Happy Independence Day, everybody!

Let’s hope the boom and bang doesn’t extend beyond the municipal fireworks this evening. Or the thunderstorms — we’re having one here at Schloss Bodissey right now.

The rockets’ red glare came early today in South Carolina when a fireworks store exploded.

If the Islamic State and/or the Antifas have their way, the bombs bursting in air will hold a different meaning. I haven’t heard of any parades or celebrations being bombed so far, but the day is still young…
