A young man named Santino William Legan entered the Garlic Festival in Gilroy, California, and began shooting at people with a rifle. Three people were killed, including a 6-year-old boy, and fifteen others were wounded, before the gunman was shot dead by police. The shooter gained entrance to the festival by cutting through a chain-link fence, and is thought to have had an accomplice. Some critics blame President Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric for the shooting.
In other news, the credit card company Capital One announced that it has experienced a massive data breach, in which the personal data for more than 100 million cardholders or applicants was obtained by hackers.

A Rare Virus Spread by Mosquitoes Can Change Your Personality — and it’s Just Been Found in 5 States
Simply dealing with the itchiness after a mosquito bite is annoying enough, especially when you’ve been outside for a significant length of time and find yourself covered in itchy red dots. But it turns out people in several U.S. states have a lot more to worry about than some pesky itching.
According to health officials, a rare virus called eastern equine encephalitis virus, or EEE, that can cause brain damage has been found in New York, Massachusetts, Florida, South Carolina, and New Jersey.
The virus, spread by infected mosquitoes, has been confirmed in mosquitoes south of Boston, MA; mosquito pools about 20 miles north of Syracuse, NY; in the blood of sentinel chickens in Orange County, FL; in an Appaloosa colt in Chesterfield County, SC; and a 12-year-old vaccinated mare in Ocean County, NJ that was euthanized on July 23.
Thankfully EEE is rare and no human infections have been reported this year, but it is known to wreak havoc on livestock and can cause personality changes in humans who aren’t killed by the virus.

Baltimore’s Rat Problem is So Bad, Roads Are Collapsing

Baltimore’s rat problem is so bad that it is causing roads in the city to collapse, proving President Trump right when he said the city was a “rodent infested mess.”
After being labeled “racist” for calling Elijah Cummings’ Baltimore district a “rat and rodent infested mess,” Trump doubled down earlier today by drawing attention to the city’s crime problem.
“Baltimore, under the leadership of Elijah Cummings, has the worst Crime Statistics in the Nation. 25 years of all talk, no action! So tired of listening to the same old Bull.Next, Reverend Al will show up to complain & protest. Nothing will get done for the people in need. Sad!” he tweeted.
Trump is still getting heat for calling Baltimore “rat infested,” but it was Animal Planet that pointed out the city’s rat problem was so chronic, it is causing roads to collapse.
“Baltimore’s rat problem is bad enough that at one point, rats tunneled so intensely beneath a particular area of pavement that when garbage collectors drove over it, their truck sunk up to its axles,” reported the TV network. “Rats in the vicinity took full advantage of the mishap and swarmed the truck, gorging on the garbage inside.”
The network listed Baltimore number 3 on the “Top 10 Worst Rat Cities in the World.”

Capital One Data Breach: Arrest After Details of 100M US Individuals Stolen
The personal details of about 106 million individuals across the US and Canada were stolen in a hack targeting financial services firm Capital One, the company has revealed.
The announcement came after the alleged hacker was arrested on Monday.
According to Capital One, the data included names, addresses and phone numbers of people who applied for its credit card products.
But the hacker did not gain access to credit card account numbers, it said.

(NationalSentinel) It’s a phenomenon that we’ve been monitoring now for more than a year: There is a concerted effort by the growing Leftist/Marxist faction of the Democrat Party to create mass chaos in our biggest cities through implementation of policies that are neutering police.
What’s more, the end result is very likely to be mass walk-outs at police departments in our biggest cities, followed by periods of anarchy, leading to a permanent inability of these same cities to attract and hire enough cops to even put on the streets without major changes in policy and leadership.

In Philadelphia, meanwhile, a new prosecuting attorney who practices Saul Alinski’s “Rules for Radicals” rather than law enforcement is already creating conditions for long-term anarchy and rising crime barely a year into the job.
Gun-related crimes and other violent activities are already rising, thanks to DA Larry Krasner’s Left-wing ‘reforms’ whose primary objective is “is releasing criminals rather than prosecuting them,” writes James Schultz at the Philadelphia Inquirer.
And, of course, this is having a deleterious effect on the Philly police department.

Gun-related violent crime is rising in Philadelphia. The police force is demoralized. Victims of crimes, their families, and advocacy groups feel betrayed.

