Charles Payne Calls Out Fed Chairman for “Crushing” Trump’s Roaring Market [Video]

Did you know the Fed Chairman has raised the fed funds 7 times in two years? Yes, since President Trump was elected, Chairman Powell has raised the rate 6 more times than it was raised in the 8 years of Obama! Something smells political…ya think?

“Two things again that move markets sentiment and fundamentals. The sentiment I think the Fed ruined it. I think Powell crushed this market on October 3rd. Powell crushed this market. Look at October 3rd and look what’s happened since then.”

Charles Payne is spot-on about Jerome Powell who was selected as the Fed Chairman by Trump but has curiously raised rates seven times crushing the booming economy that Trump has created.

S&P Maintains Italy’s Rating But Pressures Populist Govt Over Budget Rejected by EU

MILAN (AP) — Italy’s premier has welcomed Standard & Poor’s decision to maintain Italy’s rating while still lowering the financial outlook for the country to “negative” from “stable.”

Premier Giuseppe Conte said Saturday the decision by the ratings agency was “correct in light of the economic solidity of the country,” citing the competitiveness of Italian businesses and the high level of Italian private savings.

The Establishment Must Undermine Alternative Economists as Crisis Unfolds

There is a notion within the mainstream media that certain economic indicators are unassailable; they never stop being reliable. The way they look at and report on the system is rather outdated and extremely limited in scope; showcasing and cherry picking only net-positive statistics, even if those stats don’t represent reality. The result is a kind of holographic view of the financial structure; a mirage of a healthy and vibrant foundation that simply does not exist.

This fraudulent view appeals to the masses for a time because it provides fuel for false hopes. In economics, an analyst must always account for two major factors: the hard math and human psychology. These factors tend to conflict during times when a financial bubble is present, and they tend to converge when such bubbles implode. One must never underestimate the power of public psychology, though. Even when the math is screaming that danger is present in the system, a naive and misinformed populace (coupled with central bank manipulation) can keep a dead economy in a state of profane reanimation for much longer than seems logically possible.

This magic show only lasts for so long, however, and eventually the truth strikes those with blind faith in the machine brutally and without mercy…

For my part, I outlined in 2015 that the Federal Reserve would undertake a policy of interest rates hikes and fiscal tightening, and that they would pursue this action until markets, long supported by cheap debt, finally broke under the pressure. Months before Trump’s election I stated that Donald Trump would in fact be president and that the Fed would accelerate tightening during his administration. At the beginning of this year I predicted that Fed tightening would result in massive stock market reversal (worse than the 2008 crash) in 2018. In September I refined the timing of this crash to begin in the final quarter of 2018.

These are not vaporous or inconclusive statements, these are very direct predictions. And, other economists in the liberty movement have similar analysis.

[Comment: Arrest all top Fed officials for fraud. Shut down the privately owned Fed. A nation state should never go into debt to private bankers for creating the nations currency. ]

That’s the question 29-year-old conservative firebrand Candace Owens says haunted her one February afternoon. Grinning Trump Encourages “Lock Him Up” Chant Against George Soros

“Tone down” for what?

Shortly before telling a group of reporters who had asked President Trump to “tone down” his rhetoric that he felt like he had already been “toned down” — and that he felt there was more room for him to “tone it up” instead — Trump incited howls of outrage from liberals and progressive journalists when he chuckled after an audience member shouted “lock him up!” about billionaire George Soros, who was one of more than a dozen people targeted by a flurry of mail bomb scares this week.

Trump met with a “passionate audience” at the White House Young Black Leadership Summit on Thursday. Throughout his speech about globalism and his trade agenda, Trump was repeatedly interrupted by applause, cheers and chants.

And when Trump arrived at a part of his speech where he criticized foreign nations for “cheating our workers,” some members of the crowd started calling out “Soros,” who has been widely criticized among conservatives for championing progressive, globalist principles with his “Open Society” foundation. One member even shouted “lock him up.”

In response, Trump chuckled and repeated the chant himself, saying “Lock him up” and pointing a finger at the audience member who shouted it.

[Comment: Soros should be locked up for seditious activites and terrorism.]

Sayoc Accusation Doesn’t Pass the Smell Test

Something still doesn’t pass the smell test. In a moment of time where merely wearing a “MAGA” hat can get you fired, beat up, or merely harangued out of your favorite eatery, we are asked to believe that Cesar Altieri Sayoc was allowed to drive around safely in a van abundantly and meticulously adorned with pro-Trump stickers and a few depicting his personal animus toward the usual anti-Trump suspects, all of their colors vibrant, un-faded in the semitropical Florida sun.

