Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido, the president of the National Assembly, has been sworn in as interim president of Venezuela, theoretically replacing the dictator Nicolas Maduro. President Trump recognized Mr. Guaido as the legitimate head of state, prompting Mr. Maduro to cut diplomatic relations with the USA and expel American diplomats from the country. There has been violence in the streets as supporters of the opposition demonstrate against the regime, with some military units reportedly mutinying against Mr. Maduro.
In other news, four young men in upstate New York were arrested on charges of planning an attack with explosives and firearms on Islamberg, the headquarters of the Muslims of America and Jamaat ul-Fuqra.

3 Michigan Men Arrested for Conspiracy to Support ISIS
Three Michigan residents were arrested Monday afternoon for conspiring to support ISIS, federal authorities said.
Muse Abdikadir Muse, 20, was arrested by law enforcement officers during security screening at the Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan, after checking in for the first of a series of flights to Mogadishu, Somalia. His 23-year-old brother, Mohamud Abdikadir Muse, and their 26-year-old brother-in-law, Mohamed Salat Haji, were arrested in the airport terminal soon after, according to a criminal complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
All three men are naturalized U.S. citizens who were born in Kenya and currently reside in Lansing, Michigan.

The average American voter, naturally, has very few outlets available that acknowledge the continued existence and influence of contemporary communism. Yet, communism is currently the single most important political and cultural influence in the country. Therefore, thumbnail sketches are provided here that outline the more significant domestic communist organizations currently working to undermine the Constitution and impose socialism on the American people.
A word on communism versus socialism: Socialism is a euphemism for communism. They are two peas in the same pod and all lead to tyranny. Communism is socialism, and those who want you to believe otherwise are attempting to indoctrinate you. Period.

Keep in mind that leftist groups often overlap, morph, and split. Like their principles, these groups are forever changing, which adds to the complexity in researching them. Robert Barnes, the lawyer representing several of the families from Covington Catholic High School, received a bomb threat on Wednesday afternoon.
The threat comes after he gave 48 hour notice for celebrities, media outlets, politicians and journalists 48 hours to retract and apologize for any defamatory statements against the Covington kids or potentially be named in lawsuits next week.

Our Revolution: Marxist Trojan Horse Inside the Democratic Party

In the 2018 election cycle, a Marxist-led organization claiming more than 100,000 members in 50 states helped elect one U.S. senator, 10 members of Congress, around 70 state, county, and municipal officials, and contributed to the victory of more than 20 left-wing state and county ballot measures.
Our Revolution, the vehicle organized in 2016 to carry on the Bernie Sanders movement, endorsed several hundred candidates and ballot measures. Most fell short of victory, but six new leftist members of Congress, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), and a slew of socialist state representatives, county commissioners, and school board members have encouraged a U.S. left that had been long disillusioned with electoral politics.
Other beneficiaries of Our Revolution included incumbents Sen. Bernie Sanders and Reps. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), and Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.).

Police: Four Plotted to Attack NY Muslim Community With Ieds, 23 Guns
ROCHESTER, N. Y. (WHAM) — Three men and a teenage boy have been arrested and charged in Greece for an apparent conspiracy to use improvised explosive devices and guns in a plot against an Islamic community located 40 miles east of Binghamton.
Greece Police arrested Vincent Vetromile, 19, Andrew Crysel, 18, and Brian Colaneri, 20, and charged each of them with three counts of first-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of fourth-degree conspiracy. A fourth suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was also arrested in connection to the investigation, and faces the same charges. He’s not being named due to his age. He appeared in court Tuesday afternoon, and is being held on $1 million bail.
The four suspects were arrested over the course of a nine-hour period from 4:30 p.m. Saturday through 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
According to Greece Police Chief Patrick Phelan, the investigation started following a conversation between students during lunchtime Friday at Greece Odyssey. During that period, Phelan said a 16-year-old student reportedly showed a photo of another individual to a peer and asked if the person in that photo looked like “the next school shooter.”
Police said the student who was shown the photo reported the incident to school security, which prompted an investigation. School security involved Greece Police early in the investigation.
The student who had the photo on his phone, as well as the person who was in the photo, were interviewed. Phelan said a third person of interest, who was not a student, was later identified and all three were eventually brought in for questioning by Greece Police…

