Gates of Vienna News Feed 9/5/2018

It appears that the Greek island of Lesvos will receive no immediate relief from Athens for its migrant problems. The mayor of the island recently informed the Greek migration minister that there were now 10,000 migrants residing in the Moria camp, with more coming every day.

In other news, Cyprus — which has a larger number of migrants per capita than any other EU member state — has appealed to the EU for help with its own migration problems.

Study: U.S. Manufacturing Collapse Catalyst for Economic Decline of White Working Class, Black Americans

The collapse of American manufacturing thanks to decades of international free trade agreements acted as the catalyst for the general economic decline of the U.S. white working class and black Americans, a new study reveals.

The latest research by economist Eric D. Gould of the Institute of Labor Economics reveals the extent to which white men and black men in the U.S. were crippled by the country’s manufacturing collapse, which came as trade deficits racked up and free trade deals were readily implemented.

Gould’s research notes that for white men and black men, the number of U.S. workers in the manufacturing in 2010 was actually less than half of what it was in 1960.

Alex Jones in DC to Face His Accusers at Social Media Censorship Hearings

Alex Jones is in Washington DC to face his accusers during hearings where Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg will be grilled on social media censorship of conservatives.

Last month, Alex Jones and Infowars were banned by a plethora of Big Tech companies all within 24 hours of each other, with YouTube, Facebook, Apple and Spotify all pulling the plug.

Jones was subsequently put in a 7 day “time out” on Twitter after a decision personally made by Dorsey.

It was also revealed that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg personally made the final call to ban Jones, following in the footsteps of Apple’s Tim Cook.

Americans Are Changing Their Relationship With Facebook

Significant shares of Facebook users have taken steps in the past year to reframe their relationship with the social media platform.

Just over half of Facebook users ages 18 and older (54%) say they have adjusted their privacy settings in the past 12 months, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. Around four-in-ten (42%) say they have taken a break from checking the platform for a period of several weeks or more, while around a quarter (26%) say they have deleted the Facebook app from their cellphone. All told, some 74% of Facebook users say they have taken at least one of these three actions in the past year.

The findings come from a survey of U.S. adults conducted May 29-June 11, following revelations that the former consulting firm Cambridge Analytica had collected data on tens of millions of Facebook users without their knowledge…

Another Democrat Falls to Leftist Resistance: Incumbent Rep. Michael Capuano Loses Primary to Ocasio-Cortez-Backed Ayanna Pressley

Longtime incumbent Democratic Rep. Michael Capuano (D-MA) lost his primary on Tuesday to anti-establishment insurgent Ayanna Pressley in the latest of a series of powerful incumbents to lose to grassroots-fueled outsiders.

Capuano conceded the election early after returns started flowing in, a sign of how badly Pressley defeated him.

This win for the hard-left of the Democratic Party against its own establishment comes in the wake of devout socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s stunning upset win over Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-NY) in New York earlier this summer, a shocker that rocket-fueled the leftist wing of the Democratic Party in a year where establishment incumbents are having a hard time winning re-election.

A glowing profile of Pressley in the New York Times published with a Cambridge dateline just a few days before the primary on Tuesday reveals just how unusual she is:

Dayton Man Accused of Trying to Join ISIS Waives Jury Trial

DAYTON — A Dayton man accused of trying to fly to Syria to join ISIS has waived his right to a jury trial.

Laith Alebbini, 28, is scheduled to have his trial heard later this year by U.S. District Judge Walter Rice in Dayton’s District Court. A Sept. 17 trial date recently was continued.

Alebbini was indicted for conspiracy and knowingly attempting “to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization in the form of personnel to work under ISIS’s direction and control.” Alebbini has pleaded not guilty.

Democrat-Allied Media Slams Exposure of Governor Candidate’s Use of Soros’ Cash

Andrew Gillum, the Tallahassee mayor and Florida’s recently nominated candidate from the Democratic Party in the upcoming gubernatorial elections, recently admitted he was “deeply appreciative” of billionaire George Soros for his massive contributions to his campaign.

The race for the Florida governorship between Republican candidate Rep. Ron DeSantis and Democrat Andrew Gillum is getting nasty amid accusations by Gillum-leaning media that their opponents are using “dog whistle” politics, simply by pointing out the facts about donations to the Gillum campaign.

Soros, the Hungarian-born billionaire accused of meddling in the politics of countries around the world, directed an estimated $1 million to Gillum’s campaign, with the cash amounting to nearly a quarter of the total funds raised for the candidate.

