Gates of Vienna News Feed 8/7/2018

Spain is now the preferred destination for migrants crossing the Mediterranean, so Spanish authorities have set up the country’s first refugee camp. The facility will be able to hold up to 600 people for a maximum of 72 hours.

In other news, Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini will fund a program to reverse Italy’s demographic crisis by imposing a tax on the money transfers that migrants send overseas.

Alex Jones: Tech Giants Running Circles Around ‘Incredibly Stupid’ Republican Lawmakers

Radio host Alex Jones blasted Republicans Monday for their handling of congressional hearings on Internet censorship after Silicon Valley corporations banned Infowars from their platforms in a coordinated burst.

Alex Jones began: “Well, Matt Drudge almost got it 100 percent right. If you go to drudgereport.com, you see a big red apple that says Apple regulates hate. But Apple officially four months ago moved to China, gave them the code keys to the Internet and announced they would begin mass web censorship — not just in China, but worldwide — and they actually said that ‘well, it’s normal to be state-run when you are in China.’ Where they now pay zero percent taxes.

“Then last week, a top engineer, there’s only reportedly only 200 people that had access to it, reported on a secret called Operation Dragonfly, where they were constructing a total web censorship tool for China but also testing it out on conservatives, Christians, and nationalists here…

“America has been sold. Trump has desperately tried to get in there and change this and basically negotiate something where we’re not totally subservient and China, the EU, Davos have all said ‘no, we’re going to crush the American people.’ Jack Dorsey said we’re going to crush this nationalist, Trump, conservative movement. He said that six months ago — ‘We’re going to crush you.’“

The radio host continued, “I went over this yesterday on the last stream show we put on the Alex Jones Channel. Here’s the news, ten minutes before we went live, the Alex Jones Channel that had 2.5 billion views. They dialed it back to 1.6 billion views, 2.5 million subscribers, said it was terminated. That’s breaking here now. So, Facebook, Apple, Spotify all banned us some time last night and gave the fake folks at Piss-Feed, BuzzFeed, yellow journalism feed, the breaking news. Right before we went live, I said, ‘check the Alex Jones Channel.’

“See, I told the crew last week, they said, ‘Oh, they’re just playing games with you, they already shadowbanned you, they’re not going to have the nerve to outright ban us,’ and I said, ‘no, they are.’ Because this is the amount of propaganda you see before you invade a country. Well, they’re invading the First Amendment. They are setting the precedent to shut us down.

California Fires: Government Policies, Not Global Warming

As large swaths of California are yet again on fire, environmentalist groups, the leftist media, and Democratic California Governor Jerry Brown are quick to blame climate change. But the burning in California has more to do with misguided and short-sighted environmental regulations than with weather or climate.

CNN: The Most Hated Name in Fake News

CNN is a subversive organization, and their goal is to overthrow our duly elected President

People like Jim Acosta, Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, Don Lemon and all the other political propagandists, who rant and rave on the mainstream media, are not journalists. They are false propagandists. In plain language, they are nothing more than manure spreaders of fake news. They incite their uninformed followers to violence by feeding them a steady diet of horse manure, but whine and complain when they are given a dose of their own medicine. Maybe they believe what they are saying, but that just proves how conniving, uninformed and ignorant they really are.

CNN may be the most disrespectful and hated fake news, but they are more than just fake news. CNN is a subversive organization, and their goal is to overthrow our duly elected President. They incite and support anger and violence against the President, his administration and his supporters. They are seditious propagandists, and they should be called the enemy of the people because they are. If they weren’t enemies of the people, they would not be relentlessly attacking the President, members of his administration and his supporters relentlessly. They wouldn’t be trying to tear the country apart if they were not enemies of the people.

Did DARPA Just Develop Autonomous Drones to Hunt Humans?

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA) latest creation of the Fast Lightweight Autonomy (FLA) program, a new class of algorithms for quick drone navigation in cluttered environments, reminds us of the 2013 American post-apocalyptic science fiction film, Oblivion. Here is a short clip of Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) in the movie, battling against killer drones that use artificial intelligence to navigate and hunt ‘alien scavengers’, and moments before this scene, it was revealed to Harper that alien scavengers were actually humans…

While DARPA’s FLA program has yet to mount a directed energy weapon with enough kilowatts to blast a human into smithereens, it seems like the agency responsible for emerging technologies for use by the military has entered into Phase two flight tests — demonstrating advanced algorithms in drones could autonomously perform tasks dangerous for humans — such as pre-mission reconnaissance on the modern battlefield in a hostile urban setting.