The van was never overturned or torched wherever he parked or drove it. No tires were ever slashed, no windows were ever smashed in with a baseball bat. It was never even keyed. And there it was in pristine condition, undamaged and ready for its close-up before a media avid to blame President Trump for Sayoc’s actions.

Why would an ardent or, as the media will say, “unhinged” Trump supporter, watching, as the rest of us have, the so-called “blue wave” break up before it reaches shore amidst a roaring economy and widespread outrage over the treatment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh and the oncoming illegal alien caravan invasion, do something so idiotic, something that could only slow the Trump train and help Democrats blame “both sides” and Trump’s allegedly “toxic rhetoric”

One observer asked the obvious question:

Why does Cesar Sayoc, the alleged “MAGABomber”, follow mainly liberals on Twitter and have a van covered in brand new pro-President Donald Trump stickers? It’s as if he isn’t a supporter and wants it pinned on the president.

Trump Comes Out Swinging: Blasts Twitter for Removing His Followers Before Midterm Elections

For two days, Twitter allowed #MAGABomber to trend on their massive social media platform. The idea, of course, was to allow the hashtag that inferred a Trump supporter was behind the crude bomb imitations that were sent to several high profile Democrats, many of whom have been calling for violence against Trump and his supporters.

Nevertheless, the Twitter censorship team who continues to shut down the accounts of popular conservative voices in the name of “protecting” users from unwanted content, allowed the disgusting conspiracy theory that pinned the suspicious packages the Left will call “bombs” (until it’s discovered that someone on their team sent them) on President Trump supporters.

Earlier this week, Gateway Pundit wrote about Twitter user, who goes by the name of “Melissa”, who announced on Twitter that she was attending the Black Conservative Summit in Washington DC this week sponsored by Turning Point USA. Within an hour of posting her announcement on Twitter Melissa was suspended by Twitter.

This was the third account she created since coming out as a black female Trump supporter.

Twitter is able to track and collect your online activity data even you have chosen to log out and delete their app. This is all thanks to an obscure and hidden setting that can only be disabled by accessing a particular page on Twitter’s website.

This story was verified by Breitbart by testing Twitter’s data collection on an Apple iPhone, following a tip from banned conservative Twitter users @TheALX. ECHR Rules Italy Violated Provenzano’s Rights

Govt blasts ruling over hard jail regime for Mafia boss

(ANSA) — Strasbourg, October 25 — The European Court of Human Rights ruled on Thursday that Italy violated Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights when it renewed on 23 March 2016 the tough 41bis prison regime of mafia boss Bernardo Provenzano. The court said applying the regime violated Provenzano’s right to not be subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment.

However, it also ruled that the decision to keep Provenzano, who was seriously ill at the time, in jail rather than release him did not violate his rights.

The Cosa Nostra boss of bosses died later in 2016 at the age of 83 after a long illness.

The government blasted the decision.

“The Strasbourg court has ‘condemned’ Italy because it kept ‘Mr’ Provenzano, sentenced to 20 life sentences for dozens of murders, in hard jail until his death,” League leader Salvini said.

“It is the umpteenth demonstration of how useless this umpteenth European circus is.

“The Italians decide for the Italian people, no one else”.

Fellow Deputy Premier and Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio was critical too.

“So we violated Provenzano’s right not to be subject to inhuman and degrading treatment. They don’t know what they are talking about,” 5-Star Movement (M5S) leader Di Maio said via Instagram.

“The inhuman behaviour was Provenzano’s. The 41bis is a fundamental instrument to weaken the mafia and it must not be touched.

“No mercy with the mafia”.

Europe’s Crisis of Survival

“The possibility that Europe will become a museum or a cultural amusement park for the nouveau riche of globalization is not completely out of the question.” This thought of Europe as a vast cultural theme park was presentedby the late historian Walter Laqueur, who, for his far-sighted prognosis about Europe’s crisis, has been called “the indispensable pessimist.” Laqueur was one of the first to understand that the current deadlock in which the continent finds itself goes far beyond economics. The point is that the days of European strength are over. Because of low birth rates, Europe is dramatically shrinking. If current trends continue, Laqueur said, a hundred years from now Europe’s population “will be only a fraction of what it is today, and in two hundred, some countries may have disappeared.”

