSA) — Rome, March 11 — A commonly used arthritis drug has shown “excellent results” in two coronavirus patients and a national protocol for its extensive use against the virus should be drawn up, oncologist Paolo Ascierto of Naples’ Pascale Hospital said Wednesday. The drug, tocilizumab, “has shown it is effective against pneumonia caused by COVID-29,” he said. One of the two patients will be taken off life support Thursday because of the improvement in his condition, Ascierto said.

He called for a “national protocol to immediately extend the use of tocilizumab in an emergency that has killed 631 people and infected over 10,000 in Italy”.

Ascierto said the hospital had started treating two other patients with the virus on Tuesday and will begin treating another two Wednesday.

Scientists Warn About Dangerous “Tipping Point” Where COVID-19 Goes From Mild to Deadly

As researchers, doctors and epidemiologists spend more time studying the coronavirus under a microscope, as well as in the 100k+ infections that have yielded reams of useful data, a troubling trend has emerged: researchers have identified a “tipping point” at which the virus goes from dangerous to deadly in extremely susceptible patients.

According to research, while many patients experience nothing more than a mild cold, one in seven patients develops difficulty breathing and other “severe” complications, while 6% become critically ill and require hospitalization to stabilize their condition, risking death if they can’t receive the highest level of care.

Patients in these life-threatening situations typically suffer from respiratory and other vital system failures, according to the report by a team of WHO researchers delivered last month. Sometimes, sufferers can even experience sceptic shock.

Since roughly 10-15% of mild-to-moderate patients progress to this next severe state, it’s important for hospitals and doctors to understand which patients are at highest risk of a worsening infection so they can factor this into their risk assessments and direct resources and attention accordingly. Because of these 10-15%, 15% to 20% of that group may progress to critically severe infection stage requiring the highest level of attention and care to save a life.

Patients at highest risk include people at age 60 and older and those with pre-existing conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Supreme Court Allows Donald Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ To Stay in Place Until Lawsuit Challenging Ban on Asylum Seekers Entering U.S. Fully Plays Out

The Supreme Court on Wednesday said it would allow the Trump administration to continue enforcing a policy that makes asylum-seekers wait in Mexico for U.S. court hearings, despite lower court rulings that the policy probably is illegal.

The justices’ order, over a dissenting vote by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, overturns a lower court order that would have blocked the policy, at least for people arriving at the border crossings in Arizona and California.

The high court action came a day before the lower court order was to have taken effect.

Instead, the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy will remain in force while a lawsuit challenging it plays out in the courts.

Cashing in on Cancel Culture: ‘The Hunt’ Proves Hollywood is Mastering Marketing Self-Pity Using Trump

After supposedly being canceled partly thanks to critical tweets from the president, ‘The Hunt’ is back with a marketing campaign built entirely around its controversy, and friendly media is gushing over it.

The violent nature of the film made some uncomfortable to promote it in the wake of mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. Networks like ESPN pulled ads. What really made the movie stand out though was its blatantly political nature.

Reports about the script revealed characters using words like “deplorables” to describe the people they’re hunting, and the original trailer for the movie almost feels like Twitter brought to life with guns and blood, one political side pitted against the other.

Lawsuit: Wisconsin Schools Had ‘Secret’ Plan to Turn Kids ‘Trans’ Without Parental Consent

Some Wisconsin Schools allow for children of any age to have gender transition recognized

A Wisconsin School District has kicked off a legal storm after it was revealed that schools permitted children of any age to have their gender transition recognized, including any name change, without parental consent or even alerting parents of their child’s identity.

  1. I would not believe the news from Russia about the coronavirus. These propaganda scum always lie.

  2. Yesterday at UK column news, they said some interesting things about the coronavirus: Mainly that the side effect of vaccines against the Flu is so called “Viral interference”, which means that cells infected by “a virus” display immunity against other infections.