So, yes, this confirms DARPA is developing human-hunting drones, however, it is more on a reconnaissance basis, rather than human-killing drones in Oblivion.

Facebook to Banks: Give us Our Users’ Financial Data and We’ll Let Them Bank With Facebook

Facebook wants to “deepen user engagement” with Messenger, and to that end, it’s been pitching America’s giant banks on joint enterprises where Facebook will get to see all your financial info (especially info on where you’re shopping and what you’re buying) to help it suck you into using Messenger for longer.

In return, Facebook offered to let the banks do business through its platform, allowing Facebook users to transact business and manage their finance through Facebook Messenger.

However, it promised the banks that the financial data they turned over wouldn’t be shared with third parties.

[comment: Face-”Build your own Dossier”-book is a globalist tool of subversion. Under no circumstances should they have any access to information of any real value such as financial data.]

Antifa, who brand themselves as ‘anti-fascist’ groups have become increasingly aggressive in the USA since the election of Donald Trump, just yesterday members of Antifa drove out Conservative activists Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk from a restaurant in Philadelphia.

Florida Armed Bystander Stops Gunman at Crowded Back-to-School Event at Park, Police Say

An armed bystander shot a man who opened fire at a Florida park filled with over 100 people — including children — for a Saturday back-to-school cookout, officials said.

The Titusville Police Department said in a news release the man was involved in a fistfight with another person at the Issac Campbell Park and left around 5:20 p.m. — only to return with a gun minutes later and start shooting.

A bystander, who was lawfully licensed to carry a firearm, then shot the gunman.

“We are extremely grateful that nobody else was injured in this incident,” Deputy Chief Todd Hutchinson said in a statement. “This suspect opened fire at a crowded public park. This could have been so much worse.”

Forgotten History: US Bankers Financing US Enemies — and Why it is Important Now

by Jon Rappoport
August 6, 2018

In 1971, Gary Allen published his book, None Dare Call it Conspiracy. It quickly became an unofficial best seller.

Over the years, several million copies have been sold.

Allen’s thesis was stark: super-rich American capitalists were financing socialism. This bizarre paradox was resolved when socialism was properly understood—not as “power to the people”—but as elite power over the people. In other words, as a hoax.

These days, the socialist hoax is still unknown to most of the population.

Cloak a global power grab as progress for all of humanity.

Here, from chapter six of None Dare Call it Conspiracy, “The Rockefellers and the Reds,” is a devastating passage commenting on the period just after the Russian Revolution of 1917:

“The Rockefellers assigned their public relations agent, Ivy Lee, to sell the American public the idea that the Bolsheviks were merely misunderstood idealists who were actually kind benefactors of mankind.”

“Professor Antony Sutton of Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, notes in his highly authoritative Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development:”…

“Professor Sutton proves conclusively in his three volume history of Soviet technological development that the Soviet Union was almost literally manufactured by the U.S.A…”

“…Sutton shows that there is hardly a segment of the Soviet economy which is not a result of the transference of Western, particularly American, technology.”

Is Democratic Senator Mark Warner the Mastermind Behind Weaponizing US Tech Giants?

Authored by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog

In a corporatist system of government, wherein there is no meaningful separation between corporate power and state power, corporate censorship is state censorship. Because legalized bribery in the form of corporate lobbying and campaign donations has given wealthy Americans the ability to control the US government’s policy and behavior while ordinary Americans have no effective influence whatsoever, the US unquestionably has a corporatist system of government. Large, influential corporations are inseparable from the state, so their use of censorship is inseparable from state censorship.

This is especially true of the vast megacorporations of Silicon Valley, whose extensive ties to US intelligence agencies are well-documented. Once you’re assisting with the construction of the US military’s drone program, receiving grants from the CIA and NSA for mass surveillance, or having your site’s content regulated by NATO’s propaganda arm, you don’t get to pretend you’re a private, independent corporation that is separate from government power. It is possible in the current system to have a normal business worth a few million dollars, but if you want to get to billions of dollars in wealth control in a system where money translates directly to political power, you need to work with existing power structures like the CIA and the Pentagon, or else they’ll work with your competitors instead of you.