Germany: Eight Arrested for Rape in Freiburg

The men are suspected of drugging and assaulting an 18-year-old woman in the southwestern German city. A spate of high-profile violent incidents has shocked the bucolic university city in recent years.

Eight men were arrested in the idyllic German city of Freiburg on Friday in connection with the rape of an 18-year-old woman. Police said that seven of the suspects were Syrian men aged 19 to 29, and one native German aged 25.

The victim reportedly met at least one of the men at a nightclub in Freiburg’s industrial area on the night of October 14. The man is suspected of having drugged the woman’s drink. All eight men are accused of having taken turns assaulting her near the club.

Police said they were able to determine some of the suspects based on DNA evidence.

“There is no tolerance for despicable acts,” said Mayor Martin Horn, promising swift justice.

The incident is the latest in a series of violent acts since 2016 to have rocked the southwestern city known for its beautiful scenery, university and eco-friendly living.

The city has had to reckon with a beating by a group of teenagers that left a middle-aged man dead, the rape and murder of a medical student, the killing of a 27-year-old female jogger by a truck driver in the suburb of Endingen, as well as the discovery of a pedophilia ring in the nearby town of Staufen.

‘Submission’ Author Houellebecq Claims West in ‘Advanced Decline’, EU ‘Murdering’ Europe’s Nations

Bestselling French writer Michel Houellebecq, author of the dystopian novel Submission, has claimed the West is in an advanced state of decline, echoing the views of the late philosopher Oswald Spengler.

Mr Houellebecq, who’s novel Submission looked at a France in which a pro-Sharia Islamist becomes the country’s president, said he saw the West in an advanced state of decline due to the rise of Islam and demographic changes caused by mass migration and low birthrates, Le Point reports.

He made the comments at the ceremony for the Oswald Spengler Prize, named after the early 20th-century German philosopher famous for his work The Decline of the West.

Europe Support Against US ‘Rare Victory’ For Iran: Rouhani

TEHRAN (AFP) — President Hassan Rouhani said Saturday that the divisions between the US and Europe over renewed sanctions on Iran were a “rare historical victory” for the Islamic republic.

“If this time last year, we had stated that America would stand against the great nation of Iran… and Europe would stand with Iran and against America, the overwhelming majority of us… would have said that this was pure optimism,” Rouhani told lawmakers in a televised address.

“The political victory of the great nation of Iran over the past months is a rare victory in history.”

EU countries have fiercely opposed the decision by US President Donald Trump to abandon their landmark 2015 nuclear deal with Iran and reimpose sanctions — the last of which will return on November 5.

Rouhani was addressing parliament for a special session to approve four new ministers covering the portfolios of economy, transport, labour and industry.

He acknowledged Iranians were feeling the economic strain, saying: “All of us understand people are suffering and under pressure. People’s lives, in particular those on a fixed income, are very difficult.”

But he insisted there were sufficient reserves of basic commodities and foreign currency to weather the storm, even after a record-breaking plunge in the rial over the summer and imminent sanctions on its crucial oil industry.

“We cannot tell our people that because of America’s pressure, we cannot do anything. This answer is not acceptable. We cannot tell people that because there are problems with selling our oil, we are unable to manage the country,” he said.

He criticised foreign media reports that costs were soaring, despite Iran’s own central bank showing food and drink prices had risen 46.5 percent in the year to September.

“Foreign media lie to people of Iran and say that Iran is the most expensive country people live in,” Rouhani said.

Lawmakers were set to vote later on Saturday on whether to approve the four names put forward by Rouhani: Farhad Dejpasand as economy minister, Mohammad Eslami for transport, Reza Rahmani for industry and Mohammad Shariatmadari for labour.

The previous economy and labour ministers were impeached by parliament in August, while the other two resigned last week.

Georgians to Vote in Last Direct Election for President

TBILISI, Georgia (AP) — Sunday’s election will be the last time residents of the former Soviet republic of Georgia get to cast a ballot for president — that’s if any of the 25 candidates running gets an absolute majority.

Opinion polls suggest that none of the candidates will exceed the 50 percent needed for a first-round victory and that the country on the Black Sea will have to choose between Sunday’s two top candidates in a November presidential runoff.

Under constitutional changes that began in 2010, Georgia is transitioning to being a parliamentary country.

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Caravan Migrants Are ‘Refugees’ With ‘Legal’ Right to Asylum in U.S.

Socialist Democrat candidate for Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York’s 14th District says the caravan of between 7,000 and 10,000 migrants is comprised of “refugees” who have a right to claim and seek asylum in the United States.