Former CIA Spook: “Deep State Wants Epstein Gone”
Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says there are big stories with big implications for America that are unfolding now.
One of the biggest earthquakes that is going off will be the high ranking Deep State elite surrounding convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein. Shipp says,

Another huge story unfolding is the investigation into the “hoax” and “witch hunt” of Russian collusion with President Trump that has now been totally disproven. The real story is how traitors in the U.S. government made up a crimes to frame the President, his campaign and his Administration. People high up in the Obama Administration committed massive crimes, only to fail badly in removing Trump from office. Kevin Shipp says,

The dollar will lose its value because of that. We have a huge debt, and by 2025, our deficit will be $30 trillion. It is impossible to pay that off. The global deficit is $245 trillion. This thing has got to burst, and it’s going to burst…

Rep. Ilhan Omar has stoked controversy by retweeting a violent ‘joke’ aimed at Senator Rand Paul.
Anti-Trump actor Tom Arnold tweeted in reference to the brutal attack on Paul in 2017 when his neighbor blindsided him while Paul was mowing his lawn and wearing noise-cancelling headphones.
The assault left the Kentucky Senator with five broken ribs. Although his attacker, Rene Boucher, was a registered Democrat, Boucher’s lawyer claimed there was no political motivation.

The Squad is offended because someone finally talked back. Even after some foul-mouthed attacks on the president of the United States, the Squad members thought they should be immune to criticism. That’s the problem: not the president’s pushback, but the Squad’s apparent belief that, because it comprises “people of color,” those people are immune to the rules that apply to everyone else.
That, unfortunately, has been the assumption for too long now. Minorities achieved legal equality in the 1960s, and they proceeded to claim the equivalent of reparations in the form of affirmative action, minority set-asides, preferential admissions based on race, and thousands of informal arrangements in the workplace granting preference in terms of evaluations and workload.
As minorities gained these preferences, some became more aggressive. Some version of the Squad’s tactic of calling out whites and daring them to talk back became commonplace across society. Many Americans have witnessed blacks stepping to the front of the line and expecting to be served first. Many have seen minorities promoted ahead of more experienced whites with the idea that minorities need to be “represented.” But what we see now is different. It is not just society helping out those who have been disadvantaged in the past. It is a form of aggressive prejudice against, disdain for, and potential violence against whites. As I see it, the Squad epitomizes this new stage in race relations.
It’s fortunate we have a president who recognizes what these women are about and is willing to stand up to them.

Mass Shooting at Gilroy, CA Garlic Festival, 3 Dead, 15 Wounded
One Suspect Has Been Shot and Killed, Another Is Reportedly On The Loose
NBC Bay Area News is reporting that four people (including a gunman) were killed, including 6-year-old Stephen Romero, and 15 were wounded Sunday as a gunman opened fire at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, California. One of the suspects was shot and killed, and a second suspect was still on the loose late Sunday, sources told NBC Bay Area.
President Trump tweeted about the horrific incident, telling people to “be careful and safe,” and reminded those in attendance that the shooter had not yet been found.
Two law enforcement sources tell CBS News one suspect, a white male, is dead. There was no word on who killed him or whether there were any other suspects at large.

The recent seismic activity in the state of California has taken a strange turn. According to the Los Angeles Times, there have been more than 80,000 earthquakes in the state since July 4th, and most of those quakes were aftershocks of the two very large events that hit the Ridgecrest area early in the month.
Over the past couple of weeks, however, a very unusual pattern has begun to emerge. We have started to see aftershocks creep toward two of the largest fault lines in southern California, and this is making seismologists very nervous. The fact that we are seeing aftershocks “approaching the Owens Valley fault” is definitely alarming, but of far more concern is the fact that the Ridgecrest aftershocks are also headed “toward the Garlock fault”. NASA’s Tess Satellite Discovered Three New Planets Right Next-Door
NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, affectionately called TESS, discovered three new worlds during its latest exploration.
The exoplanets are the smallest, nearest known to date and orbit a star that’s just 73 light-years away, which is pretty much just around the corner in cosmic terms, NASA and MIT announced Monday.
The star furthermost away also looks like it potentially supports some forms of life. Researchers say that the top of the planet’s atmosphere is within a temperature range that could potentially host some kind of lifeform; however, the planet’s atmosphere might make that feat impossible. Researchers say that the atmosphere is likely quite dense, which creates a “heat trap” on the planet’s surface, That ultimately might make it too hot to host water or life, at least the type of living organisms we know about.