Donald Trump Does Not Want to Watch Ryan Gosling Moon Landing Movie ‘First Man’

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he does not want to watch the Ryan Gosling movie First Man after hearing that it would not include the scene of the American flag being planted on the moon.

“I wouldn’t even want to watch the movie,” Trump said of the film in an interview with the Daily Caller, recalling that the moon landing was a singular American achievement.

“When you think of Neil Armstrong and when you think of the landing on the moon, you think about the American flag,” he said.

The movie’s star, Ryan Gosling, said he believed that the moon landing was a “human achievement” and not a mission that was distinctly American.

Trump appeared incredulous about Gosling’s explanation.

“It’s almost like they’re embarrassed at the achievement coming from America, I think it’s a terrible thing,” he said.

Ex-Muslim Customers Kicked Out of Houston Starbucks for Wearing Ex-Muslim T-Shirts

Former Muslims with Ex-Muslims of North America (EXMNA) were kicked out of a Starbucks connected to a Hilton hotel in Houston, Texas, on Saturday. Video shows Lina, an ex-Muslim Syrian woman, physically barred from re-entering the Starbucks after she had bought an iced coffee and was expelled from the establishment for wearing a t-shirt.

In the video, a Hilton manager came out to prevent Lina from re-entering the Starbucks. At first, he suggested that if the EXMNA volunteer merely removed her t-shirt, she would be admitted. Later, however, he refused to allow her companion to enter the premises, even though he was not wearing an ex-Muslim t-shirt.

“You’re not allowed on the property,” the manager said. When asked why, he reiterated, “Because you’re not allowed. You’ve got shirts right now.”

When pressed again, the manager explained, “There’s a protest going on. You can if you take your shirts off, whatever.”

Facebook is Building a “War Room” To Monitor Midterm Elections in Real-Time

Facebook is gearing up for the upcoming midterm elections by building a physical “war room” in order to fight off “bad actors” who wish to influence voters.

Facebook’s head of civic engagement, Samidh Chakrabarti, told NBC in an interview published Tuesday that the company was in a better place than it was in 2016 in regards to fighting “misinformation” and “fake news.”

According to the top executive, the social giant has become effective over the past two years in “combating foreign interference” and blocking and deleting unwanted “fake accounts.”

Facebook is taking it’s “responsibility” (as Mark Zuckerberg put it) to battle these potential bad actors so serious that it will have in place a physical “war room” wherein real time the company will hope to guarantee fair elections.

The command center of sorts will be composed of people of different trades who will be able to “take quick and decisive action” if needed.

Facebook De-Platforms Alex Jones But Allows Huge Assortment of Pro-Terrorist Filth to Persist Across Its Platform

The best example yet that Infowars founder Alex Jones was becoming too worrisome for the Leftist Deep State and its sycophantic media and tech allies is evidenced by the ferocity with which they are going after him and his business.

Leftists always reveal who they’re most frightened by: It’s the conservatives and libertarians they fear most.

That explains why establishment media led by CNN and the social media giants led by Facebook are working frantically to deep-six Jones’ media empire — through bans, censorship, and de-platforming.

And they appear not to care how hypocritical they look in the process.

On Monday in what appeared to be a well-coordinated effort, Facebook — along with YouTube, Spotify, and Apple — removed Jones’ audio and video files and pages, claiming that his speech is simply “too hateful” for the public forum. So far, Twitter appears to be the lone social media holdout, but it’s anyone’s guess how long Jack Dorsey, Twitter founder and CEO, will take the abuse that is surely coming his way (from his own platform no doubt).

And yet, for all the “hate” Jones is allegedly spreading, how much more hateful can you get than to espouse and embrace terrorism?

The Gateway Pundit noted this week after Jones was deplatformed by Facebook that Mark Zuckerberg’s social media site plays host to all sorts of hate — terrorist hate.

For instance, though Jones is too offensive for Face, the Communist FARC terrorists hailing from Colombia are just fine to them. FARC — the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia — began as a guerrilla movement in the mid-1960s and grew into an anti-government armed force responsible for nearly five decades of murder and torture. In 2002 the U.S. government considered the group “drug-trafficking ‘terrorists,’“ Reuters reported.

And while Jones is too outrageous for Facebook, apparently Zuckerberg’s censors are just ducky with Palestinian Fatah having a page with 120,000 “likes.” Like other Palestinian organizations, this one advocates for the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people, while often promoting female terrorists and suicide bombers, The Gateway Pundit noted. The group considers nothing off-limits if it drives “occupying” Israel off of territory that has never belonged to them.