Senator Lindsey Graham to Investigate Obama and Hillary Scandals
Since taking over the House, Democrats have promised to open the investigation floodgates. If Donald Trump or anyone in his administration ever so much as misplaced a paper clip, you can be sure there would be hearings. When the Mueller probe reveals that there is no evidence of Russian collusion, they will start their own investigation, no doubt. Their main objective is to make sure Trump is not reelected, and in the meantime, they will do everything they can to make it impossible for him to govern. Democratic Party leadership is bending to accommodate fired-up young radicals.
How radical is the crop of Democratic congressmen? Avowed socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has deemed the latest crop of radical recruits “the most progressive freshman class in modern U.S. history.”
Socialists have been infiltrating the Democratic Party for decades — and the Republican Party on occasion. The situation has gotten gradually worse since the Vietnam War era. Democratic Party “moderates” have been mostly successful — with the help of the establishment media — in keeping a lid on their socialist wing for years, but the relentless pressure from open socialists, along with an increasingly indoctrinated populace, has finally blown the lid off the charade. Every election cycle the radicals have gained a little more ground. In 2018, a tipping point was reached. Mere “infiltration” is boiling over into a full-fledged scarlet-tinged socialist takeover.

Trio Planned Explosive Attack on Muslim Community in Upstate NY, Police Say
Three men and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with an alleged conspiracy to use improvised explosive devices against an Islamic community in upstate New York.

According to court filings, the group is accused of having multiple sizes and shapes of IEDs with the “intent to use against…the persons and property” in Islamberg, Delaware County, the news channel reported.
Islamberg was founded in the late 1980s by Mubarak Ali Gilani, a Pakistani Sufi cleric, and a group of primarily African American Muslims who left New York City, reportedly to escape crime, poverty, and racism…

Delingpole: Grab Your Yellow Vest — Britain is Headed for Dirty War
Officially we’re not supposed to speculate on the civil disorder which might ensue if parliament succeeds in its campaign to thwart Brexit.
When Transport Secretary Chris Grayling tried to do so recently, he was loftily put back in his box by the Labour party grandee Roy Hattersley: “I don’t think many people would regard Chris Grayling as an expert on this matter, or, indeed, on anything.”
But now two academics have let the cat out of the bag. David Betz and MLR Smith are professors in the Department of War Studies, King’s College, London, and they know whereof they speak.
“We are expert in these matters. We have for decades studied why things fall apart, how a stable, essentially self-policing, productive society can turn into an ungovernable tumult roiling with rage,” they write in an essay for the eurosceptic Bruges Group.
Their conclusion: all those Remainer parliamentarians who think they’re being terribly clever using devious tricks to stop Brexit are playing with fire. If they succeed, Britain could well find itself plunged into “dirty war.”

Doctors, activists and others are sounding the alarm over the number of serious injuries suffered by Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vest) movement activists at the hands of police during the past several weeks.

Recent reports have been emerging of Sinhalese and Tamil women being forced to take contraceptive injections for their employment in these Islamic countries that can affect their fertility years after returning home. When the female workers return to their families in Sri Lanka, they are found to have fertility problems as a result of the contraceptives administered to them, secretly or otherwise. The use of chemical contraceptives is not socially acceptable among the Sinhalese for traditional cultural reasons, as fertility and marriage are considered sacred; abortion is illegal in Sri Lanka. …
The contraceptive drug, Depo-Provera, is known in Sri Lanka to damage the fertility of women. The massive seizure of illegal contraceptives heightened fears that the Sinhalese (and Tamils) were becoming the victims of a sinister Islamic sterilization program to reduce their birth rates. Since these were vials containing liquid solutions were found hidden amongst food, many theories began to circulate. New Species of Leaf-Mimicking Lizard Could Already be Victim of Pet Trade
A leaf-tailed gecko can be incredibly tricky to find. These lizards in the genus Uroplatus, found only in the forests of Madagascar, can masterfully camouflage themselves among dried leaves, sometimes with a foot that sticks out, resembling a twig. “One is, effectively, searching for a leaf in a maelstrom of leaves,” Mark D. Scherz, a Ph.D. student at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany, told Mongabay.
But researchers surveying Marojejy National Park in northeastern Madagascar have just described a new species of leaf-tailed gecko — one that may already be threatened with extinction because of habitat loss and the illegal pet trade.
The new species, named Uroplatus finaritra and described in a study published in Zootaxa, is known locally as tahafisaka, according to lead author Fanomezana Ratsoavina, a herpetologist at the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar.