The funny thing is, when you duck duck go (because google doesn’t seem to cut the mustard on this matter), one can find articles like this: And I quote:

“Receiving influenza vaccination may increase the risk of other respiratory viruses, a phenomenon known as virus interference… Vaccine derived virus interference was significantly associated with coronavirus and human metapneumovirus.”
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31607599

What the internet sources seem to be saying (because there seems to be a sort of confusion what “viral interference really is?”) – is that your common flu actually protects you against other diseases, like the “coronaviruses”. Being vaccinated against the flu can actually make you vulnerable further down the road.

The UK column news where I found the first info about this, some 10 minutes in:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vtGVMj6MCs

    • Thanks, Barn Swallow; now I’m even more confused (not your fault!) Here in the UK, people of my advanced age (almost 72) get a free ‘flu vaccination every autumn (fall); I qualify twice, as I’m on immune suppressants for a pre-existing condition, which led to my spending a week in hospital with ‘flu a few years back.

More broadly, without (I hope) getting into a broader debate about socialised medicine, from this side of the pond it seems incredible that US residents must still pay for a coronavirus test; the poor people who can’t afford to pay are not physically segregated from the rest, and quite likely to be working in low-paid jobs, often in food catering and takeaways.

    • Well … I came to the US from Europe where I never had flu vaccination; same here, nothing in the last 20+ years. Never contracted flu. My dad is 88+, never had a flu.

Can I get this Wuhan virus? Absolutely. Is it gonna be bad? Only god knows …

  3. “‘Savage’ Woman is Jailed for Stabbing Her Therapy Cat Ginger 20 Times and Then Throwing Her Body Out the Window — Because She Was ‘Cute’” there’s only one fair sentence for animal abusers: eye-for-eye!

    • this is bad news for Iranians, good news for the rest of the world.
And I have heard and read that the vaccine is in the making in Israel. I will try to post a link here later on.

  4. Russia = Iran = Obscurantism.

Dear brothers and sisters! Do not be afraid of any coronaviruses! Moreover, I’m still not sure that this coronavirus exists at all. Perhaps there is an information horror story to control the obedient masses. But even if it exists, feel free to go to the temple and partake of the Holy Gifts. And remember that in the Church of God at the Holy Chalice of Christ, which is rightly called “the healing of immortality”, neither coronaviruses, nor any other diseases are terrible for you. In Moscow for the first time applied the search for illegal immigrants on digital tracks

For the first time last year, the Moscow prosecutor’s office took the opportunity to identify illegal migrants on digital tracks. About this in an interview with TASS said the prosecutor of the capital Denis Popov.

“As you know, the most important factor for labor migrants is the ability to transfer their earnings to their homeland. Therefore, together with Rosfinmonitoring, we have developed and put into practice a new methodology for identifying places of concentration of foreign citizens,” the prosecutor explained.

Rosfinmonitoring provided data on a quick money transfer system abroad. “We put information about the operating money transfer offices on the map of the city and determined the places of their concentration, which in many respects coincided with the construction and industrial facilities located nearby,” Popov said. So, the most frequent money transfers to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were in the southeast of the capital in Pechatniki and Lublino. A check in Pechatniki revealed a mini-town of migrants in the territory of one of the abandoned industrial bases where business was established. A cafe and a grocery store worked in an allegedly abandoned territory, migrants lived with their families there, and the business of repairing cars and sorting waste earned money.

“According to the results of the audit, more than 40 foreigners were detained and taken to the territorial police department. 17 of them were brought to administrative responsibility, and the prosecutor’s office initiated administrative proceedings against the employer organization,” the Moscow prosecutor said.

  6. Regarding border closures Hungary/Austria. Went over to Austria this morning, Austrian guard gave my identity card a careful look over, not the usual nod of the head to just drive on. Coming back however into Hungary the Hungarian police were in evidence for the first time in years at the crossing. Just waved me through although there were several camions pulled over and several police were putting on masks.
Asked him what’s going to happen next week and he just smiled and said who knows?