Former Congressman Claims the Deep State is Real in New Book

In his new book titled “The Deep State: How an army of bureaucrats protected Barack Obama and is working to destroy Donald Trump,” Jason Chaffetz alleges that the deep state is very real. His book, which is set to be published on September 18, details the lengths the intelligence community is going to in an attempt to undermine Trump.

“The Deep State is real,” Chaffetz wrote, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. “They don’t like exposure, accountability or responsibility. They fight back, outlast and work the system for their advantage. And they certainly don’t like disruptive forces such as Donald Trump.”

Chaffetz, a former congressman from Utah, resigned from Congress in June 2017. At the time, that was about six months into Trump’s presidency. Chaffetz then decided to take a job as a political analyst for the FOX News Channel and the FOX Business Network, according to USA Today.

Chaffetz says that the devastating Benghazi incident is what uncovered a larger problem in the corrupt government. “Without exposing Benghazi we might never have learned that Hillary Clinton was using her private email server to conduct government business and transmit classified information,” Chaffetz wrote. “Benghazi was a symptom of a much deeper problem at the State Department. Their decisions were based not on a security calculation, but on a political one.” Chaffetz also tosses the Department of Justice firmly under the bus in his book as well. The DOJ is a frequent target of both Trump and the House Freedom Caucus. “The DOJ should be protecting us,” Chaffetz wrote. “And yet it is the federal agency that stands head and shoulders above the rest in enabling the Swamp.”

Judge Bans Online Distribution of 3D-Printed Gun Blueprints Until Court Case is Resolved

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Morning Blaze,” Doc Thompson spoke with Emily Taylor, an independent program attorney at U.S. Law Shield, to discuss the ongoing proceedings regarding the distribution of blueprints for 3D-printed guns.

The U.S. Law Shield is a legal defense organization for self-defense cases founded in 2009 with the goal of protecting citizens fed up with abuse in the legal system toward gun owners.

Taylor spoke of a recent order by a judge to block the distribution of files for printing 3D guns.

Know a Woman Who Wants a Gun? This Illinois Man Will Give Her One for Free

A Mt. Vernon man is giving away free guns to those who meet his requirements: pass the “babysitter test,” have a FOID card and be a woman.

Robert Bertrand started Help 50 to give interested women a pump-action shotgun after a background check.

“Especially in Mt. Vernon, some areas are kind of rough. A lot of people are worried about burglars in the middle of the night,” Bertrand told the BND.

Bertrand, who says he’s “not a gun person,” partly modeled the program after a now-defunct program in Texas. He says those women interested in a free gun must pass a background check, must possess a valid Firearm Owners Identification and be someone he would trust with his own child, or what he calls “the babysitter test.”

And why only women?

“I’m not giving them to guys, because they always ask for guns,” Bertrand said.

As of Tuesday, Help 50 has given four women each a 20-guage H&R pump compact and has another 30 interested. The four women include a single mother and a nurse. They will get NRA-certified safety training in October, he said.

The website at www.help50.org/ takes donations, but is not a registered not-for-profit.

Levi Strauss Launches Million Dollar Gun Control Campaign

Levi Strauss is launching a million dollar gun control campaign which includes partnering with Michael Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety to represent pro-gun control business leaders.

Levi Strauss president and CEO Chip Bergh announced the gun control initiative via a Fortune column, in which he assured readers he is not trying “to repeal the Second Amendment.” Rather, he wants to join efforts to pressure Congress into outlawing private gun sales, i.e., sales between a neighbor and a neighbor, a father and a son, a lifelong friend and a lifelong friend, etc. In other words, Bergh wants to outlaw the very kind of gun sales Americans have enjoyed since 1791, when the Second Amendment was ratified.

Ironically, banning such sales would not have stopped a single mass shooting that occurred in the U.S. during the past 18 years, as almost every mass public attacker during those years acquired his or her guns via the very background checks Bergh wants to implement. Those who did not pass such checks simply stole their guns or otherwise accessed guns belonging to someone else.

Nevertheless, Bergh is directing Levi Strauss funding to gun control initiatives.

Bergh indicated that he assumes the company will face backlash for this decision, but he stressed that Levi Strauss has “never been afraid to take an unpopular stand to support a greater good.”

[Comment: that last sentence should be “never been afraid to take an unpopular stand to support a globalist goal.”

