ADP: U.S. Economy Added 177,000 Jobs in June; May’s Numbers Revised Upward to 189,000

ADP’s National Employment Report for June shows a robust jobs market, with the U.S. economy adding another 177,000 new jobs, while revising May’s numbers up by 11,000 to 189,000.

More than 60 percent of the job growth is happening in small— and medium-size companies, and it is taking place in every sector of the economy. The only exception is Information Technology (IT), which shrank by a nearly imperceptible 2,000 jobs in June. Small and medium-size companies added more than 100,000 jobs, while the goods-producing sector (natural resources, mining, construction, and manufacturing) added 29,000 jobs in June. In the service sector, every category except IT (trade, financial, business services, education, health service, and leisure and hospitality) showed job gains for the month.

Artificial Intelligence Could One Day Determine Which Films Get Made

According to the founder of artificial intelligence outfit ScriptBook, Sony Pictures could have saved a fortune from 2015 to 2017 by using the company’s algorithms instead of human beings to reject or greenlight movies.

In a presentation at the Karlovy Vary Intl. Film Festival, ScriptBook founder Nadira Azermai said that by analyzing screenplays, ScriptBook retroactively identified as box-office failures 22 out of the 32 Sony movies that lost money in that period, during which Sony released a total of 62 movies.

“If Sony had used our system they could have eliminated 22 movies that failed financially,” said Azermai

Bundy Trial Judge Slams Prosecutor’s Last Plea for Conviction [Video]

A federal judge just slammed a prosecutors’ request to reconsider her dismissal (see our previous report below) of the case against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, his two sons and friend Ryan Payne.

U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro dismissed conspiracy charges against the four men on Jan. 8 after finding that prosecutors had acted “with prejudice” throughout the trial, The Oregonian reported. Federal prosecutors violated federal law and failed to share evidence favorable to the defendants case with the court.

“The Court’s finding of outrageous government conduct was not in error,” Navarro wrote in her 11-page ruling, obtained by The Oregonian. “On the contrary, a universal sense of justice was violated by the Government’s failure to provide evidence that is potentially exculpatory.”

Navarro said Monday it was clear the FBI was involved in the prosecution and it was not a coincidence that most of the evidence that was held back — which would have worked in Bundy’s favor — came from the FBI, AZCentral reported.

Facebook Algorithm Flags the Declaration of Independence as “Hate Speech”

Over the last couple of years major social media, news and video platforms have been actively engaged in the censorship of what they believe to be fake news and information. Often spearheaded by third-party review organizations known to have biased views, there have been countless examples of unpopular speech and commentary that has seen its distribution suppressed or outright banned.

While there is most certainly a human element involved in the review and flagging of information, mega Silicon Valley conglomerates have also implemented automated systems to identify potentially hateful and repulsive content.

To give you an idea of the kind of automation in play and what words and ideas are being identified as running contrary to the principles of media aggregators and distributors, consider that Facebook recently banned America’s founding document from being posted.

Mueller Probe Expands Despite Pleas to “Finish it the Hell Up”

Instead of winding down his investigation into Russian interference/collusion in the US 2016 election, Robert Mueller is requisitioning additional Department of Justice resources in the latest sign that the probe continues to expand nearly 14 months after Mueller was appointed special counsel. According to Bloomberg, in a sign that Mueller is preparing to hand off more of his investigation to other federal prosecutors — like he did with the investigation into Michael Cohen (which he “delegated” to the southern district of New York) — the DOJ is now spending more on supplemental work for Mueller than it is spending on the special counsel’s own staff.

National Emergency: Extreme Heat and Drought Fuel Dozens of Explosive Wildfires in the Western United States

Firefighters all over the western part of the country are talking about an unprecedented wildfire season, and we are only in early July. It is going to get a lot hotter and a lot drier as we move deeper into the summer, and the wildfires are likely to get a whole lot worse. At this moment, more than 600,000 acres of land are on fire in America. From California to Colorado and from Alaska to Arizona, extremely violent wildfires are raging out of control as firefighters battle relentlessly to save homes and lives. Rain is desperately needed, but right now much of the Southwest is experiencing a historic drought. In fact, things have gotten so bad that some experts are already comparing this drought to the Dust Bowl conditions of the 1930s. If very high temperatures and extreme drought persist, that is going to continue to create ideal conditions for more wildfires.

Studies have shown that wildfires burn worse on federally-controlled land because of extreme mismanagement, and that is precisely what we are witnessing at this time. Fox News is reporting that “ about 70 fires” are raging currently, and unusually high winds in many areas are making some of them extremely difficult for firefighters to deal with…

Students: American Exceptionalism ‘Egotistical, ‘ Repeal All Donald Trump’s Policies

Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips visited New York Univerity in Manhattan ahead of Independence Day and asked students if they felt proud to be an American — he was met with a resounding “no.”