— From the Caitlin Johnstone post: In A Corporatist System Of Government, Corporate Censorship Is State Censorship

Let’s be clear about something up front because it’s extremely important. This narrative that three tech giants, Apple, Google and Facebook all decided independently and simultaneously to de-platform Alex Jones without any threats or pressure from U.S. politicians and other powerful forces behind the scenes is pure fantasy. This isn’t private companies doing that private company thing, this is Silicon Valley oligarchs making a decision to appease politicians and the status quo system which made them billionaires in order to avoid regulation.

Lefties Celebrate Alex Jones Ban

Banning Alex Jones has very little to do with dead children or hate speech. It’s about the government and its corporate partners taking back the media so it can resume the urgent task of propagandizing the American people and thus gain their ill-informed consensus for endless war and the perpetuation of rigged economic and political systems.

Marxists Continue to Lie and Defend Jihadis in America

Enemies of the United States continue to lie and provide cover for jihadis in the U.S. while defaming those speaking truth about real threats to the Republic.

In an article entitled “American Islamophobia’s Fake Facts” published July 31, 2018 in a little-known online blog, the author lies and defends terrorists (jihadis) in an attempt to challenge the mountain of evidence reagarding the Islamic Movement in the United States.

While the article may never be read by more than a handful of people, the arguments in it are often raised by those collaborating with America’s enemies, so UTT thinks it wise to give our readers they ammunition they need to defeat these false and often nonsensical comments.

The article in question can be found here.

Pinterest Removes Alex Jones and Infowars From Platform in Response to Mashable Press Enquiry

The social media platform Pinterest has removed Alex Jones and Infowars from its service in response to a press request by media website Mashable.

In the wake of Jones’ banning from multiple platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Spotify, and the Apple app store, Pinterest responded to a press enquiry by Mashable’s technology correspondent Jack Morse.

“It’s hard out there for conspiracy-theory peddling, dietary-supplement hawking, tormentors of grieving parents,” Morse wrote in his story. “But hope shines eternal in the human breast, and for Alex Jones that breast was starting to look a lot like Pinterest. Until Mashable emailed the social-sharing platform, that is.”

After enquiring as to why Jones had not been yet censored from the platform, citing community guidelines that ban “attacks on private people or sharing of personally identifiable information,” Pinterest duly responded to the request by removing Jones and InfoWars from the platform.

Stuart Varney Warns Democrats: Stop the Socialist “Pie-in-the Sky” Delusion

Stuart Varney warns Democrats: “Let’s be clear: Venezuela is done. It is not our fault. Not our responsibility. But it’s a strong warning to the pie-in-the-sky socialist dreamers.”

The Venezuelan government just urged its citizens to eat their pet rabbits so they won’t starve to death. A severe food crisis is part of the socialist utopia that just keeps going downhill. What’s next? Cannibalism?

President Nicolas Maduro unveiled a government program called “Plan Rabbit” at a meeting with his agriculture minister, Freddy Bernal, that was broadcast on Periscope, CNN Money reported. It’s a plan to distribute rabbits to communities across Venezuela to breed and eat. Maduro noted that rabbits breed quickly and are a good source of protein, but not cholesterol.

The American Empire and Its Media

Largely unbeknownst to the general public, executives and top journalists of almost all major US news outlets have long been members of the influential Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Established in 1921 as a private, bipartisan organization to “awaken America to its worldwide responsibilities”, the CFR and its close to 5000 elite members have for decades shaped U.S. foreign policy and public discourse about it. They envision the creation of a global empire, albeit a “benevolent” one.

Based on official membership rosters, the following illustration for the first time depicts the extensive media network of the CFR and its two main international affiliate organizations: the Bilderberg Group (covering mainly the U.S. and Europe) and the Trilateral Commission (covering North America, Europe and East Asia), both established by Council leaders to foster elite cooperation at the global level.

[Comment: Never like the term “American Empire”, more accurately it is a “Globalist Empire”/”Deep State Empire” that uses America’s own resources against America and the rest of the world. These globalists function exactly like SPECTRE of James Bond movies. Placing their people in key positions within nation states.]

Trump Derangement Syndrome: A Prelude to Anarchy

The left is pressuring society to accept Orwellian doublespeak. They want you to accept feelings as facts, subjective reality as objective reality, and insanity as sanity.