Over Half the U.S. Has Now Been Hit by Drought as Lake Powell and Lake Mead Drop to “Dangerous” Low Levels

The worst drought in years in the western half of the United States has sparked hundreds of wildfires, has crippled thousands of farms, and has produced what could ultimately be the worst water crisis in modern American history. As you will see below, Lake Powell and Lake Mead have both dropped to dangerously low levels, and officials are warning that we may soon be looking at a substantial shortfall which would require rationing. Unfortunately, many in the eastern half of the country don’t even realize that this is happening. The mighty Colorado River once seemed to be virtually invulnerable, but now it doesn’t even run all the way to the ocean any longer. Demand for water is continually increasing as major cities in the Southwest continue to grow, and this is happening at a time when that entire region just keeps getting drier and drier. To say that we are facing a “water crisis” would be a major understatement.

I have written quite a bit about the drought in the Southwest in recent months, and it just keeps getting worse. According to Forbes, more than half the nation is now experiencing some level of drought…

Pirro: Trump Was ‘Framed’ By Mueller, Weissmann

During Sunday’s “The Cats Roundtable” on New York AM 970 radio, Fox News “Justice” host Jeanine Pirro declared that President Donald Trump was “framed” in “an attempt to prevent the outsider” from being elected.

“[W]e find out on Friday that Andrew Weissmann — the top dog of the Mueller prosecution or special counsel team — he was involved with Bruce Ohr and knew everything about the dossier: That it was fake, he knew it was false. And, as a result of that, you’ve got a fake dossier being handed to a FISA court judge. And now Mueller is investigating Trump for this? And the truth is that Weissmann knew about it,” Pirro told host John Catsimatidis. “Nobody is looking at the corruption. It’s all one-sided, the corruption on the part of the Democrats. And this president was framed, John. It’s that simple.”

President Trump Was Right — Obama Must Have Signed Off to Spy on Trump if it Did Not Go Through FISA Court!

TGP reported over the weekend that it appears that the reason there was no FISA Court hearing on the Carter Page FISA warrant was because Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch forced through the application per an obscure loophole in the law. We next reported this Labor Day morning that if this is correct, then likely AG Sessions or Rosenstein pushed through any extensions after President Trump took office. Now we’ve unlocked a bombshell and it’s worse! President Obama would have had to approve the Carter Page warrant per law in order for the spying to proceed without a court hearing. The rule is described on page 7 of 1978 FISA Act!

Texas Doctors Say They Saw Kavanaugh Protesters Being Paid Off Before Hearing

Image shows woman who was later arrested being given cash

Three doctors said they personally witnessed protesters being paid off before the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearing, which was disrupted by unruly demonstrators.

A total of 70 people were arrested during the hearing after many of them began screeching incoherently in an effort to derail the event.

Activist Adam Schindler interviewed three doctors from Texas who suggested that the entire protest was far from organic.

“One thing was there were people who had come along… who had a bag of money, and people would hand them a piece of paper, and then they would give them money. So we know money was exchanged for some of the people to be here, just to protest,” said Dr. Tom Schlueter.

The Original Originalist

As a stoical Robert Bork sat before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the morning of September 15, 1987, surrounded by reporters, klieg lights, and television cameras, the 60-year-old jurist could look back on an accomplished career. For five and a half years, he had served on the D.C. Circuit, considered the nation’s most prestigious court other than the U.S. Supreme Court. Bork had also been a Marine, a successful antitrust litigator, a law professor, solicitor general, and acting attorney general of the United States. But as he faced committee chairman Joe Biden and his hostile Democratic colleagues, including Ted Kennedy, Howard Metzenbaum, Robert Byrd, Patrick Leahy, and Paul Simon, the cerebral Bork was ill-suited—and disinclined—to duplicate the dramatic performance given in the same hearing room a few months earlier, when the telegenic Lt. Col. Oliver North parried with a joint congressional committee investigating the Iran-Contra affair. Against the urging of his handlers, and with his nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Ronald Reagan hanging in the balance, Bork made no attempt to emulate North, believing that such rhetorical flair was undignified for a judge.

Instead, during an unprecedented five days of grilling, Bork chose to answer the committee’s questions “matter-of-factly” and to explain his view of judging “fully.” The media coverage, featuring the judge’s lengthy, dispassionate responses, failed to rally the American public in his favor, unlike North’s gripping testimony. Ultimately, despite Bork’s stellar credentials, the Senate voted him down, largely on party grounds—an outcome that coined the now-ubiquitous term “borking.”

Bork’s defeat was a watershed event in judicial politics, and reverberates still—it prevented a conservative realignment of the Court (due to the appointment of moderate Justice Anthony Kennedy in place of Bork) and forever transformed the judicial-confirmation process into an ideological gauntlet.