One female student took aim at the idea of American Exceptionalism, describing the view as both “egotistical and not accurate.” When Philips inquired which country is better than the U.S., she replied: “Probably some nice little socialist country in Europe.”

Teen Attacked for Wearing MAGA Hat, Assailant Fired

San Antonio police are investigating what appears to be a politically motivated hate crime after 16-year-old Trump supporter Richard Hunter was reportedly assaulted by an aggressive liberal for wearing a red MAGA hat at a local Whataburger.

In a video which went viral Wednesday, an angry man in black-rimmed glasses can be seen throwing a soda on Hunter and two friends at 2:35 a.m. on the 4th of July. As the man walks away with the teenager’s MAGA hat, he can be heard shouting “this is gonna go great in my ing fireplace, bitch,” while walking out of the eatery with another man who filmed the encounter.

Hunter told Fox 29 San Antonio that some of his hair was pulled when the man ripped his hat off, while calling for civil discourse instead of confrontation.

I support my President and if you don’t let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me.” —Richard Hunter

The Gathering Storm

In other words, the social crises, the constitutional crises, the financial crises— all of these are to some degree mere manifestations of the failure of centralized systems that arose to benefit from conditions that no longer exist.

Our centralized institutions and systems are failing, and shuffling the management and tweaking the parameters cannot stave off collapse.

What nobody gorging at the trough of the status quo dares admit is the system is failing most of its participants, and this is the source of populism and other manifestations of social disorder. I often publish this chart, as it crystallizes and encapsulates the verboten reality of 21st century America: the few are skimming the vast majority of the rewards of the system, at the expense of the many.

Critics Blast New French Laws Censoring ‘Fake News’

The French National Assembly passed two bills this week concerning the censorship of “fake news” that have been sharply criticized as an attack on freedom of the press and the imposition of an “official truth.”

The two controversial bills—which now pass to the senate for approval—address the “manipulation of information” in the three months prior to national elections and referendums, granting sweeping powers of censorship to the judiciary branch of government. The bills respond to proposals by French President Emmanuel Macron earlier this year for legislative intervention to prevent the spread of “fake news” on social media during elections.

European Parliament Rejects Controversial EU Copyright Law Backed by France

The European Parliament rejected Thursday a highly controversial EU copyright law proposal that has pitted Beatles legend Paul McCartney against internet giants and the creators of Wikipedia.

Lawmakers are now expected to return in September to the plans, which are aimed at ensuring creators of creative content — whether music, movies or news — are paid fairly in a digital world.

The draft law was firmly resisted by major US tech giants as well as advocates of internet freedom, with some campaigners warning it could even spell the end of viral “memes” or jokes.

“Today’s vote represents a victory for democracy,” said Siada El Ramly, head of EDiMA, a lobby representing Google, Facebook and other US tech giants.

Members of European Parliament meeting in the eastern French city of Strasbourg voted 318 against the measure, 278 in favour, with 31 abstentions…

Farage Slams EU Army Plans, Bloc ‘Hell-Bent on Collision With Trump’

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has slammed the European Commission president for building an army to rival NATO and the U.S. military, claiming the bloc is “hell-bent to be in direct collision with Donald Trump”.

The former leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) blasted the unelected Brussels boss Jean-Claude Juncker at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Tuesday.

He was attacking the bloc’s ‘PESCO’ project, a Brussels defence cooperation agreement signed in November 2017 by 23 member states, informally known as the European Union (EU) army.

Fears May Will Scrap Brexit Department for Being Too Pro-Brexit

The Prime Minister is suspected of moving to sideline or even abolish the Brexit department, because it is too openly pro-Brexit, as the Brexit secretary warns her against abandoning a clean exit from the bloc and pushing to stay tied to its rules.

David Davis, the Brexit secretary, was Wednesday night leading a last-minute push by senior Tory eurosceptics to talk Theresa May out of backing a “third way” Brexit that would keep the UK locked in a customs union and single market with the European Union (EU).

The cabinet is meeting Friday at Chequers, where ministers are expected to attempt to make a decision on the issue.

Germany: ‘Decapitating’ Freedom of the Press?

In an apparent attempt to sweep under the rug a recent double homicide in Hamburg, Germany, authorities there censored the story. They also raided the apartments of a witness who filmed a video describing the murder, and a blogger who posted the video on YouTube.