The election of President Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the emotional stability of those living in subjective reality because they cannot tolerate the threat of objective reality that President Trump represents. The clash between subjective reality and objective reality has launched what is now known as Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDR) or more recently Trump Anxiety Disorder (TAD). The incursion of objective reality is so threatening to anti-Trumpers that they break down psychologically and require medication and psychological services.

In times of severe emotional stress such as death, divorce, loss of a job, it is not uncommon for individuals to have a period of adjustment when they need time to come to terms with the reality of their new situation. In extreme cases of traumatic stress individuals may even withdraw from reality until they are strong enough to deal with the facts of their new situation. What is different about anti-Trumpers is that their coping mechanisms are so underdeveloped that they are traumatized by election outcomes and refuse to accept the loss of their preferred candidate. What happens? They suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDR).

Mark Alexander posted an article he wrote 8.1.18 titled, “Therapists Rebrand ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’“ exploring the subject:

“The pop culture Urban Dictionary defines Trump Derangement Syndrome as “a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the point at which they will abandon all logic and reason. Symptoms for this condition can be very diverse, ranging from hysterical outbursts to a complete mental break. . . I would suggest that the increasing frequency and intensity of hysterics associated with TDR is greatly exacerbated by the unmitigated, constant consumption of hateful Democrat/mainstream media propaganda, 24/7/365. The result is a mass movement of those so intent on undermining Trump that they are now far off the reality reservation and utterly obsessed with defeating peace and prosperity.”

U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy: Big Tech ‘Must Do More Than Take Down’ Infowars

Murphy is calling for “websites” to be taken down — entire websites.

U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) is calling on social media monopolies to “do more than take down one website,” meaning take down more websites on top of InfoWars, which was de-platformed by YouTube, Facebook, and others on Monday.

“Infowars [sic] is the tip of a giant iceberg of hate and lies that uses sites like Facebook and YouTube to tear our nation apart,” Murphy tweeted Monday afternoon. “These companies must do more than take down one website. The survival of our democracy depends on it.”

Obviously, what Murphy sees here is an opportunity to go around the First Amendment, to kill free and open speech he disagrees with, and to accomplish that using social media giants as his hit squad.

Democrats and the establishment media are desperate to return America back to the pre-Internet days when a very few corporations controlled the free flow of information, those corporations being the four television networks and a handful of newspapers and wire services.

Conservatives now find themselves, once again, in the precarious position of being at the mercy of just a handful of companies: Twitter, Facebook, Apple, YouTube, Pinterest, etc… And what Murphy and his left-wing confederates want is to crush speech, to control the flow of information, to strangle certain ideas in the crib, and to use these monopolies as a way to go back to the “good old days” when the left-wing establishment fully controlled the dissemination of news.

Britain Welcomes Radicals — Again and Again

It is more than a year since the UK suffered three Islamist terrorist attacks in quick succession. It is also more than a year since the Prime Minister, Theresa May, stood on the steps of Downing Street and announced that ‘enough is enough’.

Yet the striking aspect of the last year has been how little has changed.

Consider, for instance, the lax controls on extremist preachers that the UK had in place in 2016. As reported here at the time, in the summer of that year, two Pakistani clerics performed a tour of the UK. Their seven-week roadshow took in numerous UK hotspots including Rochdale, Rotherham, Oldham and the Prime Minister’s own constituency of Maidenhead. The two clerics — Muhammad Naqib ur Rehman and Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman — began their tour by visiting the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at Lambeth Palace for a meeting on ‘interfaith relations’.

On Saturday, my suspicions that Macron would not be interested in the slightest in helping Theresa May get the EU to budge were proven right. The Mailreported that Macron refused to help break the Brexit deadlock, telling Mrs. May that he stands behind the EU’s negotiators.

Nigel Farage Rages at Conservative Censorship: “This Isn’t Capitalism, It’s Corporatism & Autocracy”

Authored by Nigel Farage, op-ed via FoxNews.com

The big tech giants are moving fast against the political right, the libertarian radicals, and those walking away from the Democrat Party in the United States. The same applies in my country, the United Kingdom, too.

Over the weekend we saw Candace Owens, a strong, young, black woman suspended from Twitter for daring to point out the allegedly algorithmic hypocrisy of Twitter by replacing the word “white” with “Jewish” in a series of tweets modeled on those by New York Times editor Sarah Jeong.