[…]

The saga of Bork’s confirmation hearing—the most contentious in the nation’s history and one of the riveting political dramas of modern times—has begun to recede from public consciousness. Thirty years later, and more than a half-decade after Bork’s 2012 death, it’s worth recalling those events and the man at the center of them.[…]

Delingpole: Trump Vindicated as Paris Climate Agreement Unravels

The Paris Climate Agreement is a dead non-binding treaty walking. All the signatories know this, none of them will admit it. So instead, we have to endure the ritual spectacle of UN delegates racking up yet more air miles and dumping their carbon footprint on a new location in order to wail hysterically that much, much more needs to be done to save the planet from the greatest threat evah.

This week the UN’s clown caravan has moved to Bangkok, Thailand — the preliminary to an even bigger meeting, COP24, in December in Katowice, Poland.

As the South China Morning Post reports, the auguries aren’t good:

Time is running out to save the Paris Agreement, United Nations climate experts warned Tuesday at a key Bangkokmeeting, as rich nations were accused of shirking their responsibility for environmental damage.

That’s because — just as they were in Paris 2015 — the negotiations are caught between a rock and a hard place.

Western countries don’t want to stump up for what is essentially an attempted shakedown by poorer countries demanding more handouts in the name of “climate justice.”

EU in ‘Mortal Danger’: These Four Member States ‘Want to Destroy Us’ Rages Brussels Boss

THE European Union is in “mortal danger” because a number of nations want to destroy it, budget Commissioner Günther Oettinger has sensationally claimed.

The Brussels boss said Europe would only be able to show it remains capable of being strong against a number of challenges facing it if national leaders and the European Parliament could quickly agree the EU’s next long-term budget.

Speaking at an event organised by Germany’s Federal Association of Non-Statutory Welfare Services on Tuesday evening, Mr Oettinger picked out four countries the EU has been feuding with as ones that want to “weaken or even destroy” it.

EU Ombudswoman Publishes Damning Report on Juncker’s Right Hand Martin Selmayr’s Appointment as Highest Civil Servant. No-One Cares

n 27 February, The Old Continent reported on European Commission President Juncker’s right hand Martin Selmayr’s appointment to the position of the EU’s highest-ranking civil servant: Secretary-General to the Secretariat-General of the European Commission. At the time, TOC wrote that Selmayr bent the rules to secure his new position. But a ‘Recommendation’ written by the European Ombudsman now finds that the bending was to the breaking point. Not just by Selmayr.

Never a popular appointment, opposition against Selmayr started early and started strong. Although news from Brussels is never particularly popular in the various national news circles, the ruckus made in European Parliament was loud enough to cross borders. One good example of this is an interview with Frans Timmermans, Vice-President of the European Commission. Published by Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad on 15 March, it basically treats #SelmayrGate as a failure to communicate.

Italy: Working to Scrap Fornero, And for Flat Tax — Salvini

Fiscal peace, less red tape, Euitalia disputes, petrol tax

(ANSA) — Rome, September 4 — The government is working to scrap the 2011 Fornero pension reform and to bring in a flat tax, Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini said Tuesday.

“We discussed the numbers, accounts and timeframes to achieve within the arc of the legislature our proposals for families and businesses: dismantling the Fornero law, flat tax, fiscal peace and closure of the disputes with Equitalia, less bureaucracy for firms and VAT holders, elimination of the oldest levies on petrol, intervention for comuni, a major national plan for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance”, he said after his League held a summit on the economy.

Some experts dout whether the government will have the financial cover to fund scrapping the Fornero law, bring in a flat tax and also pay for the flagship policy pledge of the 5-Star MOvement, a universal basic income.

The League-5 Star government will have a long life if it “respects its duties towards

Mother: Girl Contracted Life-Threatening Infection From Trying on Shoes

The mother of a four-year-old girl suffering from a life-threatening bacterial infection says her daughter contracted the disease while trying on shoes without socks. Allegedly, the United Kingdom mom claims the foot infection was spread to her child after other little girls tried on the same shoes.

“The shoes she liked had been tried on by other little girls and that’s how Sienna picked up the infection,” Jodi Thomas of South Wales, told The Sun. Thomas now wants to warn others about the dangers of trying on shoes in public stores without wearing socks.

It all began the day after Thomas’ daughter tried on shoes in a store. She said her daughter, Sienna, was crying in agony the day after their shopping trip, and that the infection soon spread up her leg causing the little girl to get a high temperature, according to a report by Fox News. “I drove her straight to the hospital, she was shaking and twitching — it was horrible to see my little girl like that,” Thomas told The Sun. “They said it was sepsis and thought they would have to operate.”

Sepsis occurs when a bacterial infection reaches the bloodstream and a massive immune system response takes place. Sepsis can lead to organ failure. It is also often known as “blood poisoning.”