The murder, which made headlines worldwide, occurred on the morning of April 12. The assailant, Mourtala Madou, a 33-year-old illegal immigrant from Niger, stabbed his German ex-girlfriend, identified as Sandra P., and their one-year-old daughter, Miriam, at a Hamburg subway station. The child died at the scene; her mother died later, at the hospital. The woman’s three-year-old son witnessed the murders.

Italy: Health Minister Grillo Expecting, Will Have Baby Vaccinated

Parents can use self-certification to admit kids to school

(ANSA) — Rome, July 5 — Health Minister Giulia Grillo, a member of the 5-Star Movement (M5S), said Thursday that she was pregnant and stressed that she would have her baby vaccinated.

The M5S has been accused of having an ambivalent attitude with regard to vaccines and the new government has talked of changing a law making vaccinations obligatory for school admission.

Grillo announced she was pregnant at a press conference at which she confirmed that parents will be able to self certify that they are in compliance with the obligatory vaccinations law to enrol their children for the 2018-2019 school year, rather than present the actual vaccination record. The obligatory-vaccinations law had set a deadline of July 10 for parents to present vaccines documentation for enrolment.

Italy: ‘Rape Worse at Start’ Man Charges Dropped

Pakistani was sacked after comments on Rimini gang rapes

(ANSA) — Rome, September 4 — Prosecutors on Thursday shelved a case against a 24-year-old Pakistani cultural mediator for an Italian migrant-reception cooperative who said rape was worse “only at the beginning” and then women enjoyed it.

The Bologna prosecutor said his words were “certainly vulgar.

gratuitous and offensive for women” but did not constitute instigation to commit a crime.

The man was sacked September 4 by the Bologna-based organisation Monday after commenting on Rimini rapes by a North African gang.

He said rape is “a worse act, but only at the beginning, when the willy goes in, then the woman becomes calm and you enjoy it like normal intercourse”.

Abid Jee’s Facebook post caused a storm despite being quickly removed.

The Lai-Momo cooperative fired the cultural mediator, rejecting a written justification.

(ANSAmed) — PARIS, JULY 5 — A confidential statement to French President Emmanuel Macron by one of his closest collaborators and published Thursday by French daily Le Monde outlines a plan to regulate Islam by making financing transparent and better integrating the community based on the principles of French social and economic life.

The plan was drawn up by Macron collaborator Hakim El Karoui, and provides for the creation of an association managed by French Muslims that will train and pay the imams, remodel the mosques and manage communication.

It will be financed by a tax on halal food products and on pilgrimages to Mecca, as well as by a tax exemption on donations by followers.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan Agrees to Fly Trump in a Diaper Blimp During POTUS Visit

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, who has previously expressed disdain for President Trump, has agreed a request to fly a blimp made up to look like a baby Trump in a diaper during the President’s state visit next week.

The 20-foot-tall blimp has been made by a protester in Britain who intends to fly it over parliament simply to ridicule the President during the visit because in his own words, “Trump has a tremendously fragile ego.”

“We want to make sure he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and laughing at him,” the man Leo Murray told NBC News last month.

Now, after originally saying that the ‘Trump Baby’ was not legitimate protest, Sadiq Khan has approved the stunt, with his office issuing the following statement:

“The Mayor supports the right to peaceful protest and understands that this can take many different forms.”

“His city operations team have met with the organisers and have given them permission to use Parliament Square Garden as a grounding point for the blimp.” the statement continued.

UKIP ‘Saves the Internet’: EU’s Attack on Memes Voted Down, Delayed

The European Parliament has voted to delay new copyright laws that would have required the monitoring of all online uploads and could have effectively outlawed meme culture.

The proposed laws come amid a sustained effort by the European Union (EU) to regulate expression online and were met with a ‘Save Your Internet’ campaign which united activists across the political divide.

The EU attempted to rush the laws through and into secret negotiations with the European Council and unelected European Commission before UKIP and other parties pushed for a vote.

Earlier this week, UKIP leader Gerard Batten blasted the proposed laws, known as Article 13 and the ‘link tax’ Article 11, as an attempt to “destroy the capacity for free speech” online.

A total of 318 MEPs voted against opening the secret talks this Wednesday, with 278 voting favour and 31 abstaining.

China Rejects US “Blackmail” On Eve of Trade War, Vows to Fight Back

With just hours left until the US officially declares trade war on China at midnight on Friday, when the Trump admin enacts tariffs on $34bn in Chinese products and Beijing retaliates instantly, China on Thursday rejected “threats and blackmail” ahead of a threatened U.S. tariff hike, once again striking a defiant stance in the dispute which companies have warned could flare into a full-blown trade war and chill the global economy.