While the social media giant quickly backtracked, the same cannot be said for its treatment of right-wingers or globalist opponents in other regards.

Social Media is Making Children Regress to Mentality of Three-Year-Olds, Says Top Brain Scientist

Social media and video games are creating a generation of children with the mental and emotional immaturity of three-year-olds, one of Britain’s most eminent brain scientists has warned.

Baroness Susan Greenfield, a senior research fellow at Oxford University and former director of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, said she was concerned children were losing their ability to think for themselves, empathise and communicate with each other.

Instead, they were being bombarded with instant gratification through social media and gaming which meant that like three-year-olds they would need “something every moment to distract them so they can’t have their own inner narrative, their own inner thought…

Support for Democracy Weak Among Sweden’s Youngsters: Survey

A new survey suggests many young people in Sweden are skeptical about the traditional format of democratic governance, and think the country being ruled by experts rather than politicians would be a good idea.

The survey, carried out by analysis firm Kairos Future, was sent out to 6,000 Swedes. A majority of those aged 16-25 who responded said that “letting experts and not the Riksdag and government decide what is best for the country” is a very good, or quite good proposal

President Trump Re-Instates Phase One of Iran Sanctions

Today the White House ends the initial 90-day period for the JCPOA withdrawal, and reveals the structure of the reinstatement of U.S. sanctions against Iran.

White House: REIMPOSING TOUGH SANCTIONS: President Donald J. Trump’s Administration is taking action to reimpose sanctions lifted under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

  • President Trump made clear when he ended United States participation in the JCPOA that his Administration would be reimposing tough sanctions on the Iranian regime.
  • In connection with the withdrawal from the JCPOA, the Administration laid out two wind-down periods of 90 days and 180 days for business activities in or involving Iran.
  • Consistent with President Trump’s decision, the Administration will be reimposing specified sanctions after August 6, the final day of the 90-day wind-down period.

On August 7, sanctions will be reimposed on:

  • The purchase or acquisition of United States bank notes by the Government of Iran.
  • Iran’s trade in gold and other precious metals.
  • Graphite, aluminum, steel, coal, and software used in industrial processes.
  • Transactions related to the Iranian rial.
  • Activities relating to Iran’s issuance of sovereign debt
  • Iran’s automotive sector.

The remaining sanctions will be reimposed on November 5, including sanctions on:

  • Iran’s port operators and energy, shipping, and shipbuilding sectors.
  • Iran’s petroleum-related transactions.
  • Transactions by foreign financial institutions with the Central Bank of Iran.

The Administration will also relist hundreds of individuals, entities, vessels, and aircraft that were previously included on sanctions lists.

  • ENSURING FULL ENFORCEMENT: President Trump will continue to stand up to the Iranian regime’s aggression, and the United States will fully enforce the reimposed sanctions.

The Iranian regime has exploited the global financial system to fund its malign activities. The regime has used this funding to support terrorism, promote ruthless regimes, destabilize the region, and abuse the human rights of its own people. The Trump Administration intends to fully enforce the sanctions reimposed against Iran, and those who fail to wind down activities with Iran risk severe consequences. Since the President announced his decision on May 8 to withdraw from the JCPOA, the Administration has sanctioned 38 Iran-related targets in six separate actions.

  • PROTECTING OUR NATIONAL SECURITY: The JCPOA was defective at its core and failed to guarantee the safety of the American people.

A Month of Multiculturalism in Spain: July 2018

The United Nations reported that June 2018 was a record month for illegal migration to Spain. In all, 17,781 illegal migrants arrived in Spain during the first six months of 2018, almost double the 9,581 migrants who arrived in Spain during the same period in 2017.

The Islamic Commission of Spain, a Muslim umbrella group, threatened to file a lawsuit against the regional government in Valencia if it fails to offer Islam courses in public schools.

“It is not possible that there are residency permits for everyone, nor is a welfare state sustainable that absorbs the millions of Africans who want to come to Europe. We have to say it, even if it is politically incorrect. Let’s be honest and responsible with this question.” — Pablo Casado, leader of the center-right Popular Party.