‘Too Young to Prosecute’: German Police Drop Case of 10yo Afghan Boy Who Raped Classmate

German authorities have dropped a case in which a 10-year-old Afghan boy raped a classmate during a school trip while Syrian and Afghan accomplices held him down, as the perpetrators are apparently not old enough to be tried.

The incident began when 38 students from a Berlin school went on a field trip to Schloss Kröchlendorff, a castle in Nordwestuckermark, Germany. The students were supposed to have a fun day out enjoying nature — but that wasn’t possible for everyone.

The best that can apparently be done is to stop the main perpetrator from attending a normal school with other students.

UK: London Mayor Sadiq Kahn “Has No Plan” To Fight London Crime: Former Top Adviser

London Mayor Sadiq Kahn has been dressed down in a scathing attack by former Metropolitan Police superintendent Leroy Logan, who says that Kahn has no “coherent strategy” to fight violent crime in London, reports the Evening Standard following a special investigative series.

In a scathing attack, former Metropolitan Police superintendent Leroy Logan accused the Mayor of adopting an “enforcement approach” and failing to properly build trust with communities.

He said: “The results speak for themselves, he is failing and unfortunately there are young people dying on the street because of that.” —Evening Standard

Recall in April we reported that London had surpassed New York City’s murder rate for a second month in a row due to a surge in knife attacks.

Logan’s comments appear in day two of the Standard’s special investigation into Kahn’s record as Mayor. The audit covers four main categories which Londoners listed as their top priorities in 2016 when Kahn ran for office. The London mayor has failed spectacularly on crime, the Standard reveals, despite Kahn’s manifesto promising to “challenge gang culture and knife crime head-on” by beefing up neighborhood policing.

China Increasing Spanish, Portuguese Language Study to Expand Latin America Influence

[…]

The growth in language study appears tied to China’s aggressive expansion into Latin America, where Beijing has used predatory loans and grand infrastructure projects to boost diplomatic relations with the continent. The country has developed its closest relations with other communist or socialist regimes including Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Bolivia.

China’s interest in Latin America has caused concern in Washington. President Donald Trump’s 2018 National Security Strategy highlights China as a “strategic competitor” in the region, also citing the rise of Chinese traffickers of the synthetic opioid fentanyl through Latin America.

China has also increased pressure on Latin American countries to cut ties to Taiwan as the region has been traditionally friendly to the democratic island nation. This month, El Salvador became the third Latin American country after Panama and the Dominican Republic to bow to pressure from Beijing and no longer recognize Taiwan as an independent state, a decision the State Department denounced as of “great concern.”

China Declares Islam an ‘Incurable Tumour’ And a ‘Poisonous Medicine’

China sees Islam as a growing problem and has increased its actions against Uighur Muslims in the country. According to UN and U.S. officials, around one million Muslims have been put in Chinese internment camps until now.

Inmates told that in the camps Muslims are forced to reject Islam and learn Communist Party songs every day. Other reports say that inmates are forced to eat pork and drink alcohol.

While the camps were at first created to battle extremism of Uighur Muslims, now even a long beard — as part of a Muslim identity — can result in being sent to a re-education camp. The consequence is that almost every Uighur Muslim risks to be sent away for ‘re-education’.

Germany: Syrian Refugees Attack Nightclub, Beat Guests, Shout “Allahu Akbar!”

Chaotic scenes in Frankfurt as culprits scream “We are Arabs, we’ll kill you all!”

Muslim migrants armed with knives and metal bars attacked a nightclub in Frankfurt while screaming “Allahu Akbar” and “we are Arabs, we’ll kill you all!” during chaotic scenes in Frankfurt last week.

The incident began when two Syrian refugees started an argument in the Frog club, which was hosting a 90’s night, and “started provoking and harassing guests,” the club owner Dirk Schöbe told Berliner Morgenpost.

The two men began screaming, “we are Arabs, we’ll kill you all!” as guests panicked.

The culprits initially left the club but then returned with a large group of friends. Around 10 migrants armed with iron bars and knives then shouted, “We’ll kill you, we’ll kill you” and “Allahu Akbar,” which is Arabic for ‘God is great’ and is a mantra often said by terrorists immediately before an attack.

According to the chief prosecutor in the case, guests were then attacked and beaten while the gang threw stones at the building and at the victims.

“It was a war scene,” said Schöbe, adding, “We were celebrating ‘90s — and suddenly we were in the war zone, not in our hometown, it was spooky.”

Several guests attempted to hide under cars while others sought refuge within the nightclub as the migrants attempted to stab people.