A government spokesman said Beijing will defend itself if U.S. President Donald Trump goes ahead Friday with plans to raise duties on Chinese goods in the escalating conflict over technology policy. The Chinese government has already issued a list of U.S. goods for retaliation, but the Commerce Ministry said it will wait to see what Washington does.

“China will not bow in the face of threats and blackmail, nor will it be shaken in its resolve to defend global free trade,” said ministry spokesman Gao Feng at a news conference.

A Conversation With French Writer Renaud Camus

Jean Renaud Gabriel Camus, co-founder and President of the National Council of European Resistance, is a French writer known for having coined the phrase “Great replacement” — referring to the reported colonization of Western Europe by immigrants from North Africa and the Middle East.

Grégoire Canlorbe: “Replacement” is, you say, the ideology of the world superclass.[1] Do you see in Emmanuel Macron an agent of the “world superclass”?

Renaud Camus: Ah yes: the best. This is the man from Davos. Indeed, he sets in with great strides what I call the “Direct Davocracy,” the direct management of the human park by the banks, the stateless financiers, and the multinationals.

One only has to observe the systematic and hasty neutralization of the middle political stratum: the return to their homes of all the French political figures who have been in the spotlight for thirty years; a government of hangers-on; a parliamentary majority of dazed puppets; the constant reduction in the advantages of a political career… one would not be able to enumerate all, this is never-ending. The state is being destroyed stone by stone for the benefit of major investors.

Italy: Austria and Germany Seek to Halt Mediterranean Migration

(CBN) Since before the days of the early church, God has always been addressed in prayers as a male, including terms like Father, King, and Lord.

In the New Testament, Jesus taught his disciples to pray to God using a male term. In Luke 11:1-4, one of the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. “ And He said to them, When you pray, say: ‘ Father, hallowed be Your name.’“ (NASV)

Now the Episcopal Church is debating about overhauling its Book of Common Prayer, which is used in Episcopal congregations worldwide.

Italy: Lesbian Non-Biological Mother Recognised as Birth Mum

‘She shared project of assisted procreation’

(ANSA) — Naples, July 5 — In a revolutionary sentence, a Naples appeals court on Thursday recognised the non-biological mother in a lesbian couple as the mother of a child from its birth. The second mum is also a birth mother, the court ruled, because “she accepted and shared the project of assisted procreation”.

The court upheld an appeal on stepchild adoption of a child born from her partner using assisted fertility.

The second mother has been awarded the status of birth mother and not just adoptive mother.

The New Oil Cartel Threatening OPEC

When reports emerged that India and China are in talks about forming an oil buyers’ club, OPEC was probably too busy with its upcoming June 22 meeting to concern itself with that dangerous alliance. Now, it may be time for it to start worrying.

“The timing is right. The boom in U.S. oil and gas production gives us greater leverage against OPEC,” the Times of India quoted an Indian official as saying last month after the formal start of said talks. The two countries, after all, account for a combined 17 percent of global oil consumption and they are the ones that would be the hardest hit if prices rise as a result of OPEC’s actions.

What’s more, they might not be alone in this attempt to curb OPEC’s clout on the global oil market. According to Bloomberg’s Carl Pope, Europe and Japan, previously reluctant to take part in any anti-OPEC projects, may now join in. The reason they are likely to join in is that unlike in previous oil price cycles, now there are alternatives to fossil fuels. Electrification is where OPEC may have to face off with a future oil buyers’ cartel.

India, China, and Europe are all very big on EV adoption. Japan is a leader in battery manufacturing.

If they set their minds to it, these four players could upend the oil market and effectively cripple OPEC. Of course, this is a best-case scenario of the kind that rarely unfolds in reality.

  1. Whopping. !!

When I saw the word whopping methought it was 6.9 million. I looked closely there was no point, disappointed I resigned to the fact that it was really merely 69.

What a great feat by Angie Hajjia, the tender mother of all muslims jihadi or not.

By the way all came from the same hellhole. How are these different from the rest.

    0.0046 (n) = 69 n = 15 000 Really? Europe is full of miracles: 15 million can transmogrify into 15 000 at will if they are Pirates.

    • .0046% is the same as the decimal .000046. Multiply 1.5 million by that number and you get 69.

      • That’s correct, Baron. My mistake. I appreciate that. I did not pay attention to the % sign.

  2. “Brexit leader Nigel Farage has slammed the European Commission president for building an army to rival NATO and the U.S. military, claiming the bloc is “hell-bent to be in direct collision with Donald Trump”.