One America News has sent Cease and Desist notices and demands for retraction to Rachel Maddow, MSNBC, The Daily Beast and its reporter Kevin Poulson over their claims that the network is a “paid Russian propaganda operation.” The notices to retract warned that if they do not comply with the conditions sent to them by August 15, 2019, they “will recommend that our client pursue all legal avenues to protect its interests, including damages and attorneys’ fees and costs incurred as a result of your actions.”
Miller Barondess, LLP, the law firm representing OAN, a pro-Trump right-wing network, wrote that Maddow and the others “maliciously slandered OAN” and asserted that they have never taken money from any foreign government, including Russia.

Please Break Up Facebook, Cofounder Asks Regulators
Facebook cofounder Chris Hughes isn’t just idly wondering if regulators might break up the tech behemoth he helped launch. He’s going on a personal tour, meeting with state and federal officials to lay out in detail the way he thinks it could be done.
Hughes has met with members of Congress, the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission, and the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James to make a detailed case arguing Facebook is too big for its own good, according to separate reports from The Washington Post and The New York Times.
The breakup tour went public in May, when Hughes penned a lengthy op-ed in The New York Times saying his former colleague Mark Zuckerberg wielded too much power. “I’m disappointed in myself and the early Facebook team for not thinking more about how the News Feed algorithm could change our culture, influence elections and empower nationalist leaders,” Hughes wrote at the time. “And I’m worried that Mark has surrounded himself with a team that reinforces his beliefs instead of challenging them.”

The Antifa member who attempted to chain a group of College Republicans in a room last month, leading to the conservatives performing a citizen’s arrest on him, will not face any charges for his actions. Ezra Benner, 18, was arrested after he attempted to lock the group in a room at the University of Washington-Seattle.
The incident took place while the College Republicans were hosting a speaker from the Operation Cold Front YouTube channel. A local Antifa group had been calling for disruption of the event on Facebook, urging people to attend with whistles or other noise makers so they could drown out the speaker.

A bi-partisan bill working its way through Congress could drastically change how copyright claims are processed, and would create a system to impose up to $30,000 in fines on anyone who shares protected material online.

Imagine my surprise when I turned on the radio while diving and heard a semi-male and several semi-females on NPR saying that the evidence wasn’t important. What was important was to impeach Trump. They and the NPR programers were completely willing to impeach the president without any evidence. The thing to do was to impeach Trump. Period. Evidence? We don’t need no stinkin’ evidence.
At this point the semi-genders declared that we must all stand together and prevent the dastardly Russians from interfering in Trump’s reelection campaign. One of the semi-gender somethings asked, accusingly, “why hasn’t Trump refused Russian help in his reelection?!”
Wow! Mueller’s collapse before questioning in the congressional committee had just established that there is no evidence whatsoever of Russian interference electing Trump. Yet the NPR news service thinks we must be on our guard or the Russians will elect Trump again! In what sense is NPR connected to reality? Indeed, are Americans connected to reality or are they locked tightly in The Matrix?

ROME — Local politicians and clergy honored the third anniversary of the death of the French priest Father Jacques Hamel, who was murdered by two jihadists while he was celebrating Mass.

Eyewitnesses needed medical treatment after seeing victim’s horrific death
An 8-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a high speed train when a man of “African descent” pushed him and his mother onto the tracks this morning at Frankfurt’s main station.
The mother was able to save her own life by rolling into the gap between the tracks, but lost hold of her son who was killed by the InterCity Express (ICE) train, which can travel at speeds up to 186mph.
A 40-year-old man was arrested after the incident. Police say there is no connection between the alleged perpetrator and the victims.
“The mother was barely able to save herself. Passersby watched the attack and ran after the fleeing man, of African descent. He was arrested in the station,” police told BILD. Other reports confimed the man was Eritrean.
Witnesses say the man attempted to push another person onto the tracks and that the station was “full of children.”

An eight-year-old boy has been killed by a train after a ‘stranger dressed in dark clothing’ pushed him and his mother from a platform in Germany.
Horrified witnesses say they saw the man push the child and his mother, 40, in front of a high speed InterCity Express at Frankfurt’s main station at about 10am.
The boy’s mother was able to save herself by rolling into a narrow gap between tracks, but she lost hold of her son who was fatally hit by the oncoming train.

Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Accused of “Creating a Kleptocratic Mafia State”

Macron’s France: Tourist Caught in Crossfire Among Three Dead in Gang Shooting
Two holidaymakers were among those shot in southern France on Sunday evening, one of them fatally, as local criminals exchanged fire at a popular coastal town.

UK: Muslim Parents Withdraw Children From ‘Non-Halal’ Flu Vaccine
British public health officials are concerned by the number of Muslim parents who could refuse to let their children receive the flu vaccine after the Muslim Council of Britain ruled the drug to be ‘non-halal’ and forbidden by Islam.

Young Swedish Woman Denied Bus Ride for Being “Not Properly Dressed”
Swedish woman Amanda, 19, boarded the local public bus in Skåne and registered her bus card when the driver suddenly called her back, saying he wanted to have a word with her. “You cannot walk dressed like that on our buses. Iran: Woman Stalked & Harassed for Not Wearing a Hijab
A video out of Iran shows a woman being stalked, filmed and harassed by a group of men for refusing to wear a hijab.
The video footage was posted to Twitter by Iranian activist Masih Alinejad, who described the men in the video as “pro-regime thugs.”
It shows three men, one of whom is wearing a helmet to disguise his identity, recording the woman on their phones.
“They say I have to wear it because it’s the law, they’ve been following me all along, they’re harassing me,” says the woman.

The protesters objected that the extradition law would violate that policy.

A group of over 100 people employed by the social media company are revolting against the liberal, politically intolerant culture. Brian Amerige, a senior engineer at Facebook, started the movement by criticizing the “monoculture” that plagues their offices last week. Since then, Facebook employees have formed a group called “FB’ers for Political Diversity.”

Ms Faith, a coach on the BBC’s The Voice UK programme who won Best British Female Solo Artist at the 2015 BRIT Awards, is from the London borough of Hackney, a solidly left-wing area which has been represented in Parliament by Labour’s controversialShadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott for some years.

Pete Buttigieg: Wrong About Religion, Homosexuality, And Abortion
Politicians have a constitutional right to be stupid, but Pete Buttigieg is taking advantage of that right. Pete is wrong about religion, abortion, and homosexuality. I don’t want someone with three major failures in the White House.
In a recent conversation with USA Today, Buttigieg characterized conservative Christians as “saying so much about what Christ said so little about, and so little about what he said so much about.” Pete was using the absence of evidence argument — i.e., since Christ didn’t prohibit perversion, then criticism of LGBTQ crowd is wrong. However, that is fallacious, since Christ didn’t speak about cannibalism, but I assume, though not sure, that Pete would not defend it. Pete is parroting the same silly, shallow argument that Christ’s words are more important than other Scripture, but that undercuts scriptural authority. If a statement is in the Bible, it is to be properly interpreted by the context.
If it is biblical, it doesn’t matter whether Christ said it or not. Moses and the Apostle Paul surely made it clear that perversion is an abnormality, an aberration, and an abomination.
Pete is said to be a “devoted” Episcopalian. I’m not sure if that means he goes to church three times a week, tithes, and says grace at every meal. Professor Gary Dorrien of Union Theological Seminary said, “In our time, the Episcopal Church is a generally progressive denomination that ordains gay and lesbian bishops, makes room for liberation theology.” The denomination wandered far into left field many years ago, as almost all groups do.
Their pews are empty, as are their offering plates, sure signs of coming death.

Study: Olympic Guidelines Give Transgender Women an ‘Intolerable’ Advantage in Women’s Sports
Biological males who identify as women have a distinct advantage in women’s sports that creates an “intolerable unfairness,” according to a recent studypublished in The Journal of Medical Ethics. While the study rightly admits a truth that has become anathema in the days of transgender orthodoxy, the authors attempt to redeem themselves by calling for the abolition of male and female categories in sports.
The study, performed by New Zealand researchers at the University of Otago in Dunedin, acknowledges that “the inclusion of elite trans women athletes in sport is controversial.” Bioethicists Taryn Knox, Lynley Anderson, and Alison Heather conclude that allowing males to compete in women’s sports at the high testosterone threshold established by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is unfair.