“It was pure horror, sheer horror, people were hit by stones, it was indiscriminate,” said Schöbe.

“We had to see if there were any dead or seriously injured people,” he added, noting that it was “unbelievable luck” nobody was seriously injured.

According to the prosecutor, all ten of the attackers were Syrian refugees.

Investigation: Potentially 39m Cases of Identity Theft by Illegal Aliens in Last Four Years

There have been potentially 39 million cases in the last four years in which Americans have had their identities and Social Security Numbers stolen by illegal aliens, a new investigation reveals.

During an interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight, executive director of the Immigration Reform Law Insitute (IRLI) Dale Wilcox revealed to Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour that their latest investigation revealed 39 million cases between 2012 and 2016 where names on W-2 tax forms did not match corresponding Social Security records.

If each fraudulent Social Security Number user submitted only one W-2 form a year under a fake identity, this still amounts to nearly ten million individuals using stolen identities of American citizens. There are more than 12 million illegal aliens currently living in the United States.

Wilcox said American children are the most vulnerable to illegal aliens stealing their identities and using their Social Security Numbers to work in the country.

Italy: ECHR on Unlawful Migrant Detention in Salvini File

Italy found guilty for 3 Tunisians in 2016

(ANSA) — Palermo, September 4 — A two-year-old sentence by the European Court of Human Rights on Italy’s illegal detention of three Tunisian migrants is cited in the file Agrigento prosecutors have sent to Palermo colleagues on the alleged kidnapping by Interior Minister Matteo Salvini of 177 Eritrean migrants on board the Diciotti coast guard ship, legal sources said Tuesday.

In the 2016 ruling, Italy was found guilty of unlawfully holding the three at a migrant centre on Lampedusa and subsequently on board two ships. Salvini is also facing charges of illegal detention and abuse of office, among other things, in the case where he refused to let the migrants land unless the EU first said it would take them.

Most of the migrants were eventually taken by Italian bishops, with 20 taken by both Ireland and Albania.

Missing in Action: The American Flag on the Moon

Ryan Gosling admits he sees things as a Canadian. So it is all right for Gosling to see himself as a Canadian, but it is not all right for Neil Armstrong to see himself an American?

During the Second World War, Oskar Schindler escaped the clutches of the Gestapo by claiming that “his” Jews were doing essential war work. But Schindler also did something that, had it been discovered, he would have been tortured and executed. He stole guns and gave them to “his” Jews, so that they could defend themselves.

The film “Schindler’s List” ran 3 hours 15 minutes, yet somehow there was no time to include this incident. An anti-gun agenda was apparently more important to the filmmakers than the depiction of this dramatic and revealing incident.

Rewriting history and erasing images are symptoms of budding totalitarianism. The moon landing was “one giant step for mankind.” Omitting the planting of the American flag is another small step away from freedom and toward totalitarianism. Totalitarians do not really care whether you believe their lies. If you do, you help to maintain their power. If, however, you do not believe the lies, yet are forced to repeat them, you admit that you have sold your mind — and perhaps your soul.

New Study Reveals Most People Don’t Want to Date Transgenders… LGBT Activists Claim That’s Proof of “Discrimination”

A presumably large sum of money was recently spent on conducting a full-scale study to determine whether or not the average normal person is interested in dating a transgender. And the results are about as enlightening as learning that the sky is blue.

Published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, the paper reveals that the vast majority of society has absolutely no interest in being intimately involved with people who erroneously believe that they’re something other than what their biological body parts dictate — a matter-of-fact finding that apparently “surprised” the LGBT mafia, which was quick to declare it as more “proof” of so-called “transphobia.”…

This was very upsetting to the writers at Them.us, a pro-LGBT blog that was quick to chastise normal people for not wanted to spend their lives with mentally-ill, gender-dysphoric significant others who, on top of being certifiably crazy, tend to be militant as they demand that everyone accept them for “who they are.”…

But suffice all of this gibberish to say that if you don’t feel like spending your life with a mentally-ill person who’s mutilated his, her, zer, or whatever’s body parts to try to become the opposite sex, or someone who’s in the process of doing so, then you’re a bigot, a sexist, and a discriminatory meanie who deserves to be deprived of your personhood and dignity, according to the cult of LGBT.

Anything short of total acceptance, approval, promotion, and now adoption of the always-expanding and ever-evolving LGBT agenda is considered to be “intolerant” and “hateful.” In other words, if you’re personally disgusted by the thought of dating a transgender, which almost everyone is, then you’re the problem, according to LGBT dogma.