Ocasio-Cortez, who has led the Democrat Party’s “abolish ICE” movement, said the migrant caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border in order to overwhelm the country’s asylum and immigration system should not be referred to as a “caravan,” but rather as a group of “refugees” who have a legal right to enter the country.

Who’s Funding the Caravan and Who Could be Hiding Among the Hondurans?

As a Honduran horde approaches the southern border of the United States, questions of the source of the funding and the sincerity of those among the thousands allegedly seeking asylum need urgent answers.

A report published by the New York Post identifies Bartolo Fuentes, a former Honduran legislator and vocal supporter of Hugo Chavez, as the instigator of the seemingly sudden exodus from the Central American country.

Young Angry Men & Gangbangers March Towards U.S. Yelling “Vamos Para Alla Trump!”

Besides gang members and mobs of young angry men, the Central American caravan making its way into the United States also consists of Africans, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans and Indians.

Judicial Watch is covering the crisis from the Guatemalan-Honduran border this week and observed that the popular mainstream media narrative of desperate migrants—many of them women and children—seeking a better life is hardly accurate.

Guatemalan intelligence officials confirmed that the caravan that originated in the northern Honduran city of San Pedro Sula includes a multitude of Special Interest Aliens (SIA) from the countries listed above as well as other criminal elements and gang members.

There are also large groups of men, some with criminal histories, aggressively demanding that the U.S. take them in. During a visit to the Guatemalan town of Chiquimula, about 35 miles from the Honduran border, Judicial Watch encountered a rowdy group of about 600 men, ages 17 to about 40, marching north on a narrow two-lane highway.

Among them was a 40-year-old Honduran man who previously lived in the United States for decades and got deported. His English was quite good, and he said his kids and girlfriend live in the U.S. Another man in his 30s contradicted media reports that caravan participants are fleeing violence and fear for their life.

Florida School’s Shocking Plan

“The Pasco County School Board must take action to reign in these rogue school employees and administrators and reject their unauthorized LGBT policies and practices that violate parental and employee rights and the privacy rights of students”

Pasco County Public Schools personnel have adopted a harmful, unauthorized “policy” and practice of promoting LGBT ideology in violation of the rights of students, parents, and teachers, all without school board approval. Liberty Counsel has offered assistance to the Pasco County School Board, urging it to take immediate action and stop the harmful behavior at Chasco Middle School and elsewhere in the district resulting from a so-called “Gender Support Plan” and “Best Practices Guide.”

Jackie Jackson-Dean, a school psychologist, credits herself as lead author of a “Gender Support Plan” (Plan) and “Best Practices Guide” (Guide) adopted without school board approval. Page two of the Guide credits her as “lead content developer.” The documents encourage improper locker and bathroom access, the use of false gender pronouns, and withholding of information from parents. The unauthorized Plan imposes one person’s beliefs about gender over the beliefs of teachers, other students, and parents. The Plan and Guide require teachers to refer to some children by false gender pronouns, rather than pronouns consistent with biological gender, and to promote false ideas about gender to other children.

Pasco County administrators have threatened and silenced two P.E. teachers who objected to this Plan in order to allow a gender-confused girl into the boys’ locker room and open showers. The female student had full access to disrobe and even shower alongside unsuspecting boys. Administrators tried to force the male teachers to directly supervise and observe the girl in her use of the space. Both teachers objected to administrators’ refusal to inform minor boys and their parents beforehand, so their sons’ privacy could be protected. The girl remains free to enter the boys’ locker and open showers at any time.

Gender Agenda: Coach Punished for Not Spying on Girls in Shower

Yes, you read that right

Trump is pushing back against the globalist’s agenda against the natural family.

The push for a transgender agenda to ignore biological gender is ultimately a UN agenda, being forcefully implemented in the USA by the federal government using the Obama tactic of economic blackmail through Title IX entitlements.

The Trump administration is defining gender as biological, objective and binary and Hollywood & the UN are furious.

The ‘Sokal Squared’ Hoax Sums Up American Politics

Do dogs suffer “oppression based upon (perceived) gender”? Can observing human-canine interactions help us disrupt “hegemonic masculinities”? Clearly, there’s a dearth of scholarly research on this subject. That’s probably why the journal Gender, Place, and Culture was so excited to publish an academic paper titled, “Human reactions to rape culture and queer performativity at urban dog parks in Portland, Oregon” — to make an important contribution to the literature.

Well, sort of.