UK: Khan’s London: Police Investigating After Niqab Woman Filmed Abusing Gay Pride March
The Metropolitan Police are investigating after footage of a woman clad in an Islamic niqab abusing Gay Pride marchers as “despicable people” went viral on social media.
The footage, reportedly taken in Waltham Forest, north-east London, shows a woman clad from head to toe in a black niqab — a religious garment which leaves only a narrow slit for the eyes and is often erroneously described as a burqa, which substitutes the niqab’s slit for a fabric mesh, by much of the press — shouting “Shame on you! Shame on you!” at a middle-aged man wearing a rainbow flag as a cape.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a Pride marcher was verbally abused by a woman in a suspected hate crime in London.
Footage of the incident during the Waltham Forest Pride event showed a woman shouting at another woman draped in a rainbow LGBT+ flag.
“Shame on you,” she could be heard shouting. “God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.”
The story of Adam and Eve features in both Christian and Islamic faiths.
As the Pride march passed down the other side of the road, the woman wearing clothing commonly associated with female followers of Islam, repeatedly shouted: “Shame on you, shame on all of you. You despicable people, you shameless people.”

If You Thought Quantum Mechanics Was Weird, You Need to Check Out Entangled Time
In the summer of 1935, the physicists Albert Einstein and Erwin Schrödinger engaged in a rich, multifaceted and sometimes fretful correspondence about the implications of the new theory of quantum mechanics.
The focus of their worry was what Schrödinger later dubbed entanglement: the inability to describe two quantum systems or particles independently, after they have interacted.
Until his death, Einstein remained convinced that entanglement showed how quantum mechanics was incomplete. Schrödinger thought that entanglement was the defining feature of the new physics, but this didn’t mean that he accepted it lightly.
“I know of course how the hocus pocus works mathematically,” he wrote to Einstein on 13 July 1935. “But I do not like such a theory.”

This story has bugged me since I read the reports prior to any blindfold information was leaked to the media.
The way I read it, two young kids were in one city and were ripped off by a drug dealer and followed the drug dealer to another city, somehow. They attacked the drug dealer and stole his backpack and took his mobile phone and told him to come up with €100 if he wants his backpack and phone back.
This is where it gets fuzzy. So does this drug dealer go to the police and say two guys that I have been dealing drugs to just ripped me off, can you help me? Is this one of those dumb criminals stories? Why would a drug dealer approach the police?
Is there a business understanding between this particular police officer and the drug dealer, and they dealt with the kids that were holding the backpack and phone ransom as drug dealer and police muscle?
Did the police officer act as a police officer or as a business associate of the drug dealer?
The kids are screwed and rightfully so. Drug deals in foreign countries is just asking for trouble. Stabbing someone, anyone because you got burnt over €100 drug deal is senseless.

i do not think it is a story very worth to be told, but from what i understood:
2 american tourists (Elder Lee, Gabe Hjorth, 19s) were looking for cacaine at night in Rome (which is illegal both in Italy and USA). They found a drug “broker” (Sergio Brugiatelli 40s), who brought them to the drug seller. he made an agreement: 100€ for 1 gram of coke. The deal was done, but the coke was an aspirin instead. So the 2 tourists discovered it when the drug sale was already done. they stole the bag of the broker, and they ran away with it (or the broker maybe left the bag to them in exchange as a warranty while he was dealing the drug dose to the seller with their money). The broker ran after them but he could not get its bag back. Because all the happening was in central public place some police officers saw the running show and made typical police questioning to the broker who just said half of the story, that he was robbed of his own bag by north african people (which is also another crime, false declarations to the police). But they asked him to make the official call to central police (2 police call records have been put on the internet on the main italian newsmedia). The broker also called (his own number) the 2 tourists to ask for its bag back (his mobile phone was in the bag) while. The 2 very clever tourists, made an agreement (ransom) asking for 1 gram and 100€ in exchange for the bag, but they went to the meeting with a blade of 18cm in length. The police who were alerted before and were controlling the broker, then went to the meeting instead of the broker, with no uniforms (not to alert the 2 random ransomers and successful criminal wannabes). The 2 tourists killed police officer for a 100€ and a 1 gram of coke at the first fight. That is the end. Police officer (Mario Cerciello Rega, 30s) just married 1 month before his death.

The police then arrested in less the 12 hours the 2 tourists in a hotel which costs something like 200€ for night.
The italian newsmedia started useless complains on the rights of the criminal arrested for blindfolding one of them, then blaming for the rules of police officers, and so on, as usual, exchanging the victim and offender roles.