Truth be told, it’s actually the deranged LGBTers that are now trying to force normal folks to get busy with their own kind that are the intolerant and hateful ones. It’s not too far-fetched to imagine that, someday, the cult of LGBT might try to mandate that people date transgenders in order to manifest their vision of “equality” and “acceptance.”

Snowflake Alert: College Bias Response Team Intended for Students Who Feel “Disrespected”

College campuses are doing little to quell the pervasiveness of the snowflake culture amongst young people, and are, in fact, cultivating it with the use of “safe spaces.” The latest example of this can be seen at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, where students are now being invited to report to the school’s bias response team if they feel “belittled, disrespected, or isolated based on their identity.”

How People Become Easily Controlled by Tyrants

To come to terms with how tyrants control society, we must first examine how the mind of a tyrant operates, because these people do not in most cases think the way average human beings think. It is one of the few cases in which I would encourage people to “otherize” another group. Tyrants are psychologically abnormal to such an extreme that is is difficult to classify them as human.

I believe the key to understanding the motivations of tyrants and where these people come from rests on our understanding of narcissistic sociopathy. I wrote about this extensively in my article ‘Global Elitists Are Not Human,’so I will only give a summary here.

Narcissistic and sociopathic traits, like many psychological traits, are inborn. They are present in about 5% to 10% of any society at any given time. In the vast majority of cases, these traits remain “latent” and do not affect a person’s actions or relationships to a great extent. In a minority of cases, however, narcissism and sociopathy become the defining factors of a person’s psyche. This occurs in less that 1% of a population.

To be clear, not all narcissists are sociopaths and not all sociopaths are narcissists. There are people who are low level narcissists who excel in society and retain a conscience. There are low level sociopaths in society that serve important functions in careers that empathetic people would find difficult, such as certain jobs in the military, or in the medical field. What I am referring to here are HIGH LEVEL narcissistic sociopaths — the kind of people that become murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and yes, tyrants.

A sociopathic narcissist is motivated by personal desire only. They are incapable of empathy for others and see people as a kind of food and fuel source rather than fellow travelers in life. They consider their lack of conscience as an evolutionary advantage; a tool that helps them to survive and thrive by trampling, stealing, manipulating and killing if necessary without guilt or regret.

You would think these creatures would be easy to pick out in a crowd, but it is not always so simple. They have the ability to mimic behaviors of those around them in order to appear more human. Sometimes this does give them away because they can’t help but parrot or steal behaviors and mannerisms from people they meet to the point of obviousness. For those inexperienced with narcissistic sociopaths, though, the tactic works for a time, because what people think they see is someone just like them; a reflection. Imagine it as a survival mechanism, like a chameleon.

  1. “German Islam” isn’t going to change a thing, “no islam in Germany” is the only way things can slowly return to their proper order. Though I guess this step is still better than all the other options presented so far.

  2. Pay attention to how the Russian media now provide information.
The title (which appears in the news feed):

A resident of St. Petersburg is accused of rape of a pregnant woman.

    Next is the main text:

According to the investigation, a citizen of Uzbekistan raped a pregnant woman and stole her phone.
In St. Petersburg, Sherzotdzhon Safarov was charged with the signs of crimes envisaged in paragraph “b” of Part 2 of Art. 131, item “g” Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code (rape, robbery). This is reported by the Investigative Committee of St. Petersburg.

From the materials of the case it follows that a 26-year-old man on the night of May 12 of this year near one of the houses on Ravenstva Street (street Equality in translation ) attacked a local woman born in 1988 who was late in pregnancy and raped her.

It turns out that the headings cannot bear the nationality and the name of the offender, but it is possible to blacken the inhabitants of the “cultural capital”.

  3. Sadly at this point the only option to stop the mass invasion of Europe by third world people is to sink the boats and machine guns at land borders.

But most people in Europe have no guts for that.

Things will have to get a lot worse before they get better.

  4. The Deep State will not stop.
The Deep State will not stop.

You’re not seeing double, you’re seeing trouble.

  5. ITALY’S far-right Interior Minister Matteo Salvini on Monday implied France was responsible for the fresh violence in Libya and for plunging the lawless country into a permanent state of turmoil in the first place

Not for the first time. It was France’s insistence on their share of the rotting Ottoman Empire, that forced Churchill to land British troops in Gallipoli, rather than Syria, (which France had earmarked for herself) with catastrophic results.

  6. “The Number of Germans Killed by Foreigners Highest in Many Years“

Seems like a lot of things in Germany are at their highest point since 1945….rapes, murders, government censorship…..

  7. In other news, Cyprus — which has a larger number of migrants per capita than any other EU member state… The Greek part of the island or the Turkish?