Turns out, the paper was part of a massive hoax. Three scholars — Helen Pluckrose, James Lindsay and Peter Boghossian — spent 10 months writing 20 fake, performatively absurd academic papers and submitting them to journals of identity studies and critical theory. The trio sought to expose the excesses of what they called “grievance studies”: academic fields that, in their view, had turned from seeking truth to promoting a narrow swath of progressive ideology, with the help of impenetrable jargon.

The hoax submissions were preposterous, though pitch-perfect in tone.

The UN Wants to be Our World Government by 2030

In 2015, seventy years after their original rights-based document, the UN took a giant step towards the global government that was only hinted at in their first organizing document. They issued a document entitled “Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” This document has 91 numbered sections of the UN’s program for world government. The UDHR is only referenced once in the entire document in Article 19. Unlike the original “mother document” that was under 1900 words, this document is 14,883 words. The 91 items are addressing issues under the five headings of People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership. Additionally, the document provides 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to improve life on the planet.

What is meant by the term “sustainable?” The most often quoted definition comes from the UN World Commission on Environment and Development: “sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” The earlier ideas and ideals of rights, freedom, equality, and justice are subsumed under meeting of needs and an explicit environmentalism which emphasizes preventing the depletion of scarce planetary resources. Of course, the takeoff is the Marxist axiom that society should be organized around the idea of “from each according to his ability to each according to his needs.” Thus, Marxism is implicit in sustainability, but is nuanced by its alliance with seemingly scientific adjustments and goals related to environmentalism. A technical jargon is welded to Marxist intentionality to produce a sense of fittingness and modern progress.

The entire “Transforming Our World” document is cast in a stream of consciousness of pious platitudes for a utopian future. It is an outsize utopian dream. Five of the 17 items pertain to the environment. There are goals for the cities, for women, for the poor, and even for life under the water. Absolutely no sphere of human activity is exempt from control by the UN. The key word of course is no longer “rights” except the oblique reference in Article 19. In fact, this writer did not see the word rights even once in this document even though that word appeared in practically every sentence of the original UN document.

The one-worlders of the 1950s and early 1960s are now in the UN driver’s seat, and they have made their move. The overlay of Marxist talk about “meeting needs” has moved to center stage. The UN has assigned itself a time frame for moving forward in its plan for planetary hegemony.

United Nations IPCC Climate Agenda Ignores Cost

When the U.N. doesn’t even try to estimate how expensive its latest climate proposal would be, that should be a red flag that most of the public would flatly reject it.

In a previous IER post, I explained the enormous disconnect between the work of newly-anointed Nobel laureate William Nordhaus, and the United Nations’ new “special report” calling for drastic government measures to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Specifically, Nordhaus’ “DICE” model—which was chosen by the Obama Administration as a state-of-the-art pioneer in the field—showed that doing nothing at all was a better policy than what the U.N. is currently demanding.

In the present article, I’ll use the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC’s) own published reports—which ostensibly codify the peer-reviewed literature in several fields, in order to show policymakers and the public what the “settled science” is—in order to show that the latest calls for a 1.5°C target would be ludicrously expensive. And this is why the latest IPCC report does not present the actual cost of its proposals. It simply takes the 1.5°C ceiling as a given. There is literally no attempt to use the existing body of literature to show that the benefits of the proposals outweigh their costs.

In any other field, be it health care, retirement planning, space exploration, or even the military, the public is given some indication of how expensive the proposed policies will be. The benefits may not accrue in terms of dollars and cents; how do you put a price tag on going to the moon or fending off invaders? But the public can at least get a sense of how much they will pay for the various programs and their claimed benefits.

Yet when it comes to the UN’s latest call for transforming the global financial system and energy infrastructure, one has to scour the document to find even offhand remarks about the cost implications. There is not even a guess provided as to how expensive this program will be.

The reason, I submit, is that any plausible answer would be staggeringly high, such that any normal person would immediately conclude that the 1.5°C target was ludicrously aggressive.

  5. Re: Belgium’s purchase of US-made F-35 Jets…

The UK has wasted billions on weapons made either by our own British Aerospace, or as joint projects with our European partners. In virtually every case, they have been hugely expensive, often ineffective, and could have been substituted by better and cheaper alternatives from the US. The F-35 may have its problems (which hasn’t prevented the Israelis, as well as ourselves, buying it), but Macron has no idea what he’s talking about.

    • The Belgians clearly know a better deal when they see it. But there could be more to this story. Belgium is a significant Arms manufacturer and exporter in its own right. Perhaps there’s a back deal we don’t know about.