Australia Population Boom: Record 25 Million Number Hit Decade Earlier Than Expected

Every minute, one person arrives to live in Australia, the data shows, underpinning demand for everything from homes to cars, schools and hospitals, and boosting the country’s economic fortunes.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics estimates the country’s population will reach 26 million in three years’ time, based on current trends.

The rapid increase in migrant numbers has sparked a debate on the economic and social impact of migration given inadequate infrastructure has resulted in clogged cities while an expanding labour market has capped wage growth.

Did Morocco Let More Migrants Make Dangerous Spain Crossing to Get a Good Deal With EU?

Morocco may have relaxed migration controls into Europe as leverage in key negotiations with Brussels, it’s been claimed.

The country, 14 kilometres from Andalucia, is in fresh focus after its northern neighbour Spain emerged as the busiest route into the EU for migrants.

Experts say while they cannot be certain, there are suspicions border checks were eased ahead of negotiations on a fisheries agreement and how much Brussels should give Rabat for helping protect the EU’s external border.

Germany: Mass Migration vs. Microaggression

Instead of listening to genuine concerns felt by ordinary citizens, the German political establishment rushed to criminalize dissent. Earlier this year, Merkel’s government enforced an “anti-hate speech social media law.”

Immigrants who tried to challenge the microaggression narrative on social media faced abuse and were told to shut up.

While the German political establishment and the activist media are busy detecting microaggressions in their society, the massive number of newcomers may well be macro-transforming the heart of Europe, irreversibly.

Migrant Urges Germans, Austrians to Give Refugees ‘Their Homes and Money’

The influx of refugees from the Middle East in 2015 has resulted in significant friction in many European countries, as citizens increasingly express their displeasure at the need to spend tax money on migrants, as well as concern over security issues. This has led to growing support for right-wing parties across Europe, including Austria.

Aras Bacho, a Syrian refugee living in Austria, has suggested in an open letter published in the daily newspaper OE24 that ordinary Austrians and Germans should participate in the integration process of migrants. According to him, integration requires “both sides to work,” meaning that Germans and Austrians should take refugees into their homes, as well as to live and go out with them.

Watch This Video and Ask Why the Left is Brutalizing Stephen Miller for Doing What Congress Should be Doing

Stephen Miller is one brilliant guy! We’ve been following him since the campaign of 2016 and can’t say enough great things about him. He would often give a speech to warm up the crowd at Trump rallies. The speech is a barnburner and gets to the heart of exactly why Trump won in 2016. The left should be quiet long enough to listen to what Miller is saying…They might stop losing voters to the Republican Party!

We noticed the Senior Advisor to President Trump is trending on Twitter this morning and realized he’s being attacked for his effort to tighten up legal immigration to the U.S. He’s looking at our immigration policies and putting Americans first…the left doesn’t see it that way.

The guy is so dialed in on immigration and what needs to be done to reform it. One million people come into the U.S. yearly! 300K in the 70’s, 500K in the 80’s and now 1 million!

The eighteen-part Netflix series, titled Anne with an E and produced and broadcast by CBC in Canada, has just begun its second season.

Teaching Good Little Girls to Hate and to Fear

Golly, just when we deplorables had finished digesting the incomparable Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, along comes another tasty dish: the New York Times’ pet racist and sexist, Sarah Jeong.

AOC’s claim to fame is a B.A. at Boston University, which explains everything. So I wondered about Korean-born Sarah Jeong. Sure enough, says La Wik:

She attended the University of California Berkeley and Harvard Law School, where she was editor of Harvard Journal of Law & Gender.

Dear God. Of course, Jeong is an anti-white racist and an anti-male sexist, for that is what she was carefully taught by her lefty teachers and administrators.

Sunspot Update for July 2018: The Sun Flatlines!

Yesterday NOAA posted its monthly update of the solar cycle, covering sunspot activity for July 2018. As I do every month, I am posting it below, annotated to give it some context.

This might be the most significant month of solar activity that has been observed since Galileo. Except for two very short-lived and very weak sunspots that observers hardly noted, the Sun was blank for entire month of July. This has not happened since 2009, during the height of the last solar minimum.

What makes this so significant and unique is that it almost certainly signals the return of the next solar minimum, a return that comes more than a year early. The solar cycle the Sun is now completing has only been ten years long. It is also one of the weakest in more than a hundred years. This combination is unprecedented. In the past such a weak cycle required a long cycle, not a short one.