An independent army under the direct control of unelected socialist EU bureaucrats….what possibly could go wrong?

    • A lot can and will go wrong. European defences are in a deplorable state as it is.
How you can forge a unified EU army out of this rabble is beyond me besides European leaders can never agree to anything let alone an EU army.
Since the UK is leaving, English as a “lingua franca” must be dropped by the EU therefore this new “army” must go back to school and learn French and German.
      Good luck with that.

  3. “In its online survey of 1,448 registered voters, the pollsters asked, “Do you think that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, known as ICE, should be disbanded, or not?” Sixty-nine percent of them said no, while 70 percent of them said ICE should instead step up its enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws.”

Hmmm, looks like the Democrat party is onto a winning strategy here.

The Truth About Sweden. Prepare Yourself Accordingly

    Almost 3 hours

On September 9th, 2018, Sweden’s national election will determine members of the Riksdag which in turn will elect the Prime Minister of Sweden. Like in much of Europe, discussions about the migrant crisis and immigration have taken priority as citizens head to the ballot box. Establishment parties including the Social Democrats and Moderate Party face strong opposition from the immigration-critical Sweden Democrats. On May 4th, 2018, the ruling Social Democrats announced a “change” to their migration policy which allowed over 350,000 asylum seekers to arrive within the previous four years. While refusing to set any type of hard limit, Social Democrat figures announced plans to negotiate more restrictive asylum legislation with the European Union, requiring municipalities to deny services to those refused asylum, abolition or reduction in work permits for denied applicants, expanded measures to ensure the identity of asylum seekers and more! Includes: The European Migrant Crisis, Aslum applications over-time, foreign-born population, the upcoming Sweden national elections, rise of the Swedish Democrats, Sweden Democrats Leader Jimmie Åkesson, pressure from the European Union, rising criminality, Asylum home overload, the Dublin Regulation, Sweden No-Go Zones, the rise of sexual assault, Cultural Enrichment, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), child marriage prevalence, population projections, migrant voting and much much more!

  5. This summer, my husband and I drove 2,700 kilometers across the European part of Russia from north to south by car. We drove slowly, stopping in the cities. In some I have been there many years ago. Russia is very “blackened”.

I read a lot of press, including the foreign Islamic. Everyone is very unhappy with Putin and Assad. In Russia, these materials are immediately blocked, but the part sometimes slips in social networks.
I wonder when this difference will explode: Putin bombs Muslims outside of Russia and Putin massively imports Muslims to Russia.

I am glad that I live in an economically unfavorable region where migrants do not go.

    • I am glad that I live in an economically unfavorable region where migrants do not go.

A matter of time. I thought poverty was the saving grace of Albania. No. They want to send… 600,000 cultural enrichers in Albania. I know that you think that they would fit well in Albania, but that’s not the case.

In UK they have already colonized beyond repair all the major cities. What comes next? Voices are rising for the government to forcibly settle some colons in every village. They are coming. Things are really dire.

      • Indeed they are dire. As if Central and Eastern Europe hadn’t suffered enough. Like our Russian commenter, I feel fortunate to live in such a poor, boring, and unattractive area. The nearest culture enrichers are in a compound several counties over, all former felons, graduated from our fine prison institutions. Sullen.

        • Africa is projected to reach 2.5 bullion people. This is how the good intentions of Europe end up. They ate up all of the humanitarian aid and turned it into more people. Fast forward to Africanization of the planet. Then we’ll be all blessed.

All of Balkans are one nation, many languages. Globalists shattered us into statelets smaller than Rhodes Island, rife with ethnic cleansing. Now they want to bless us with 600,000 bundles of love from (of all places) Middle East.

      • I live in a monoethnic traditionally Russian region, I do not think that it threatens us in the short term. While we were driving by car, I noticed that in our locality there are no roadside “crosses”. But there are a lot of them in regions with a mixed population, especially in the South and the Volga region. It looks like a metaphysical markup of the territory.

      • In the case of Albania, I am rather optimistic.
The population there is not as brainwashed as the one in northern Europe and illegals will quickly be taught where their place is, and be it six feet under.

        • I am cautiously optimistic. It is true that people are not brainwashed in this direction and that people have guns and in some cases antitank bazookas. Here is where the good news end. Albanians do not look much beyond their family. Both the British and the Germans define Albanians as cowards, efficient at manipulating, not good for the fight. In this moment the plan to relocate in Albania 600,000 Middle Eastern bundles of love has been dropped, at least officially. For this I also thank Trump who keeps globalists busy. As information came out, PM Edi Rama, personal friend of Soros (attended his wedding in private) said that the plan has been dropped. Information came out.