Venezuela Swears in Opposition Leader as President
Juan Guaidó, the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, took an oath of office on Wednesday and was sworn in as the legitimate interim president of the country, replacing dictator Nicolas Maduro.
President Donald Trump issued a statement shortly after the public swearing-in ceremony recognizing Guaidó as the legitimate head of state of Venezuela. Countries like Argentina and Brazil, as well as the Organization of American States (OAS), also recognized Guaidó.
Guaidó was elected president of the National Assembly, the only remaining democratically elected institution in the country, in January. He is a member of the Popular Will party led by political prisoner Leopoldo López, a member party of the Socialist International. An Afghan who stabbed a refugee aid worker to death in Germany has walked free from court after judges ruled he had acted in self-defence.
The 18-year-old defendant, named as Seyed M., was accused of manslaughter after 20-year-old Jose M. died in a park in Ochtrup, north-west Germany, last May in a row about a girl.
Prosecutors at the court in Münster had demanded a three-year jail sentence but judges ruled Seyed had been defending himself, Bild reported.
The court heard Jose had put the Afghan in a headlock and punched him in the face, and that Seyed had initially tried to defend himself more ‘mildly’ with a glass bottle.

Salvini Refuses to Reopen Italy’s Ports: Stopping Migrant Boats Saving Lives
Matteo Salvini has rejected “humanitarian” demands that he reopen Italy’s ports to NGO boats ferrying migrants across the Mediterranean, insisting that shutting down the trafficking trade is “the only way to save lives”.

California Wants to Teach Kindergartners There Are 15 Genders
The California Department of Education is working on a plan to teach kindergartners that there are at least 15 different “genders.” The materials under the scheme also claim it is impossible to know whether babies are boys, girls, or something else, because they cannot talk yet. Parents will not be notified and are not allowed to opt their children out of the indoctrination sessions.
According to a report in FaithWire, the proposed changes would be implemented under a revision to the state’s “Health Education Framework” to be voted on in May. The scheme says it “supports the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes” across a range of areas including “sexual health,” which serves as a catch-all to teach children all manner of perversion and evil.
One of the recommended books, titled “Who Are You? The Kid’s Guide to Gender Identity,” purports to provide “a straightforward introduction to gender for anyone aged 4+.” The book claims, among other absurdities, that grown-ups “make a guess” about what gender babies are “by looking at their bodies.” The cover features a boy in a dress and a girl climbing a tree.
Meanwhile, a chapter in the health framework guidelines explains to teachers how to teach “sexuality” to kindergarten children. “Discuss gender with kindergartners by exploring gender stereotypes and asking open-ended questions, such as what are preferred colors, toys, and activities for boys/girls, and then challenging stereotypes if presented,” it reads.
Then, the teacher should continue to confuse the children. “Throughout this discussion, show images of children around the same age who do not conform to typical gender stereotypes,” the instructions read. “Examples do not have to be exaggerated or overt. Simple differences, such as colors or toy preferences, can demonstrate acceptance of gender non-conformity.”
Of course, preaching this sort of madness to vulnerable and impressionable children captive in a government classroom has devastating effects. As The Newman Report documented last year, a study from the University of California, Los Angeles, found that more than one fourth of children in the state between the ages of 12 and 17 are “gender non-conforming.”

If the Chinese imposed a one child policy on the continent of Africa then it would be difficult for the left to condemn them. On the hierarchy of victimhood, Africans rate higher than Asians even though both have skin containing higher amounts of melanin than the evil white race. But, the erstwhile colonial oppressors are nominally communist which would help to cancel out their assumed oppressor status even though the oppressed happen to be black. Toss in suppression of African fecundity with the corresponding reduction of damage to African flora and fauna, and even the left could get behind or at least look the other way where Chinese colonization is concerned.
Personally, I think Chinese colonization is the best thing that could possibly happen to the Dark Continent.
